화물터미널 운영 특성에 따른 택배영업소 수주 마감시간 결정 (Determination of Cut-off Time for Express Service Centers According to Operational Characteristics of Consolidation Terminal)

  • While demands for express service are rapidly increasing according to recent progress of electronic commerce, express service companies are struggling to take a larger delivery service market share through ongoing improvement in their service processes. Extension of cut-off time for express service centers can provide the express company with increase of total sales, but it may also cause to increase the possibility not to satisfy customer needs due to work delay in the consolidation terminal. Therefore, compromised decision for cut-off time of each service center should be made by taking operation characteristics of the consolidation terminal into account. This study suggests an approach for determining the cut-off time for express service centers according to operational characteristics of the consolidation terminal with the objective of maximizing expected incremental sales. The problem defined in this study can be represented as two successive models; one is an integer programing model in which the best cut-off time for each sales center are determined, and the other is a single machine scheduling model in which a working schedule in the consolidation terminal is obtained. A genetic algorithm is developed to solve the two models simultaneously. Finally, an example problem is carried out to verify applicability and performance of the algorithm with the data set collected from an express company.

  • Robotic Drilling Systems(RDSs) set the standard for the factory automation systems in aerospace manufacturing. With the benefits of cost effective drilling and predictive maintenance, RDSs can provide greater flexibility in the manufacturing process. The system can be easily adopted to manage very complex and time-consuming processes, such as automated fastening hole drilling processes of large aircraft sections, where it would be difficult accomplished by workers following teaching or conventional guided methods. However, in order to build an RDS based on a CAD model, the precise calibration of the Tool Center Point(TCP) must be performed in order to define the relationships between the fastening-hole target and the End Effector(EEF). Based on the kinematics principle, the robot manipulator requires a new method to correct the 3D errors between the CAD model of the reference coordinate system and the actual measurements. The system can be called as a successful system if following conditions can be met; a. seamless integration of the industrial robot controller and the IO Level communication, b. performing pre-defined drilling procedures automatically. This study focuses on implementing a new technology called iGPS into the fastening-hole-drilling process, which is a critical process in aircraft manufacturing. The proposed system exhibits better than 100-micron 3D accuracy under the predefined working space. Based on the proposed EEF fastening-hole machining process, the corresponding processes and programs are developed, and its feasibility is studied.

수준별 유아수업설계모형이 유아교사의 전문성 발달에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Differentiated Instruction Design Model for Early Childhood on Development of Teacher's Professionalism)

  • This study which is an alternative exploration for improving the quality level of instruction considering the perception of the teachers in early childhood education field on instructional design is to develop Differentiated Instructional Design Model coincides with the purpose of differentiated instruction curricula and with instructional design principles, and to find out whether the model has significant effect on development of teacher's professionalism. With these purposes, the perception of 343 teachers from early childhood education institutions are investigated, and after component variables are set by drawing the instructional design model available in early childhood education field and reviewing the literature of differentiated instruction model, the Differentiated Instructional design Model for Early Childhood are developed based on FGI(Focus Group Interview) expert evaluation. The experimental study of 88 teachers working in childcare facilities was implemented for effectiveness verification. As a result, first, most teachers consider the priority on making the lesson plans as the development of early childhood and Kindergarten Educational Subjects, and they realize the development of instructional design model which contributes on lesson planning and implementation is much needed. Second, the Differentiated Instructional design Model for Early Childhood are developed, which consists of the cyclic process - pre-lesson phase, lesson implementation phase, and assessment phase -based on development characteristics of early childhood. Third, the experiment of the developed model showed that the scores of experimental group is significantly higher than those of comparative group in knowledge and technique development aspect, and self-understanding development aspect among the aspects of development of teacher's professionalism.

점탄성유체의 저항 및 열전달 감소현상과 퇴화의 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Drag and Heat Transfer Reduction Phenomena and Degradation Effects of the Viscoelastic Fluids)

  • The drag and heat transfer reduction phenomena and degradation effects of drag reducing polymer solutions which are known as the viscoelastic fluids are investigated experimentally for the turbulent circular tube flows. Two stainless steel tubes are used for the experimental flow loops. Aqueous solutions of Polyacrylamide Separan AP-273 with concentrations from 300 to 1000 wppm are used as working fluids. Flow loops are set up to measure the friction factors and heat transfer coefficients of test tubes in the once-through system and the recirculating flow system. Test tubes are heated by power supply directly to apply constant heat flux boundary conditions on the wall. Capillary tube viscometer and falling ball viscometer are used to measure the viscous characteristics of fluids and the characteristic relaxation time of a fluid is determined by the Powell-Eyring model. The order of magnidude of the thermal entrance length of a drag reducing polymer solution is close to the order of magnitude of the laminar entrance length of Newtonian fluids. Dimensionless heat transfer coefficients of the viscoelastic non-Newtonian fluids may be represented as a function of flow behavior index n and newly defined viscoelastic Graetz number. As degradation continues viscosity and the characteristic relaxation time of the testing fluids decrease and heat transfer coefficients increase. The characteristic relaxation time is used to define the Weissenberg number and variations of friction factors and heat transfer coefficients due to degradation are presented in terms of the Weissenberg number.

