  • Hot-rolled steel plates of SPHC and SS400 were oxidized at 600, 750 and $900^{\circ}C$ for 2 hr in air. With an increase in the oxidation temperature, their oxidation rates increased, and this was accompanied by the formation of pores and cracks in the thickened oxide scales, which were non-adherent. SPHC steels manufactured by either an arc furnace or a blast furnace displayed similar oxidation rates, indicating that their oxidation rates were insensitive to the manufacturing process. Medium-carbon SS400 steel displayed somewhat faster oxidation rates than low-carbon SS400 steel, indicating that the carbon content did not significantly influence the oxidation rates.

  • Natural stone causes environmental pollution when it is collected and processed. Also, it is hard to make consistent products. Therefore, this study focuses on the artificial stone with waste porcelain to replace natural stone. The flexural strength and compressive strength are lower according to the replacement ratio of blast furnace slag in the result of experiment.

  • Blast Furnace Slag Powder is potential hydration material, then that is well known to evidently inferior early strength, in fact because of feeble solidify. So this experience is that Blast Furnace Slag Powder as 4000, 6000, 8000$\textrm{cm}^2$/g of blain as 15, 35% of replacement ratio, SO3 is maxed as 0.5, 1.0% of binder ratio for intention to increase of strength.

  • Application of Blast Furnace Slag Powder in concrete as brisk in the world, and study in it is progressing in korea at most recent.   • Recently, the use of the underwater concrete constructions with the antiwashout underwater concrete is increasing. In this study, we investigate the properties of pH, suspended solids, slump flow, box test, air contents of fresh antiwashout underwater concrete and the Unit weight, compressive strength of hardened antiwashout underwater concrete which Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag contents 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 50%, 60% at 7days and 28days age which is produced and cured in the water and sea water. As a result, Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag contents 30% was excellent.

  • This study was performed to verify the effect of workability in construction site using by high strength concrete with granulated blast furnace slag. For the satisfaction of the target strength, the optimized mixing ratio was drawn from the replacement ratio of granulated blast furnace slag and fly-ash. Results from the experiment and the application showed the outstanding quality of concrete and the effects of cost-down.

  • Surface glossing and physical properties of exposed concrete varied with blast furnace slag content are dsicussed in this paper. According to experimental results, as the content of blast furnace slag increases, concrete gains high strength moderately at later stage and surface glossing increase. It shows that glossing decrease with age. Surface glossing shows high as W/B decreases and surface coating is applied. Concrete according to form type shows good results in surface glossing in order for acryl form, fancy form and steel form.

  • Paper sludge ash was assured as material of a sort of pozzolan. For the reason of fluidity decrease caused by the strong absorption of paper stooge ash and the decrease of compressive strength in case of using over30% replacement by the weight of cement, paper sludge ash is not suitable for blending material. Therefore, it is necessary to find proper replacement ratios between paper sludge and blast furnace slag to insure compressive compensation and appropriate slump. Accordingly, as varied the blending ratios of paper sludge and blast furnace slag, testing mortar was made. This study was aimed to investigate the possibility of using blending replacement of paper sludge ash and blast furnace slag throughout compressive test, flow test, SEM(Scanning Eletron Microscope), MIP(Mercury Intrusion Porosity test), and TG-DTA(Thermal analysis).
