The strength of shear connectors embedded in lightweight concrete slab with deck plate is influenced by various factors of deck plate, shear conncetor and concrete. Generally, it is reported that the strength of shear connector in lightweight concrete decreases in comparison with that in normal concrete. So this paper is to use compressive strength of lilghtweight concrete, width-height ratio of deck plate, and cross sectional area of shear conncetor as variables, to evaluate the strength of shear conncetors in composite beam of steel and lilghtweight concrete slabs with deck plate, and then to suggest the reasonable strength equation by comparing the push-out test results with establixhed strength formula. As the result of 24 specimens test, in case of lightweight concrete slab with deck plate, it has showed that in the same strength, the strength of shear connector decreased about 10~20% in comparison with that in normal concrete. In spite of lightweight concrete, the test results were closely approached the established strength formula of shear connector using Fisher's reduction coefficient.

Low Back Pain Prescriptions of Jin, sa tak are peculiar to using Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma(AMR). All low back pain prescriptions which are enlisted in Byunjeunggimoon, Byunjeungrok and Byunjeungokham include AMR. Whereas low back pain prescriptions which is enlisted in Seoksilbirok are 7 of 10. Preexistence of low back pain prescriptions are not necessarily used AMR. But Jin, sa tak who lived at Ming and Ching era presented AMR in low back pain treatment. AMR is able to get rid of dampness between the kidney functional area and umbilicus. The results are as follows : It is made much of the malicious dampness which is in the kidney. There are not used cold but warm and eliminating dampness herbs to invigorate kidney. It shows that Jin, sa tak who was a Taoist used invigorating and warming kidney herbs. Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma is mainly used in treating low back pain from Jin, sa tak. Jin, sa tak shows concrete prognosis to treat a disease.

In this paper, we propose an efficient motion vector recovery algorithm for the new coding standard H.264, which makes use of the Lagrange interpolation formula. In H.264/AVC, a 16$\times$16 macroblock can be divided into different block shapes for motion estimation, and each block has its own motion vector. In the natural video the motion vector is likely to move in the same direction, hence the neighboring motion vectors are correlative. Because the motion vector in H.264 covers smaller area than previous coding standards, the correlation between neighboring motion vectors increases. We can use the Lagrange interpolation formula to constitute a polynomial that describes the motion tendency of motion vectors, and use this polynomial to recover the lost motion vector. The simulation result shows that our algorithm can efficiently improve the visual quality of the corrupted video.

In this paper, a synthesis technique for nonuniform filtering structures to be employed in active integrated antenna layouts is presented. The idea is to suppress the higher harmonic contribution due to the presence of nonlinear components through a nonuniform transmission line properly designed via Orlov's synthesis formula. The theory presented is applied here to synthesize an amplifier-based active antenna layout for wireless local area network (WLAN) purposes working at 2.4 GHz. The numerical results presented show the capabilities of the proposed approach.

For measuring friction factor of artificially-roughened surfaces which are usually applied to damper seals, flat plate test apparatus is designed and fabricated. The measurements of leakage flow and pressure distribution through round-hole patterned specimen with different hole areas are described, and a method is discussed for determining the friction factor experimentally. Results show that the friction factor of the round-hole patterned surface is bigger than that of smooth surface, and increases as increasing the hole area. A empirical friction factor model for the round-hole patterned surface can be descrived by the Moody's friction factor formula.

In this study the compressive strength data were collected from ready­mix concrete plants, and the analysis result showed that when using A­D test the concrete of 24MPa is suitable than that of 21MPa for normal distribution. The prediction formula for average compressive strength were proposed to $f_{cu}=f_{ck}+4(MPa)$. When comparing the proposed equations and existing relationship, the estimation variations of elastic modulus and creep modulus were not significant. The proposed equation confirmed that there was no effect to the influence function for modulus of elasticity and creep. Therefore, it was concluded that the proposed equation could replace the exiting interaction formula.

objective The purpose of this case report is to review the possibility of utilizing Jeokseokji-uyeoryang-tang as a therapy of seborrheic dermatitis, and to consider clinical using possibility of Shanghanlun.method Patient's Diagnosis and progress of seborrheic dermatitis was evaluated based on the patient's chart and picture. And diagnosis based on Shanghanlun was organized by table.results When analyzing the patient's history and symptoms, it can be found in article No. 159 in Shanghanlun. The area and intentsiy of erythema were reduced when viewed photos findings, so diagnosis and therapies used in this case showed valid results in seborrheic dermatitis.conclusion Jeokseokji-uyeoryang-tang is efficient to patient of this case report as a treatment.

This study is concerned with the disasters that occure in the field of industrial explosives and analyzed by two side the disaster of the manufacturing factory and that of the field, and is studied about the safety and the countermeasure. The industrial explosives accidents occure just accidentaly and unforeseeable, and reappearance experiments are more difficult. The 3E of J.H. Harvey was applied in this study to establish the counter measure of preventation of accidents, overcoming these restricted factores. As a method of technical safety countermeasures. The blasting vibration formula which had been conformed from the Seoul Subway Construction work during 1980-1984 year, was uilized, and, using the formula $V=Kw^{0.5}D^{-1.5}$ for the gneiss which is widely distributed in Pusan area, an index of the minimum and maximum amount of gun powder, to be used according to safety distance was made, and it helped the gun powder managing technician's practical business. During the fore work discharging, the safety distances of felling were theoretically established based on the writer ${\diagdown}s$ experiences of more than 10 years on this field.

This study was performed to investigate the effect of complex formula(CKRG) consisting of Panax ginseng Radix rubra Koreana. Ganoderma, Cinnamomi Cortex, Glycyrrhizae Radix and Laminariae Thallus on brain ischemia and injury such as KCN-induced brain injury, forced brain ischemia, pulmonary thrombosis. The results were summarized as follows: 1. CKRG extracts showed a decrease of the duration of KCN-induced coma and showcd an increase in life expectancy. 2. CKRG extracts showed a decrease of neurologic grade in hind limb but did not affect neurologic grades in fore limb. Also. CKRG extracts showed a significant decrease of brain ischemic area and edema in MCA occlusion, 3. CKRG extracts showed a protective effect on pulmonary thrombosis induced by collagen and epinephrine. These data suggested that CKRG extracts could be applied to the protection of brain ischemia and injury.

Elastomeric bearings are frequently used as a means to isolate structural systems from earthquake loadings. The combination of rubber layers and reinforcing steel shims makes the bearings stiff axially but soft laterally The shear flexibility of these short columns can lead to relatively low buckling loads which may be further reduced when high shear strains are simultaneously imposed. The area reduction formula has been proposed to account for the reduction in buckling load due to shear. The result obtained from the formula is presumed to be conservative but the degree of conservatism is unknown. This paper describes a numerical study which aims at determining the effect of high shear strain on the critical load of rubber bearings. The results from the finite element analysis which accounts for both the material and geometric non-linearities are compared against the theoretical results in order to examine the validity of the theoretical formulas.