3차원 인체치수 조사 자료의 품질 개선을 위한 연구 (A Study for Quality Improvement of Three-dimensional Body Measurement Data)

  • To inspect the quality of data collected from a large-scale body measurement and investigation project, it is necessary to establish a proper data editing process. The three-dimensional body measurement may have measuring errors caused from measurer's proficiency or changes in the subject's posture. And it may also have errors caused in the process of algorithm expressing the information obtained from the three-dimensional scanner into numerical values, and in the course of data-processing dealing with numerous data for individuals. When those errors are found, the quality of the measured data is deteriorated, and they consequently reduce the quality of statistics which was conducted on the basis of it. Therefore this study intends to suggest a new way to improve the quality of the data collected from the three-dimensional body measurement by proposing a working procedure identifying data errors and correcting them from the whole data processing procedure-collecting, processing, and analyzing- of the 2004 Size Korea Three-dimensional Body Measurement Project. This study was carried out into three stages: Firstly, we detected erroneous data by examining of logical relations among variables under each edit rule. Secondly, we detected suspicious data through independent examination of individual variable value by sex and age. Finally, we examined scatter-plot matrix of many variables to consider the relationships among them. This simple graphical tool helps us to find out whether some suspicious data exist in the data set or not. As a result of this study, we detected some erroneous data included in the raw data. We figured out that the main errors are not because of the system errors that the three-dimensional body measurement system has but because of the subject's original three-dimensional shape data. Therefore by correcting some erroneous data, we have enhanced data quality.

사운드 데이터의 3D 시각화 방법 (Method for 3D Visualization of Sound Data)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 사운드 데이터를 3차원 입체 이미지로 시각화하는 방법을 제공하는 것이다. 사운드 데이터의 시각화는 사운드데이터의 음역채널을 텍스트베이스형태의 스크립트 제작한 후 설정된 알고리즘에 따라 수행한다. 알고리즘은 음역 채널 설정단계, 사운드 시각화용 화면프레임 설정단계, 단위 입체이미지 구현체 특성정보 설정단계, 사운드 데이터 음역 채널 검출단계, 사운드 시각화단계등 총 5단계로 이루어지며, 마우스등의 입력장치로 최소한된 입력신호조작으로 3D 시각화를 수행한다. 일반적인 방법으로 애니메이터가 할 수 없는 양을 가진 사운드 파일을 이용해, 애니메이터가 작업하는 시간과 제시한 연구방법을 이용한 작업시간을 비교하여, 본 연구에서 제시한 3D 시각화 방법이 창의적 예술적 이미지를 제작에 저비용, 고효율 방법임을 부각하였다. 향후, 게임엔진에서 렌더링 과정을 거치지 않는 방법으로 사운드 데이터의 실시간 시각화 방법을 연구할 예정이다.

  • 본 연구는 제조업의 위기탈출을 위한 새로운 방법을 제시하고자 현장 중심적 경영혁신 추진 내용을 정성적 성과와 정량적 성과로 나누어 살펴보았다. 현장 중심적 경영혁신은 관리자 중심의 관리방식에서 현장관리사원 중심의 관리 방식으로 전환하여 현장관리 사원이 당면한 문제점을 신속히 해결해가도록 도와주고 지원해 주는 조직으로 현장경영 교육을 통해서 일과 일이 아닌 것을 구분, 자신이 하고 있는 일의 낭비요인을 찾아 개선하고 고객의 요구에 맞추어 공정기준을 설정한다. 현장관리사원은 작업을 하기 전에 내가 할 일의 공정기준을 정확히 숙지하고, 사용할 원자재의 규격이 일치하는지 자주 검사를 실시하고, 자주 검사를 실시 후 규격을 검토하여 이상이 없으면 다음 공정에 인계해 주는 방법으로 교차 검증을 실시한다. 본 연구결과를 통해 제조기업의 경쟁력 제고를 위해 유용하게 활용될 수 있다. 급변하는 국제적 경영환경 변화에 적응하기 위해 새로운 경영혁신 기법이 요구되는 바, 본 연구가 이를 위한 또 하나의 시사점을 제공한 데 그 의의가 있다.

