The purpose of this paper is to classify fashion and trend, and examine how his fashionable philosophy reflects design. What affects his fashion philosophy is Western culture and Paris Revolution. Taking this opportunity, he outgrew the concept of haute couture and established specific fashion philosophy. His fashion philosophy is classified under consideration for women, respect for free emotions, recognition of tradition, and an active intercourse with many people. The characteristics of design through his philosophy are as following: 1. He wanted to release women from clothing restrained the body and make comfortable clothing which everyone can wear. This implies the consideration for women. It is the characteristics of his design to the harmony of functionality, simplicity, decoration and popularity. 2. He respected the free emotions and induced people to wear each parts of clothing which is dismantled freely within the limits coincided with clothing teleology-'wear', It implies autonomy. He also unfolded experimental design: gives the regular space between the clothing and the body and then distorts the body or maximizes modeling. It implies the beauty of space. 3. He elicited the modern design through recognition of tradition. It implies contemporaneousness. 4, As he thought that all of the concepts is based on human, he derived inspiration firm an active intercourse with many people, He established a new style through an active intercourse with artists because if he works alone, he would rise above the popular trend, It comes to the gest artist serieE and implies popularity, The characteristics of design in his fashion philosophy is classified into experimental design and practical design. But the important factor of his fashion philosophy is popularity so he would like to make popular clothing. He designs clothing which fit the public. It results from his firm fashion philosophy that his clothing is practical and decorative and he establishes his works meeting needs of modern. It is the reason that his clothing has perpetuity.

Purpose: Authors tried to analyze the influence of individual facial aesthetic subunits on the cognition of facial attractiveness in public and suggest a mathematical model which explain the facial attractiveness. Methods: Independent facial aesthetic subunits are extracted from facial photographs from three women (11 frontal and 7 lateral aesthetic subunits). Each facial subunits of three women are rated in terms of relative rank by 164 peoples (68 man and 96 woman, average age was 32.4, and ranged ${\pm}$ 9.8 years). $x^2$-test and categorical regression analysis were performed. Results: There was no difference in the aesthetic preference in terms of ages or sexes in large. Beautification of individual aesthetic subunits can predict the overall facial attractiveness up to 42.1% in frontal face (Adjusted $R^2$=0.421, F=6.39, p=0.000 < 0.05) and 22.7% in lateral face (Adjusted $R^2$=0.227, F=4.42, p=0.000 < 0.05). Aesthetic appearance of eyes (p=0.001), upper face (p=0.034) in frontal face and midface (p=0.000) in lateral face are statistically important factors in the cognition of facial attractiveness. Conclusion: Authors experimently proved that harmony and balance among facial aesthetic subunits are the most important factors, in embarking on facial aesthetic plastic surgery, for better enhancement of facial attractiveness.

Maintaining our tradition makes us have pride for our nation and plays important role for recognition and establishment of identity for our unique culture in the world. Contrast to the western scientific technique, the scientific technique of Silla Bell absorbed in the life of our nation is the fruit of wisdom science found through rich life and experience by harmony between our nation and nature. Today, ideological backgrounds for many cultural heritages weren't be found and there are many overflowing hypothesis. Silla Bell is the plastic art including cumulative utopia of the racial spirit. So there would be the information of the racial spirit including symbolization, artistry, creativity, and historicity. However, unlikely with the words, it is the profoundly concentrated shape, so the meaning can be diluted or distorted in later generation. The efforts to figure out the symbolization in Korean bells, especially Silla bell according to its exclusive shape, but no hypothesis was accepted as an established theory of academia by gaining extensive agreements. Thus this paper traces the symbolic meaning accumulated in the shape and prepares for the theoretical background accessing to the artistic spirit of forebears who created super-humanity formativeness. Also regarding the Silla bell which is regarded as the best Buddhist metal craft that people believe they can be free from the anguish at the time of listening to its sound, we studied the symbolization of the bell as the religious ritual custom as well as the possibility to utilize the bell as a motif of living art in the aspect of formative expression.

