The Effect of Job Stress of 119 Paramedics on Job Satisfaction : city of ChungCheong center area

  • The purpose of this study is to confirm the general characteristics of 119 paramedics who are treating early emergency patients and to confirm the relationship between job stress and job satisfaction and to examine the effect of stress on satisfaction, a questionnaire survey was conducted on 365 paramedics in four Chungcheong provinces. The reliability of the job stress tool was Cronbach α = .87. The job satisfaction tool was Cronbach α = .84. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS WIN 18.0 program. There were differences among the sub - variables of general characteristics, but the general characteristics excluding academic ability were less correlated with job stress, and job satisfaction was higher when the subjects' age, number of dispatches and field hours were smaller. Job stress was found to be low when stress was high on first aid, dispatch, transport, medical guidance, conflicts and emergencies excluding partners. To reduce job stress of 119 paramedics, it is recommended to provide institutional support and education to improve the ability to recruit new emergency personnel and to provide emergency medical care and guidance because of diversification of dispatch methods and appropriate stress management.

Relationship between Self-leadership, Self-efficacy and Impowerment in Nursing students (간호대학생의 셀프리더십, 자기효능감 및 임파워먼트의 관계)

  • The study was to identify the mediating effect of Self-efficacy between Self-leadership and Impowerment in the Nursing students. The study was conducted from 02nd March to 29th March. The data was collected using structural questionnaire from 166 nursing students in 2 Nursing department in D city. The data was analyzed by SPSS/WIN 19.0, AMOS 19.0 and Sobel Test. The mean value of were as follows: self-leadership 3.36, Self-efficacy 3.02, Impowerment 3.28. There was positive relationship between self-leadership and Self-efficacy(r=.306, p<.001), self-leadership and Impowerment(r=.291, p<.001) and between Self-efficacy and Impowerment(r=.559, p<.001). This study confirmed that Self-efficacy had a mediating effect on the relationship between self-leadership and Impowerment. To improve Self-efficacy, enhancing self-leadership and Impowerment is required.

Moderating Effect of wealth and love in all the relationships between self-esteem and maladaptive behaviors of youth (청소년의 자아존중감과 부적응행동 간 관계에서 부와 모애착의 조절효과)

  • This study investigated the relationship between self-esteem and the maladaptive behavior of the youth and examined the moderating effects of father attachment and mother attachment in the relationship of self-esteem and maladaptive behavior. Utilizing SPSS win18.0 program for data analysis, after carrying out descriptive statistics analysis and a simple correlation analysis, hierarchical multiple regression analysis was performed to investigate the interaction model, the primary purpose of this study. The results of this study are as follows. First, the relationship of both self-esteem and maladaptive behaviors of adolescents was significant in the negative direction. Second, father attachment showed no moderation effect in the relationship between self-esteem and maladaptive behavior of adolescents. Third, mother attachment played a quantitative moderating role in the relationship of self-esteem and maladaptive behaviors of adolescents. This study suggested the implication to reduce youth maladaptive behavior in the base of these results.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate how menu management effect on job efficiency at a hotel restaurant. Target standardization amount is needed to set for effective menu management to give quality menu toward customers to do that bring effective job efficiency. The survey is conducted to employees who are working at hotel restaurant. To verify the hypotheses, set this study up frequency analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, and linear regression analysis. The collected questionnaires were analyzed through statistical package SPSS WIN 12.0. Moreover, adjusting regression analysis using multiplying matrix was carried to obtain the results of effectiveness. The results show that menu management is required to apply the target amount of standardization in order to increase the job efficiency. At a menu planning phase, managers are expected to compose menu after having full consultation with employees. During the process, the target standardization amount can play a key role to improve job efficiency. Conclusively, to get effective customer service performance, it is necessary to set the target amount standardization if you are considering a trend and taste of customers who should be kept being adjusted or supplemented in line with a trend.

A convergence study of stress caused by the epidemic of COVID-19, quality of life and positive psychological capital (코로나 바이러스감염증-19 유행으로 인한 스트레스와 삶의 질, 긍정심리자본에 관한 융합적 연구)

  • This study attempted to identify the effects of stress caused by the COVID-19 epidemic on quality of life and the moderating effect of positive psychological capital. The study subjects were 180 adults, and data were collected from April 9 to April 15, 2020. For the collected data, frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis were used using SPSS WIN 23.0 program. As a result of the study, stress caused by the COVID-19 epidemic affected quality of life, and positive psychological capital showed a significant moderating effect. Based on this study, a study is needed to develop a program to mediate a lower quality of life due to stress caused by the COVID-19 epidemic and to verify its effectiveness.

