Objectives: The purpose of the study was to investigate the choice motivation of dental clinics by patients. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 577 patients visiting the dental clinics from October 6 to 25, 2014 in G city after explaining the purpose of the study and receiving the informed consent. The questionnaire consisted of sociodemographic characteristics and choice motivation of dental clinics using Likert 5 point scale. Results: 1. The traffic convenience was the highest in those who were the 30s (3.37) and unmarried person (3.30). Those having moderate oral health condition showed 3.23. The regular checkup group had 3.33. The physical environment was the highest in the 20s (3.37) and the unmarried persons (3.33). Those having master's degree showed 3.86. The reputation of the dental clinic image was the highest in those having master's degree (3.63). Those having moderate oral health condition had 3.28. The main reason for dental clinic visit was tooth extraction (3.79, p<0.05). 2. The top priority choice for the dental clinic was the access to the dental clinic and the next reason was reputation for the dentist. The other choice factors included trust for the dentist, recommendation, and night treatment. Conclusions: The important choice for the dental clinic included the access to the dental clinic and reputation for the dentist.
The purpose of this study is to verify the path of the motivation, the flow, and problem gambling and intervention points. To this end, we verified the mediation effect of the motivation of the users outside sales offices influences the problem gambling through a flow and the moderated mediation effect of the frequency of the use of a bicycle racing tracks in that process. A total of 411 cases were analyzed using surveys conducted for one day on a weekday and weekend (September 13th and 15th 2018) for adults using an outside sales office in Jangan. According to the analysis, the causality of gambling by gambling motivation(amusement, excitement, avoidance, society, money) showed its effect positively by mediating the flow. The adjusted effect of the frequency of the use on the intermediary effect of the motivation ${\rightarrow}$ flow ${\rightarrow}$ problem gambling behavior, which is the main concern of this study, was found to be statistically significant. More specifically, the effect of adjusting the frequency of the use was statistically significant in both paths: motivation/flow and flow/problem gambling. It was also shown that, in the model with excitement, avoidance and social motivation, the adjustment of the frequency was only significant in the causal relationship between the flow and problem gambling. Based on these findings, this study made clinical and policy suggestions for intervention for gamblers and user protection regulations.

The purpose of this research is to develop basic materials useful for the visiting management policies' establishment of national parks by analyzing the characteristics of and satisfaction with the visit to Hallyeohaesang National Park according to travel routes. For this, a total of 671 visitors to Hallyeohaesang National Park were recruited and field surveys were conducted three times in spring, summer, and fall from March to November 2017. The Hallyeohaesang national park's visitors were surveyed using a self-administered questionnaire about visitor characteristics (ex: motivation of visiting, travel routes, travel time, and participating activities, etc.) and satisfaction (ex: satisfaction with the visit, intention to revisit, and intention to recommend). SPSS 21.0 program was used for the statistical analysis: frequency analysis and independent-samples t-test analysis. As a result of analysis the motivation of visiting, those who visited only Hallyeohaesang National Park (a single destination) showed a mean value statistically significantly higher level in health improvement and vacation, relaxation, and healing compared to those who had visited or would visit other places along with Hallyeohaesang National Park (multi-destinations). Single destination visitors spent less time traveling from home to national park than multi-destinations visitors. Those who visited only Hallyeohaesang National Park (as a single destination) showed a mean value statistically higher satisfaction and intention to revisit and recommend. The results of this research have significance in providing basic materials to develop efficient park management policies by studying the characteristics of Hallyeohaesang National Park visitors.
In order to investigate the relation of subjective complaints to objective course of treatment in pulmonary tuberculosis, one hundred and seventy four cases registered at the University Health Center in Chonnam University were divided into two groups, complaint group and non-complaint group. By analysing the record at the University Health Center during these seven years from 1973 to 1979, following results were obtained: 1. In complaint group who had subjective symtoms, thirty eight cases(77.6%) among forty nine cases were detected. at clinic visit. In non-complaint group who had not any symtoms, one hundred and twenty one cases (96.8%) among one hundred and twenty five cases were detected at compulsive physical examination. 2. Comparisons of complaint group with non-complaint group were not statistically significant in many aspects, but significantly higher cases were discharged at the University Health Center to receive other medical service in complaint group than in non-complaint group. (6.1% vs 0.8%, respectively) On the contrary, non-complaint group refused medication more than two times compared with complaint group in the course of treatment (29.9% vs 12.2%, respectively). 3. In the average time lag from initial diagnosis to initial treatment, comparisons between complaint vs non-complaint group were significant (7.8 vs 28.3 days, respectively). 4. Subjective symptoms were thought to create motivation to receive therapy, and influence of motivation to therapy was strong at initial stage but it become weaker as time passed.

