The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationships between variables related to skin health and skin health behavior of female university students in seoul, and to plan effective educational programs for skin health. 322 university women attending women's universities and 363 university women attending co-educational universities were selected to conduct a questionnaire survey; the total number of examines was 685, and the examination period was from October 23rd to November 6th, 2002. The study results are as follows; 1. The score distributions of skin health behavior were as follows; 8.7% of examniees got 20-40 points, 51.6% got 41-60 points, 36.7% got 61-80 points, 0.4% got 81-100 points. The maximum score was 100 points; the lowest score was 22 points and the highest score was 97 points, the average score was 56.9 points. 2. The general characters were as follows; the older subjects were and the higher subjects income levels were : the higher their scores of skin health behavior were. Scores of skin health behavior of students who temporarily stay out of school were higher than those who were enrolled full time. Scores of skin health behavior of university women attending women's universities were higher than those of university women attending co-educational universities. The greater subjects were satisfied with their appearances, the better their health states were, the more subjects were concerned about health problems, the higher their health states were, the more subjects were concerned about health problems, the higher their scores of skin health behavior were. 3. Characters related to skin were as follows; the better subjects skin conditions were, the higher their scores of skin health behavior were. Scores of skin health behavior of university women whose skin types were 'sensitive' were higher than those of university women whose skin was "not sensitive". Scores of skin health behavior of university women who worry about their skin wrinkles or skin color were higher than those of university women who have different kinds of skin troubles. Scores of skin health behavior of university women who get skin-relate information through dermatology clinics or beauty salonspecialists in this area were higher than those of university women who get the information through other sources. Scores of skin health behavior of university women who have experienced adverse effects of beauty products were higher than those of university women who have not experienced adverse effects of beauty products. 4. The relationships between variables related with skin health and skin health behavior were as follow; Skin states, health status and health concerns all had statistically significant correlation with skin health behavior.
Family has emerged as a key concept for health, and it has been identified as one of the most important conditions. The relationship between health habit and its management is different depending on family. The odd pair family, mostly rural lower income class, worry to have poor health because of no spouse and small family size. One thousand eight hundred and seventy(1870) subjects were collected in 9 provinces through the sampling of Probability Proportional to Size (PPS). Questionnaire method was conducted on health checking, bath states, alcohol consumption, cigarette smoking, and the prevalence of farmer's health related problems. The main results were as follows: 1) The characteristics of odd pair families are that the head of household is female(77% ), the size of family is small(1.76 persons), the education level is low(7.5 years for male, 3.1 years for female) and the age group is old (male: 89.78 year old, female: 73.69 year old). 2) For the odd pair family, the frequency of health checking is quite low with one or two times per year(l0.2%) and the rate of no-health checking is much higher(35.8%) .3) Bathing utility is not available 29.6% of the odd pair family and only cold water is supplied at home for the 11.5 % of them. However, for the paired family, 9.8 % of them has no bathing utility and the rate of the family supplied with only cold water is just 7.9%. 4) The bathing frequency score of odd pair family is l.74points for male and 1.25 points for female. 5) The rate of smoking habits for odd pair family is 68.5 % and specially it is 7.6% for female, which is higher comparing with that of pair family. 6) The smoking frequency score of odd pair family is 1.57 points. 7) Alcohol drinking frequency score of odd pair family is 1.79 points for male, and 3.24points for female. 8) Farmers' syndrome(FS) revealed 38.7% of odd pair family and it is lower than that of pair family(57.3%). Special pain of FS was huckle bone and muscle(28.4%) and articular pain(24.l %). The pain rate of huckle bone and muscle(43.l %) and articular pain(33.5%) were higher in a year in odd pair family were lower than those of pair family: farming machine caused accidents(6.5%) and pesticide poisoning(5.7%). l0) The odd pair family use more frequently medical clinic or public health center for the treatment of FS(74.7%) and pesticide poisoning(62.5%) than the pair family for FS(69.0%) and for pesticide poisoning(.53.6%). The score of FS treatment is 5.70 points for odd pair family and it is not significantly different from 5.62 points of the paired family. The result of pesticide poisoning treatment score is as same as that of FS.

