Purpose: In the present study, an analysis of the life of adolescents with complex congenital heart disease (CHD) was done using grounded theory. Consideration was given to the socio-cultural context of Korea. Methods: After approval from the institutional review board of Y hospital, 12 patients ranging in age from 14 to 35 were recruited. Data were gathered using in-depth interviews. Theoretical sampling was performed until the concepts were saturated. Results: The results confirmed the life of adolescents with complex CHD as a 'journey to finding uniqueness of oneself as a person with CHD'. The life consisted of 3 stages. In the crisis stage, participants had a feeling of threat to self-existence, and made an effort to be the same as others. In the self-recognition stage, participants who had sufficient role-performance built self-esteem while those who did not fell into self-accusation. In the self-establishment stage, participants who reached sufficiency in independence and knowledge planned the future, whereas those who did not conformed to the realities of life. Conclusion: The results of present study provide help in understanding the experiences of adolescents with CHD and provide a basis for developing nursing intervention strategies for these patients.

Objectives : To provide foundation for research on local medical examination of the Ming period, the contents on 'He who does not know Yi(易) cannot speak of medicine' in the Yixuetongzong(醫學統宗) written by He Jian was analyzed. Methods : Proofreading of the original texts, followed by interpretation of words and phrase and translation into Korean were done. The resulting contents were then analyzed from the perspective of the theory of Medical Yi(Yi-Yi). Results : In this medical exam paper for physicians, He answers himself on topics such as the Four Symbols[四象], Eight Symbols[八象], the Sixty-four hexagrams[Liushisigua], the combinations of the Organs and Bowels[Zangfu], Nine Orifices[Jiuqiao], and Five Body Parts[Wuti], the origin of the pulse, the reasoning behind calling the pulse 'the station for blood[xuezhifu]', what the 'Tianzhen Weihezhi Qi' stands for and the meaning of the Twelve Organs[shierguan]. He also supports the perspective of the 'Medicine and Yi having the same roots[Yi-yi tongyuan]', arguing that due to this, the body's physiology could be explained through the theories of Yi[易]. This shows that He understood the Yi-yi theory as a larger category. Conclusions :He's medical exam paper reflects his uniqueness in the field of the Yi-yi theory that precedes that of Zhao Xianke.

This study investigated the relationship between ego identity within the framework of Erikson's psychosocial theory of ego development and self-perceptions of dressing competence and dressing conformity. The following problems have been investigated in this study. 1. The relationship between ego identity and self-perceptions of dressing competence. 2. The relationships between the subcategories of identity levels and self-perceptions of dressing competence. 3. The relationship between ego identity and self-perceptions of dressing conformity. Data were obtained from 242 freshman and 156 senior college students, who each received an ego identity scale and self-perceptions of dressing competence and dressing conformity scale. The statistical analyses of the obtained data included calculation of the Chi-Square ($X^2$) and Means (M). This study's finding were as follows; 1. A significant positive relationship was found between ego identity level and self-perceptions of dressing competence. 2. Significant relationships were found between most of the subcategories of ego identity level and self-perceptions of dressing competence, the exceptions being stability, uniqueness, sense of self. 3. Significant relationships were not found between ego identity and self-perceptions of dressing conformity but were found to be significantly related uniqueness and self assertiveness on one hand were found to be significantly related to self-perceptions of dressing individuality and stability on the other hand to self-perceptions of dressing conformity.

The modem society has been talked as the age of uncertainty, the age discontinuity and the information society. The future society is forcasted the creativity society. Both the achievement motive and the creativity be suggested as an important factors to accomplish the individual goals and organizational performance. The achievement motive has the major implications in increasing the level of achievement motive between high and low creative group. The employee creativity is the emergence in action of a novel relational product, growing out of the uniqueness of the individual on the hand, and materals, events people or cirumstances of his life on the other. It has been treated as an impotant factor to solve the complex management ploblems for the management. The major purpose of this study are (1) to review the theory of an achievement motivation and the creativity, (2) to provide both management and scholars with the practical and useful implications on the development of the employee cretivity in improving the management performance.

