In this paper, some terms of high school mathematics which read Chinese characters phonetically in Hangul are studied semantically. Nowadays, most terms of high school mathematics are terms of Chinese characters given the reading of them in Hangul alphabet. In such terms of Chinese characters, there are many loan-words from daily life and newly coined terms. Some such terms are examined in respect of meaningfulness and rule-ness. The degree of meaningfulness and rule-ness of loan-words from daily life are relative. Students seems familiar to loan-words usually, but it is difficult to know whether students seems to be familiar to loan-words or not. Degree of familiarity to a certain loan-word must be relative. In loan-words, there are such terms whose mathematical meaning is different from daily life meaning. Such terms are strong in rule-ness. Newly coined terms are strong in rule-ness. Students are not familiar to newly coined terms which are not used in daily life and have only mathematical meaning. In coining new terms using Chinese character, unit characters are related directly or indirectly to concept which unit characters want to express. So, It is possible to guess something unit characters want to express by investigating them. According to Vinner(1991), images can be evoked. But in case of reading Chinese characters phonetically in Hangul, it can not be guaranteed for Hangul mathematical terms to evoke images which the original mathematical terms evoked. To solve such problems semantic investigation of mathematical terms has been suggested. Through this process, transplanting images which the original mathematical terms evoked into Hangul terms are planned.
Objective: This study was performed to identify the related factors of exercise injury throughout the actual cases among patients. Method: The subjects of the study consisted of 304 patients(209 male and 95 female) over 20's in seoul and kyonggi area, and data collected by using questionnaires were analyzed with SPSS/WIN 11.0 program. To prove the relative factors of exercise injury from hospital patients Results: 1) It was found that the general degree of exercise injury showed significant difference regarding gender, age and education level. In other words, if it was male, young and high school graduate, the portion of exercise injury for the person was higher than others. On the other hand, the duration of medical treatment for the patient, who is male, old and college graduate took longer than the others. 2) It demonstrated that the lower extremity was most intensively damaged due to the exercise injury, especially, knees and ankles had the most portion of exercise injury and a sprain was the most common form of exercise injury for these body parts. 3) The degree of exercise injury regarding of exercise maintains significant difference with the frequency of exercise. In fact, the more exercise was done by a person such as 3 to 4 days a week, the less duration of medical treatment for the person was taken. 4) It also showed that there was significant difference between the habit of exercise and the degree of exercise injury. In other words, a person had better exercise habit, it took the person less duration of medical treatment. As well, if someone had better warming up, he or she had lower degree of exercise injury after all. Conclusion: Consequently, according to the data, the research suggested that the male needed more carefulness than the female in exercise. Old age people needed to be more careful of getting sprain of knee and ankle in particular. As well, it concluded that people needed not only enough warming up before doing exercise but also positive habit of exercise in order to minimize the exercise injury.
Many games for English vocabulary learning, such as hangman, cross puzzle, matching, etc, have been developed which are of board-type or computer game-type. Most of these computer games are adapting strategy-style game plays so that there is a limit on giving the fun, a nature of games, to learners who do not like games of this style. In this paper, a system for memorizing new English words is proposed which is based on a single-player car racing game targeting youths and adults. In the game, the core of our system, a learner drives a car and obtains game points by colliding with English word texts like game items appearing on the track. The learner keeps on viewing English words being exposed on the track while driving, resulting in memorizing those words according to a learning principle stating viewing is memorization. To our experiment, the effect of memorizing English words by our car racing game is good, and the degree of satisfaction with our system as a English vocabulary learning tool is reasonably high. Also, previous word games are suitable for the memory enforcement of English words but our game can be used for the memorization of new words.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference in elementary school children's human rights sensitivity and the perception of human rights depending on child variables, family variables, school variables, and predictive influences among these variables. The participants were 1,364 elementary school children in the 'Current Status of Korean Children's and Youth's Rights(2013)'. The results of this study were as follows: First, the variables influencing children's human rights sensitivity were school life experience, grade, the degree to which adolescents think they are respected in deciding family issues, gender, experiences of teacher's swear words, experiences of being neglected, and experiences of being bullied at school. Second, the variables influencing children's perception of human rights were gender, experiences of parents' swear words, school life experience, the degree to which adolescents think they are respected in deciding family issues, and father's educational achievements. The results of this study offered fundamental data about the important issues in researching children's rights and the policy implications for enhancing them.
For a long period, vowel reduction has been accepted as one of the most common pronunciation rules in Russian phonology. However, since the rules have been modified in many ways after the influx of loanwords, [a, e, i, o, u, ${\star}$]-including [e, o]-can now be pronounced in unstressed position, obeying the rule of vowel reduction. Especially in Modern Russian, along with the destruction of the consonant pronunciation norm due to some relatively complex changes it underwent palatalization, consonant pronunciation has been simplified, and as a response to such a phenomenon, the specialization of vowel pronunciation rule is now occurring. In other words, in the interrelation between consonants and vowels, as the pronunciation rules for consonants are simplified and thus the contrast between consonants is weakened, the degree of dependence on pronunciation of segment in the vowel pronunciation rule has been elevated. Therefore, the analysis says that the degree of vowel reduction depends on a vowel's distance from a stressed syllable is not enough; the influence of surrounding phonemes-including consonants-or the formative characteristics of words themselves should also be considered. The introduction of Max-noncorner/UnderLex, a/an Licence constraint that is related to non-declension nouns, and that of IdentC[back] and ShareCV[back], which are faithfulness constraint and share constraint respectively that are related to the nature of consonants stresses that vowel pronunciation rules should not be simply viewed as rules for vowels; The rules should be analyzed with emphasis on their correlation with surrounding phonemes.
