The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics of amenities available in Sunchang-gun, Jeonbuk province in Korea through ananalysis of survey data of rural amenity resources. This survey was performed over 4 years(from 2005 to 2008). The data were collected by field survey, interview, and Internet search. Descriptive statistics, regression and correlation analyses were performed to identify the characteristics of each Eup-Myun in Sunchang County. A regression analysis was also performed to compare provincial, national and other county data. Furthermore, a rank analysis was performed to classify the type of each region. Through this, the type of rural amenity resources was identified.

The purpose of this study is to find directions for the improvement of amenities for Jinan according to Eup and Myun through an analysis of survey data on rural amenity resources. This survey was performed over a period of 4 years(from 2005 to 2008). The data were collected by field survey, interview, and internet site. Analyses of descriptive statistics, regression and correlation were performed to identify the characteristics of each Eup/Myun in Jinan County and the relationship between each resource. Rank analysis was performed to classify the type of each region. Through this, directions for the improvement of amenities in Jinan according to Eup and Myun are presented.

This research is based on a rural village reconstruction business that is a priority under the national support act for rural village vitalization. Allowing for an analysis of the regional and annual classification of business contents as part of the master district implementation plan, this research presents amenity resource applications for the purpose of understanding the business contents and resource status reports. To analyze the utilization of amenity resources in the rural villages' overall development business, a content analysis of the business characteristics and resources of 299 districts was conducted for a seven-year period (2005-2011). Information that included district names, enterprise types, and specifications of a particular business, were coded in Excel, through exhaustive research of the 299 districts. Using this process, a more detailed categorization of seven years of business data, periodic, and regional business contents were defined. As a result of this research, it is apparent that the overall district's facility resources are optimized for the most, and that the environmental management of resources, including animal and plant resources, as well as water resources, is continuously decreasing, as was shown in the annual amenity resource usage transition. The annual amenity resource usage transition data denotes the highest rates in Jun-Ra-Buk-Do and Kyung-Sang-Buk-Do. In summary, this analysis verified the urgent need for diverse amenity resource utilization, research on practical alternatives, and the resource optimization of environmental controls for sustainable development in rural areas.

The purpose of this study is a classification of farm typology and an analysis of characteristic e-commerce type of farm enterprises. The classification of sample farm enterprises thus results in six distinctively agribusiness type. The six identified types can be characteristic as follows: production type, processing type and distribution type, e-commerce type, export-agricultural type, amenity-tourism type. This article attempted to come up with workable strategies to solve these problems affecting e-commerce type farm enterprises. The main results this paper are as follows: 1) to make organization of e-commerce type farm enterprises to accomplish business goals 2) to find out solution for urgent problems and subjects of farm management 3) to practice profitable business model for e-commerce type. E-commerce type farm enterprises needs are not only technology transference but also farm management.

The purpose of this study is to derive and adapt the Valuation Factor of urban regeneration scientifically and synthetically, which is the basis of developing a rational plan for urban revitalization. For this, we have selected 37 factors relating to urban regeneration as outlined in preceding studies and inquiry about importance of factors. we analysed he Valuation factors influencing he importance of urban revitalization through a questionnaire which was completed by inhabitants and expert groups in Gwangju Metropolitan City. From he results of he Factor analysis using SPSSWIN(VER.14.0), it was found that the factors which influence the importance of urban regeneration are Environment, Function, Resources and Policy Factors. Environment Factor comprises amenity, culture, beauty and convenience, The while the Function Factor comprises interchange, information, complexity and security. This classification has credibility because of the high factor loading through the Varimax Factor Analysis and is due to a high Cronbach's coefficient. There is a strong correlation between the classified factors through correlation analysis. Finally, through AMOS (Analysis of Moment Structure) 16.0 it was found that the upper classification is credible because main suitability index confirms recommending an admission standard.

