C대학 치위생과 학생들의 대학생활 만족도 조사연구 (A Study on Satisfaction of Campus Life by Students at the Dept. of Dental Hygiene, C University)

  • This study is to provide basic materials for the purpose of maximizing satisfaction of university students with campus life and ensuring competitiveness of university by establishing educational conditions to make university students adapt themselves to campus life, enhancing their satisfaction with campus life and making and executing improvement methods of areas showing low satisfaction with campus life and selects 210 students studying dental hygiene at C university in Jeonnam region as subjects of research and as a result of examining their satisfaction with campus life and department using questionnaire, the following conclusions are obtained. 1. Subjects of research are 39.6% at the first grade, 38.1% at the second grade and 22.3% at the third grade, 51.0% of subjects graduated from academic high school, 70.3% lived in lent house or dormitory, 85.6% had normal health state and 60.4% had good personal relationship with schoolmates. 2. On information of dental hygiene before admission, 50.5% of subjects had it a little. On the Source of information in selecting department, 21.8% was through internet, on the period of selecting department, 33.2% was before application and on motivation of selecting department, 33.2% was because of good employment. 3. On satisfaction with this university, 46.0% answered normal, 34.2% answered they were dissatisfied with university and reasons of such a dissatisfaction were environment around school at 23.3% and scholarship and welfare system at 21.3%. On academic results, 58.4% marked average. On club activity, 82.7% didn't join in any club activity and on their current great trouble, 53.5% answered passing national qualification examination. 4. On satisfaction with department of dental hygiene, 57.4% answered that they were satisfied with their department and 19.3% were dissatisfied with it. On reasons of their dissatisfaction with department, 35.4% answered it was because of poor facility and 20.8%, difficult curriculum. On requirements of professors at department of dental hygiene, 51.5% wanted to have personal contact with their professors. 5. On motivation of employment, 50.5% was for economic reason. On areas desired, 44.1% was dental clinic and on standard of choosing job, 40.1% was job with high salary. On period of employment desired, 75.7% said they wanted to continue to work. 6. There were significant differences at satisfaction with campus life according to grade(p<0.01) and between campus life and satisfaction with department depending on health state(p<0.05). 7. There was statistically significant difference in satisfaction with department according to academic results(p<0.05).

불안척도에 의한 대학생의 정신건강 평가 (A Study on Anxiety in College Students)

  • 영남대학교에 재학하고 있는 남녀 대학생 중 5,869명(남대생 : 3,893명, 여대생 : 1,976명)을 조사 표본으로 Zung의 불안척도를 사용하여 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 불안성적의 평균점수는 남대생 $36.92{\pm}7.07$, 여대생 $39.63{\pm}7.51$이며 남녀 대학생 간에 유의한 차이를 보였다(P<0.001). 불안의 항목별 성적은 남녀 공통적 으로 발한, 우려, 안절부절, 불면, 호흡곤란에서 높았으며 이상감각, 정신적 붕괴, 진전, 졸도감, 현훈 등은 낮았다. 그러나 남녀간의 비교에서는 여대생이 더 심하고 다양한 증상을 나타내었다. 불안성적 분포상 50점 이상인 경우는 남대생의 5.2%, 여대생의 10.2%로 여대생에서 고득점자가 많았다. 남대생에서는 학년이 올라갈 수록 불안성적이 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 여대생에서는 기숙사와 기타 형태로 거주하는 경우 및 형제자매가 학비를 부담하는 경우에 불안 성적이 높았다. 남녀 모두 자신의 소속학파나 대학에 불만이 있는 경우 및 과거, 현재, 미래의 자기상이 비관적인 경우에 불안성적이 높았다.

