  • This article deals with the multiple alternative proposal of Venture Business policy. when Decision makers meet a very complex and important business to take a good choice. It might not be easy that we make a decision and accept the decision as an exact result of analysis at a complication and uncertain situation. This is the reason why the original research use Statistical Survey method and Visual Decision Making Process(VDMP) to improve decision analysis method. Therefore, Our research suggests that the VDMP utilized in the strategic decision making situation as a group decision adding tool, can be applied in the development of a process vision and implementation plan. as a result, researcher describe step by step the process of VDMP

  • Criticality alarm systems (CASs) are mandatory in nuclear plants for prompt alarm in the event of any criticality incident. False criticality alarms are not desirable as they create a panic environment for radiation workers. The present article describes the design enhancement of the CAS at each stage and provides maximum availability, preventing false criticality alarms. The failure mode and effect analysis are carried out on each element of a CAS. Based on the analysis, additional hardware circuits are developed for early fault detection. Two different methods are developed, one method for channel loop functionality test and another method for dose alarm test using electronic transient pulse. The design enhancement made for the external systems that are integrated with a CAS includes the power supply, criticality evacuation hooter circuit, radiation data acquisition system along with selection of different soft alarm set points, and centralized electronic test facility. The CAS incorporating all improvements are assembled, installed, tested, and validated along with rigorous surveillance procedures in a nuclear plant for a period of 18,000 h.

  • High temperature size exclusion chromatography (SEC) has been used widely for the characterization of crystalline polymers, for which high temperature operation above the polymer melting temperature is required to dissolve the polymers. However, this high temperature operation has many advantages in SEC separation in addition to merely increasing polymer solubility. At high temperature the eluent viscosity decreases, which in turn decreases the column backpressure and increases the diffusivity of the analytes. Therefore, many reports on the high temperature operation of high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) have focused on shortening the analysis time and enhancing the resolution. However, the application of high temperature SEC analysis to exploit the merits of high temperature operation is scarce. In this article, therefore, we report on a new apparatus design for high temperature SEC.

  • Objectives : In this study, We overviewed study trend on 'Mibyung' by analyzing articles published in Korea from 1997 to 2019. Methods : We collected research articles on 'Mibyung' from 7 Korean research databases using the keyword '미병' and '아건강'. Then we analyzed them by publish year, journal, and research subjects. Research subjects were categorized into 'diagnosis', 'relationship with other factors', 'trend', 'concept', 'application development', 'policy research', 'prevalence and recognition', 'clinical report' or 'animal study'. Results & Conclusions : The largest number of related articles was published in 2017(12 articles, 26.7%). 'Journal of Society of Preventive Korean Medicine' was the journal with the most published articles(16 articles, 35.6%). Most of the research subjects were about diagnosis(11 articles, 24.4%) and analysis on relationship with other factors(10 articles, 22.2%). Little were published on policy(4 articles, 8.9%) and clinical study(1 article, 2.2%). More research on policy and clinical trials should be implemented for future mibyung study.

  • Purpose: Achieving organizational effectiveness is the ultimate goal that every business entity or institution targets. To achieve this, organizations need to consider various factors that have an impact on their performance. This article analyzes the distribution influence of six main elements that have a central role in shaping sustainable organizational effectiveness, which are organizational culture, job satisfaction, interpersonal communication, talent management, knowledge management, and information technology. Research Design Data and Methodology: This research uses a quantitative approach, focusing on manufacturing companies located in Surabaya as the main object, involving twenty manufacturing companies as research targets, and 10 employees in each company. The sample selection process was carried out through the application of random sampling techniques. The analysis in this research uses the multiple linear regression method and uses SPSS version 26 software. Results: Distribution of six major factors used in this research are related to each other and contribute significantly to overall organizational effectiveness. Conclusion: Organizations that can combine the distribution of a positive culture, prioritize employee satisfaction, encourage effective communication, manage talent and knowledge efficiently, and utilize information technology wisely will have greater potential to achieve their goals and survive in the intensely competitive business environment.

  • In order to examine the educational effects and future directions of unplugged activities, we conducted a systematic review of Korean journals and theses from 2007 to 2016. Three kinds of database were used for systematic review: RISS, KISS, and E-article, and were performed searches using options such as 'unplugged' and 'play-centered'. Based on the protocol selected in the framework of the systematic review, 37 articles were selected analyzed in terms of research status, research subjects, research methods, research hubs, study mechanisms, educational methods, and research effects. Unplugged activities were the most popular among elementary school students. Educational effects were found to have significant effects on academic achievement, problem solving ability, and logical thinking ability. In the affirmative domain, there was a significant effect on interest, curiosity, and motivation. Based on the results of the analysis, the characteristics and implications of Unplugged activities and present the direction of future education were discussed.

  • The singular value decomposition is one of the most useful methods in the area of matrix computation. It gives dimension reduction which is the centeral idea in many multivariate analyses. But this method is not resistant, i.e., it is very sensitive to small changes in the input data. In this article, we derive the resistant version of singular value decomposition for principal component analysis. And we give its statistical applications to biplot which is similar to principal component analysis in aspects of the dimension reduction of an n x p data matrix. Therefore, we derive the resistant principal component analysis and biplot based on the resistant singular value decomposition. They provide graphical multivariate data analyses relatively little influenced by outlying observations.

  • Microsystems create new opportunities for conventional cell analysis by combining microfluidics and flow cytometry. This article describes recent developments in conventional flow cytometers and related microfluidic flow cytometers to detect, analyze, and sort cells or particles. Flow cytometry strongly consisted of fluidics, optics and electronics requires a large space to equip various components, which are mostly the fluidic components such as compressor, fluid handling system. Adopting microfluidics into flow cytometry enables volume- and power-efficient, inexpensive and flexible analysis of particulate samples. In this paper, we review various efforts that take advantage of novel techniques to build microfluidic cell analysis systems with high-speed analytical capability. Highly integrated microfluidic cytometry shows great promise for basic biomedical and pharmaceutical research, and robust and portable point-of-care devices could be used in clinical settings.

  • Nanomotors are gaining popularity as novel drug delivery methods since they can move rapidly, penetrate deeply into tissues, and be regulated. The ability of manufactured nanomotors to swiftly transport therapeutic payloads to their intended location constitutes a revolutionary nanomedicine strategy. The nanomotors for the drug delivery purpose are released in the blood flow under the different physical conditions, so the stability investigation of these devices is essential before the production, especially in the sport and physical exercise conditions that the blood flow enhances. As a result, using dynamic analysis, this article investigates the stability of the nanomotor released in the blood flow when sport and physical activity circumstances increase blood flow. The considered nanodevice is made of a central motor, and nanotubes are used for the nanomotor blade, which is the drug capsule. Finally, the stability examination of nanomotor as the drug delivery equipment is discussed in detail, and the proposed results can present beneficial results in designing and producing small-scale intelligent devices.
