Estimation of Proportion to Decentralized Rainwater Management Needed in Apartment Complex Development (공동주택단지 개발에서의 분산식 빗물관리 목표량 설정 - 택지개발사업지구 내 단지를 대상으로 -)

  • The recent emphasis on ecological urban development has led to the need to maintain a hydrologic cycle in urban areas. As such, this study proposes decentralized rainwater management, a concept of onsite rainwater management that involves the utilization, infiltration, detention, and retention of rainwater. The main objective of this research is to estimate the proportion of decentralized rainwater management that is needed. From the research that was conducted in this study, it was found that the total runoff quantity increases by 10-20% after district lands are developed, when the probable rate of precipitation every 10 years is within this range. Thus, the runoff rate can be reduced by 10~20% of the total runoff quantity through decentralization. On the other hand, in the scale of housing complex development, the total runoff quantity increases by as much as 10~40% due to the changes in the rate of the impervious surface area. If 10-40% of the total runoff quantity was processed through decentralized rainwater management, the rate of infiltration, detention, retention, and runoff in precipitation prior to development could be recovered.

  • Until today, rainwater management was processed without disposing the peak discharge, which was due to rainfall, to provide stability against flood damage. In this process, the natural hydrologic cycle changed quickly, and because of this, some problems that could harm human beings and the environment arose. These problems need to be addressed accordingly. One of the proposals was to carry out decentralized rainwater management through a natural hydrologic cycle on site, including utilization, infiltration, detention, and retention of rainwater. This study aims to set the direction of applicable decentralized rainwater management to housing complex in Korea. Therefore, spacial properties in urban housing complexes were analysed such as the impervious area-to-land ratio, the green area-to-land ratio, artificial land-to-land ratio etc. As the result of this study, when a housing complex was small and developed by reconstruction, the impervious area, artificial land, the green area in the artificial land-to-land ratio were high. So, direction of decentralized rainwater management of these housing complexes is available to utilize and detain rainwater. On the other hand, those of big housing complexes in land development district were low relatively. So, direction of decentralized rainwater management of these housing complexes is available to infiltrate and evaporate rainwater.

  • The city means not only a geographical area as a role of the spatial boundary, but also a socio-economic place to communicate with each area. It requires various functions to get the income and economic-activities. But city has a limitation of a available land to provide the required functions and a sufficient space to supply the urban activity. Therefore, the development trend of city has not been to spread to the horizontal area any more and considered the vertical area. In addition, various functions put into a massive building because many people want to solve the daily requirements without spending time and cost in outer area. In this paper, it aimed at classifying the mixed-use building into function, circulation, relation according to the public and private space and the building shape to provide the design information such as land area, functional complex, accessibility, etc.. The classification of the mixed-use buildings is divided into four areas. The data are collected with foreign countries in Japan, Europe and US. Results of the study are as follows; First, the commercial function is mainly centered with other functions. Second, after studied the development scale, accessibility, building form, the commercial and residential area overwhelmly share at the total area.

  • Korea Rail Network Authority ordered Urban Transit Magrev System on the alternative tender lines. The project was contained order with GS Construction and Yooshin Corporation as a result of competition as 5 consortium. Urban Transit Magrev System route was constructed in the whole Yeongjong-dong and Yongyu-dong, Jung-gu, Inchen. The main project is via transportation center in Inchen Int'l airport ~ Work complex ~ Water park ~ Yongyu-station and has Total continuation of 6.1kilometers, Station of 6 spot, Car base of a spot, go out line(a single line) of 380meters. Scale of construction is Major of Roadbed, Railroad, Building, Inspection and Repair facilities. The first Urban Transit Magrev System in Korea is a new symbol of Korea and has polished beauty and creative artistry based on functional perfection. It was designed in harmony with Inchen Int'l Airport improving the dignity of SOC design.

  • Mix-used development in urban renewal project is done to effectively utilize the limited downtown. Generally unlike a single project, It features placing a large number of different facilities(residential, commercial, business, cultural, etc.) which is each other organically linked. The purpose of this study is to suggest the method of modeling guide for 3D preliminary cost estimation considering visual and intuitive judgement of space in mix-used development Urban Renewal project. In this research, introducing SME(Standard Module and Element) breakdown structure, FID(Finish Identity) for estimating building space unit-based quantity take off was implemented. It could narrow the discrepancy of opinion between the stakeholders with more accurate cost-estimates, comparing to the traditional methods.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the school location decision direction for land use planning of public land development. And this research proposed the school location decision direction for urban amenity. So this research present the implication on urban planning and design for architecture, park-school complex. This study perform the relationship with land use planning out side environment of school land. This research proved the fact that the school land relationship with the park, the other school land etc. And this result will be used in decision-making-process of land use planning, public land development construction, urban design and city policy.

  • Urban transit is system that offer target Performance and function because various lower part system such as vehicles, signaling, power supply, rail track is consisted as complex. It is important first of all that describe correctly system requirement until configuration of system, design, manufacture, installation and test verification so that the complicated urban transit system is to act safety and reliable and to display target Performance and function properly. The system requirement assist the system developer to comprehensive the performance and function of system in basic design.   • The assessment of an urban site depends on the way it responds to multiple needs such as functionality, aesthetic and complex comfort of acoustic, thermal, lighting and air quality This study aims to investigate the assessment of various urban soundscapes in the sense of acoustic amenity by the questionnaires. As a result, acoustic amenity assessment was influenced by the non-acoustic factors such as environment assessment of visual, thermal, air quality etc.. And it was shown that the subjects tend to perceive the noise level less than 3$\sim$10dB L$_{Aeq}$ under the similar noise exposure level according to the urban landscapes.

  • In this paper, we construct a prototype model for city data prediction by using time series data of floating population, and use machine learning to analyze urban data of complex structure. A correlation prediction model was constructed using three of the 10 data (total flow population, male flow population, and Monday flow population), and the result was compared with the actual data. The results of the accuracy were evaluated. The results of this study show that the predicted model of the floating population predicts the correlation between the predicted floating population and the current state of commerce. It is expected that it will help efficient and objective design in the planning stages of architecture, landscape, and urban areas such as tree environment design and layout of trails. Also, it is expected that the dynamic population prediction using multivariate time series data and collected location data will be able to perform integrated simulation with time series data of various fields.
