농업인을 위한 학습자 참여형 안전보건 교육 프로그램 설계 (A Study on Developing the Participatory Educational Program of Agricultural Safety and Health for Farmers)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a participatory education program of farmer's safety and health. After investigating the concept and status of agricultural safety and health to identify the problem of farmer's safety and health, we made the model in 3 steps, consist of analysis, design, and development, based on the instructional system design and the participatory instructional method. We also applied the participatory instructional method to the program to facilitate a change in practice by making farmers understand the contents. The findings of this study revealed the followings: 1) we developed the education program focused on characteristics of farmers as learners; 2) the education program was developed based on the model for developing education programs and the specific procedures that we made up; 3) we designed the program in modules to increase the availability; 4) we raised the content validity of the learning contents in the safety and health education program targeting farmers; 5) manuals and supplementaries for teachers were developed from learner's textbooks.

농업정보이용 실태 및 과제 (Demand for Agricultural Information;Situation and Implication)

  • This study examines the demand for agricultural information at farm level, using Probit and Logit models. 646 farmers are surveyed with a questionnaire to attain the data and 441 of them have responded. The demand functions for computers, agricultural softwares, and agricultural databases at from level have been derived and used to project the demand for agricultural information in year $2001{\sim}2004$. Results find that only 5.89% of farmers have PCs at farm and rarely use the agricultural databases and softwares in 1994. The low demand figures are mostly due to the difficulty of using the PCs, databases, and softwares. The demand figures will increase in early 2000`s with 15.46% of farmers having PCs. User Friendly developed softwares and databases, and education for using agricultural information are necessary to increase the demand figures.

농촌진흥청 농촌지도사업의 이러닝 시스템 분석 (Exploring e-Learning System for Agricultural Education and Extension in the Rural Development Administration (RDA), Korea)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 2003년부터 농촌진흥청에서 이루어져 왔던 이러닝시스템에 대한 실태와 참여농가의 만족도를 파악하고 향후 이러닝시스템의 발전방향을 모색하는 데 있다. 농촌진흥청은 2003년부터 웹과 비디오화상시스템에 기반을 둔 이러닝시스템(e-learning system)을 이용하여 농가에 대한 지도와 교육사업을 전개하여 왔다. 2003년에는 이러닝을 통한 교육과정에 251명의 농민이 등록하였으며, 이 중 최종적으로 126명이 오이, 고추, 토마토에 대한 생산과 경영관리 교육과정을 수료하였다. 2004년에는 503명의 농민이 이러닝 교육과정에 등록하였으며, 이중 313명의 농가가 버섯, 딸기, 수박에 대한 생산과 경영관리 교육과정을 수료하였다. 이러닝 교육과정에 참여하는 농민의 76%가 이러닝시스템을 통한 교육에 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러닝을 위한 시스템 형태에 따른 선호도는 비디오화상시스템만을 이용한 경우는 23%. 웹만을 이용한 경우는 13%, 이 두 시스템을 통합하여 운영한 경우에는 59%로서 통합시스템운영이 더 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 현재 진흥정이 구축한 통합시스템은 동시에 1000명 이상의 농민을 대상으로 교육을 실시할 수 있다. 지도사업의 예산과 인원이 과거에 비해 줄어들고 있는 상황에서 이러닝시스템은 향후 농민들을 대상으로 한 지도와 교육에 효과적인 대안이 될 수 있다.

마을평생교육리더 양성과정 참여자의 프로그램 만족도 (A Study on Program Satisfaction of Participants in the Leader Course of Village Lifelong Learning)

  • This study is the purpose to analyze the satisfaction of training course for the village lifelong education leader who will act as the village lifelong education leaders in the future. The data were collected from 197 the participants who have learned the training course for village lifelong education leaders among 7 local governments. The collected questionnaires were statistically treated by using SPSS (Version 17.0) program and frequency, T-test, and ANOVA. The major findings of this study were as follow; 1) the satisfaction of women's learners to the training course of village lifelong education leaders is high. 2) the satisfaction of low ages to training course for village lifelong education leaders is high. 3) the satisfaction of high educational background learners to training course for village lifelong education leaders is high. 4) the satisfaction of high income background learners to training course for village lifelong education leaders is high. 5) the satisfaction of much learning experience learners to lifelong education is high. 6) the highest among the satisfaction level of the program participants for village lifelong education is the staff service of lifelong education organization.