The purpose of this study is to present a qualitative research method for extracting and analyzing the comments written by YouTube video users. To do this, we used YouTube users' feedback to measure the hedonic, social, and utilitarian gratification of use and gratification theory(UGT) through by using analysis and topic modeling. The result of the measurement found that the first reason why users watch the trot singer, Cho Myung-sub's video in the KBS Korean broadcasting channel is to achieve hedonic gratification with high frequency. In word-document network analysis, the degree of centrality was high in words, such as 'cheering', 'thank you', 'fighting', and 'best'. Betweenness centrality is similar to the degree of centrality. Eigenvector centrality also shows that words such as 'love', 'heart', and 'thank you' are the most influential words of users' opinions. The results of the centrality analysis present that the majority of video users show their 'love', 'heart' and 'thank you' for the video. it indicates that the high words in centrality analysis is consistent with the high frequency words of hedonic and social gratification dimension of the UGT. The study has research methodological implication that shed light on the motivations for watching YouTube videos with UGT using text mining techniques that automate qualitative analysis, rather than following a survey-based structural equation model.
In this paper, we propose a matrix hypercube graph as a new topology for parallel computer and analyze its characteristics of the network parameters, such as degree, routing and diameter. N-dimensional matrix hypercube graph MH(2,n) contains 22n vertices and has relatively lower degree and smaller diameter than well-known hypercube graph. The matrix hypercube graph MH(2,n) and the hypercube graph Q2n have the same number of vertices. In terms of the network cost, defined as the product of the degree and diameter, the former has n2 while the latter has 4n2. In other words, it means that matrix hypercube graph MH(2,n) is better than hypercube graph Q2n with respect to the network cost.
Purpose In this study, first, we try to make embedding results that reflect the characteristics of both professional and general documents. In addition, when disparate documents are put together as learning materials for natural language processing, we try to propose a method that can measure the degree of reflection of the characteristics of individual domains in a quantitative way. Approach For this study, the Korean Supreme Court Precedent documents and Korean Wikipedia are selected as specialized documents and general documents respectively. After extracting the most similar word pairs and similarities of unique words observed only in the specialized documents, we observed how those values were changed in the process of embedding with general documents. Findings According to the measurement methods proposed in this study, it was confirmed that the degree of specificity of specialized documents was relaxed in the process of combining with general documents, and that the degree of dissolution could have a positive correlation with the size of general documents.
Purpose - This study investigated the effect of the negative affect on compulsive buying and the interaction effect of the negative affect depending on the level of mindfulness. Compulsive buying is defined as chronic, repetitive purchasing that becomes an overlearned and automatic way to cope with negative feelings, and compulsive buyers may be particularly susceptible to cognitive narrowing when shopping. Mindfulness may be defined as a coordinative regulatory process to increase the level of attention by recognizing the present experiences non-judgmentally. Hence, mindfulness can be related with negative psychological results such as general mental distress, especially compulsive buying. The purpose of the current study is to examine the relationship between compulsive buying and mindfulness. In another words, this study investigated the effect of the internal regulatory mechanism (that is, mindfulness) on the mental disorder resulting from negative affect in the area of consumption (that is, compulsive buying). Research design, data, and methodology - One hundred and twenty-five college students were recruited for this study. The subjects were classified into two groups according to the degree of the negative affect (High Negative Affect Group vs. Low Negative Affect Group) by the mean value of negative affect (=2.47). The subjects were classified into two other groups according to the degree of mindfulness (High Mindfulness Group vs. Low Mindfulness Group) by the mean value of mindfulness (= 3.47). To analyze the effect of negative affect on compulsive buying, the degree of compulsive buying of the High and Low Negative Affect Groups were compared. To examine the moderating effect of mindfulness by using factorial design, the interaction effect of the negative affect (High vs. Low) and the mindfulness (High vs. Low) were analyzed. Results - The degree of the compulsive buying was higher when the degree of the negative affect was higher than lower (3.06High Negative Affect Group vs. 2.87Low Negative Affect Group, p=.014). The difference in the degree of the compulsive buying was larger when the degree of the mindfulness was lower than higher. In other words, the interaction effect of the negative affect and the mindfulness on the compulsive buying could be found (F(1,124)=10.098, p<.01). Conclusions - The results of the current study showed that the compulsive buying is influenced by the negative affect and that the effect of the negative affect on the compulsive buying varies depending on the level of the mindfulness. These results can be interpreted to imply that consumers who are in a state of high mindfulness pay attention to every minute of experience and activate the coordinatory function and that, eventually, habitual and reflective responses such as compulsive buying are restricted. It is concluded that consumers' mindfulness can facilitate the self-regulatory responses and alleviate the influence of negative affect on compulsive buying. Based on these results, the theoretical and practical implications of this research were discussed and the limitations and future research areas were suggested.

This study explored the lexical sophistication features to distinguish the group membership of English proficiency, using the automatic analysis program of lexical sophistication. A total of 600 essays written by 300 Korean college students were extracted from the ICNALE (International Corpus Network of Asian Learners of English) corpus and a discriminant function analysis was performed using SPSS program. Results showed that the lexical features to distinguish three groups of English proficiency are SUBTLEXUS frequency content words, age of acquisition content words, lexical decision mean reaction time function words, and hypernymy verbs. High-level Korean students used frequent content words from SUBTLEXUS corpus to a lesser degree and produced more sophisticated words that can be learned at a later age and take longer reaction time in lexical decision task, and more concrete verbs.
