An INS Filter Design Considering Mixed Random Errors of Gyroscopes

  • We propose a filter design method to suppress the effect of gyroscope mixed random errors at INS system level. It is based on the result that mixed random errors can be represented by a single equivalent ARMA model. At first step, the time difference of equivalent ARMA process is performed, which consider the characteristic of indirect feedback Kalman filter used in INS filter. Next, a state space conversion of time differenced ARMA model is achieved. If the order of AR is greater than that of MA, the controllable or observable canonical form is used. Otherwise, we introduce the state equation of which the state variable is composed of the ARMA model output and several step ahead predicts of that. At final step, a complete form state equation is presented. The simulation results shows that the proposed method gives less transient error and better convergence compared to the conventional filter which assume the mixed random errors as white noise.

  • 분산환경에서 네트워크를 기반으로 하여 정보 문서를 공유하거나 분배함으로써 우리는 원하는 정보를 얻을 수 있다. 하지만 분산환경에서는 시스템의 이종성으로 인해 정보문서 공유 및 분배에 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 정보문서를 효율적으로 처리하기 위해 CORBA 기반의 XML 문서변환 구조를 제안하고, XML 문서변환 구조에 변환기를 설계하여 인터페이스 정의 언어인 IDL을 도큐먼트 타입의 정의인 DTD로 변환하는 기법을 제시한다.

  • This paper proposes a radiation model, which considers radiation transport as an important component in hot gas analysis. This radiation model is derived from combining the method of partial characteristics (MPC) with net emission coefficient (NEC), and it covers the drawbacks of existing models. Subsequently, using this proposed model, the arc-flow interaction in an arcing chamber can be efficiently computed. The arc is represented as an energy source term composed of ohmic heating and the radiation transport in the energy conservation equation. Ohmic heating term was computed by the electric field analysis within the conducting plasma region. Radiation transport was calculated by the proposed radiation model. Also, in this paper, radiation models were introduced and applied to the gas circuit breaker (GCB) model. Through simulation results, the efficiency of the proposed model was confirmed.

The Theoretical Calculations of Kinetic and Thermodynamics Parameters and Anharmonic Correction for the Related Reactions of NO3

  • According to the transition state (TS) theory, Gaussian software and Yao and Lin (YL) method, the thermodynamics and kinetic data respectively were calculated, and anharmonic effect was considered for related reactions of NO3. The methods of calculating and fitting kinetic and thermodynamics parameters were provided by least square method and related equations in this paper. Notably, the fitted E of Arrhenius equation was close to the calculated barrier of related reaction by QCISD(T) method. Therefore, the kinetic fitting result can well express the physical meaning of E in Arrhenius equation. Besides, the conversion process and the reaction mechanism of NO3 were researched. For NO3, it seemed that its instability results from its easy reaction with other substances rather than the decompose reaction of itself.

  • The daily photosynthetic photon flux density incident on a horizontal surface was estimated with sunshine duration through daily global radiation at Taegu in Korea. The constant and coefficient of $\AA$ngstrom equation for global radiation were calculated as 0.1763 and 0.5012, respectively. The conversion factor from daily global radiation to daily photosynthetic photon flux density was determined as 2.2359.

  • Vickers hardness is defined as indenting force per unit area indented by a pyramid-shaped diamond at the hardness test. It is well known that Vickers hardness has a direct relation with the flow stress of the strain-hardened material. This relation was theoretically investigated and the result was summerized in a form of algebraic equation in the last paper. In the present paper and experimental validation of this theoretical relation is given along with mathematical formulas for conversion of Vickers hardness into the flow stress in the strain-hardened material for practical use.

  • The topology optimization for the magnet design is studied. The magnet design in the C-core actuator is investigated by using the derived topology optimization algorithm and finite element method. The design sensitivity equation for the topology optimization is derived using the adjoint variable method and the continuum approach.

  • Thermoacoustic oscillation induced by a heater in a tube with air current is studied theoretically. Linearized perturbation equations are derived in dimensionless form under the assumption that the system is one dimensional. The equation to predict the acoustic power generation from a heating surface is derived and calculated by solving differential equations numerically. The effect of the mean velocity of the air current is illustrated. The energy conversion mechanism is shown by pressure-volume diagram like a heat engine.

  • In this study, the characteristic equation of a double sided short stator linear induction motor, referred to as LIM excited by equivalent current sheet having linear current density was derived using Maxwell's electromagnetic field theory with its entry and exit, end effects taken into consideration. According to the treatment of several physical phenomena in the air-gap i.e. the magnetic flux density distributions, thrust-force, forward and backward travelling wave with decay, normal field, the fundamental data in this study are made reference to improve the characteristics of LIM, effectual electro-magnetic energy conversion devices.
