사용자인식 분석을 통한 캠퍼스 외부공간 개선방향 설정에 관한 사례연구 - 부산시 소재 대학을 중심으로 - (A Case Study on the Exterior Space Improving in University Campus through the Analysis of User's Cognition - Focused on Campuses in Busan City -)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest a basis for exterior space improving in university campus in terms of upgrading the quality of university education environment by analysing user's cognition and physical feature about campus exterior space. For this, this study was survey six major university students in Busan city about perception of campus exterior space, and analyzes the user's cognition by using natural-language vocabulary analysis for qualitative approach. Next, this study analyzes the physical feature of campus exterior space by investigating user's intensive using spaces and preferred, non-preferred spaces in their universities, then propose the improved direction of campus exterior space by comparing the analyzed data of user's cognition and physical feature. A SPSS20 program is used for the data analysis and the sample sizes are 171 college students.

User Experience Measurement for Senior Friendly Product

  • Objective: This study introduces user experience measurement and its application for senior friendly products. Background: Measuring user experience for senior friendly product is very important for its design, but the measurement is not easy. Method: This study was focused on case studies for user experience measurement and its application for senior friendly product. Mobile patient lift and four wheeled walker that assist the old's mobility were studied. User experience was measured through interview and observation method. Result: From measuring the user experience, some usability issues were identified for the products. A method to apply QFD(quality function deployment) in design process was proposed. A design prototype was also developed considering user experience. Conclusion: User experience measurement for senior friendly products is key process for user centered design. Application: The method and result of this study can be applied to user experience measurement and design of senior friendly product.

  • 전 세계적으로 빠르게 발전하는 모빌리티 플랫폼 서비스에 대해 사례와 유형 분석의 연구가 많이 진행되어 있다. 하지만, 실제 사용자의 경험이 모빌리티 서비스 발전에 중요하기 때문에 사용자 측면에서의 연구가 필요하다. 모빌리티 플랫폼 서비스에서도 카헤일링(Car-hailing)에 한정하여, 사용자 경험의 7가지 측면에서 선호도 요인을 설문을 통해 분석하였다. 연구 결과 성별에 따라 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 여성은 안전함과 차량의 쾌적함, 친절함이 만족도에 큰 영향을 미치는 요인인 반면, 남성은 익숙함이 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인임을 확인하였다. 이 연구는 실제 사용자인 고객 경험에 초점을 두고 모빌리티 플랫폼 서비스를 선택하는 주요 요인을 파악하였으므로, 향후 모빌리티 플랫폼 서비스의 발전에 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.

User Behavior of Mobile Enterprise Applications

  • Organizations have been implementing mobile applications that actually connect to their backend enterprise applications (e.g. ERP, SCM, etc.) in order to increase the enterprise mobility. However, most of the organizations are still struggling to fully satisfy their mobile application users with the enterprise mobility. Even though it has been regarded as the right direction that the traditional enterprise system should move on, the studies on the success model for mobile enterprise applications in user's acceptance perspective can hardly be found. Thus, this study focused not only to redefine the success of the mobile enterprise application in user's acceptance persepective, but also to find the impacts of the factors on user's usage behavior of the mobile enterprise applications. In order to achieve this, we adopted the Technology Acceptance Model 2 (TAM2) as a model to figure out the user's behavior on mobile applications. Among various mobile enterprise applications, this study chose mobile ERP since it is the most representing enterprise applications that many organizations have implemented in their backend. This study found that not all the constructs defined by Davis in TAM2 have a significant influence on user's behavior of the mobile-ERP applications. However, it is also found that most social influence processes of TAM2 influence user's perception of the degree of interaction by mobile-ERP applications.