This research was conducted to understand the extent to which visitors to the DMZ Pyeonghwa Nuri-gil Trail(located in one of the most Ecologically Sensitive Areas(ESA) of Korea) are motivated by perceived constraints and loyalty to the trail. Self-administered questionnaires were distributed to the participants of the '2010 DMZ Border Trekking Course', which resulted in collecting 317 valid responses. For statistical tests, the respondents were divided into three clusters(accidental, activity-driven, and nature-driven) by their motivation for the visit. ANOVA was conducted to examine if the three groups differ in terms of the perceived constraints and loyalty to the DMZ Pyeonghwa Nuri-gil Trail. The results showed that nature-driven visitors were more likely to perceive "psychological constraints" than accidental or activity-driven visitors. As for loyalty, accidental visitors displayed the lowest level of loyalty while nature-driven visitors indicated the highest level of loyalty. These results illustrate that nature-driven visitors not only have the strongest desire to experience and learn about ESAs but also possess the highest sense of loyalty to the trail. It can further be argued that nature-driven visitors are the ones with the greatest concern for the trail's well-being. The paper concludes with the contention that understanding the demand and characteristics of trail visitors is critical to the future development of the trail.
This study aims to provide managerial implications for provincial parks through an analysis on visitors' characteristics and motivational factors. The information was collected by surveying 290 visitors. The survey questionnaire consisted of questions regarding visitors' socioeconomic characteristics, characteristics of their travel behavior, visitors' motivation to visit the park, and the degree of satisfaction derived from visiting the park. Results show that most respondents appeared not to collect any information on the park prior to their visit. It was also seen that most visitors do not visit other tourist sites nearby, and are not aware of the Gochang UNESCO biosphere, which indicates that Gochang-gun, which is responsible for park management, needs to make more efforts to promote the park. A factor analysis on the visitors' motivation to visit the park extracted three factors to visit the Seonunsan Provincial Park: 'to hike,' 'to experience and observe nature,' i.e., nature learning field trip and camping, and 'to build and nurture bonding with family and friends.' To examine the effect of these various motivational factors had on the visitors' satisfaction level upon visiting the park, we conducted a multiple regression analysis with the three extracted factors to visit the park and the respondents' socioeconomic characteristics as independent variables, and the degree of recommendation of visiting the park as a dependent variable. The result shows found that, of the three travel factors, only the 'hiking' factor statistically significantly affected the degree of recommendation of visiting the park. This result suggests that the Seonunsan Provincial Park only satisfied hikers and failed to meet the demands for nature experience and observation. It is therefore suggested that the park managers develop new experience-based tourism programs, such as guided tours conducted by professional eco-interpreters.
This study investigated emotional-utilitarian motivation to visit a coffee shop and segmented the market based on motivational factors realizing that coffee is considered as emotional and utilitarian goods in reality. As a result of market segmentation, three groups were identified: emotional consumers, utilitarian consumers, and passive consumers. Choice attributes of visiting a coffee shop according to each group were found to be significantly different. Firstly, emotional consumers highly perceived the importance of the emotional factors such as 'coffee taste and mood', 'special coffee', 'clean space' and also the utilitarian factors such 'price benefit', 'internet access,' etc. Therefore, emotional consumers could be utilitarian one at the same time. On the other hand, utilitarian consumers were highly aware of the importance of 'independent space available for a group meeting', 'degrees of being crowded', and 'facilities such as a bathroom and smoking area.' As for the demographic and the behavioral factors of having coffee, only gender, types of coffee, time and places have a significant relation.
The purpose of this research is to investigate young consumer motivation in regards to shopping mall. Young adults are an emerging age group that has economic autonomy and power of making independent decisions. In addition, this young segment providing an interesting challenges and opportunities for marketing professionals. Therefore, it is pertinent to analyse their shopping motivations, so that the marketers can understand and influence the consumption behaviour of this specific group. A survey using self-administered questionnaire was conducted to assess the mall-directed shopping habits and shopping orientations. A total of 164 usable surveys were obtained. In addition of exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling was applied to prove the hypotheses. We have found that young Australian shoppers were motivated to visit malls primarily by the role enactment and exploration dimensions. They were the strongest motivators which explaining why young Australian consumers patronize malls. Young consumers of Australia enjoyed the mall environment, exploring new things, socializing with friends, comparing prices and the variety of products and services offered. The results of our study have several implications that should be of benefit to the retailing industry and mall management. Developers of malls must develop their mall more than simply a place for buying products. As such, mall management should make sure that their mall atmospherics offer a mall environment that is pleasing to multiple senses, to ensure it is conducive for shoppers to stay and spend more of their time and money. Mall management must execute strategies to maintain their attraction to younger consumers, perhaps by including stores that are futuristic and offer the most advanced styles or technologies, and appeal to somewhat older adults by offering the tenant, entertainment, and experience mix they will prefer. It is recommended that future research utilize random sampling methods to ensure the generalizability of results.

We analyze the tourist satisfaction of the Daegu City Tour which plays a big role in the local tourism boosting through '2011 Visit Daegu Year'. To analyze a causal relation among factors, we proposed a structural equation model consisting of four latent variables of the tour: motivation, expectation, satisfaction, and future behaviors. Using data from the actual tourists of the Daegu City Tour, we found out that tourists' motivation before the tour does not affect tourists' satisfaction after the tour. However those who have higher motivation have positive future behavior and those who have the higher expectation are more satisfied with the tour. Meanwhile, the expectation before the tour does not lead the future behavior but the satisfaction after the tour influences the positive future behavior.
This study was conducted to investigate the optimal management interval in 33 healthy adults by observing changes in oral health on the basis of the plaque control index and gingival index. When plaque control score was compared according to the period, it was found that oral hygiene management was the best in the fourth visit (p<0.05). Improved oral hygiene status was observed during the 3- and 6-month follow-up (p<0.05). Regarding gingival index, the fourth visit showed the healthiest gingival status (p<0.05). At the 3-month follow-up, the gingival index worsened, but a healthy gingival status was attained by 6-month follow-up (p<0.05). The plaque control score according to interest in dental health showed that the 'interested' group had good oral hygiene management (p<0.05). As a motivation for oral hygiene status and gingival health, examination with a 'phase contrast microscope' in the first visit and calculation of the 'evaluation index' in the follow-up visit tended to improve the patients' ability for oral hygiene management (p>0.05). The questionnaire survey showed, that the optimal management interval was 1, 3, and 6 months. As a result, with the effective management interval for the preventive management program focused on professional mechanical tooth cleaning, which was administered weekly, the maximum ability for oral hygiene management was attained at the fourth visit. The effective management period was 1 month. The use of a phase contrast microscope and the calculation of the evaluation index for oral hygiene management could influence the motivation to improve oral hygiene management.
