The purpose of this research is to investigate various characteristics of the health unit presented in current physical educational curriculum and study a variety of middle school physical education textbooks in the aspect of health education. The conclusions of this research are as follow Acquiring and executing of health knowledge is important in the school health education. Thus, the contents of textbook suitable to the developmental stage of teenager and applicable to future life should be concretely presented in the physical education textbook. The standard of selecting the range of physical education contents should be regulated, and the contents appropriate to standard should be presented in the physical education textbook. We make student utilize the textbook by showing the sample the example of portfolio and self-checklist in the textbook. In the aspect of formation of textbook, scientific and systematic which is appropriate to improving the power of thinking and inquiry should be used in the textbook. In the aspect of format of textbook, application of CD-ROM or video type should be attempted, making the textbook. Moreover, the health education in the physical education textbook should be connected to not only the school health education but the health education in the unit of home and society for the purpose of successful health education.

Optical disk drive has excellent advantage of random accessibility of which performance is measured by access time. However, due to the increased rotational velocity of the disk and constraints of mechanical structure, two-stage seek algorithm which executes coarse and fine seeks sequentially has been adopted in most commercial optical disk drives. Although the laser spot is moved to a target track by a single seek operation, the limited operation range of the fine actuator restricts the application of the fine seek algorithm below a few hundreds of tracks. Especially, excessive movement of the objective lens causes a failure in generation of track-cross pulse and results in an unstable seek operation. In this paper, a new control algorithm for extending the fine seek range is proposed with an appropriate control structure. The coarse actuator is utilized to reduce the misalignment between the objective lens and the laser beam axis, and the fine actuator is controlled to follow the reference velocity trajectory. The proposed algorithm is applied to a CD-ROM drive to show its feasibility and some experimental results are presented.

This study examined teacher perception of the instructional method. activities and material in terms of class quality enhancement. Also this study established instructional method. activities and material application Per 7th Practical Arts Education Course guidance domain. and type identification of the instructional method and activities unique to the Practical arts curriculum. Conclusions : 1. Teachers consider the instructional method and material beneficial. However in the item relevant to application of diverse instructional methods Per specific teaching objective and educational content in the actual classroom. the highest percentage responding. ‘relatively yes’ (39.7%) . balanced out with those answering. ‘no’(37.7%) 2. In linking the instructional method and material to secondary school home economics education, teachers experienced difficulty in teaching only the clothing education domain . 3. In each guidance domain, lecture method, problem-solving learning. cooperative learning. home project learning and functional learning were surveyed for instructional method suitability. Notably, home project learning was identified as a significant instructional method. This result begs in-dept analysis as home project learning may be utilized as a tool to compensate for the absence of practical educational objective condition fulfillment and to substitute for teachers unable to Provide such functional guidance in class. 4. In each guidance domain. role-playing. debate/discussion. case study research, practical exercise and activity reporting were rated as essential teaching ㆍ learning activities. 5. In each guidance domain.‘VCR’, ‘CD-ROM’ and ‘Web media’ were identified as suitable instructional materials .

Computers have become an indispensable part of everyday lives in 21st century. This is particularly true in early childhood education; multimedia use in kindergarten has rapidly grown in the last decade. Although ample research had been done on the issues of teachers' role in multimedia settings and selecting quality materials, few studies have been done on the proper environment for multimedia use in early childhood education. In this regard, this research examines the current status of multimedia use-animated illustration films, CD-ROM titles, and internet-in kindergarten. In addition, computer environment in kindergarten is investigated in order to provide guidelines for appropriate facilities and equipments. For smooth integration of computer activities into a school system, computers are located in ordinary classrooms in more than half of kindergarten in Seoul. Computers are used in independent lab settings in the last of the kindergarten in Seoul and there are four different types of lab settings. Among them computer at perimeter style is preferred for the ease of student-teacher, and student-student interactions. The importance of environment for early childhood education cannot be overestimated. It is so critical for early childhood education that the people in this field regard the environment as 'the third teacher' next to parents and teachers. Therefore the multimedia environment should also be considered seriously for the maximum use in early childhood institutions.

Background: Samul-tang (Si-Wu-Tang, SMT) is a traditional herbal formula, which has been widely used to treat various diseases such as menstrual irregularity, bleeding and leucorrhea. Although many studies have investigated the pharmacological properties of SMT, its toxicity information has not yet been fully elucidated. Methods: Five Sprague Dawley (SD) rats of each sex were given a single dose (5000 mg/kg) of SMT by gavage; control rats received the vehicle only. After the single administration, mortality, clinical signs, body weight changes and gross findings were monitored for 15 days in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) principles. Results: In a single oral dose toxicity study, there was no adverse effect on mortality, clinical sign, body weight change or gross finding in any treatment group. Conclusions: The results indicate that SMT did not induce toxic effects at a dose level up to 5000 mg/kg in rats and its median lethal dose ($LD_{50}$) was considered to be over 5000 mg/kg/day body weight for both genders.