강소농교육 참여 농업인의 직무성과와 학습지향성, 자기효능감, 학습전이의 구조적 관계 (Structural Relations of Learning Orientation, Self-Efficacy, Learning Transfer and Job Performance of Farmers who Participated in the Strong and Small Farms Education)

  • The purposes of this study are to explain and identify the frame of structural relations of learning orientation, self-efficacy, learning transfer and job performance of farmers who participated in the strong and small farms education. This is an experimental research with the data collected from 495 farmers who have taken the farm education. Based on the collected data, the study conducted a structural equation modeling(SEM) to confirm the validity and analyze the structural relations of the suggested model. Using measured and latent variables drew from the analyses, the study set a structural equation model and tested the model by analysis of the structural equation modeling with AMOS 18.0. The results found from the empirical analysis can be summarized as follows. 1) Learning orientation and self-efficacy positively influenced job performance through learning transfer. 2) The hypothesis that learning orientation would have direct impact on job performance was not supported. 3) The strong and small farms education is useful to expand learning transfer and to enhance job performance. So, government policy support has to reinforce learning support on farmers in order to achieve high performance of learning and job management through farm educations.

농촌주민들의 가치수준 및 도덕성수준과 그 향상을 위한 사회교육적 시사 (The Rural People's Level of Value and Morality In Korea and its Implication for Rural Adult Education)

  • This study aimed at measuring the rural people's level of value and morality, identifying its related variables, and drawing some implications for rural adult education. To measure their value and moral levels, 141 Yoncheon county adults were interviewed or asked to answer the questionnaires based on the Braithwaite and Law's(value) and Rest's(morality) instruments. The data were analyzed mainly by ANOVA, Chi square test and Pearson product-moment correlation. The major findings were: (1) The rural people mainly remained in vital feeling value(fourth) level out of five levels(religious holiness, spiritual, mind, vital feeling and sensible feeling value in order), (2) They remained in harmonious interpersonal expectations stage(fourth mortality level) out of six stage(universal ethical principles, social contract, social conscience maintenance, harmonious interpersonal expectation, instrumental purpose, and punishment/obedience in order), (3) Religion, the number of participation in adult education, and the length of such participation were three variables related to the level of value, and age, schooling years, and the number of family wane three variable related to their morality level, and (4) The relationship between value and morality levels was not significantly identified. Rural adult education needs to be more strengthened for improving their spiritual quality of life.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics and the impact of it on the education satisfaction a positive change in life after the education according to education participation motive types in married immigrant women. By the regression, education participation motive types(${\beta}$=.16) affected on the women's the education satisfaction significantly but it's effect(${\beta}$=.16) on the a positive change in life through the education affected insignificantly. By the ANOVA analysis, the activity-oriented among the education participation motive types were highest in the level of education satisfaction, self-esteem, marital satisfaction, the length of residence in Korea, and age. By the logistic regression, only the length of residence in Korea affected on the activity-oriented significantly.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the structural relationships between adult educators' instructional leadership, learners' motivation and performance among those participants in education for urban-rural migration. The survey was conducted among 22 agricultural educational institutions in South Korea, and a total number of 1,109 learners responded to a questionnaire. In order to verify the hypothesized research model, the collected data were analyzed with structural equation modeling. The major findings of this study were as follows. First, adult educators' instructional leadership had a direct effect and an indirect effect on learners' performance. Second, adult educators' instructional leadership had a direct effect on learners' motivation. Third, learners' motivation had a direct effect on learners' performance.

농업생산체계에서 농업 재래지식과 농업환경교육 (The Role of Indigenous Knowledge and Agricultural Education in Agriculture Production System: Implications to Sustainable Agriculture and Environment Education)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 농업 재래지식(indigenous knowledge)이 농업생산과 환경에 미치는 중요성을 알아보고 농업 및 환경교육에 그 필요성을 제시하는 데 있었다. 우리 나라에서는 농업재래지식은 조상 대대로 농업작부체계에서 매우 유용한 농업기술로 이어져 왔다. 그러나 현대의 과학 농업기술에 의하여 최근에 농업 재래지식의 활용은 급감하였고, 이에 대한 체계적인 연구나 보전이 매우 미흡한 상태에 있다. 그러나 미국, 일본, 케냐 등 많은 국가에서는 여전히 농업 재래지식이 농업생산 및 농촌개발 과정에서 그 적용율이 $9{\sim}27%$ 정도로 나타나고 있다. 농업 재래지식은 자연농법 및 유기농법과 함께 중요한 환경보전 기술이므로 실태 파악과 그 보전 방안이 강구되어야 할 것이다.

농촌지역 평생교육 참여자의 특성 -대도시, 중소도시, 농촌의 지역 간 차이를 중심으로 - (Characteristics of Participants in Lifelong Education in Rural Areas -Focused on Regional Differences in Large Cities, Small Cities and Rural Areas -)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the learning tendency of rural residents participating in lifelong education. The analysis data were analyzed using a polynomial model for 3,685 people using raw materials from a lifetime education survey. According to the analysis, participants in rural residents prefer small study groups. They were also approached on a practical level, such as life-help or self-realization. And the participating education programs were highly involved in vocational non-formal education. Based on the workings of personal backgrounds, participation of people with lower income and lower educational backgrounds is more active than in urban areas. In addition, the effect of improving the quality of life through lifelong education was shown in the order of big cities, small cities, rural areas. These results suggest that ways to improve the quality of life through lifelong education are not suitable as a means to maintain rural population.