Objectives : The purposes of this study were to develop a mental health screening questionnaire and the practical intervention programs or guidelines which can be used in middle and high schools by students and teachers. Methods : The Adolescent Mental health & Problem behavior Screening Questionnaire II (AMPQ-II) was developed and was tested for reliability and validity using nationwide data from 2,180 middle and high school students and 2,145 teachers. Results : The AMPQ-II was measured by both students and teachers. The correlation coefficient of the test-retest test was 0.567 and internal consistency was high (Cronbach's alpha=0.878). Five factors such as worry and thought, mood and suicide, academic and Internet-related problems, peer problems, and rule violations were proposed. We also developed a practical guideline and manuals which can be easily used by secondary school teachers to screen for and manage mental health problems at school. Conclusion : The AMPQ-II can be a useful and reliable tool to screen for mental health problems in middle and high schools in South Korea.

The chlorination of a metallurgical-grade silicon was carried out in a fluidized bed reactor, 25 mm in diameter. The flow rate of the chlorine admitted into the reactor was 0.2 L/min and that of the carrier nitrogen was 0.8~1.0 L/min. The reactor temperature was maintained at $450^{\circ}C$ and the temperature of the coolant at the $SiCl_4$ condenser was at $-5^{\circ}C$. The $SiCl_4$ yield increased with increasing the mole fraction of chlorine in the feed gas, exhibiting 28% at the mole fraction of 0.2. Further increase of the chlorine mole fraction was not attempted in a worry that the reactor might be failed due to the high exothermicity of the reaction. The production of $SiCl_4$ from silicon by fluidized bed chlorination was demonstrated on a laboratory scale, which is a stepping stone for future studies under more severe conditions toward industrial application.

Korean youth spend tremendous time in school for preparing for college admissions. Their academic achievement and overall satisfaction with their lives are affected by how well they adapt to life in school. Successful adaptation to school is important enough to affect a student's future social life. One of the factors that affect adaptation to school is the psychological condition of adolescent anxiety. Anxiety is one of the common mental disorders that appear in people who are not familiar with new environments. Anxiety is known to be related to behavioral problems, and problems with psychological and emotional adaptation. This condition is dramatically increased in adolescents.Parental conflict in particular is known to be a major factor in affecting youth anxiety. As parental conflict became more severe, children felt more negative emotions such as anger, sadness and worry. Moreover, when a child's issue caused the parental conflict, there were more side effects in the emotional condition of the child. This study shows how parental conflict affects a child's anxiety and a child's school life. This problem is analyzed through structural equation modeling.

The urban housing market in Korea, especially in Seoul and the Capital region, has been revitalized with massive urban (re)developments and expanding real estate finance after the IMF crisis. This brought about a boom of housing price during the mid-2000s, which has been virtually stabilized by strong regulation policies of the previous government. But with impacts of the recent international financial crisis together with some inherent problems, the housing market of Korea faces with a worry of collapse in relation with the financial market volatility and the serious depression of real economy, and hence the current government attempts to implement strong deregulation policies on the housing market. In this paper it is argued that this kind of volatility of urban housing market seems to be caused by strategies of capital which involve continuous massive urban (re)development, residential segregation and appropriation of monopoly rent(or capital gain), and fictitious capitalization of real estates and integration of real estate market and financial market. In these reasons, the current tendency of urban housing price shows a slow downward, which seems to give the current neoliberal government a rationale for deregulation policies to prevent the downward tendency. But this paper suggests that such a slow downward of housing price shift would have positive effects on the housing market in particular and social and economic situations in general, and hence an alternative housing policy is required to realize such positive effects.

