  • The purpose of this paper is to provider an indoor location measuring method, apparatus and Service available for mobile wireless network. This paper introduces positioning technology such as Basic Technology Element and QoS(Quality of Service) etc. of WPS(WiFi Positioning System) for mobile wireless network. An apparatus for sectionalizing an indoor area for indoor location measurement includes several steps. For example, a sector number input step, a sectionalization calculating step, a storing unit step etc. Also, This paper show advance Indoor positioning result.

  • In this paper, we verified the reliability through local examination by introducing a wired network that is operated at the local waterworks to wireless LAN based Wi-Fi network. The adopted wireless network compared to the existing wired network through saving cost and reducing breakdown points have been proven to be effective qualitatively and quantitatively. This study proved that wireless networks could be introduced for the advancement of operations management of existing metropolitan water supply and the local waterworks that are operating currently.

  • LED lighting control technique is one of the ongoing research areas for efficient management of LED lighting. In this paper, we design and implementation of LED street lighting remote control system which have a wired and wireless communication function for LED street lighting remote control. The implemented system can automatically dimming and individual(or consolidated) LED street lighting via RS-485/422 or Wi-Fi. In experimental results, the implemented remote control system was satisfactory for all of the desired functions.

  • Urban railway can be divided into ground and underground sections. In particular, the center of the metropolitan has been built mostly underground stations and tunnels. Underground section is difficult to measure the position because GPS signal is unavailable, so it is necessary to apply the indoor positioning technology. For this purpose, we analyzed the positioning technologies which are based on Wi-Fi and mobile base stations. The positing technology for smart phone which uses mobile base station' information is developed in the underground area of urban railway where the core technique is to implement base station ID into the positing technology by considering hand-off point.

  • In this paper, we propose a fire alarm system that utilizes Wi-Fi to alarm multiple people at once. This system, based on Arduino, uses smoke, flame and temperature sensor units to sense fire and send detection data to a server via wireless communication system. The server uses stored data to relay current fire situations gathered from nearby sensors to smartphones. It also automatically reports the fire using location data from sensors. Using this system, we were able to retrieve fire alarm from sensors via push notification of our smartphone. We also confirmed the establishment of linkage with sensors and automatic report of fire via SMS. From this result, the possibility of sending real-time notifications via the Internet toward nearby smartphones about disasters such as conflagration has been proven to be feasible.

  • We try to build the base for implementation of smart water treatment plant through identifying status by data acquisition such as temperature, humidity, flow, level, pump status and CCTV by using USN terminal such as Zigbee, Wi-Fi, UHF at the center of the flowmeter calibration center in K-water institute. The data obtained from various sensors is transmitted to data processing device through different types of USN network, the processed data is implemented to monitor by smart phone and we try to perform low cost and high efficient USN-based pilot project by implementing remote monitoring system using network performance analysis and mobile devices.

  • In smart factories and industrial IoT, all facilities in a factory are monitored over the Internet, thereby facility can reduce the downtime and increase the availiability by preventive maintenance before it breaks down. The abnormal conditions of the major facilities in the plant are caused by abnormal temperature rise, vibration, and variations in noise. Consequently, it is critical to develop a very small smart device that is easily installed in a small space to enable real-time monitoring of the vibration status of the facility. In this study, smart devices were developed for smart factory fault prediction and robustness management using ultra small micro-controllers with WiFi capabilities and MEMS acceleration sensors.

  • G-Sensor is being used for controlling motion of smart-phone and robot. G-Sensor can control motion to several direction, because it is composed of X, Y, and Z axis and also can be used on many mobile-phone by using Wi-Fi communication and RS-232C communication on the Bluetooth module. In this research, we suggest the application that realize and develop visual-vehicle-remote-control-system by using mobile-phone with G-Sensor so that drivers can more easily remote control and manage their vehicle with mobile-phone in real-time visual.

However, the car' existing phone system, car diagnostic expertise must be learned because it will reveal the status of the vehicle do not have the expertise to not highlight the need for diagnostic. To reflect these points in smartphone users to easily use their own vehicles at a time to determine the status of a system that is required. In this paper, OBD-II protocol conversion WiFi OBD-II connector, retrieving information from the driver of the vehicle replacement cycle of consumables required vehicle inspection, vehicle problems in real-time diagnostic information to the user ease of use shows the iPhone implementation in the automotive supply was implemented based on the smartphone.

  • Recently, smartphone communications using Wi-Fi channel are increasing rapidly to provide diverse internet services. The WPA security protocol was used for data protection between user and wireless AP. However, WPA-PSK protocol was known to be weak to the dictionary attack. In this paper, we proposed a secure WPA-PSK protocol to resist the dictionary attack. Since the proposed method was designed to generate a strong encryption key which is combined the Diffie-Hellman key agreement scheme with secrecy property of PSK(Pre-Shared Key), we can protect the Wi-Fi channel from Man-In-The-Middle attack and Rogue AP impersonation attack.
