Recently, as awareness of the need for software education has spread worldwide, the government of Korea has led compulsory software education also. Basic software education in universities has been stabilized through various trials and efforts. However, due to software classes are mandatory, students not only could not have motivation for learning but also have treated programming course as a difficult subject. In this paper, two programming classes, which were designed and managed as a problem-oriented programming class for the purpose of cultivating computational thinking for the non-computer science students, are compared using the lecture assessment results. As a result, in the case of expanding the use of the problem as a grammatical explanation aid and expanding the ratio of major-friendly problems, the student's responses were concentrated on higher scores and the response average improved by about 7%. It means that the level of difficulty experienced by learners is lowered.
The purpose of this study is to reduce the probability of occurrence of electric fires as a preemptive preventive measure, and to strengthen the capability of preventing electric fires by strengthening the cooperative function between electric fire-related departments and establishing a cooperative system. In this study, the general aspects of electric fires were identified by reviewing the literature such as ignition mechanisms of electric fires. And the major electrical fires that occurred in the last 10 years were classified into ignition factors (short circuit, overload/overcurrent, and earth leakage/ground fault) and ignition sources (wiring/wiring appliances, electrical equipment/household appliances). And the 4M technique was used to analyze the potential causes of ignition at the fire site and to suggest preventive measures. In the case In this study, out of 48 electrical fires in the past 10 years, 16 short-circuit fires, 3 overload/overcurrent fires, 3 short-circuit and earth fault fires, 16 fires in wiring/wiring appliances, and 10 fires in electrical equipment/home appliances classified as cases. And prevention measures were presented in terms of human, machine, media, and management by using the 4M technique. For the preemptive prevention of electric fires, strengthening the compulsory electrical safety inspection and making it mandatory to report when new or expanding electric facilities, charging a fee for electric safety inspection for detached houses and granting benefits subject to inspection completion, improvement of the electric safety voluntary inspection table and safety indications; It was suggested as a policy to organize and operate electrical safety inspection personnel in a two-person team (mixed), establish a close work cooperation system with related organizations, and strengthen electrical safety education and publicity.

The purpose of this study is to analyze high school chemistry curricula in Korea and China in order to identify possible implications for the improvement of the Korean curriculum. The school curricula of Korea and China had been developed by the Ministry of Education of both countries as national curricula. The 1996 Chinese high school chemistry curriculum, and the 7th Korean high school chemistry curriculum announced in 1997 were compared in respect to the characters, objectives, history, time allotment, structure, subject contents, and assessment plans. Based on the comparative analysis of the curricula, some of the ideas, which provide implications for the improvement of Korean chemistry curriculum, were identified. The identified ideas were elaborated to seek directions for the solutions of current problems in chemistry curriculum. such as common science subject. tentative implementation of curriculum, compulsory provision of chemistry, subjects in science course, enlargement of curriculum, and methods of assessment.
The purpose of this study is to analyze students' needs for improving the liberal arts curriculum at J University. In order to achieve such as this, 422 students from 11 departments of J University's two campuses looked at the core goals of 1 liberal arts education, 2 core competences that they think should be achieved in the liberal arts curriculum, 3 subject areas of the liberal arts curriculum they wish to open, 4 hopeful subjects, and 5 urgent tasks in reforming liberal arts education. The results are as follows. First, male students were most likely to point out the achievement of core competency as a key goal of liberal arts education. Second, the core competences to be achieved in the liberal arts curriculum were found to place importance on communication and interpersonal relations, character, self-care development and job creation skills. Third, there was a high percentage of people who wanted to open a curriculum in the field of arts and sports. Fourth, liberal arts courses that wish to be opened appeared in the order of women's studies or feminism, sports related subjects, philosophy, and psychology. The results of this study could be used as basic data for the revision of the J University liberal arts curriculum.