MMORPG의 사용자생성콘텐츠에 관한 연구 -게임플레이와 게임디자인 과정을 중심으로- (A Study on User Created Content of MMORPG -Focused on the Process of Game Play and Game Design-)

  • 최근 MMORPG의 사용자생성콘텐츠를 중심으로 MMORPG의 발전방향에 대한 다양한 논의가 이루어지고 있다. 사용자생성콘텐츠는 IC사용자제작콘텐츠, IC사용자창작콘텐츠, OOC사용자제작콘텐츠, OOC사용자창작콘텐츠의 네 가지 유형으로 나뉠 수 있다. 마크르블랑이 제시한 게임디자인과 게임플레이 과정에서의 메커니즘, 다이나믹, 미학은 각 유형에 따라 다르게 나타난다. 따라서 사용자생성콘텐츠의 각 유형은 게임플레이과정에 흐르는 사용자의 각기 다른 욕망을 읽어내는 지표가 될 수 있고 이는 게임디자인과정에서 중요한 요소로 활용될 수 있다. 결국 MMORPG의 사용자생성콘텐츠는 게임디자인과 게임플레이 사이, IC문화와 OOC문화 사이의 상호작용을 이끌어내는 역할을 수행한다.

  • Enterprise Architecture has become a key tool for transforming business process, data, IT and application resources. The "Efficient Adaptation and Management of Information System Act" was established to support the planning and development of the information system in order for the public sector to adopt Information Technology Architecture (EA) into its organization through the act. Until now, the study of EA has been mainly focused on concepts, methodologies and success factors for the implementation of EA. User involvement, which is one of the critical factors in adopting information systems, has been rarely studied in the field of EA research. The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of user characteristics on user involvement in EA implementation. After discussing intrinsic motivators and situational motivators as predictors of user involvement, a research model were developed and tested using survey data. The results showed that among intrinsic motivators, perceived competence had a strong positive effect on user involvement. Some implications were discussed for implementing and utilizing EA for public agencies.

모바일 오피스의 품질 요인이 이용자 만족에 미치는 영향 : 이용 행태와 직무 특성을 중심으로 (The Effect of Mobile Office Service Quality Factors on the User Satisfaction : Focused on Usage and Job Characteristics)

  • This study based on DeLone and McLean's IS success model aims to identify mobile office service factors affecting user satisfaction. The result of analysis showed that user satisfaction was positively related to job performance, and mobility and information quality affects user satisfaction. In addition to that, we carried out separated hypotheses test to investigate mobile office service factors depending on usage(frequently used functions) and job characteristics classified generally as either primary or support activities. As a result of this research, somewhat different results were derived. The main results of this study are that mobility is the most important factor affecting user satisfaction, and mobile office services should be more strictly guaranteed in quality especially if it supports primary activities of customer companies such as sales.

  • 갈수록 복잡화, 대량화되고 있는 시스템의 성능은 유지하면서 User Response Time 을 단축시키는 Tuning 은 투자 대비 이익률(ROI : Return On Investment)에 탁월한 효과를 가져온다는 점에서 중요시 되고 있다. 본 연구는 SAP R/3 System 환경에서 Tuning 통한 User Response Time 감소를 위하여 Query 분석 및 Table Index 생성, Program Logic 수정, Parallel Processing, SAP R/3 System 의 고유 기능인 Notes 적용을 통한 User Response Time 감소 기법을 제시한다.

Universal User Interface Design of ATM Touch Screen Based on the Reaction Time

  • Objective: This study is concerned with the user interface (UI) design of touch screen based on the reaction time of Automated Teller Machine (ATM) user. Background: Adopting the touch screen technology, the ATM service has recently established a new user interface different from the existing button-type interface. Method: Experiments were conducted by simulating ATM touch screen layouts, and layouts were focused on location of menu buttons (left and right, top and bottom), number of menu buttons (8 and 12 buttons). Results: The results show that there are significant differences in correction ratio and reaction time by user groups, types of menu location, and the number of buttons. Conclusion and Applications: The results of this study can be used to provide baseline information for the interface design of ATM touch screen and the age differences in reaction time.

전자정부 웹사이트의 지각된 유용성이 이용만족도와 재방문에 미치는 영향 (Perceived Usability of e-Government Web Sites Affecting the User Satisfaction and the Revisiting)

  • The previous studies regarding the usability evaluation of e-government web sites focused only on deriving affecting factors and variables. They did not find the relationship of usability, user satisfaction and revisiting. The objective of this paper is to find the causal effect how the usability of e-government web sites affect to the user satisfaction and the revisiting attitude. no scope of e-government web sites included the portal site and ie liked web sites. We developed a structural equation model and performed a user test. As a result, a perceived usability affected the revisiting, but it did not intermediate the user satisfaction.