Studies on the ways to construct agreeable sound-amenity have been processed in Korea recently and Virtual Acoustics Field Simulation System (VAFSS) which is an active acoustics reproducing system has been made as a technique to realize the results of the study. This system catches the changes of surroundings and produce sounds which go well with the mood of the space. The fact that a man thinks a sound goes well with factors of the environment should be an individual evaluation. Thus, the standards to classify factors influencing the preference of the sound, which can be judged by the environment, are needed. This study suggests the standards of factors to provide agreeable sound for people according to changes of the time and other elements. Among the factors influencing environment, the temperature, the humidity and the wind were suggested as standards of discomfort Index and wind chin temperature. Besides, only the intensity of illumination has been chosen to estimate the intensity of radiation as a part of factors of the whether.

While the significance and need of landscape assessment for rural area has been recognised, an appropriate method has not been established due to the lack of statutory ground and policy status in Korea. For that reason, current studies have been limited to dominantly amenity field survey in specific rural areas and stayed in academic. In particular, the majority of research on rural landscape amenity or character assessment methodologies so far has been attempted with quantitative processes. Such quantitative methods produced sometimes, heavily overlapped, conflicted, and not much meaningful characterisation and classification. Moreover, such results could not only have been reflected to policy implementation but provide vision for rural areas. Therefore, this study offers new facets for landscape character assessment methods through the lens of practitioners' qualitative survey methods and moreover, seek a policy implementation of newly developed methodologies. In order to carry out such analysis, the study employed a case study of England's Landscape Character Assessment and survey location was Gateshead Council, Northeast of England. The study suggests meaningful qualitative landscape character assessment method and review of its policy implementation.

Amenity landscapes in rural areas are becoming increasingly important as a resources to vitalize the rural areas. Befitting the times, The objectives of this study were 1) Extracting Landscape Evaluation photos: research preferences of 93 Photos taken from 15 site and analyze the possibility of Classification. select 12 photos for Image survey. 2)Adjectives select: Preliminary investigation into the 45 selected adjectives and adjectives by taking expert group of 21 adjectives were selected. Through reliability analysis, 19 adjective pairs were used to survey and factor analysis of images of landscape photographs. 3)Psychological characteristics of agricultural landscape survey and analysis: Psychological research on landscape photos and factor analysis, the agricultural production landscape to explain the 4 factors were extracted. And, each factor was discussed in relation to agricultural landscape.

The method of promoing sound surroundings with the new concept named 'Soundscape' attracts the public attention. This new method is the way of active promoting acoustic surroundings to offer the vitality, comfort and identity of urban space and relative quietness by masking the noise with natural and signal sounds. Therefore, this research has the purpose of finding out the method of soundscape concept of urban public space for the comfort acoustic surroundings.

As the interest in rural tourism has been increasing since the late 1990s, the research associated with rural tourism has increased, including research on the classification of rural tourism resources. The research classifying these resources has proved useful to many other studies. Although such studies have been conducted for a long time, they have expressed only experts' perspectives and been supported by statistics, without reflecting on users' opinions. Given this background, this study aims to classify rural tourism resources by focusing on the rural activities for tourists who use those tourism resources. To achieve this, each study participant proceeded to collect tourism resources by using a rural amenity resources database, and a card sorting test was conducted. Thirty-two people who had previously gone sightseeing in the rural areas were chosen as participants in the card sorting test. After the card sorting test was complete, the results were reviewed by experts. These results yielded six categories: doing nature activities, eating and cooking local dishes, putting up (overnight stays), going sightseeing/appreciating the landscape, enjoying leisure activities, and doing artistic activities. In the doing nature activities category, there were four subcategories: experiencing local resources, experiencing nature, experiencing tradition, and harvesting. This study was conducted to improve the satisfaction and understanding of the tourists who visit rural areas. Thus, the classification of rural tourism resources developed by this study will be widely used to establish the framework or contents of websites, applications, and so on, for promoting rural tourism resources and local resources.
