The study of traditional costume is significant in terms of figuring out of the reality of its originality and enrich the costume culture of today. The purpose of this study is to analyze the aesthetic characteristics and to contemplate the aesthetic values of the Kokuryo costume. Kokuryo costume were characterized with the simpleness in its clothing constructions. The spaces found on the dresses were emphasized giving a geometric characteristics and abstract images. Many different colors were used for tops, bottoms, and border elements showing value contrast in each parts of dress. Patterns were simplified in a dot or stripe shapes impling a certain symbols. Dot patterns were varied in its shapes. In general. the decorative elements were simple and eliminated. Through the process of investigating these aesthetic characteristics, aesthetic values were found. The aesthetics of nature were favoured and tradition were respected. Religious mind were favoured and progressive spirit were endowed by the Kokuryo people. They have pursued the diversities and many changes in visual forms of dresses which were the manifestations of their esprit.
This thesis is designed to take a close look into the characteristics of architectural space through the standard of beauty, which has been created apart from our desires at certain cultural or historical periods of time. It will try to construct the outline of conception about the beauty throughout many centuries. First of all, contents of the research will focus on the aspects, which people have been considering as beauty eversince the ancient time without having any assumptions on its concept. For example, if the beauty of art has been accepted by the theories of modern aesthetics while degrading the beauty of nature, its value could have possibly been much more appreciated. The standard of beauty has been going through the process of change in such history of mankind. The general standard of beauty, which was established in the ancient time was the proportion and harmony between many elements. Afterwards, beauty was expressed as colors and light in medieval times. Expression of beauty using ugly features such as monsters or demons also existed at the time. Beauty has been periodically developing from supernatural to gracious, rational, noble, romantic, religious, mechanical, and today's media. The concept of beauty established from the above has been appearing throughout various culture such as dress and decoration at the given period of time. It would later affect the formation of space as well as decoration for architectures and styles. It will be analyzed throughout the five design elements; style, composition, materials, components, and form. The thesis would like to find the spatial order of beauty from the result of the analysis. The analysis will examine the possibility for which the recomposition of beauty will be provided as a design process for the new era. The Greek beauty represents a shape. The shape represents proportion and the proportion represents given numbers. However, beauty is being expressed by the opposite process at the present time. In other words, computers will arrange the numbers, which would formalize the proportion between the numbers. Beauty would be presented when the shape is presented as certain forms.

The purpose of this is to analyze the aesthetics characteristics of our modern sports fashion, and thereby, discuss them in the light of the overall mentality or the 20th century, and thus, present the conditions or sports fashion design meeting modem people's divers aesthetics values and desired. Modern sports fashion sues can be categorized into futurist sports style, erotic sports style and American sheet sports style. And the 20th century mentality characterized by changes of lifestyle, identity and aspiration has influenced the aesthetic features of such sports fashion sues, which can be summed up as follows; first, the futurist sports style applies the functional items and details of active sportswear to design, while heralding a positive and hopeful message of technology and future by using the material of hi-tech functions and senses. This sports style was affected much by shift from social status, attraction and wealth to demonstration of state-of-the-art science, pursuit of functionality in terms of shapes and materials, convenience through See combinations of sportswear items or design elements. Second, the erotic sports style based on minimalism attempted to express the erotic body beauty indirectly by exposing some parts of body or using the material pressed against the body. This sports style was closely related with the changes of sexual identity such as neutral sexualism, bi-sexualism and homo-sexualism. Lastly, the American street sports style was born from black Americarns' sports and dances. This spors style pursues “youth” beyond TPO concept As mass media and commercial sports developed, the young generation copied sports stars' uniforms or fashions to share honor, wealth and youth with them. Background This analysis presents patient-reported outcomes of breast augmentation procedures performed in Singapore using an inframammary fold incision and the "5 Ps" best practice principles for breast augmentation. These data are the first of their kind in Southeast Asian patients. Methods Through a retrospective chart review, patients who underwent primary breast augmentation with anatomical form-stable silicone gel breast implants using an inframammary fold incision were followed for ${\geq}6$ months postoperatively. The BREAST-Q Augmentation Module (scores standardized to 0 [worst] - 100 [best]) and Patient and Observer Scar Assessment Scale (POSAS; 1 [normal skin] to 10 [worst scar imaginable]) were administered. Responses were summarized using descriptive statistics. Patient-reported events were collected. Results Twenty-two Southeast Asian patients (mean age, 35.1 years) completed ${\geq}1$ postoperative BREAST-Q and POSAS assessment and were assessed 11 months to 5.5 years postoperatively. The mean postoperative BREAST-Q satisfaction with breasts and psychosocial well-being scores were 69.2 and 84.0, respectively. The mean POSAS score for their overall opinion of the scar was 4.2; the mean scores for all scar characteristics ranged from 1.2 to 4.2. Over 90% of patients (20/22) said that they would recommend the procedure. Patient complaints following surgery included anisomastia (possibly pre-existing; n=2), sensory loss at the nipple (n=2) or around the nipple (n=3), scarring (n=4), and slight capsular contracture (n=1). No patients required reoperation. Conclusions Southeast Asian patients reported high long-term satisfaction scores on the BREAST-Q scale and with their scar characteristics following breast augmentation using an inframammary fold incision, and nearly all said they would recommend this procedure. No reoperations were necessary in patients assessed for up to 5.5 years postoperatively.
The purposes of this study are to establish a theoretical concept of nudism from sociocultural context, to examine its formative characteristics, to analyze the cultural meaning of nudism style showing in the 2000's fashion world, and to analyze and examine its aesthetic qualities. The way of a study was based on analysis and review on philosophy, aesthetics, sociology, popular culture and various documents at home and abroad and previous study and research materials about art and clothes for theoretical study. Also, we carried out a case study by analyzing photo data from fashion books, magazines and internet websites, considering the body and dress as visual objects. The summary and conclusions of this study are as follows: 1. Nudism of the sociocultural context was divided into change of understanding of the body and liberation of the body; naturalism; resistant culture; psychoanalysis context. 2. The formative characteristics of nudism style in fashion are classified in Exposure, Transparency and Body Conscious. 3. The cultural meaning of nudism style expressed in the 2000's fashion are sexual opening, surfeit of mass media, pursuit of naturalism, lookism, and individualism. 4. Nudism style expressed in 2000's fashion is drawn as three aesthetic qualities: Eroticism, Primitivism and Futurism. First, Eroticism of nudism style fashion which seeks for sexual stimulus is classified in Sensualism, Provocation and Innocence. Second, Primitivism of nudism style fashion which tends towards naturalism objecting to mechanic and digital civilization and hoping for return to the origin is classified in Primitivism, Naturalism and Sensualism as per aesthetics qualities. Futurism which is the nudism style presenting futuristic expression through using a new material is analyzed as High Technology, Cyber Sexism and functional Future.