We investigate the existence of multiple nontrivial solutions $u(x,t)$ for a perturbation $b[({\xi}-{\eta}+2)^+-2]$ of the hyperbolic system with Dirichlet boundary condition $$(0.1)\;L{\xi}={\mu}[({\xi}-{\eta}+2)^+-2]\;in\;({-{\frac{{\pi}}{2}}},{\frac{{\pi}}{2}}){\times}\mathbb{R},\\L{\eta}={\nu}[({\xi}-{\eta}+2)^+-2]\;in\;({-{\frac{{\pi}}{2}}},{\frac{{\pi}}{2}}){\times}\mathbb{R},$$, where $u^+$=max{u,o}, ${\mu}$, ${\nu}$ are nonzero constants. Here L is the wave operator in $\mathbb{R}^2$ and the nonlinearity $({\mu}-{\nu})[({\xi}-{\eta}+2)^+-2]$ crosses the eigenvalues of the wave operator.

In the present paper we study the Cauchy problem in a Banach space E for an abstract nonlinear differential equation of form $$\frac{d^2u}{dt^2}=-A{\frac{du}{dt}}+B(t)u+f(t, W)$$ where W=($A_1$(t)u, A_2(t)u)..., A_{\nu}(t)u), A_{i}(t),\;i=1,2,...{\nu}$,(B(t), t{\in}I$=[0, b]) are families of closed operators defined on dense sets in E into E, f is a given abstract nonlinear function on $I{\times}E^{\nu}$ into E and -A is a closed linar operator defined on dense set in e into E which generates a semi-group. Further the existence and uniqueness of the solution of the considered Cauchy problem is studied for a wide class of the families ($A_{i}$(t), i =1.2...${\nu}$), (B(t), $t{\in}I$) An application and some properties are also given for the theory of partial diferential equations.

The importance of Information technology (IT) has been growing. Thus, it is critical for firms to choose the optimal information technology development mode in order to ensure that maximum benefit is derived from IT. Despite its importance, however, there is little comprehensive research on choosing the IT development mode that firms undertake. To fill this gap, this study attempts to propose a parsimonious as well as comprehensive IT development framework based on strategic value and the uniqueness of IT resources. In addition, this study analyzes the impact of the fit between the theoretically proposed IT development mode and the actually used mode on the performance of Korean firms. This study contributes to and expands the literature on IT development modes by considering various development modes in real time. Moreover, the results serve as a stepping stone for managers who want to develop or adopt IT effectively.

In this paper, to include more generalized cases, the authors present a modified concept for the tripled and quadruple fixed point of the mixed monotone mappings. Also, they investigate the existence and uniqueness of fixed point of the ordered monotone operator with the Matkowski contractive conditions in the partial ordered metric spaces. As the direct consequences, the existence of coupled fixed point, tripled fixed point and quadruple fixed point are explored at the common framework and some previous results in [T. G. Bhaskar and V. Phase retrieval is concerned with the reconstruction of a signal from its Fourier transform magnitude (or intensity), which arises in many areas such as X-ray crystallography, optics, astronomy, or digital signal processing. In such areas, the Fourier transform phase of the desired signal is lost while measuring Fourier transform magnitude (F.T.M.). However, if a reference 'signal is added to the desired signal, then, in the Fourier trans form magnitude of the added signal, the Fourier transform phase of the desired signal is encoded. This paper addresses uniqueness and retrieval of the encoded Fourier phase of a multidimensional signal from the Fourier transform magnitude of the added signal along with the Fourier transform magnitude of the desired signal and the information of the additive reference signal. In Part I, several conditions under which the desired signal can be uniquely specified from the two Fourier transform magnitudes and the additive reference signal are presented. In Part II, the development of non-iterative algorithms and an iterative algorithm that may be used to reconstruct the desired signal(s) is considered.

This paper is mainly concerned with the existence of solution for nonlinear impulsive fractional dynamic equations on a special time scale.We introduce the new concept and propositions of fractional q-integral, q-derivative, and α-Lipschitz in the paper. By using a new fixed point theorem, we obtain some new existence results of solutions via some generalized singular Gronwall inequalities on time scales. Further, an interesting example is presented to illustrate the theory.