A The purpose of this study was to determine the present state of the exercise rehabilitation field, promote elderly sport for all, and present a revitalization program for higher quality of life for the elderly in the coming era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and aged society. Literature review was performed to analyze the actual conditions of the activities for elderly sport for all and the relevant field of exercise rehabilitation, analyze the elderly health and welfare and elderly sport for all programs, and present a plan for revitalizing the field of exercise rehabilitation to promote elderly sport for all. First, it is necessary to reinforce the awareness and promotion of the need and importance of exercise rehabilitation in inducing seniors to participate in sport for all. Second, it is necessary to make it compulsory to place sport leaders for seniors at such places as elderly leisure and welfare centers and promote expertise in managing elderly health guidance efficiently through cooperation with welfare workers. Third, it is necessary to make it compulsory to take exercise rehabilitation and similar subjects in the curriculums of sport for all, elderly sport welfare, and silver welfare sport as well as the subject of volunteering activities at such places as elderly leisure and welfare centers with the aim of giving opportunities for career choice. Fourth, it is necessary to develop characterized exercise rehabilitation programs at senior welfare centers, community centers for the elderly, and elderly classes and employ experts equipped with exercise event and exercise rehabilitation capabilities as itinerant lecturers to contribute to the government's job creation policies through cooperation between the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism (MOCST) and the Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW). Fifth, it is necessary to make a greater investment in research and development required for elderly sport for all. Sixth, it is necessary to develop and distribute various exercise rehabilitation treatment videos and guidelines that seniors can use for themselves. This is associated with the fifth one; in particular, it is urgent to devise measures against Coronavirus 19. Seventh, it is necessary to reduce inefficiency and budget waste caused by overlapped tasks by establishing a new elderly sports promotion organization through adjustment by MOCST and MOHW; it is also necessary to increase the functions of organization establishment with the aim of reinforcing the education area, which involves post-retirement health care, exercise rehabilitation, safety accident prevention, and virus.

The Computer Education in Korea since 2000 mainly were 'how to use computer tools', Computer education from 2005 to emphasize problem-solving and programming, but did not perform well, and In 2010 it was not compulsory computer training. Thus, our country have training elementary and middle school students for computer education without creating a curriculum content of computer. U.S. and UK educate students computer training to foster future generations the essential core competencies to be recognized as a new educational curriculum. In this study, the basic course in computer studies of Korean is proposed as Information Science. Information science subject from middle school to first grade curriculum is consistently able to study was composed. The subarea of information science curriculum computer systems, software production, the fusion activity. The computer system is composed of 18 subdivisions, software production is composed of 11 subdivisions, and fusion activity was composed of 15 subdivisions. The results of the students' school life and social life in the future core competencies necessary to be available to train.
Korea has suffered numerous casualties due to a lot of accidents caused by safety insufficiency in recent years. Therefore, safety education is more important than ever before, and 'how to educate with what contents' is an important subject. Especially, experience education is effective rather than theoretical education because of the nature of safety education. However, it is not easy to design and develop these safety education programs. There is not much opportunity to access first-aid training, which is a part of safety education, unless it is compulsory to learn through public institutions. As a result, program utilization on safety education in Korea is still insufficient to what it should be. With that taken into account, this study proposed an effective serious game with fun and immersion for medical first-aid education. To do this, we analyzed five medical games through 20 cases of first-aid applications and elicited five factors that enhance the usability of serious games. With an analysis of five medical games, we selected one game to borrow the game rules, and applied the elicited five elements in the forms of level-up structure, iterative learning, compensation outcomes, competition system, and information transfer. The proposed medical education functional games should have 1) a character that plays a role of a patient, 2) a narrative flow that shows the situation, 3) the user should judge the situation and induce first aid. 4) compensation, levels, and simple repetition should be designed, and 5) information should be shared with the others in the given community. The results of this study is believed to contribute to enhance the medical emergency education in Korea.

