The authors studied anxiety, using Zung's Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), in the subjects of 3,893 male and 1,976 female college students of Yeungnam University. The authors collected the reports of SAS during the periods from October to November, 1984, and applied ANOVA and t-test on the anxiety scores in order to compare them between various psychosocial factors, and sexes. The results could be summarized as follows: There was significant difference in the mean averages of total anxiety score's between male and female students ; male students scored $36.92{\pm}7.07$, female students scored $39.63{\pm}7.51$, p<0.001. The anxiety scores relating to the items of sweating, apprehension, restlessness, insommia, dyspnea were relatively higher in both groups. The anxiety scores in the items of paresthesias, mental disintegration, tremors, faintness, dizziness were lower in both groups. Two hundred and one male students (5.2%) showed seriously high anxiety scores of 50 or higher, while 201 female students (10.2%) showed the same scores. So the authors inferred that the features of anxiety symptoms were much the same in our country, but females showed more various symptoms and higher level of anxiety than males. In a comparison between male students in different school grades, freshmen showed the highest level of anxiety scores and as the grades of the students became higher, the levels of anxiety scores were lower. The female students who resided in dormitory or other residences, and whose educational fees were paid by brothers or sisters, showed higher level of anxiety scores. There was a strong tendency toward higher anxiety scores in the students who were dissatisfied with their colleges or departments, and who had pessimistic views of self image in the past, present, or future, in both groups.

The purpose of this study was to compare the dietary behaviors and snack intake between Korean and Chinese university students. The total number of participants was 520, with 267 Korean college students in Seoul and 253 Chinese college students in Shandong Province. According to the results, the most frequent place of residence was their own house for Korean students and the dormitory for Chinese students. As for healthy life behavior, Chinese university students as compared to Korean students showed a higher tendency of exercising, and lower levels of drinking, smoking, and caffeine intake. The frequency of snack intake was about 1 to 3 times a week for both Korean and Chinese college students, and the frequency of night eating was higher among Korean students than among Chinese students. The overall dietary evaluation score was higher for Chinese students than for Korean students. This study compared the overall eating habits of Korean and Chinese college students and tried to provide useful basic data for the development of educational programs that can form desirable eating habits for the health of college students in both countries.

There was significant difference in the mean averages of total psychoticism scores between male and female students; male students scored $6.81{\pm}5.13$ female students scored $8.14{\pm}5.05$. 2. Eighty eight male students (2.4%) showed seriously high psychoticism scores of 20 or higher, while 63 female students (3.2%) showed the same scores. 3. In a comparison between male students in different school grades, freshmen showed the highest level of psychoticism scores, and as the grades of students became higher, the levels of psychoticism scores were lower. 4. Among the psychosocial factors, there were strong tendencies toward higher psychoticism scores in the students who were dissatisfied with their college, and hsd pessimistic views of self image in the past, present or future, in both groups. 5. The male students whose educational fees were paid by their parents, and whose spending money per month was under 10,000won, showed higher level of psychoticism scores. 6. The female students whose maturation locations were city, who were dissatisfied with their departments, who resided in dormitory of other residencies, and whose educational fees were paid by their brothers or sisters, showed higher level of psychoticism scores. 7. The items relating to 5(Feeling lonely with people) 9 (Never feeling close to another) 10 (Idea something with mind) in psychoticism and the item of depressed affect in SDS were significantly correlated over 0.40 of correlation coefficient.
The principal objective of this study was to determine the effects of diet knowledge and perception on diet practice behavior among university students. Data were collected between March and April of 2005 from 523 male and female university students in Seoul and Chungbuk, via a self-administered questionnaire. The subjects included 217 male students (41.5%) and 306 female students (58.5%), and 52.0% of the subjects were 21-23 years old. With regard to residence type, 42.6% of the subjects lived in the dormitory, home (29.1%) self-boarding (19.5%) and meal (8.8) were in the order. The average weights and heights of the subjects were as follows: 70.9$\pm$9.0 kg and 174.3$\pm$4.4 cm in the male students and 53.9$\pm$5.9 kg and 161.3$\pm$4.5 cm in the female students. The average BMI values of the male and female students were 23.4$\pm$2.5 and 20.8$\pm$2.1, respectively. The average nutritional knowledge scores were as follows: 1.96 out of 3.0, dietary habit (2.13), nutrition (2.0), exercise (1.98), preferred food (1.90), and chronic disease (1.79). We noted no significant differences between the male and female subjects in terms of scored points. Nutritional knowledge by gender and residence type were shown to be significantly different--the male subjects had higher scores for exercise than did the female subjects. The self-boarding subjects had significantly lower scores with regard to nutritional knowledge and chronic disease. The experience and duration of previous diet practice were also significantly different with regard to gender and residence type. The male subjects tended to conduct diet practice for longer periods than females. The self-boarding students reported more attempts at diet behavior, but for shorter durations. The results show that the nutritional knowledge and diet practice behavior of the subjects were influenced by gender and residence type.