This study aimed to contribute to the development of various female fashion designs by reviewing the genderless styles in androgynous trends that have loomed large in women's fashion, as well as through analyzing and organizing the changes in women's fashion that were required in a society in which various values coexist. A literature review was conducted to identify the genderless concepts, through which a total of 1,273 materials were selected from 10 brands of the S/S collections, during the period of 2006~2016. The results were as follows: first, without the juxtaposition of incongruous objects or images and a fixed type of color arrangements, the compromise shown in women's fashion were mostly expressed through various tones and diverse colors, and with the mixed use of heterogeneous patterns and materials. Second, the enjoyment of genderless styles was expressed with the unexpectedness that occur through symmetry/asymmetry and harmony/disharmony, as well as through the deviation from conventional notions regarding clothing structures. Third, the exaggeration expressed in women's clothing collections perfectly covered up a woman's body shape with the silhouette of exorbitantly expanded bulk and dimensions. These were done with extended lengths, expanded adornments, and modified clothing design types or structures. Fourth, the sensuality of genderless styles analyzed in women's fashion was expressed with mannish clothing that accentuates the beauty of the female body. Lastly, the historicity shown in genderless styles was expressed through clothing that represented traditional styles of the past, the symbolic meanings expressed in the clothes' colors and patterns, and the methods in which the decorative factors were utilized.

한국 불교 사찰을 대표하는 불국사는 활단층인 불국사(울산)단층선이 통과하는 한반도에서 지반이 가장 불안정한 곳에 입지 한다. 사찰이 조성된 선상지 지형면의 폭이 좁고 경사가 급하므로 건축자들은 불교의 상징세계를 완성하기 위하여 부지의 남쪽과 서쪽을 확장하였다. 인위적으로 넓힌 공간에는 이 지역의 지형적 특성을 고려하여 내진 구조를 고안하여 적용하였다. 건축미를 극대화하면서 중요한 목적인 내진 기능을 작동시키기 위하여 화강암을 목재처럼 가공하거나 자연석과 다듬은 석재를 이용하여 여러 장치들을 고안하였다. 불국사에 적용된 내진 구조는 그렝이법, 목조건축 기법을 적용한 석조구조(결구), 주두석(동틀돌, 첨차석)의 이용, 유공초석의 사용이다. 석축을 구성하고 있는 각 부분들은 나름대로 지진에너지를 흡수하는 특별한 역할을 하면서 전체적으로 균형과 조화를 이루고 있다. 복잡하고 세밀한 내진 구조들을 겉으로 드러내지 않고 석축 안에 감추면서 미학적으로 절정의 건축물을 만든 건축설계는 1250년 전 신라인들의 기술 수준을 짐작하게 한다. 기교에만 치우쳐 지나치게 치장한 것으로도 보일 수 있는 이 건축물의 진정한 미는 과학에 근거한 아름다움을 추구한 것이다.

The importance of VMD operation strategies in fashion business is growing, and this study analyzed the difference in consumers' VMD cognition of the two VMD operation systems: VMD specialist employment system and VMD outsourcing system. Two SPA brands were selected as the representative cases of the two VMD operation systems. A statistical analysis was performed using data collected from a total of 206 university and graduate students from an experimental study. Paired t-test and independent t-test were used for the analysis. The results are as follow: First, consumers' VMD cognition of the two VMD operating systems were different, and the VMD specialist employment system was valued higher than the VMD outsourcing system in all cognition dimensions. Second, the VMD specialist employment system was valued generally higher than the VMD outsourcing system regardless of gender, clothing involvement, and VMD interest of consumers. Third, the VMD specialist employment system was valued higher than the VMD outsourcing system in the following aesthetic aspects: harmony, attractiveness, and fashionable dimensions by the male, low involvement, and the VMD interested consumers. Fourth, the VMD outsourcing system was valued higher than the VMD specialist employment system in the appropriateness and the functionality dimensions by females and the high-involvement consumers, It also scored higher in the fashionable and attractive dimensions by the VMD interested consumers.

This Study is purposed to comparative analysis in the case of balanced with Ethnic image fashion and the event of an unbalanced between fashion and make-up and to reconfigure on the make-up of the features on the Ethnic image Fashion in the 21st century. The result of this study is as follows. First, in the case of Japanese ethnic image make-up, to emphasize applied forms and formative characterization, they generally use circles and horizontal lines. Also the harmony between Japanese image make-up and primary colors like white and red strengthen ethnic images better. In the event of an unbalance between fashion and image make-up, fashion occurs dynamically in Africa and linearly in China. Sexy & natural image make-up also widely appear in the modern view. Second, in the case of African ethnic make-up balanced with African image fashion, the form is repeatedly dotted, widely water-colored, and mattedly textured using ash make-up colors such as white, red, gold, gray and so forth. African image make-up strongly expresses primitive natural beauty adding primal tribal painting art and mask forms. In case of an unbalance between fashion and image make-up, no distinctive ethnic image make-up appears. To emphasize natural patterns as well as splendid & decorative fashion, they try not to use primary colors, but instead focus on natural make-up and monotone colored point make-up, sexy make-up, avant-garde make-up, goth make-up, romantic make-up, glossy make-up.