한국 대학생과 중국 대학생의 식행동 및 간식 섭취 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on the Dietary Behaviors and Snack Intake between Korean and Chinese College Students)

  • 본 연구에서는 한국과 중국 대학생의 식행동 및 간식 섭취 실태를 비교하고자 한국 서울에 소재 대학 재학생 267명, 중국 산동성 소재 대학 재학생 253명 총 520명을 대상으로 건강 생활습관, 식행동, 간식 및 야식 섭취실태, 식생활 평가를 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과 거주 형태에서 한국 대학생은 자택, 중국 대학생은 기숙사가 가장 높았다. 건강 생활습관은 중국 대학생이 한국 대학생보다 운동 횟수는 높고, 음주, 흡연 및 카페인 섭취는 낮은 경향이었다. 식행동은 한국 대학생이 중국 대학생보다 아침을 안 먹는 경향이었고, 한국과 중국 대학생 모두 시간이 없어서 아침을 결식하는 경우가 높았다. 간식 섭취 빈도는 한국과 중국 대학생 모두 주 1~3회 정도였고, 섭취이유로 한국 대학생은 배가 고파서, 중국 대학생은 습관적으로 섭취하는 경향으로 나타났다. 야식 섭취 빈도는 한국 대학생이 중국 대학생보다 높았고, 배가 고파서 야식을 섭취하는 경향으로 나타났다. 전반적인 식생활 평가 점수는 한국 대학생보다 중국 대학생이 높았다. 따라서 본 연구는 한국 대학생과 중국 대학생의 전반적인 식생활을 비교하였고, 향후 양국 대학생의 건강을 위한 바람직한 식습관을 형성할 수 있는 교육프로그램 개발에 유용한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다.

정신증적 척도에 의한 대학생의 정신건강 평가 (A Study on Psychoticism in College Students)

  • 영남대학교에 재학중인 5,869명 (남대생 3,893명, 여대생 1,976명)을 대상으로 정신증 척도를 사용하여 평가한 결론은 다음과 같다. 정신증 척도의 총점은 남대생 $6.81{\pm}5.13$, 여대생 $8.14{\pm}5.05$으로 여대생이 유의하게 높은 성적을 보였다 (P<0.001). 정신증척도의 항목별 성적은 운항 (6) 성문제(sexual problemes)를 제외하고 모두가 여대생에서 유의하게 높은 성적을 보였다. 정신증척도의 성적분포는 20점 이상의 고득점자가 남대생 88명 (2.4%), 여대생 63명 (3.2%)으로 여대생에서 다소 높은 성적을 보였다. 정신증적 경향과 관련된 사회정신의학적 요인들중 남녀 대학생에서 공통적으로 유의하게 높은 성적을 보인 것은 소속대학 및 현 소속학과 선택에서 불만인 경우 (P<0.001) 그리고 자기 자신의 과거, 현재 및 미래에 대한 비관인 경우 (P<0.001) 등에서 유의하였다. 남대생 단독으로 유의하게 높은 성적을 보인 것은 저학년인 경우 (P<0.001)와 월 잡비별 성적중 일만원 이하일 경우 (P<0.05)였다. 여대생 단독으로 유의하게 높은 성적을 보인 것은 성장지가 중소도시의 경우 (P<0.05)였다. 상관계수 (r=0.40 이상)인 문항들은 정신증적 척도 문항인 (9) 소외감 (r=0.46), (10) 정서불균형 (r=0.43), (5) 고독감 (r=0.40) 등과 우울척도 문항인 (1) 우울감과 사이에 각각 상관이 있었다.

남녀 대학생의 영양지식과 다이어트 행동에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Nutritional Knowledge and Diet Practice Behavior of College Students)

