Since 1990s, many companies or enterprises have been interested in Career Development or Career Management of Personnel in Korea. In the result of those interesting, some companies developed or built a program or computer system on Career Development or Career Management for their personnel. But their systems or programs are just the level to mange what kind of on-the-job training taken, ones experience where he or she worked, one who has a certificate of qualification ring a position and etc. This is not fit the field of construction industry and is not sufficient to mange workers at a construction company and their career. Because a construction project success depends on ones ability including know-how, skill and experience and these dependence is higher than any other industry's projects. The level of management on the career of construction company's personnel should be lower and expended than now and the career management of a construction company should include individual experience and personal history(period attained a project or a work, what kind of project or work, and etc)attained in performing each construction project and show ones career development process to each person. This system gives participants a chance to educate oneself and evaluate the level of ones training by showing individual records to each member of staff. And the company gains the advantage of the staffs ability to easily solve problems as well as the improvement of the organizations capabilities.

This paper empirically examines various personal characteristics and preferences of HRM (Human Resorce Mamagement) systems using data from 968 R&D professionals in 9 private R&D organizations. It identifies different patterns of reward and career development needs associated with 4 types of R&D professionals, who are categorized by personal characteristics: personality and attitude. A productive leader type shows active personal traits (which encompass high scores of need for achievement, risk-taking propensity, tolerance for ambiguity, and self-efficacy) and positive attitudes (which include high scores of job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and low scores of turnover intention), while a cynical bystander type exhibits passive personal traits and negative attitudes toward a job. A passive adapter, who has passive personal characteristics but positive attitudes, and a frustrated champion, who is active in personality but negative in current job attitude, lie in between them. The results reveal that: 1) These four different types of R&D professionals show differences in their education, age and tenure level, and technical performance. 2) They have different career orientations and problem solving styles. 3) They also exhibit different preferences in performance appraisal criteria and rater, and reward structures. Based on these findings, this study suggests a contingent type of human resource management in terms of selection and staffing of R&D professionals, performance appraisal, incentive systems, and career development plans.

This study is to investigate empirically the turnover awareness of key member working in Research & Development Division in high technology electronic R&D institute. Through the analysis of 106 questionnaires and individual depth interview with key member who is evaluated as core researcher and developer in their working project or has good results in the last 2-3 years, this study obtains the practical informations on the understandings of their professional consciousness and extend of turnover awareness etc. The findings are as follows. Two-thirds of the researcher has the mind of turnover to improve job stability and develop their career. They have an self-awareness that they are key member as a core competent person in working project and their organization, but are dissatisfied with the underestimation of their performances that are not recognized by the organization as they expected level. And the result indicates that many of them haven't find their visions in their organization.
The free semester system, introduced on a trial basis in 2013, has been fully implemented in all middle schools since 2016. The free semester system for middle school students is divided into subject activities and free semester activities with the purpose of students' dream and career exploration. While the activities of various vocational groups linked to subjects during the free semester are discussed, studies on the industrial security career education in middle schools are hard to find. In addition, the career sites that provide diverse information on career path for teachers, students and parents with support from the Ministry of Education have not established any program regarding industrial security. This study aims to look at the status of career education by the analysis of keywords for industrial security in the career experience network currently operated by the Ministry of Education and in-depth interview with career education teachers, students and parents, and industrial security experts. Based on such analysis, this study attempts to figure out a comprehensive understanding of the free semester system and to explore strategies for promoting industrial security education. The results of this study found that the activation plan for industrial security education requires the industry security education through career network, development of industrial security education program, training and placement of professional industrial security lecturer, and establishment of support systems for experience in industrial security.

In this study, we developed career guidance guidelines in order to support professors in guiding the career development of female students in engineering programs. Focus Group Interview (FGI) was conducted by a group of experts composed of 7 professors at the department of computer engineering in order to identify the current status and draw guidelines. It was found that the female students of engineering college were required to improve their efficacy, strengthen their major competency, improve their practical job competency, cultivate basic competency, and provide guidance on specific employment information. Then, we suggested the five elements of each grade and checklists focusing on five elements and proposed the forms so that they can be easily utilized in actual career guidance. At two expert meetings, the validity of the guidelines and the forms were verified and revised. Finally, we suggested a way to streamline the application of these guidelines.

