For a sufficiently adequate special case of the Dziok-Srivastava linear operator defined by means of the Hadamard product (or convolution) with Srivastava-Wright convolution operator, the authors investigate several mapping properties involving various subclasses of analytic and univalent functions, $G({\lambda},{\alpha})$ and $M({\lambda},{\alpha})$. Furthermore we discuss some inclusion relations for these subclasses to be in the classes of k-uniformly convex and k-starlike functions.

In this paper, we prove the weak and strong convergence of the three-step iterative scheme with errors to a common fixed point for two asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in a uniformly convex Banach space under a condition weaker than compactness. Our theorems improve and generalize some previous results.

The combustion phenomena of the stratified charged model combustion chamber under the initial conditions of the room temperature and the atmospheric pressure were investigated by using pressure record and high speed Schliern motion picture in comparison with that of the uniformly charged case. The results show that the total burning time is strongly dependent on the turbulent spouting flame jet speed which promotes the combustion process inside the chamber, and the pressure rise-up of stratified charged combustion is rather faster and higher than that of uniformly charged combustion, which can be resulted in the energy saving.

In this paper, we prove that the equivalence between the convergence of Mann and Ishikawa iterations for the generalized Lipschitzian and $\Phi$-strongly pseudocontractive mappings in real uniformly smooth Banach spaces. Our results significantly generalize the recent known results of [B. E. Rhoades and S. M. Soltuz, The equivalence of Mann iteration and Ishikawa iteration for non-Lipschitz operators, Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 42 (2003), 2645.2651].

In this paper, we introduce the shrinking projection method for hemi-relatively nonexpansive mappings to find a common solution of variational inequality problems and equilibrium problems in uniformly convex and uniformly smooth Banach spaces and prove some strong convergence theorems to the common solution by using the proposed method.

A uniformly sampled digital pulse-width modulation adopting a pre-compensation filter scheme for applications in high-resolution digital-to-analog data conversion is described. It is shown that linearization of the intrinsic distortion resulting in uniformly sampled pulse-width modulation can be achieved by using a non-integer delay digital filter embedded within a noise shaping re-quantizer.

In the present paper sufficient conditions, in terms of hyper-geometric inequalities, are found so that the Hohlov operator preserves a certain subclass of close-to-convex functions (denoted by $R^{\tau}$ (A, B)) and transforms the classes consisting of k-uniformly convex functions, k-starlike functions and univalent starlike functions into $\cal{R}^{\tau}$ (A, B).

We investigate strong convergence of Halpern's iteration for a countable family of strongly relatively nonexpansive mappings in the framework of uniformly convex and uniformly smooth Banach spaces. Our results extend those announced by many authors.

In this paper, a strong convergence theorem of multi-step iterative schemes with errors for asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive type nonself mappings is established in a real uniformly convex Banach space. Our results extend the corresponding results of Wangkeeree [12], Xu and Noor [13], Kim et al.[1,6,7] and many others.
