The effect of impulse in the ecological models makes them more realistic. Recently, the eco-epidemiological models have become an important field of study from the both mathematical and ecological view points. In this article, we consider some eco-epidemiological systems under the influence of impulsive force. A set of sufficient conditions for the permanence of the system are derived. Stability of the trivial solution and at least one strictly positive periodic solution are obtained. Numerical examples are given in support to our analytical findings. Finally, a short discussion concludes the paper.

Loran(LOang RAnge Navigation) 신호에 의한 항법은 GPS(Global Positioning System) 활성화 전까지 주요한 항법시스템으로 이용되어 왔다. 특히 선박들 항행하는데 있어서 필수적인 기능을 담당하였다. 그러나 산업의 발전과 더불어 항행 외에 항만 근접과 육상에서의 항법 그리고 정밀시각활용과 같은 분야에서는 지금의 항법정확도 보다 우수한 정확도가 필요하다. 그 정확도를 향상시킬 수 있는 방법은 Loran 송신국과 사용자 위치 사이의 전파지연 즉, ASF (Additional Secondary Factor)를 정확히 측정하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 우리나라에서 방송하는 9930M(포항)과 같이 TOC(Time of Coincidence) 테이블이 없는 방송시스템에서 절대시간 지연을 측정할 수 있는 기법을 개발하였으며, 송신국으로부터 몇 개의 측정지정에서 ASF를 측정한 결과를 제시한다.

A continuous and non-decreasing function ${\psi}$ and another continuous function ${\phi}$ with ${\phi}(z)=0{\Leftrightarrow}z=0$ defined on $\mathbb{C}^+=\{x+yi:x,y{\geq}0\}$ are introduced, the ${\psi}-{\phi}$-contractive or expansive type conditions are considered, and the existence theorems of common fixed points for two mappings defined on a complex valued metric space are obtained. Also, Banach contraction principle and a fixed point theorem for a I-expansive type mapping are given on complex valued metric spaces.

In spite of the fact that the system of oriental medicine still remains in the realm of 'unproven-method of treatment', no one can deny that the oriental medicine is a rich source of idea and motivation for the discovery of new drug from natural sources. However, non-scientific, mystic hypothetical system of oriental medicine refuses to be revealed scientifically. For the purpose of drawing useful parameters for inductive reasoning of the system, a new approach which comprises statistical analyses of prescription was attempted in this study. One hundred and thirty two ginseng-compounds prescription in 'Bang-Yak-Hap-Pyon', one of the most popular formularies of oriental medicine in Korea, were analysed by multivariate analysis technique. The results revealed ginseng from many points of view, e.g., therapeutic indications, dose, and compatibility, etc. Among these, the most striking coincidence with scientific achievements of modern pharmacology, is the fact that the oriental medicine has characterized ginseng already from remote ancient times as neither a specific curative nor an aphrodisiac, but a non-specific adaptogenic drug for general infirmity.

In this paper, we prove some existence and uniqueness results on coincidence points for g-monotone mappings satisfying linear as well as generalized nonlinear contractivity conditions in ordered metric spaces. Our results generalize and extend two classical and well known results due to Ran and Reurings (Proc. Amer. Math. Soc. 132 (2004), no. 5, 1435-1443) and Nieto and $Rodr{\acute{i}}guez$-$L{\acute{o}}pez$ (Acta Math. Sin. 23 (2007), no. 12, 2205-2212) besides similar other ones. Finally, as an application of one of our newly proved results, we establish the existence and uniqueness of solution of a first order periodic boundary value problem.

Large bias errors which occur during a numerical evaluation of the Rayleigh's integral is not due to the replicated source problem but due to the coincidence of singularities of the Green's function and the sampling points in Fourier domain. We found that there is no replicated source problem in evaluating the Rayleigh's integral numerically by the reason of the periodic assumption of the input sequence in Dn or by the periodic sampling of the Green's function in the Fourier domain. The wrap around error is not due to an overlap of the individual adjacent sources but berallse of the undersampling of the Green's function in the frequency domain. The replicated and overlApped one is inverse Fourier transformed Green's function rather than the source function.

This article describes the technology for constructing of a multiply-connected three-dimensional area's finite element representation. Representation of finite-element configuration of an area is described by a discrete set that consist of the number of nodes and elements of the finite-element grid, that are orderly set of nodes' coordinates and numbers of finite elements. Corresponding theorems are given, to prove the correctness of the solution method. The adequacy of multiply-connected area topology's finite element model is shown. The merging of subareas is based on the criterion of boundary nodes' coincidence by establishing a simple hierarchy of volumes, surfaces, lines and points. Renumbering nodes is carried out by the frontal method, where nodes located on the outer edges of the structure are used as the initial front.

Using the belongs to relation ($\in$) and quasi-coincidence with relation (q) between fuzzy points and fuzzy sets, the concept of ($\alpha,\;\beta$)-fuzzy subalgebras where $\alpha,\;\beta$ are any two of $\{{\in},\;q,\;{\in}\;{\vee}\;q,\;{\in}\;{\wedge}\;q\}$ with ${\alpha}\;{\neq}\;{\in}\;{\wedge}\;q$ was introduced, and related properties were investigated in [3]. As a continuation of the paper [3], in this paper, the notion of a fuzzy subalgebra with thresholds is introduced, and its characterizations are obtained. Relations between a fuzzy subalgebra with thresholds and an (${\in},\;{\in}\;{\vee}\;q$)-fuzzy subalgebra are provided.

A general common fixed point theorem for two pairs of weakly compatible mappings using an implicit function is proved without any continuity requirement which generalizes the result due to Popa [20, Theorem 3]. In process, several previously known results due to Fisher, Kannan, Jeong and Rhoades, Imdad and Ali, Imdad and Khan, Khan, Shahzad and others are derived as special cases. Some related results and illustrative examples are also discussed. As an application of our main result, we prove an existence theorem for the solution of simultaneous Hammerstein type integral equations.

This study proposes an essential process of type certificate, which is load comparison for proving the calculated design load. The load measurement was carried out according to IEC 61400-13 standard and the load calculation was performed with same condition using FLEX 5 code. For more accurate load simulation, the controller parameter of original model at the design stage was modified to site optimized value and some node points are added to coincidence with measurement. The load comparison was performed with various wind parameter, turbulence intensity and wind shear. As a result, simulated loads ware good agreed with the measured load. Therefore, the calculated design loads according to IEC 61400-1 standard were proved to valid.
