국내특허DB의 특징 및 장단점 비교 분석 - 목적에 맞는 국내 특허 DB의 검색

  • 이제 국내에서도 특허 DB의 대부분이 온라인으로 되어 그 검색이 용이해졌다. 현재 특허 DB를 제공하고 있는 곳은 7군데 가량 되며 각 기관이 보유하고 있는 특허 자료의 수록 기간과 수록 항목, 또한 검색 가능한 항목이 차이가 있으면 또한 검색 비용에서도 많은 차이를 보이고 있다. 국내 특허 정보의 검색시 번호조회와 같이 특허정보를 출원번호나 분류등의 서지사항으로 검색이 가능한 것과 권리나 기술에 관한 주제 검색의 경우와 같이 보다 복잡한 검색을 필요로 하고 전문적인 특허에 대한 지식을 필요로 하는 경우가 있다. 또한 특정 기술에 대한 최신 동향 조사는 온라인을 통하여 방대한 자료를 입수하는 것보다 관련 특허 CD-ROM을 통하여 조사하는 것이 효과적일 것이다. 따라서 본고에서는 현재 국내에서 국내 특허 DB를 검색할 수 있는 DB를 선택하여 각각의 특징 및 장단점을 비교 분석함으로써 실제 검색할 때 어떤 목적으로 어떤 결과를 원하느냐에 따라 적절한 DB의 선택에 도움을 주고자 한다.

  • 오늘날 임베디드 시스템은 우리들의 생활에 커다란 변화를 가져왔으며, 많은 적용분야와 다양한 기능을 갖추고 있어서 직장 생활 및 여가 생활 등에서 널리 사용되고 있다. 임베디드 시스템에 적용되는 운영체제는 높은 신뢰성과 빠른 수행속도, 적은 메모리를 특징으로 하는 실시간 운영체제(RTOS)이며, 임베디드 환경에서 저장장치를 관리하기 위한 파일 시스템은 필수 요구 조건이 되고 있다. 파일 시스템은 프로그래머가 시스템 내부의 저장장치나 네트워크상의 저장장치에 효율적인 접근을 할 수 있도록 해주며, 이러한 저장장치들로는 CD-ROM, 플로피 디스크, 하드디스크, 플래시 메모리 등이 있는데, 이러한 현존하는 많은 파일 시스템을 통할 관리할 수 있는 가상 파일 시스템(Virtual File System . VFS)을 필요로 하게 되었다 본 논문에서는 실시간 운영체제와 함께 동작하는 가상 파일 시스템을 설계하고 구현하는 방법을 제시한다.

  • 전자책이란 저작물의 내용을 디지털 데이터로 CD-ROM, DVD 등 기록매체 또는 저장장치에 수록, 유·무선 통신망을 통해 전용 단말기나 컴퓨터로 이용할 수 있는 출판물을 의미한다. 전자책은 다양한 형태로(HTML, PDF, XML) 제작돼 표준이 없어 별도의 단말기를 개발 보급해야하는 문제와 함께 전자책 산업의 중복투자를 발생시켜 활성화에 어려움을 겪어왔다. 2002년 산업자원부 기술표준원은 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 상호운용성 등이 뛰어난 XML에 기반한 전자책 문서 표준(EBKS 1.0)안을 국가표준으로 제정하였다. 교육인적자원부에서도 2002년 '교과용 도서에 관한 규정' 을 개정, 주교재와 보완교재의 구분을 폐지해 음반이나 영상, 전자저작물 등을 활용한 전자교과서 및 지도서를 제작할 수 있도록 했다. 이러한 시대흐름에 발맞추어 본 연구에서는 XML Schema를 활용한 중학교 컴퓨터 과목의 전자교과서 문서 표준을 개발해 보고자 한다. EBKS를 비롯한 기존 연구의 대부분은 XML DTD를 이용한 표준 개발이 중심이었으나 DTD가 가진 제한점들로 인해 이미 XML Schema의 사용이 권고되고 있다.

  • Many computer system; (or program;) have been desigoc>d without taking their users needs into accOlmt To provide a practical and comprehensive introduction to the design and development of user interfaces, desigrer (or developer) is suggested to analyze and evaluate requirements from the view point of users and to design more effective program;. The su~ect of this thesis is to analyze and criticize tre details of Wonder-land, that is a demo multimedia ill-ROM title, in respect to User Interface Design and Development. By applying the coocepts, teclmiques and ideas to a real life study and analyzing and criticizing it from the view point of users, desigrer lets the program revised and developed by users. For User Interface Design and Development purposes this tresis analyzes and criticize the characteristics of the program already made, the current user interface design, mental models and users learning about the program. As a result it is founded that the program requires to be analyzing and criticizing continuously from a cognitive point of view to design and develop it successfully.