가상화 환경에서 동적 임계치 기반 가상 머신 이주 기법 (A Migration Method of Virtual Machines based Dynamic Threshold in Virtualization Environments)

  • 가상화 환경에서는 물리적 자원을 여러 가상 머신이 같이 사용한다. 그러나 특정 가상 머신이 컴퓨팅 자원을 많이 쓰면 다른 가상 머신들이 동작하지 못하게 된다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위한 다양한 방법이 있다. 이 중 대표적인 것이 특정의 가상 머신을 다른 서버(이 서버를 타겟 서버라고 함)에 이주시키는 방법이다. 이는 가상 머신을 타겟 서버에 이주시키면서 서버의 과부하가 전이되는 현상이 있고, 가상 머신을 다시 다른 서버로 이주시켜야 하는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 동적으로 임계치를 적용하여 이주 대상을 결정하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 동적 임계치를 적용한 이주 알고리즘은 다음과 같은 특징을 가진다. 첫째, 서버의 CPU, 네트워크, 그리고 메모리 등의 자원 사용률의 변화에 따라 동적으로 임계치를 적용한다. 둘째, 서버에서 임계치를 초과한 자원을 기준으로 가상 머신 집합과 타겟 서버를 결정한다. 셋째, 타겟 서버의 자원 사용률을 기준으로 가상 머신을 결정한다.

항만경쟁력 제고를 위한 항만교역량 예측 (Forecasting the Port Trading Volumes for Improvement of Port Competitive Power)

  • 항만산업의 발전은 저렴하고 효율적인 서비스 제공을 가능하게 함으로써 자국 경제발전을 지원하는 기능을 하는 동시에 독립된 산업으로 부가가치 및 고용창출을 기대할 수 있다. 그러나 국내 주요 항만들은 대내의적인 여건의 변화로 항만교역량 증가세가 둔화되고 있으며 국내 항만의 여건악화는 일시적인 현상이라기보다는 구조적인 현상이라는 점에 문제의 심각성이 있다. 즉, 향후 주요 항만들의 교역량 증가세가 회복될 가능성이 크지 않다는 것이 일반적인 견해이며, 역내 물류중심 기능을 수행할 수 있을 것인지에 대한 회의론 마저 대두되고 있는 실정이다. 항만개발에 소요되는 시간과 재원은 막대하다. 특히 신항개발의 경우 최소 10년 이상의 장기수요 전망 하에 개발계획의 수립이 이루어진다. 따라서 개발계획의 기본이 되는 교역량의 예측의 중요성은 최근 교역량과 관련한 대외적인 환경 변화에 따라 중요성이 더욱 부각되고 있다. 이처럼 산업이 고도화되고 구조도 급격히 변화되고 있는 시대 흐름에 비추어 정확한 물동량예측은 유용하게 이용될 수 있다. 따라서 본고에서는 승법계절 ARIMA모형을 이용하여 국내항만과 중국항만간의 교역량 변화를 예측해보고, 이러한 예측을 통하여 우리나라 항만의 역할과 경쟁력을 갖추기 위한 필요성이 제기됨에 따라 항만의 교역량 중대를 위한 항만활성화 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

스털링 엔진에 대한 스크롤 팽창기 : 압축기의 적용성 (Applicability of Scroll Expander-compressor for Stirling Engine)

  • Conceptual design of scroll expander and scroll compressor for 10kW-class Stirling engine utilizing solar energy as heat source has been carried out to estimate the applicability of scroll mechanism for Stirling cycle. CO2 was chosen as working fluid, since it has lower expansion index and higher density among probably usable gases. Gas temperature at the expander inlet was set at $700^{\circ}C$, and that at the compressor inlet was at $40^{\circ}C$. System efficiency reached maximum at the pressure ratio of about 2.5, and the peak efficiency increased with increasing high side pressure. Due to safety concern, the pressure condition of 6 MPa/2.5 MPa was chosen as design condition. Orbiting scroll members for the expander and compressor were designed to have double-sided structure in order to reduce the overall scroll size and to cancel out the axial gas forces acting on the orbiting scroll base plate. By parametric study on the scroll profile, smaller possible size for the scroll members was obtained. With the shaft speed of 3600rpm, the shaft output of the designed scroll expander was calculated to be 45.4kW, while input power for the scroll compressor was 34.5kW, yielding 10.9kW for the output power of the Stirling engine. System efficiency was estimated to be about 7.3%, and overall efficiencies of the scroll expander and compressor were around 84.1% and 88.3%, respectively.