This study explores the characteristics and ways to improve the area of science education in secondary teacher employment test (hereafter, TET). We investigated ways to differentiate second-phase science education tests from those of the first phase in the TET, and ways to improve practical tests such as designing instructional plans, teaching demonstrations, in-depth interviews, and science experiment tests. Major findings of the study include increasing the proportion of teaching demonstration while maintaining the test of designing instructional plans, which have a different focus from the paper-based exam in the first phase of the TET. Teaching demonstration tests, applying the credit of student-teaching to the TET, assessing teaching expertise in real classroom contexts focusing on subject teaching expertise, etc. along with science experiment tests, making the science experiment test compulsory for all municipal offices of education, and the necessity of evaluating the experimental design and teaching of scientific inquiry. Based on these results, developing and implementing tests such as teaching demonstrations, in-depth interviews, etc. at the local municipal education offices, introducing the apprentice teacher system, and introducing graduate schools of education were suggested.
A dental treatment room is always exposed to diverse kinds of pathogenic bacteria, and may be a mediating place of cross-infection given being contaminated the interior of a room through several routes in the form of patient's secretion and aerosol. The main agent of preventing cross-infection is a dental hygienist in the dental treatment and the dental treatment room where are scattered about a risk of cross-infection. A dental hygienist needs to have right recognition on infection control before being active as a clinical expert. This infection-control recognition level is influenced from the clinical practice. Accordingly, to survey recognition of infection control, a self-administered questionnaire research was conducted targeting 314 students who are fixed the clinical practice as regular subject in the junior course out of curriculum for the Department of Dental Hygiene at some of 4-year universities. Data collection was performed from December 9, 2011 to February 22, 2012. Except 11 copies of questionnaire with insincere response among the collected materials, 303 copies were finally analyzed by using SPSS WIN 20.0. The following conclusions were obtained. In the infection disease section, both on and off campus showed 4.89 points from 'the importance of recognizing the infections prevention', 4.65 points from 'recognizing the compulsory preventative injection for hepatitis type B', 4.77 points from 'recognizing the necessity of the preventative injection for hepatitis type B', 4.71 points from 'whether practice the prevention in reality or not', and 4.76 points from 'the educational helps to the prevention'. In other words, the section recorded the highest and meaningful points. It is considered to be needed the development in systematic and diverse infection-control educational programs and the differentiated education depending on school year for dental hygiene students.
At the central level, civil servants concerned with school health were interviewed in order to research the national administrative system of school health. At the level of county, the ledgers concerned at the education office and the schools was reviewed, and the person concerned at them was interviewed, in order to research the present state of local school health management. The policy proposition to improve the administrative system of school health in Korea is as follows. 1) The formal school health activities in districts should be actualized with the funds and the manpower made through realizing local autonomy system. 2) The funds of health center should be able to be used for school health. 3) The important activities of school health that can be actualized without a lot of funds should be chosen and be actualized above all. 4) The formal or informal system among school, health center, and hospital should properly be made. 5) The health engineer of education office or the board of education should be related to health center at school health activities. 6) For the long run, the teacher of health education should teach the subject of health at school. The proposition to improve the management of school health at the level of education office or the board of education is as follows. 1) The formal and informal relation among health center, hospital, and the board of education should be strenthened at the technical and administrative sides. 2) Health center should train the nurse-teachers of school and the health engineers of education office or the board of education. 3) The autonomous health budget of each school should properly be made. 4) The compulsory health budget should properly be made in school education budget. 5) The formal or informal training Course for the nurse-teachers should be practical. The proposition to improve the management of school health at the level of school is as follows. 1) The equipment of nursing room should be used properly, so that the function of nursing room should be revitalized. 2) Nursing room should not be used with other function except nursing function. 3) Oral cavity should be tested when pupils and students undergo physical checkup. 4) The interval of physical checkup at each school should be more than 2 days. And then the pupils and students with abnormal health should be referred to hospital etc.. 5) The misappropriation of the allowance of school doctor should be protected.