DDC 120년 역사 중 가장 혁신적으로 탄생한 것은 1996년 7월에 발행된 제 21판이다. 21판은 미래 판을 위한 준비뿐만 아니라 현재판에도 지식구조에 적합하도록 고려하였다. 21판에서는 350-354 행정학, 370 교육학 그리고 560-590 생명과학 분야가 집중적 또는 포괄적으로 개정되었다. 특히 21판의 주요 특징은 인용자의 편의성에 주안을 두었으며, 많은 부분의 조정, 기호법에서의 다양한 패싯의 적용, 전문용어의 쇄신, 국제적 요구의 수용 및 협력개발의 강화 그리고 데이터베이스에서의 변화 등이 두드러진 특징이며 전자배포도 주요 변화중 하나이다. 특히 21판은 인쇄본과 CD-ROM 윈도우판의 두 개의 포맷을 가지고 탄생하여 온라인환경에 대처하도록 구현하였다.

This paper intends to investigate the effects of speed fluctuation caused by the cogging torque in permanent magnetic motors on the stability of the transverse vibration for a spinning disk. Based on the Kirchhoff\`s plate theory and the assumed mode methods, a set of discretized equations of motion were derived for an annular disk rotating with a harmonically varying speed. Then, a perturbation method using the multiple time scales was employed and stability boundaries were determined explicitly in terms of the magnitude and frequency of speed fluctuation, a nominal sped and the modal characteristics of the disk. It is found that parametric resonance occurs at several speed ranges and a single mode or a combination of two modes are involved to cause instability. It is also observed that unstable regions become broadened as the spinning speed increases or two modes are combined in parametric instability. As numerical simulations, stability analysis of a conventional CD-ROM drive was performed. Results of this work can e used as guidelines for motor design and operations with low vibration.

This study shows that digital technology is adapted practical method in fashion design process and virtual simulation and cyber fashion gallery based on virtual reality are researched. This study is proposed the 3D fashion design simulation in the virtual space used on 3D studio max, poser, photoshop program according to fashion design process. The main design concept is "temporary bridge" from rainbow. This study is supposed six fashion design in accordance with three sub-theme under main concept by changing color and texture used on 3D simulation. The results of this study are as follows: 1. This study produced Cyber Fashion Gallery in virtual space to the form of CD Rom title and web title by Macromedia Director 8.5, Macromedia Flash, Sound Forge. And it is enlarged the field of expression in aspect of Fashion Exhibition, beyond restriction of time and space. 2. Clothes modelling tools is able to easily adapt to various textiles and patterns in 3D dynamic virtual mannequin before making clothes. Digital technology is able to express image changed color and texture, especially new material, multi-finishing material and brilliant material and so on. So this study is able to develop tools for study of fashion coordination. 3. Cyber Fashion Gallery consists of gallery, story, painting, symbolism, example, image, quit. This study is enlarged the range of clothing expression by digital technology and open to possibility customized-manufacture.

정보검색의 성공여부는 적절한 검색어의 선정에 달려있다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 특히 CD-ROM이나 온라인목록시스템에서 주제검색시 분류표, 주제명과 같은 통제어와 자연어 등 비통제어의 비교 우위 문제는 아직도 논란이 되고 있다. 본고는 두 시스템의 검색효율성을 비교하기 위하여 특히 다언어 환경하에서의 검색어 사용에 중점을 두고 다양한 형태의 검색어휘를 조사 분석하였다.

This study put emphasis on improving the quality of lives of the elementary students with disabilities by planning and realizing software for the purpose of teaching eating habits. It tried to develop software which constantly applies and practices contents learned from content systems subordinate to practical subjects. It is mainly consisted of 'cooking and eating' among the content systems of the practical subjects in the basic curriculum. To this end, it chose four modules as their final choices, 'eating various foods, cooking happily, setting the table, and washing the dishes.' Media is in CD-ROM Title form. Macromedia Flash and Macromedia Director were used as authoring tools. Program is basically going along centering on small units. And activities in each topic are composed of thinking, investigating, and organizing order. When we applied the software, developed in this research, to 3 elementary students with disabilities using multiple probe design across subjects, it had positive effects on eating habits related functions of all participants.