The oxide sacrificial layer technology is one of the key technologies in surface micromachining. However, the commonly used aqueous HF solutions, including the $NH_4F$ buffered HF solutions (BHF), are known to attack the Al metal layers during the oxide sacrificial etch. A mixed $NH_4F$/HF/glycerine aqueous solution of 4:1:2 ratio is known to have the best etch selectivity between oxide and AI, but even this sacrificial etchant has a significant etch rate for AI. This paper reports an extensive experimental study on various concentration ratios for HF, $NH_4F$ and glycerine, and develops the optimal mixture ratio for sacrificial etching. At the $NH_4F$/HF/glycerine ratio of 2:1:4, the etch selectivity between PSG and Al improves by approximately 6 times over the previously known best selectivity, to a value of 7,700. At this condition, the measured etch rate of PSG film is approximately $2.1\;{\mu}m/min$, which is sufficiently fast. The developed sacrificial etchant allows the addition of a Al metal layer in surface micromachining, without the worry of Al layer erosion during sacrificial etch.
Small and medium-sized company workers are ill-prepared for retirement due to low wages and poor working conditions, as result, are likely to get into poverty in retirement. The purpose of this study is to conduct a case study on the current status of financial and non-financial retirement preparation of the small and medium-sized company workers. The main findings are as follows. First, the small and medium-sized company workers show the anxiety about retirement. Many pre-retirees worry that their retirement savings may not generate enough income in retirement, and the level of benefits paid in public pension is inadequate. Second, they are preparing for retirement in the areas of finance, health, working after retirement and social activity. Third, they are realistic and practical in retirement decisions makings. they are considering household budget downsizing, cutting education costs, the low-waged job choice and cash flow preference in retirement. The safety and reality in preparation for retirement are top considerations. In conclusion, this case study shows that pre-retirees of small and medium-sized companies are seeking diverse retirement solutions. We need to design integrated and practical retirement planning programs to support their specific retirement needs.

The purpose of this study was to identify the experiences of nursing students who used journals for cadaver practice experience. The data were collected between October 26 and October 28 2016. Participants were 20 2-year nursing students with cadaver practice experience at D College in D City. The data were collected from daily sheets by self-reporting their experiences during the cadaver practice program. The participants wrote their experiences anonymously on sheets on paper. Data were categorized and coded by using content analysis. Eight categories and 21 statements were drawn from three domains. The study revealed that participants experienced anxiety, flow, and reflection of cadaver practice. The analyzed domains were 'anxiety', 'flow', and 'reflection'. 'Anxiety' was categorized into 'worry', 'fear', and 'surprise'. 'Flow' was categorized into 'interesting', 'focusing', and 'knowing'. 'Reflection' was categorized into 'dignity' and 'appreciation'. Therefore, It is necessary to provide a group counseling program for seniors who have experienced counseling and cadaver practice for psychological support and anxiety relief of nursing students before cadaver practice. In addition, this study is expected to contribute to the development of a cadaver practice program for nursing college students.
China's new grand strategy, the "One Belt, One Road Initiative" (also Belt Road Initiative, or BRI) has two primary components: Chinese President Xi Jinping announced the "Silk Road Economic Belt" in September 2013 during a visit to Kazakhstan, and the "21st Century Maritime Silk Route Economic Belt" in a speech to the Indonesian parliament the following month. The BRI is intended to supply China with energy and new markets, and also to integrate the countries of Central Asia, the Association of Southeast Asia Nations (ASEAN), and the Indian Ocean Region - though not Northeast Asia - into the "Chinese Dream". The project will be supported by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), due to open in 2016 with 57 founding members from all around the world, and China has already promised US$ 50 billion in seed funding. China's vision includes networks of energy pipelines, railways, sea port facilities and logistics hubs; these will have obvious commercial benefits, but also huge geopolitical significance. China seems to have two distinct aims: externally, to restore its historical sphere of influence; and internally, to cope with income inequalities by creating middle-class jobs through enhanced trade and the broader development of its economy. In South Korea, opinion on the BRI is sharply polarized. Economic and industrial interests, including Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL), support South Korean involvement in the BRI and closer economic interactions with China. They see how the BRI fits nicely with President Park Geun-hye's Eurasia Initiative, and anticipate significant commercial benefits for South Korea from better connections to energy-rich Russia and the consumer markets of Europe and Central Asia. They welcome the prospect of reduced trade barriers between China and South Korea, and of improved transport infrastructure, and perceive the political risks as manageable. But some ardently pro-US pundits worry that the political risks of the BRI are too high. They cast doubt on the feasibility of implementing the BRI, and warn that although it has been portrayed primarily in economic terms, it actually reveals a crucial Chinese geopolitical strategy. They are fearful of China's growing regional dominance, and worried that the BRI is ultimately a means to supplant the prevailing US-led regional security structure and restore the Middle Kingdom order, with China as the only power that matters in the region. According to this view, once China has complete control of the regional logistics hubs and sea ports, this will severely limit the autonomy of China's neighbors, including South Korea, who will have to toe the Chinese line, both economically and politically, or risk their own peace and prosperity.
