The word of U-City means next generation information city. U-City mixes both high technology information infrastructure and ubiquitous information in city to improve easy life in city, quality of life, personal security in city life, and well-fare service and to make business in new area. To provide information and joy of life to citizen in U-city, we will design U-Booth among IT infrastructure solutions. In this article, we will study designing city-type U-Booth and summarize designing point of U-Booth in terms of the specific place. At last, we want to say about the role of U-Booth in U-city. In this article, we want to study designing point of U-Booth and important parts in terms of the specific place of U-Booth.

A low-power bypassing Booth multiplier for mobile multimedia applications is proposed. The bypassing structure directly transfers input values to outputs without switching the internal nodes of a multiplier, enabling low-power design. The proposed Booth multiplier adopts the bypassing structure while the bypassing is usually adopted in the Braun multipliers. Simulation results show the proposed Booth multiplier achieves an 11% reduction in terms of the proposed FoM compared to prior works.

Simulation study has been carried out to analyze the air flow supplying from the heat pump system inside the tollgate booth by using the Phoenix computer simulation program. Through this simulation analysis we can find the problem of present tollgate booth in terms of air flow and recommend an improved model also simulate this model. Final results as follows; It was turned out that the fresh air conditioning is not provided to the worker effectively due to the improper location of inlet and outlet in the present tollgate booth in addition to that the air curtain system applied in the booth lowered air circulation from outside. The improved model was suggested first to increase the air curtain effect by downsizing the window and by installation of the air curtain suction line to reduce the induced outdoor air second to supply the fresh air to the worker directly by relocation of the inlet and outlet of supplying air. With these improved modifications better results have been reached in terms of air flow inside the booth. Next through the air flow simulation of outside booth the contaminated outdoor air has been easuily infiltrating into the booth through the window because of its rectangle shape. Stream like shape of booth has been proposed through the computer simulation as an alternative shape of tollgate booth for a new design.

The aim of this study is to establish the actual conditions of the exhibition's facilities, especially on the focus of the exhibition booth. In general, exhibition booths are perfectly advanced on time. So, we surveyed on 14 convention center which each province has one or two in nation, and then analysed types of exhibition focused on booth type. Second survey of exhibition of booth exhibition in COEX. We find that the present system of the booth's design, however, neither meets this qualification nor has the standard one. And they also have no recycling and reusing of it. Therefore, our study makes a suggestion that the present booth system will be replaced with new one. The conclusion of this study is as follow; firstly, the booth of iron system which has standardization, but it needs to prove design. and the booth of wood system which has various design, to prove standardization. Secondly, mixed booth of iron and wood system that is able to require from users will be designed as soon. Finally, there are several types of exhibition booth that have a flexibility as follows; rectangle system, triangle system, and freely system.

This paper presents an error compensation method for a fixed-width modified Booth multiplier that receives a W-bit input and produces a W-bit product. To efficiently compensate for the quantization error, Booth encoder outputs (not multiplier coefficients) are used for the generation of error compensation bias. The truncated bits are divided into two groups depending upon their effects on the quantization error. Then, different error compensation methods are applied to each group. By simulations, it is shown that quantization error can be reduced up to 50% by the proposed error compensation method compared with the existing method with approximately the same hardware overhead in the bias generation circuit. It is also shown that the proposed method leads to up to 40% reduction in area and power consumption of a multiplier compared with the ideal multiplier.

This paper describes an efficient error-compensation technique for designing a low-error truncated Booth multiplier which produces an N-bit output from a two's complement multiplication of two N bit inputs by eliminating the N least-significant bits. Applying the proposed method, a truncated Booth multiplier for area-efficient and low-power applications has been designed, and its performance(truncation error, area) was analyzed. Since the truncated Booth multiplier does not have about half the partial product generators and adders, it results an area reduction of about 35%, compared with no-truncated parallel multipliers. Error analysis shows that the proposed approach reduces the average truncation error by approximately 60%, compared with conventional methods. A 16-b$\times$16-b truncated Booth multiplier core is designed on full-custom style using 0.35-${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ CMOS technology. It has 3,000 transistors on an area of 330-${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$$\times$262-${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ and 20-㎽ power dissipation at 3.3-V supply with 200-MHz operating frequency.

The motor show is the most popular show in domestic exhibitions. It provides many interesting events and exhibition programs from small parts of the car to luxury sedans. It should be spatially designed for not only display programs but also various other programs such as concerts or events. And it needs to approach strategic and complex plans for unique stand design because of a great number of visitors' safety and accomodation, and competition with other companies. S motor is the company of middle standing, producing the most luxurious sedans and SUVs. I had to find a display and space composition way to harmonize with luxurious sedans and outdoor vehicles in a booth. The booth had to be distinctive and unique inspite of relatively small and handicaped area compared with other companies' booths. So I designed two major plans; ceiling structure covered whole booth space and office space for staff. These plans could get completely majesty and unique design for booth, events and other programs. And the structure of booth was minimalized for visitors' safety and accomodation in great event time.
This research studies the effects of pre-show promotion, at-show promotion, and booth staff training on the image-building and relationship improvement performance of exhibitors. To this purpose, we relate each performance dimension to tactical variables such as pre show promotion, at-show promotion, and booth staff training through related literature review and conduct empirical study on their relationship. The results of this study are as follows: (1) Pre-show promotion and booth staff training have positive influence on image-building and relationship improvement performance. (2) But, at-show promotion has no effect on image-building performance, and has a negative effect on relationship improvement performance. (3) Especially, pre-show promotion has the greatest effect on relationship improvement performance, and booth staff training has the greatest effect on image-building improvement.

This paper proposes the high-performance pipeline architecture for modified Booth multipliers. The proposed multiplier circuits are based on modified Booth algorithm and pipeline architecture which are the most widely used techniques to accelerate the multiplication speed. In order to implement the optimally pipelined multipliers, many kinds of experiments have been conducted. The experimental results show that the speed improvement gain exceeds the area penalty and this trend is manifested as the number of pipeline stages increases. It is also important to insert the pipeline registers at the proper positions. We described the proposed modified Booth multiplier circuits in Verilog HDL and synthesized the gate-level circuits using 0.13um standard cell library. The resultant multiplier circuits show better performance than others. Since they operate at GHz ranges, they can be used in the application systems requiring extremely high performance such as optical communication systems.