The Effect of Childcare Center Director's Emotional Leadership on Childcare Teachers' Emotional Intelligence and Quality of Life (어린이집원장의 감성리더십이 보육교사의 감성지능과 삶의 질에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of child care center director's emotional leadership on childcare teachers' emotional intelligence and quality of life. For this purpose, this study conducted a questionnaire survey of 277 teachers working at child care centers located in K and J provinces. The data collected for this study were analyzed by frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, Pearson's product moment correlation, and multiple regression using SPSS Win 20.0. The results of the study are as follows. First, it was found that the child care center director's emotional leadership has a significant positive correlation with emotional intelligence, and has a 7.2% influence on child care teachers' emotional intelligence. Second, it was found that the child care center director's emotional leadership has a significant positive correlation with quality of life, and has a 9.9% influence on child care teachers' quality of life. Through these results, this study aims to provide basic data to prepare policy strategies for improving child care teachers' quality of life in terms of child care center director's emotional leadership and childcare teachers' emotional intelligence.

Effects of B2B Transaction fairness Between Travel Agencies on Travel Franchisee's Relationship-orientation and Performance (여행사간 B2B 거래공정성이 가맹여행사의 관계지향성과 성과에 미치는 영향)

  • B2B2C distribution channel between travel agencies, the travel franchiser's fairness become a big issue. So this study examines the effects of B2B transaction fairness between travel agencies on relationship-orientation and travel franchisee's performance. The research results are as follows: First, the most influential factor on the franchisee's performance was found as relationship-orientation factor. Second, among the 3 variable factors of B2B transaction fairness, the most influential factor on the franchisee's relationship-orientation was found as interactional fairness. And procedural fairness was found as next. Third, distributive fairness and interactional fairness were found to have a significant effect on franchisee's financial performance. And distributive fairness and procedural fairness were found to have a significant effect on franchisee's non-financial competency. Conclusively, excellent employees of travel franchiser' are the most valuable factors in B2B2C transactions due to the nature of the travel industry where human services are valued above everything else.

The Effects of Acculturative Stress, Ego-Resilience, and Gender Role Attitudes on Marital Satisfaction of Married Migrant Women (결혼 이주여성의 문화적응스트레스, 자아탄력성, 성역할태도가 결혼만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of the study is to examine the effects of acculturative stress, ego-resilience, and gender role attitude of married migrant women on their marital satisfaction. For the study, a pre-survey was conducted in November 2015 and based on the result, the data collected in this survey over January 2016 through March 2016 was used. SPSS Win 21.0 program was utilized to proceed the analysis for the attributes of variables in marital satisfaction, correlation among variables, and hierarchical regression analysis. 274 subjects around the Multicultural Center users in Geonggi-do were selected as research targets and drew a conclusion as the following results. First, it showed that acculturative stress of married migrant women left a negative effect on the marital satisfaction and had the highest effect on it among the independent variables. Second, both ego-resilience and gender role attitudes influenced positively on the marital satisfaction of married migrant women. The need for program development to reduce acculturative stress and enhance ego-resilience was discussed.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of organizational culture types of hospital and nursing experience on organizational citizenship behaviors of nurses that examined the fitness of a path model. The subject of this study were 368 nurses who were working at 3 hospitals. The data were collected by structured questionnaire from May 1 to June 28 of 2013. Data were analyzed using on SPSS Win 20.0 and AMOS 18.0 program. The results of this study organizational culture types of hospital and nursing experience explained 32% of the variance for organizational citizenship behaviors of nurses. Innovative-oriented organizational culture types of hospital were important factors for affecting organizational citizenship behaviors of nurses. Therefore the nurse manager must establish the strategies to improve who nurses' creative and innovative ideas accepted by the culture to change.

The Effect of Self-efficacy and Occupational Value on Major Satisfaction in Dental Hygiene Students (치위생학 전공 대학생들의 자기효능감과 직업가치가 전공만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of self-efficacy and occupational value in major satisfaction in dental hygiene students. The subjects were 236 dental hygiene students in Gyeonggi-do and Chungcheongnam-do. They filled out self-reported questionnaires that consisted of general characteristics of subject, self-efficacy, occupational value, and major satisfaction. Data were analyzed using SPSS WIN 18.0 and Amos. V18. Sophomore's curriculum satisfaction and perceive satisfaction were higher than freshman's. Group of high self-efficacy was higher than average and low groups in major satisfaction. Group of internal occupational value was higher than group of external and neutral occupational value in curriculum satisfaction, perception satisfaction, and total major satisfaction. The most effective factor on major satisfaction of dental hygiene students was self-efficacy.