The purpose of this study is to investigate what items are needed for reemployment according to the life cycle of women and to provide basic data to address the career discontinuity of women. The study selected five women currently unemployed living in Daejeon who were taking classes related to entrepreneurship at the Cultural Center and the Women Resource Development Center. The data collection period was from October to December, 2017, and collected from in depth interviews. An open-ended interview was used to explore the content of the interview process. The results of the study are as follows: Support policies for women with career disruptions should, above all, be given priority over career support to ensure that currently employed women do not quit their jobs due to marriage, childbirth or childcare. In addition, there is a need to improve the relevant systems and to implement vocational education and training programs so that women with career discontinuity can reenter the labor market. To do this, it is necessary to establish and support career planning in order to understand the effects of women's lifecycles and to support women's economic activity.
This paper attempts to develop a framework for interrelationships among human resources information systems (HRIS), outsourcing, and corporate culture. This research investigates impacts of outsourcing HRIS on corporate culture. In this paper, we hypothesize that outsourcing corporate HRIS is less appealing (1) if the quality of product and customer service matters for a firm, (2) if a firm is concerned with a loss of intellectual property, and (3) if a firm requires maintenance of a distinctive human resource service function that is capable of meeting the challenges of fast changing customer demands in a dynamic business environment. In addition, this study argues companies must be aware of the total costs associated with HRIS before outsourcing its human resource functions. Finally, the impact on employee morale and performance must also be considered By outsourcing HRIS, managers will be able to spend more time and resources dedicated to an employee's professional career development.

Objectives: This study assessed the status of domestic industrial hygiene laboratories using data from on-site investigation for revision of quality control systems in 2012-2013. Methods: The target laboratories were 60 industrial hygiene laboratories chosen by random selection and nationwide distribution which had participated in on-site investigations for revision of quality control systems from March 2012 to August 2013. The investigation was performed on-site following standard quality control procedures. The score between each group was compared using Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis tests, and the correlation between analytical career, sex, academic major of analyst and score of analytical performance was expressed as Spearman's rank correlation coefficient. Results: The assessment revealed that the items to be improved, in sequence, were effort at staff training (score 65.5), ability to calculate data (score 73.4), establishment of internal quality control guidelines (score 75.7), laboratory facilities (score 77.1), degree of understanding and skill at gas chromatography (score 77.1). Analysis performance showed a positive correlation with career of analyst (r=0.56, p<0.01). Conclusions: The practice of on-site investigation for quality control systems showed the current status of industrial hygiene laboratories in the first trial. There were many laboratories which needed improvement and development of analytical systems. This assessment can provide information for the systematic operation and improvement of facilities at each laboratory. Further practice of this investigation will lead to a proficiency testing and accreditation system for autonomous quality control as is the practice in many countries, rather than mandatory practice by legal regulation.
As the modern society is called the narcissistic society, the narcissism is widespread in the personality of individuals and the society at large. In consideration of this side, this study explored for several characteristics of the narcissistic personality and the job stress, and explored for the relationships between the two things theoretically. The narcissism is an attempt to repair self-esteem weakened by the splitting anxiety, the lack and the pathological fusion of self-structure. The job stress is a factor that a characteristic of the job influenced on the behavioral and affective response of the person on the job directly or indirectly. This study selected organizational justices, organizational constraints, role conflict, role ambiguity, role overload, organizational climate, interpersonal relations and career development as factors of the job stress. This study viewed that the stress is made from an interaction between environmental stimulus and personal particular reaction by defining the stress as an interaction model of stimulus-response and personal reaction is caused by psychological adjustment process, personal differences. On this occasion, this study discussed that the narcissistic personality is easy to get stress and weak in the job stress with regarding the personality as a mediation variation of psychological process. As a result, the narcissists estimated themselves positively and their self-esteem is high, but they excessively showed a self biased cognitive and affective response about the negative feedback to protect themselves. Moreover, this positive estimate on themselves and high self-esteem was vulnerable and weak in the self threat. In this view, the narcissistic personality is easy to get more job stress such as organizational justices, organizational constraints, role conflict, role ambiguity, role overload, organizational climate, interpersonal relations and career development.

They provide to constructive infra and human resource management should be develop as well as supported to knowledge based employee in socially responsible management. Finally, new labor relations culture' practice can effort the growth to improve upgrading strategy the sound labor-manager.