The Q&A board is widely used as a means of communicating service enquiries, and the need for efficient management of the enquiry system has risen because certain questions are being repeatedly and frequently registered. This study aims to construct a student-centered FAQ, centered on the unstructured data posted on the university homepage's Q&A board. We extracted major keywords from 690 postings registered in the recent 3 years, and conducted the semantic network analysis to find the relationship between the keywords and the centrality analysis in order to carry out network visualization. The most central keywords found through the analysis, in order of centrality, were application, curriculum, credit point, completion, graduation, approval, period, major, portal, department. Also, the major keywords were classified into 8 groups of course, register, student life, scholarship, library, dormitory, IT and commute. If the most frequent questions are organized into these areas to form the FAQ, based on the results above, it is expected to contribute to user convenience and the efficiency of administration by simplifying the service enquiry process for repeated questions, as well as enabling smooth two-way communication among the members of the university.

Recently, modular construction method has been widely applied to projects with repetitive processes including dormitory, the residential facility, and the hotel construction due to reduced labor input and shortened construction schedule. Generally, about 40% of total on-site construction cost excluding unit installation cost, is put on exterior finishing work, and thus management of finishing work is deemed important in maintaining the targeted schedule and cost. Since limited equipment is shared so that subsequent activities are not affected while carrying out on-site installation and finishing work, lifting plan becomes more important for modular projects with greater portion of finishing work load. In this regard, tower crane operation plan may take the form of a single cycle or multiple cycles in which equipment efficiency can be affected. However, difficulties exist in evaluating alternatives to tower crane operation plans supporting unit installation and finishing work. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the alternative of tower crane operation method according to the cyclic period setting in modular building site to determine the effect on T/C uptime and process by parameterizing lifting time for unit and exterior finishing material, lift cycle for unit and exterior finishing material and time required for finishing work. Accordingly, this study develops a simulation model that can increase the tower crane efficiency by controlling the work speed. An academic contribution of this study is to suggest a resource leveling method applying the concept of lifting cycle, and further is expected to be managerially used as a basis for an alternative evaluation of equipment plan.
This study was aimed at examining the pattern of dietary fat intake of 120 university female students living in Kongju city in order to provide baseic data for establishing the dietary grideline of desirable fat intake. The subjects were divided into three groups according to living arrangenment ; family home(FH), or dormitory(DM), or self-boarding house(SB). Fat consumption of subjects was surveyed by two-day food records, and profiles of fatty acid and cholesterol taken were calculated based upon the data reported their contents of foods. The result was that mean daily fat intake was 42$\pm$2g for FH, 48$\pm$4g for DM and 41$\pm$3g for SB. The calorie intake by fat was 20.8, 21.5, and 20.4% respectively. The ratio of P/M/S was 1.3/1.7/1 for FH, 1.3/1.6/1 for DM and 1, .5/1.5/1 for SB. And the ratio of n-6/n-3 fatty acid was 5.2/1 for FH, 8.3/1 for DM and 7.2/1 for SB. Daily cholesterol intake was 208$\pm$20mg for FH, 223$\pm$29mg for DM and 251$\pm$27mg for SB. In addition, intake of n-3 fatty acid was 1.2$\pm$0.2g for FH, 0.9$\pm$0.1g for DM and 1.2$\pm$0.2g for DB. Considering the food source of fatty acids, saturated fatty acid and monounsaturated fatty acid were taken primarily from animal foods, especially milk and milk products, and n-6 polyunsaturated fatty acid was taken from vegetable oils and fats. As a major source of n-3 fatty acid, linolenic acid was obtained through vegetable oils and fats, and eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid were provided by fishes and their products. There patterns of fatty acid intakes did not differ according to living arrangement. The above results showed that intakes of fat and cholesterol, and ratios of P/M/S and n-6/n-3 fatty acid were overall desirable in all groups. However, intake of n-3 fatty acid was low in all groups. Therefore, consumption of perilla oil, legumes and fishes as a source of n-3 fatty acid should be increased by substituting other food source which provide fats and oils because calorie intake by fat was enough in these subject.