  • For several decades in history of cartoon, it was about the era of publishing tendency based on printing technique just until few years before now. The media critic Marshall McLuhan said, "The cartoon of the 20th century have characters of printing or woodblock printing yet. Coming in to the 1980s, unlike traditional printing, cartoons of more various form appeared such as 'Moving cartoon, CD-ROM cartoon, Click-cartoon'. These phenomenons diversified and accelerated during the electronic equipments and internet that cartoon were able to be produced and distributed on not printing forms were progressing and popularizing. Like these, base on the progress of various forms in webtoon, this study will suggest 3 concept about expansion of Spatial Expressions of expression and cognition such as 'Reminiscent of The Vertical Image', 'The Vertical Panorama' and 'The Morphing into Spaces'. Also, , , the works of Doha Kang who is in the spotlight as the webtoonist of avant-garde and dynamic works, will be examined and analysed as the texts. Doha Kang was selectied as a 'Contemporary Twenty Webtoonist in Korea' from a survey of the cartoon's experts in korea by Bucheon Cartoon Information Center in 2009. He has recognized as the most experimental and be influential webtoonist from beginning of webtoon era to today. In this context, the analyses of his two works that was published in 2007, 2009 each, will helps understanding from diverse viewpoint about webtoon's expressions and structures. Furthermore, this study helps focus on values of webtoon as expansion art of Spatial Expression.

Continuing Education for the Library and Information Professionals : Present Situation and Need Assessment (문헌정보전문직을 위한 계속교육에 관한 연구 : 현황과 요구분석)

  • To investigate the present states and analyze the need of continuing education, a survey was done to the library and information professionals. Based on the personal membership file of the Korean Library Association, 292 members were selected using $25\%$ systematic sampling method. Questionnaires were mailed to them and $80\%$ returned. Of the total respondents. $90\%$ want to participate continuing education, however only $50\%$have a formal continuing education experience during last 3 years. Informal educational efforts are also weak and show much individual differences. $67\%$ of the libraries encourage continuing education but only $25\%$ of the respondents were provided with time and money for participation. The most favored mode of the continuing education Is one week course specialized In particular topic$(31.1\%)$ or area$(25.5\%)$. New methods, such as CD-ROM. online etc. were also preferred. Respondents regard professional association, society, and the library Information science department of university as desirable leading organization for continuing education. Among the 16 possible topics to be educated, respondents showed substantially higher Interest(more than $50\%$) In 5topics, and there were significant need differences In 7 topics among groups divided by library type.

A Study on Application of Resource Types of RDA to KCR4 (RDA 자원유형의 KCR4 적용에 관한 연구)

  • This study is to seek to apply resource types of RDA to KCR4. It is difficult to choose appropriate term and to embody FRBR model because GMD of KCR4 is the mixture of content-based vocabularies and carrier-based vocabularies. SMD is to need to reflect the current technological terms. Resource type of RDA was already developed to overcome limitation of AACR2's GMD, and would affect the world cataloging environment, therefore it is need to apply resource type of RDA to Korean cataloging rule. For this study, case study and survey were used. In case study, it was to scan all GMD term for one university library to build by programming and to grape librarian and users' potential need. In the survey by cataloging librarian, it was to figure out the current description of resource type in university library and to test RDA resource type. As a result, it was needed to revise the vocabulary to the obvious and user-understandable list. Also it was different in correction rate in RDA testing by resource type. Based on the case study and the survey, RDA resource type was applied to KCR4 resource list by adding term such as computer game in content type, and by inserting terms such as DVD, CD-ROM, Blu-Ray, computer file in carrier type. It also applied RDA description method and display means to KCR4. This study would apply RDA resource type to KCR4 and contribute to revise KCR4 resource type.

  • It was essential to develop the DB-type teaching and teaming material for geography instruction using a method of ICT. The DB-type teaching and learning material was considered as a alternative in solving the problems of web-based geography instruction. Accordingly, in this study, the geography image DB program as developed, and based on this program the CD-ROM called GEO-DB, having the function of electronic dictionary of geography image for geography teaching and teaming was made. The GEO-DB was composed of 3,060 geography images collected by teachers and learners. The GEO-DB was made to be used simply by teachers and learners. Especially, the portfolio function was Included in the GEO-DB, and that was focused to the instructional system design of teacher and the self-directed teaming ability development of learner. Teachers and learners using this GEO-DB assessed that because the GEO-DB had the easiness of use, the speed of reference and the unlimitedness of extension, it could enlarge the possibility of using a method of In, and it could contribute to the development of geography teaming ability and the change of geography teaming attitude.

  • The production and application of multimedia by domain in accordance with an infant level on the educational spot are some what insufficient to satisfy and difficult to be connected with class activities. Therefore, This essay proposes a way that it products educational program in accordance with a child level using ToolBook II and applies to class activities directly so that the infants can promote learning achievement. The embodied program is to be classified into six domains, a letter world, a figure world, a colorful world, a nursery rhyme world, a nursery tale world and internet site, on the basis of the play domain of infant education course. It is different from the existing CD ROM Title for young children by subject. The program is appropriately applied close multimedia factor for infants, such as images and sounds in order to stimulate their hearing and vision because it is programmed just for young children. And also, it is made up to be able to be applied without suing letters because they are unaccustomed to letter. After it have been applied to infants, A Rating-measure method is chosen in the course of an evaluation. Consequently, It shows that, a letter world, a figure world and a colorful world of each domain have an efficient learning effect and also at the ages of 5~7, 7 year-old infants have the best efficient learning effect.