Dasan(茶山) Jeong Yak-yong wrote many works in various fields. His ideas and philosophy formed a mountain range. First, his aesthetic ideas improved from Dam(淡) to Dam(澹;light), and further to Dam (膽;courage). Because Dasan had the courage to make changes, this was possible. Second, Dasan has the aesthetic idea of Yun(韻). This can be seen in his life pursuing the quaint. Because Dasan was unable to participate in reality due to exile, so he was able to create our culture through many writings. First, Un-Rim-San-Bang(雲林山房) in Sochi Heoyu is the origin of our Namjong Literary Painting, and its origin is Dasan. Second, Dasan pursued Silhak(實學), and applies it to reality. It is Silsagusi(實事求是). Thirdly, Dasan pursued Enjoying Together with People(與民同樂). Aesthetics ideas of Dasan showed the Korean characteristics.
Based on the exploration of the reasons why Shunji Iwai is called "Wong Kar-wai of Japan", this paper compared and studied the image style of two directors films, and explored the theoretical characteristics of their similarities and differences, so as to provide inspiration for the development of Chinese national films. This is the purpose of this paper. Through the search of literature, cultural background analysis of the two directors, film style comparison and film aesthetics comparative analysis and other research methods, this paper made a more in-depth theoretical research on the films of the two directors. It was found that the films of the two directors showed the characteristics of narrative abstraction and image beautification, but there were also some differences in the choice of narrative subjects. The research of this paper provided a new train of thought and starting point for us to study and explore the films of two directors, and pointed out a new direction for us to explore the trend of national films.

The purpose of this study is to explore the aesthetic nature and significance of the use of plants in gardens during the Northern Song Dynasty. At that time, literati believed that nature contained truth, lived near gardens, and realized the truth of life in gardens. By analyzing the poet Su Shi's (Su Dongpo) aesthetic orientation towards peony flowers, we hope to elucidate his landscaping ideas. In terms of oriental aesthetics, the peony flower is a plant that is both unique and characterized by a myriad of ideas and emotions. Therefore, by examining the garden plant peony as a part of the landscape with infinite sensibilities and aesthetic interests, this study can understand Su Shi's literary characteristics and aesthetic vision, which grasp the aesthetic characteristics of the Confucian scholars of the Song Dynasty and the aesthetic connotations of garden plants. This study aims to categorize and explore Su Shi's peony culture, with a view to arousing a strong interest in the traditional Chinese garden floriculture embedded in Chinese gardens. The in-depth study of plant culture provides a strong theoretical support for the creation of garden landscapes that has reference value for the construction and design of garden plants. In addition, while discovering the historical and cultural connotations of other gardens, it is also of great significance in understanding the aesthetic and cultural landscapes of related plants.

This study is aimed to find correlation between benefits of pursuing clothes and the attitude towards wearing school uniform, as well as the effects that wearing attitude has on the satisfaction. This research is carried out by investigating and researching into middle and high school students around capital regions in the hopes of enhancing their satisfaction to their uniforms and their desire for self-expression, resulting in a positive notion to uniforms being settled in among the students. In the regards of benefits of pursuing clothes, female students are highly pursuing individual characteristics, aesthetics, and economy all depending on the demographic factors. It is notable that students in Seoul are pursuing those elements more strongly than those in Gyeonggi-do. As for the attitude towards wearing school uniforms, the safety weighs a lot among female students. Meanwhile, those in Gyeonggi-do were more inclined to economy as they prefer wearing uniform more often than not. Students who are pursuing individual characteristics and aesthetics are less likely to pursue economy, whereas those who are pursuing practicality are pursuing better economy. Those in favor of economy, meanwhile, are pursuing aesthetics, safety, as well as economy. When it comes to the attitude towards wearing school uniforms, the result showed that it is more likely for those who are considering aesthetics, safety, and economy to be satisfied with the aesthetics, practicality, and the convenience aspects of school uniforms.
The purpose of this study is to define the special characteristics of the neoclassic style in eighteenth to nineteenth century fashion. Researching into philosophy and aesthetics in eighteenth to nineteenth century, the characteristics of the neoclassic style in fashion is considered the clarity of form, the utility of function, and the sensuality combined with body. The results of this study are as follows: The clarify of form is found in geometric form based on anatomical truth of the human body in relation with rational and scientific thoughts. The utility of function is found in simple and suitable construction considering purely practical purpose of dresses. The sensuality combined with body is found in natural silhouette dress alluding naked body in connection with Rousseau' naturalism. Understanding aesthetic value of the neoclassic style will help to develop fashion designs associated with neoclassical forms.
