Many theorists suggest the type of child rearing attitude of parents, Schaefer's theory is commonly accepted. This model divided into 4 types, affectional-automatic attitude, affectional-controling attitude, rejecting-automatic attitude, rejecting-controling attitude. Through this study, confirmed factors that affect child rearing attitude of parents were family social position, parent's age and educational level, child gender. And other factors were mother has a job or not, marriage satisfaction, number of child and etc. Desirable parent's child rearing attitude were parent's consistency, understanding and acceptance of parents, parent's ideal behavior, democratic attitude of parents, parent's love for their children.
The purpose of this study was to identify which of the variables were associated with ineffective parental child-rearing practices and to examine the effects of cumulative risk factors on ineffective child-rearing practices. The subjects for this study consisted of 120 mothers and 120 fathers of two to six year old children attending a university child development laboratories. Self-report questionnaire were used to collect data on the following variables: 1) family backgrojnd characteristics; 2) child temperament; 3) quality of life; 4) social support; 5) intergenerational trasmission of parenting; and 6) parental disciplinary practices. Descriptive analysis, t-test, and chi-square analyses were used for data description and analysis. The major findings were as follows: 1) Mothers who perceived the child as being less emotional, more soothable, and who had higher levels of marital satisfaction and job satisfaction engaged in more effective child-rearing practices. 2) Fathers who perceived the child as being less emotional, and who have boys provided more effective child-rearing practices. 3) For both mothers and fathers, parents with higher levels of quality life, social support, and family income exhibited more effective child-rearing practices. 4) Parents exposed to several risk factors were much more likely to exhibit ineffective child-rearing practices than parents exposed to no risk factors. The focus of this study was finding out the relations among resilience of children separated from parents, child rearing factors and socio-emotional adjustment in Korean and Yanbian Korean-Chinese regions. Subjects were elementary school $5{\sim}6$ graders separated from their parents(184 in Korea and 81 in Yanbian). Data analysis was by Pearson's r, F-test and t-test. Resilience of Korean-Chinese children was higher than that of Korean children. Caregivers' child rearing behavioral factor than other child rearing factors was significant for children's resilience, and especially for Korean children, caregivers' child rearing psychological factor -efficacy and stress variables- were meaningful. Socio-emotional adjustment was significantly different between resilience high and low groups in both regions. Implications are that regional differences, caregivers' psychological and behavioral child rearing factors should be considered in supporting the development of children's resilience and socio-emotional adjustment.

In other words, the study aims at finding out how the variables possessed by father side operate on his child-rearing attitudes according to the sex and birth-order of children. Hence, the study is carried out on the hypothesis that father's variables such as age, education, occupation, religion, etc. show different aspects on child-rearing attitudes by way of a child's sex and birth-order. The results of the study show that the factors that affect father's child-rearing attitudes are child's variables such as sex and birth-order as well as father's variables such as education, occupation and religion. describing these factors I detail, the study shows that father has higher concern on daughter rather than on son; the higher education he has, the higher his concern is; and when father has a white-collar job or is a Christian, he shows higher concern on his children. The above mentioned factors are analyzed and classified as follows by the child-rearing contents: A. The factors which affect father's concern one his children are: 1) sex, 2) father's education and 3) occupation related to the sex and birth-order of children. B. The factors which affect father's participation in child-care are; 1) sex, 2) birth-order, 3) father's education, 4) occupation and 5) religion related to the sex and birth-order. C. The factors which affect father's disciplinary attitudes (Praise or scolding) are ; 1) sex, 2) father's education and 3) religion related to the sex and birth-order. C. The factors which affect father's disciplinary attitudes (praise or scolding) are; 1) sex, 2) father's education related to sex, and 3) sex in terms of negative attitudes. E. Finally, father's age is proved to be a factor that does not give any significance in his child-rearing attitudes.
This study aimed to identify the mediating effects of the child's career maturity on the relationship between mother's child-rearing attitudes and children's school adjustment. In order to achieve our goals, the present study 1) analysed the differences in the mother's child-rearing attitude perceived by child, child's career maturity, and school adjustment according to child's sex, and 2) examined the direct and indirect effects of mother's child-rearing attitude and child's career maturity on school adjustment. A total of 430 $6^{th}$ grade elementary school students living in Gwangju participated in this study. The summary of this study is as follows. First, there were some differences in achievement child-rearing attitude according to child's sex. Boys perceived their mother's child-rearing attitude as more achievement-oriented than girls. Second, child's career maturity mediated the relations between mother's child-rearing attitude perceived by child and their school adjustment. Specifically, the partial mediating effects of career maturity were found in all of the relations between sub-factors of child-rearing attitude(affection, autonomy, achievement, and rationality), and child's career maturity fully mediated the relation between autonomy and peer relationship. The results of this study mean that mother's child-rearing attitudes have both direct and indirect impacts on child's school adjustment and child's career maturity are all very important factors on their school adjustment. The present study suggests that it is necessary to provide diverse career programs to improve child's career maturity.

The subjects were 248 mothers of young children from kindergarten located in Jeonnam and Gwangju provinces in Korea. Data were collected between May to June, 2013. Descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regressions with PASW Statistics 18 (SPSS 18.0) program were used for data analysis. The major findings are summarized as follows: (1) Family resilience was closely related to gratitude and four types of child-rearing attitudes. Gratitude was closely related to four types of child-rearing attitudes. And rejective attitude had significantly negative relations family resilience and gratitude. (2) The significant factors affecting family resilience were mother's education level, gratitude, affective attitude, rejective attitude, autonomous attitude and controlling attitude which explained 63% of the variance.