Background: Nuclear facilities in South Korea have generally adopted pressurized ion chambers to measure ambient gamma ray exposure rates for monitoring the impact of radiation on the surrounding environment. The rates assessed with pressurized ion chambers do not distinguish between natural and man-made radiation, so a further step is needed to identify the cause of abnormal variation. In contrast, using NaI(Tl) scintillation detectors to detect gamma energy rates can allow an immediate assessment of the cause of variation through an analysis of the energy spectra. Against this backdrop, this study was conducted to propose a more effective way to monitor ambient gamma exposure rates. Materials and Methods: The following methods were used to analyze gamma energy spectra measured from January to November 2016 with NaI detectors installed at the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI) dormitory and Hanbat University. 1) Correlations of the variation of rates measured at the two locations were determined. 2) The dates, intervals, duration, and weather conditions were identified when rates increased by $5nSv{\cdot}h^{-1}$ or more. 3) Differences in the NaI spectra on normal days and days where rates spiked by $5nSv{\cdot}h^{-1}$ or more were studied. 4) An algorithm was derived for automatically calculating the net variation of the rates. Results and Discussion: The rates measured at KAERI and Hanbat University, located 12 kilometers apart, did not show a strong correlation (coefficient of determination = 0.577). Time gaps between spikes in the rates and rainfall were factors that affected the correlation. The weather conditions on days where rates went up by $5nSv{\cdot}h^{-1}$ or more featured rainfall, snowfall, or overcast, as well as an increase in peaks of the gamma rays emitted from the radon decay products of $^{214}Pb$ and $^{214}Bi$ in the spectrum. This study assumed that $^{214}Pb$ and $^{214}Bi$ exist at a radioactive equilibrium, since both have relatively short half-lives of under 30 minutes. Provided that this assumption is true and that the gamma peaks of the 352 keV and 1,764 keV gamma rays emitted from the radionuclides have proportional count rates, no man-made radiation should be present between the two energy levels. This study proved that this assumption was true by demonstrating a linear correlation between the count rates of these two gamma peaks. In conclusion, if the count rates of these two peaks detected in the gamma energy spectrum at a certain time maintain the ratio measured at a normal time, such variation can be confirmed to be caused by natural radiation. Conclusion: This study confirmed that both $^{214}Pb$ and $^{214}Bi$ have relatively short half-lives of under 30 minutes, thereby existing in a radioactive equilibrium in the atmosphere. If the gamma peaks of the 352 keV and 1,764 keV gamma rays emitted from these radionuclides have proportional count rates, no man-made radiation should exist between the two energy levels.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the dietary habits, the nutritional knowledge and the consumption patterns of convenience foods of 618 university students located in the Gwangju area, from November twentieth to November thirtieth, 2002. The subjects included 301 males (48.7%) and 317 females (51.3%). This survey was conducted using a self-administered questionnaire. The percentage of students who were underweight, normal and overweight based on their body mass index (BMI) was 3.7, 88.0 and 8.3 far the males, and 29, 71 and 0 for the females, respectively. Most students (73.8%) skipped breakfast. This was because of lack of time (65.1%) of the cases. Self-reported eating habit problems were eating irregular meal (52.4%), overeating (21%), prejudiced meal (12.4%) and skipping meal (7.4%). The type of favorite snack was biscuit (31.9%) and cup Ramyon (31.9%). The rates of alcohol drinking in male and female students were 88.0% and 85.8% respectively, and the rates of smoking were 35.9% and 28% respectively. Males ate fiequently cup Ramyon (2.08 $\pm$ 2.95), fries (pork cutlet, fried potato) (1.91 $\pm$ 2.58), Ramyon (1.81 $\pm$ 3.00) and kimbab (1.70 $\pm$ 3.17) more frequently, while females ate kimbab (2.25 $\pm$ 3.26), cup Ramyon (1.89 $\pm$ 2.09), fries (pork cutlet, fried potato) (1.77 $\pm$ 2.67), Ramyon (1.46 $\pm$ 1.1.95) and fish paste (1.45 $\pm$ 2.22) more frequently. The nutritional knowledge score was higher in females than in males. The mean consumption patterns of convenience foods of students living in home were lower than that of students living in dormitory and boarding w/cooking. When the amount of pocket money available and the body mass index increased and the nutritional knowledge level was low, the mean consumption of convenience foods increased. The mean consumption of convenience foods correlated negatively with nutritional knowledge (p < 0.01). Therefore, nutritional education for university students is needed so as to improve their health and nutritional education program should be developed to meet the various needs of these students. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between teachers' characteristics and schools' peculiarities and to analyze relevant variables which influence the organization and implementation of the curriculum in specialized industry high schools. Subject were 414 teachers in specialized industry high school. The main result of this study are as follows. First, according to teachers' sex distinction, position, teaching experience, career of industry-related companies, subtle stress difference were found in establishment of education programs, relevance of educational activity, propriety of equipment. Second, in case of schools' subject of establishment, dormitory, specialized types, number of class, type of the sex of recruitment, subtle difference were found in connectivity of graders and subjects, relevance of the organization of education activity, substantial curriculum, push ahead with specialized high school. Third, measures to support development of specialized curriculum arrange sub-items in order of frequency. The way we understand things on vocational education must be settled without delay.