  • The principal objective of this study was to determine the effects of diet knowledge and perception on diet practice behavior among university students. Data were collected between March and April of 2005 from 523 male and female university students in Seoul and Chungbuk, via a self-administered questionnaire. The subjects included 217 male students (41.5%) and 306 female students (58.5%), and 52.0% of the subjects were 21-23 years old. With regard to residence type, 42.6% of the subjects lived in the dormitory, home (29.1%) self-boarding (19.5%) and meal (8.8) were in the order. The average weights and heights of the subjects were as follows: 70.9$\pm$9.0 kg and 174.3$\pm$4.4 cm in the male students and 53.9$\pm$5.9 kg and 161.3$\pm$4.5 cm in the female students. The average BMI values of the male and female students were 23.4$\pm$2.5 and 20.8$\pm$2.1, respectively. The average nutritional knowledge scores were as follows: 1.96 out of 3.0, dietary habit (2.13), nutrition (2.0), exercise (1.98), preferred food (1.90), and chronic disease (1.79). We noted no significant differences between the male and female subjects in terms of scored points. Nutritional knowledge by gender and residence type were shown to be significantly different--the male subjects had higher scores for exercise than did the female subjects. The self-boarding subjects had significantly lower scores with regard to nutritional knowledge and chronic disease. The experience and duration of previous diet practice were also significantly different with regard to gender and residence type. The male subjects tended to conduct diet practice for longer periods than females. The self-boarding students reported more attempts at diet behavior, but for shorter durations. The results show that the nutritional knowledge and diet practice behavior of the subjects were influenced by gender and residence type.

의미 연결망 분석을 활용한 대학 홈페이지 FAQ 개선방안 (Improving University Homepage FAQ Using Semantic Network Analysis)

  • 민원 질의응답의 소통수단으로 보편화된 Q&A 게시판에는 반복된 질문들이 자주 등록되어 민원업무를 효율적으로 관리할 필요성이 제기된다. 본 연구는 대학 홈페이지의 Q&A 게시판에 게재된 비정형 데이터를 중심으로 학생 중심의 질의응답집(FAQ)을 구성하고자 한다. 이에 최근 3년간 690건의 게시물에서 주요 핵심어를 추출하고 의미 연결망 분석을 통해 중심성 분석 및 핵심어 사이의 관계성을 파악하여 네트워크 시각화를 진행하였다. 분석결과 민원질의에서 가장 중심성이 높은 핵심어는 신청, 교과목, 학점, 이수, 졸업, 승인, 기간, 전공, 포털, 학과 등의 순이었다. 또한 주요 핵심어들은 수업, 학적, 학생활동, 장학금, 도서관, 생활관, 정보화, 통학 영역의 8개 군집으로 구분되었다. 이를 토대로 질의횟수가 많은 내용을 분야별로 정리하여 FAQ를 구성한다면 반복적인 질문에 대한 민원응대 프로세스를 간소화함으로써 수요자의 편의성과 행정의 효율성 향상에 기여하고 나아가 대학 구성원간의 원활한 양방향 소통이 가능할 것으로 기대한다.

모듈러 건축 타워크레인 운용 계획의 대안 평가 모델 - 유닛 설치 및 마감공사를 중심으로 - (Alternative Evaluation Model for Tower Crane Operation Plan in Modular Construction - Focusing on Modular Unit Installation and Finishing works -)

  • 최근 인력자원 투입량 감소 및 공기단축이 가능한 모듈러 건축공법은 반복 공정이 많은 기숙사, 주거시설, 호텔 공사 등에 다양하게 적용되고 있다. 모듈러 건축공법은 유닛 설치비용을 제외한 현장 공사비에서 외장 마감공사 비용의 비중은 약 40%를 차지하며, 마감공사는 목표공기와 비용을 유지하는데 주요한 역할을 한다. 모듈러 현장에서 유닛 설치 및 마감공사 수행을 위해 한정된 장비가 후속 액티비티에 영향을 주지 않도록 공유되어야 하며 현장 마감 비중이 커지는 모듈러 프로젝트일수록 공정관리에서 양중 계획은 매우 중요하기 때문이다. 이와 같은 T/C 운용 계획은 단일 사이클 또는 다중 사이클의 형태를 가지게 되며 사이클 주기 조율은 장비효율을 높일 수 있다. 그러나 유닛 설치 및 마감공사를 지원하기 위한 T/C 운용 계획의 대안을 평가하는데 어려움이 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 모듈러 건축 현장에서 T/C 운용의 사이클 주기 설정에 따른 운용방식의 대안을 평가하기 위해 유닛 양중 시간 및 주기, 외장재 양중 시간, 마감 작업 소요시간을 변수화하여 T/C 가동시간과 공정에 주는 영향을 파악한다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 현장에서 이루어지는 작업 프로세스 분석을 바탕으로 작업 속도를 조절하여 T/C 효율을 증대시킬 수 있는 시뮬레이션 모델을 개발한다. 본 연구는 양중 사이클 개념을 적용한 자원 평준화 방법을 제시함으로써 학술적 기여가 있으며 실무적으로 현장관리자에게 장비 계획의 대안 선택을 위한 기초자료로서 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