The subjects of the research is the architecture expressed traditionality from the time of the Open Port on, including North Korea region. The scope is divided into three periods; the first is from the Open Port to the Rehabilitation (光復),1945, the second is from then to 1960, and the last is from 1960 to the present. The expression of Koreanity(韓國性) should be concerned with the states at the time. In the beginning of the first period the alienate culture and the new modern facilities, like electricity, telecommunication system, train service, etc., rushes to Korea and the traditional architecture accepted the most of the new-comings; therefore, the original form was transformed. That seems to be the beginning of the discourse on traditionality in Korea architecture. The expression was showed up in four parts: ${\bullet}$ Korea traditional architecture accepting the foreign culture and the modern facilities ${\bullet}$ the compromise between foreign and traditional architectural form ${\bullet}$ the compromise between the Modem and traditional architecture ${\bullet}$ the Imperial Crown Style(帝冠樣式) which is the eclectic architecture with transformed roof. The figurative expression in the present architecture was showed up in roughly two parts: ${\bullet}$ the traditional form directly depicted wholly / partially ${\bullet}$ the abstract traditional form wholly / partially Moreover the results on the research traditional architecture have been collected, the principles have been drawn out. Especially the first beauty is not on form or figure of a building but on the composition of architectures and the harmony of the natural circumstances and architectures. So many contemporary architects make efforts to apply the principles to the composition and formation of current architecture.

This is the precedent study on the modern fashion design using Korean emotions, and its aim is to study the expressions in the modern fashion based on 'Jeong-Jung-Dong' idea from Korean dancing, which implicates the Korean emotion deeply among the artworks and give essence similar to the clothing. 'Jeong-Jung-Dong', a unique idea, in the Korean traditional dancing is the philosophy that involve the paradox expression, 'Movement in Silence,' which represented the emotion of Korean dancing for a long time. The main characteristics deducted in 'Jeong-Jung-Dong' were 1) the incomplete and complete by atypical, 2) the beauty of temperance by symbolism, and 3) amusing mutual relationship. Upon the analysis results of previous studies on the expressions in the modern fashion with 'Jeong-Jung-Dong', they demonstrated the atypical expressed by metaphor, symbolic expression through margin, and mutual relational table by harmony. The analysis of modern fashion expression by 'Jeong-Jung-Dong', which is a philosophical idea in the Korean dancing, could highlight the new way of looking at the clothing and systemize the theory on the Korean emotion to seek the effective expression of artistic features for the culture together with introduction of our unique emotion in the creative design process by understanding of humanitarian and philosophical ideologies to be utilized in the future Fashion Design.

본 연구는 최근 급속도로 성장하고 있는 태양전지를 활용한 국내외 도시 디자인의 현황과 동향을 파악하고, 사례 분석을 토대로 향후 진행할 연구과제인 CIGS 박막 태양전지를 활용한 도시 디자인 제안의 긍정적인 측면과 시사점을 파악하고자 하였다. 연구 방법은 문헌연구를 통하여 이론적 고찰을 진행하였고, 이후에 국내외 태양전지를 활용한 도시 디자인의 현황과 동향을 파악하여 사례를 조사·분석하였다. 그 결과 태양전지를 활용한 도시 디자인은 꾸준히 증가하고 있음을 확인하였으며, 주변 환경과의 조화, 실내외 동반 미관창출, 색상의 활용 등의 시각적인 변화를 통하여 심미적 도시 미관창출의 긍정적 효과가 있는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 시사점을 바탕으로 CIGS 박막 태양전지를 도시 디자인에 활용하였을 때 올 수 있는 기대효과를 제시하고, 향후 진행할 CIGS 박막 태양전지를 활용한 도시 디자인 제안에 대한 방향성과 의의를 확인하고자 한다.
