  • In order to study the limits of sequences appearing in, for example, stochastic process, A. V. Skorokhod has defined new function space topologies. We compare these topologies with the topology of compact convergence, the topology of pointwise convergence and others.

  • In this paper, we attempt to study several topological properties for the function space H(X), space of self-homeomorphisms on a metric space endowed with the regular topology. We investigate its metrizability and countability and prove their coincidence at X compact. Furthermore, we prove that the space H(X) endowed with the regular topology is a topological group when X is a metric, almost P-space. Moreover, we prove that the homeomorphism spaces of increasing and decreasing functions on ℝ under regular topology are open subspaces of H(ℝ) and are homeomorphic.

  • In this paper, we introduce the concept of fuzzy almost strongly (r, s)-semicontinuous mappings on intuitionistic fuzzy topological spaces in $\check{S}$ostak's sense. The relationships among fuzzy strongly (r, s)-semicontinuous, fuzzy almost (r, s)-continuous, fuzzy almost (r, s)-semicontinuous, and fuzzy almost strongly (r, s)-semicontinuous mappings are discussed. The characterization for the fuzzy almost strongly (r, s)-semicontinuous mappings is obtained.

  • The goal of this study is to investigate computational convergence of optimal solutions, with respect to optimality criteria (OC) method and methods of moving asymptotes (MMA) as optimization model for non-linear programming of material topology optimization using an acceleration method that makes design variables rapidly move toward almost 0 and 1 values. 99 line topology optimization MATLAB code uses loop vectorization and memory pre-allocation as properly exploiting the strengths of MATLAB and moves portions of code out of the optimization loop so that they are only executed once as restructuring the program. Numerical examples of a simple beam under a lateral load and a given material density limitation provide merits and demerits of the present OC and MMA for 99 line topology optimization code of continuous material topology optimization design.

  • In this paper the concept of fuzzy nearly C-compactness is introduced in Generalized fuzzy topological spaces. Several characterizations and some interesting properties of these spaces in Generalized fuzzy topological spaces are discussed. The properties of fuzzy almost continuous and fuzzy almost open functions in Generalized fuzzy topological spaces are also studied.

  • This paper presents the design and implementation of an improved cascaded multilevel inverter topology with asymmetric DC sources. This experimental inverter topology is a stand-alone system with simulations and experiments performed using resistance loads. The topology uses four asymmetric binary DC sources that are independent from each other and one H-bridge. The topology was simulated using PSIM software before an actual prototype circuit was tested. The proposed topology was shown to be very efficient. It was able to generate a smooth output waveform up to 31 levels with only eight switches. The obtained simulation and experimental results are almost identical. In a 1,200W ($48.3{\Omega}$) resistive load application, the THDv and efficiency of the topology were found to be 1.7% and 97%, respectively. In inductive load applications, the THDv values were 1.1% and 1.3% for an inductive load ($R=54{\Omega}$ dan L=146mH) and a 36W fluorescent lamp load with a capacitor connected at the dc bus.