공주지역 여대생의 지방 섭취 양상 조사 (Patterns of Dietary Fat Intake by University Female Students Living in Kongju City: Comparisons among Groups Divided by Living Arrangement)

  • This study was aimed at examining the pattern of dietary fat intake of 120 university female students living in Kongju city in order to provide baseic data for establishing the dietary grideline of desirable fat intake. The subjects were divided into three groups according to living arrangenment ; family home(FH), or dormitory(DM), or self-boarding house(SB). Fat consumption of subjects was surveyed by two-day food records, and profiles of fatty acid and cholesterol taken were calculated based upon the data reported their contents of foods. The result was that mean daily fat intake was 42$\pm$2g for FH, 48$\pm$4g for DM and 41$\pm$3g for SB. The calorie intake by fat was 20.8, 21.5, and 20.4% respectively. The ratio of P/M/S was 1.3/1.7/1 for FH, 1.3/1.6/1 for DM and 1, .5/1.5/1 for SB. And the ratio of n-6/n-3 fatty acid was 5.2/1 for FH, 8.3/1 for DM and 7.2/1 for SB. Daily cholesterol intake was 208$\pm$20mg for FH, 223$\pm$29mg for DM and 251$\pm$27mg for SB. In addition, intake of n-3 fatty acid was 1.2$\pm$0.2g for FH, 0.9$\pm$0.1g for DM and 1.2$\pm$0.2g for DB. Considering the food source of fatty acids, saturated fatty acid and monounsaturated fatty acid were taken primarily from animal foods, especially milk and milk products, and n-6 polyunsaturated fatty acid was taken from vegetable oils and fats. As a major source of n-3 fatty acid, linolenic acid was obtained through vegetable oils and fats, and eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid were provided by fishes and their products. There patterns of fatty acid intakes did not differ according to living arrangement. The above results showed that intakes of fat and cholesterol, and ratios of P/M/S and n-6/n-3 fatty acid were overall desirable in all groups. However, intake of n-3 fatty acid was low in all groups. Therefore, consumption of perilla oil, legumes and fishes as a source of n-3 fatty acid should be increased by substituting other food source which provide fats and oils because calorie intake by fat was enough in these subject.

Gamma-ray Exposure Rate Monitoring by Energy Spectra of NaI(Tl) Scintillation detectors

