읍면지역의 전문대학 학생들은 공통적으로 수학의 기초학력 부족을 겪고 있다. 이러한 문제점으로 인해 전공의 기초지식이 부족하여 전공학습에 어려움을 겪게 된다. 그리고 학업에 흥미를 잃어 결국 휴학이나 자퇴를 하는 경우가 많거나 취업을 하여도 직장생활에 어려움이 있다. 이러한 문제점을 개선하고 해결하고자 국가에서는 국가직무능력표준(NCS)을 제안하고 있다. NCS에서 제안하는 직업기초능력은 직종이나 직위에 상관없이 대부분의 직종에서 직무를 성공적으로 수행하는데 필요한 능력이다. 이러한 직업기초능력 중 하나인 수리능력을 전문대학의 수학교육에 적용시키고자 한다. NCS 수리능력을 전문대학 학생들에게 적용하였을 경우, NCS 수리능력 수업의 효과성을 알아보고자 한다. 이를 통해 바람직한 전문대학 수리능력의 교육방향을 모색하고 수학의 기초학력 제고와 흥미를 유발하게 하는 데 그 목적이 있다.

D대학교 공과대학에서는 2010학년도 신입생들을 대상으로 수학기초학력평가를 실시하고, 그 결과에 따라 보충수업 형식의 수학기초학력 향상프로그램을 진행하였다. 본 연구에서는 이 프로그램이 학업성취도에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 수학기초학력평가 성적과 대학수학 성적을 보충수업 비대상자와 대상자, 대상자 중에서도 보충수업에 출석한 횟수에 따라 비교 분석하였다. 또한 학습동기에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 수학적 성향검사, 수학에 대한 인식 설문, 그리고 정규수업과 보충수업에 대한 설문을 실시하고 그 결과를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, D대학교 공과대학 신입생들은 대체로 수학기초학력이 부족하였고 수학기초학력 향상프로그램은 학업성취도와 학습동기에 크게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 효율적인 대학수학 교육을 위해서는 수학기초학력평가를 실시하고 수학적 성향검사와 수학에 대한 인식 설문을 통하여 학생들의 수학적 배경을 정확하게 파악해야 하며, 대학수학 교수 학습은 수학기초학력 향상에 초점을 두어야 함을 제언하였다.

We in this paper obtained the theoretical results for multivariate stochastic processes which help us to extended negatively orthant dependent(ENOD) structures among hitting times of the processes. In addition, some applications are given to illustrate these concepts.

Giuliano Antonini et al.(2008) have introduced the concept of extended acceptability and the results show that the extended acceptability structure has no effect on the exponential inequality except replacing a constant M = 1 with a constant M > 0. We discuss the complete convergence for extended acceptable random variables by using the exponential inequality.

In this paper, we present a new extended Jacobi method for computing eigenvalues and eigenvectors of Hermitian matrices which does not use any complex arithmetics. This method can be readily applied to skew-Hermitian and real skew-symmetric matrices as well. An example illustrating its computational efficiency is given.

We introduce the notions of intuitionistic fuzzy prime ideals, intuitionistic fuzzy completely prime ideals and intuitionistic fuzzy weakly completely prime ideals. And we give a characterization of intuitionistic fuzzy ideals and establish relationships between intuitionistic fuzzy completely prime ideals and intuitionistic fuzzy weakly completely prime ideals.

We study a new ring property called axis-commutativity. Axis-commutative rings are seated between commutative rings and duo rings and are a generalization of division rings. We investigate the basic structure and several extensions of axis-commutative rings.