  • Background: Nuclear facilities in South Korea have generally adopted pressurized ion chambers to measure ambient gamma ray exposure rates for monitoring the impact of radiation on the surrounding environment. The rates assessed with pressurized ion chambers do not distinguish between natural and man-made radiation, so a further step is needed to identify the cause of abnormal variation. In contrast, using NaI(Tl) scintillation detectors to detect gamma energy rates can allow an immediate assessment of the cause of variation through an analysis of the energy spectra. Against this backdrop, this study was conducted to propose a more effective way to monitor ambient gamma exposure rates. Materials and Methods: The following methods were used to analyze gamma energy spectra measured from January to November 2016 with NaI detectors installed at the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI) dormitory and Hanbat University. 1) Correlations of the variation of rates measured at the two locations were determined. 2) The dates, intervals, duration, and weather conditions were identified when rates increased by $5nSv{\cdot}h^{-1}$ or more. 3) Differences in the NaI spectra on normal days and days where rates spiked by $5nSv{\cdot}h^{-1}$ or more were studied. 4) An algorithm was derived for automatically calculating the net variation of the rates. Results and Discussion: The rates measured at KAERI and Hanbat University, located 12 kilometers apart, did not show a strong correlation (coefficient of determination = 0.577). Time gaps between spikes in the rates and rainfall were factors that affected the correlation. The weather conditions on days where rates went up by $5nSv{\cdot}h^{-1}$ or more featured rainfall, snowfall, or overcast, as well as an increase in peaks of the gamma rays emitted from the radon decay products of $^{214}Pb$ and $^{214}Bi$ in the spectrum. This study assumed that $^{214}Pb$ and $^{214}Bi$ exist at a radioactive equilibrium, since both have relatively short half-lives of under 30 minutes. Provided that this assumption is true and that the gamma peaks of the 352 keV and 1,764 keV gamma rays emitted from the radionuclides have proportional count rates, no man-made radiation should be present between the two energy levels. This study proved that this assumption was true by demonstrating a linear correlation between the count rates of these two gamma peaks. In conclusion, if the count rates of these two peaks detected in the gamma energy spectrum at a certain time maintain the ratio measured at a normal time, such variation can be confirmed to be caused by natural radiation. Conclusion: This study confirmed that both $^{214}Pb$ and $^{214}Bi$ have relatively short half-lives of under 30 minutes, thereby existing in a radioactive equilibrium in the atmosphere. If the gamma peaks of the 352 keV and 1,764 keV gamma rays emitted from these radionuclides have proportional count rates, no man-made radiation should exist between the two energy levels.

광주지역 대학생의 식습관, 영양지식 및 편의식품 섭취 실태에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Dietary Habits, the Nutritional Knowledge and the Consumption Patterns of Convenience Foods of University Students in the Gwangju Area)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the dietary habits, the nutritional knowledge and the consumption patterns of convenience foods of 618 university students located in the Gwangju area, from November twentieth to November thirtieth, 2002. The subjects included 301 males (48.7%) and 317 females (51.3%). This survey was conducted using a self-administered questionnaire. The percentage of students who were underweight, normal and overweight based on their body mass index (BMI) was 3.7, 88.0 and 8.3 far the males, and 29, 71 and 0 for the females, respectively. Most students (73.8%) skipped breakfast. This was because of lack of time (65.1%) of the cases. Self-reported eating habit problems were eating irregular meal (52.4%), overeating (21%), prejudiced meal (12.4%) and skipping meal (7.4%). The type of favorite snack was biscuit (31.9%) and cup Ramyon (31.9%). The rates of alcohol drinking in male and female students were 88.0% and 85.8% respectively, and the rates of smoking were 35.9% and 28% respectively. Males ate fiequently cup Ramyon (2.08 $\pm$ 2.95), fries (pork cutlet, fried potato) (1.91 $\pm$ 2.58), Ramyon (1.81 $\pm$ 3.00) and kimbab (1.70 $\pm$ 3.17) more frequently, while females ate kimbab (2.25 $\pm$ 3.26), cup Ramyon (1.89 $\pm$ 2.09), fries (pork cutlet, fried potato) (1.77 $\pm$ 2.67), Ramyon (1.46 $\pm$ 1.1.95) and fish paste (1.45 $\pm$ 2.22) more frequently. The nutritional knowledge score was higher in females than in males. The mean consumption patterns of convenience foods of students living in home were lower than that of students living in dormitory and boarding w/cooking. When the amount of pocket money available and the body mass index increased and the nutritional knowledge level was low, the mean consumption of convenience foods increased. The mean consumption of convenience foods correlated negatively with nutritional knowledge (p < 0.01). Therefore, nutritional education for university students is needed so as to improve their health and nutritional education program should be developed to meet the various needs of these students.
