Roles of Trust in Technology Acceptance of Augmented Reality (증강현실(AR) 기술 수용에 있어서 신뢰성의 역할)

  • Various studies have been conducted on factors influencing the adoption of new technologies. In particular, the factors influencing customers' acceptance of new technologies that emerged along with the arrival of the 4th Industrial Revolution. Theoretical models are mainly based on the technology acceptance model (TAM) or Extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology : UTAUT2). However, there are no trust variables in these models. In this study, we added trust variable and tested augmented reality(AR). Three types - trust as an independent variable, as a mediating variable, and as a moderating variable - were analyzed statistically. As a result, trust was most explanatory when viewed as a mediating variable between independent variables and intention to use. In theory, it has been shown that trust acts as a mediating effect. In practice, trust is most important in accepting new technologies, so it is important to prioritize trust.

  • This study is for looking into Factors affecting the Intention of using about Fitness Tracker based on IoT by Flow Theory and UTAUT Model. The independent variables of the IoT-based fitness tracker have been selected as Challenge, Skill Factors used in the Flow experience theory and selected the personal characteristics of health perception, enjoyment, Social Influence, and Facilitating Conditions. In addition UTAUT theory was used as parameter of Performance Expectancy and Effort Expectancy and intention of Use behavior was selected as a dependent variable. For verifying research hypothesis, This study collected 126 surveys data and carried out a statistical analysis by Smart PLS. The result shows that new Flow Experience and Personal Characteristic Factors with key variables in the UTAUT Model affect significantly to Intention of using about Fitness Wearable environment based IoT.

A Study on the Impact of the App-Book Purchasing Behavior of Smart phone Users in Korea (국내 스마트폰 사용자들의 앱북 구매행위에 미치는 영향요인 연구)

  • In order to research the factors influencing on the intentions for smart phone users to purchase "App-Book" in Korea, the study examines the levels of influences using on an additional variable, "cost", as well as the four key variables(performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions) proposed by Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology(UTAUT; Venkatesh et al., 2003) validation. The result of the research confirms that the hypotheses of UTAUT model variable are generally supported by the information technology and many related previous researches. There is one exception, however, that facilitating conditions do not influence on the App-Book purchasing behavior by smart phone. It is revealed that the "age" and "experience" of the independent variables, as the proposed control variables, are most visible effect of control on the purchase intention and purchase behavior. This study has an academic significance of presenting a new integrated model to perform the research of the similar next App-Book services and purchase behavior related to the acceptance of new media. It also clarifies to the related companies that the usefulness of App-Book, the easiness of use, the cost and the social influence of purchasing App-Book by Outsider's intent. These aspects have practical implications as being presented.

  • 2018년 12월 20일부터 '제로페이' 시범 서비스를 시작했으며, 2019년 3월 이후 본격적으로 정식 서비스를 시작해 전국으로 확대한다는 방침이다. 이론적 배경으로부터 도출된 가설을 검정하기 위해서 제로페이 사용자를 대상으로 편의표본추출법을 채택하여 설문 조사를 진행할 예정이다. 실증분석에서는 제시된 가설들의 영향 관계를 분석하고 이전 측정항목의 신뢰성과 타당성을 확보하기 위해 신뢰성 분석 및 타당성 분석을 실시한다. 또한 각 변수들 사이의 판별타당성과 변수간의 방향의 정도를 확인하기 위하여 상관관계분석을 실시하고, 경로모형과 가설을 검정한다. 본 연구를 통해 사용자들의 제로페이의 수용에 대한 결정요인을 보다 명확하게 이해할 수 있을 것이며, 관련 연구자나 실무자들은 물론 제로페이 서비스 기업들이 활용할 수 있는 마케팅 전략방안을 제시하고자 한다.

A Study of the Factors Influencing Adoption of Mobile VoIP: Applying the UTAUT Model (모바일 VoIP 수용에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구 : UTAUT 모형을 중심으로)

  • The progress of Information Technology enables people can communicate each others using the Internet. As a smartphone proliferates, many free mobile VoIP(Voice over IP) application are developed and accepted by smartphone users. In this study we investigate the factors affecting the acceptance of mobile VoIP applications and the structural relationship among these factors. We review the related works and extract the related factors and build a research model describing the causal relationship among these factors. We conduct an empirical study - a survey and statistical analysis - to verify the research model. EFA(Exploratory Factor Analysis) is applied for variables in the survey and SEM(Structural Equation Model) is used to reveal the structural relationship among the factors. We can find that two factors - usefulness of mobile VoIP and social influence - positively affect usage intention and actual use. These findings imply that it is required to emphasize the benefits of mobile VoIP use and add S/W functionalities enhancing social influence.

A Study of Factors Influencing the Satisfaction of SNS Use (SNS 사용 만족에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구)

  • Social Network Service is a web-based service that allows the people to construct relationship among users with same interest and supports various activities such as managing personal relations and sharing information or contents. Based on the IS Success Model and UTAUT model, this study examines factors influencing the satisfaction of SNS use. Questionnaires are collected from 473 students who are using the SNS. The results are followings: first, the performance expectancy, effort expectancy and social influence have positive effect on the use intention. Second, the facilitation conditions and use intention have positive effect on the use. Third, the system quality, information quality and use have positive effect on the satisfaction. Fourth, the performance expectancy is the strongest predictor of the use intention, the use intention is the strongest predictor of the use and information quality is the strongest predictor of the satisfaction.

A Study on the User Acceptance Model of Omni Channel Service Based on Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) (통합기술수용이론(UTAUT) 기반 옴니채널 서비스의 사용자 수용 모형에 관한 연구)

  • The rapid change of consumer expectations in shopping environments has required retailers to actively adopt omni-channel services, however, limited research exists on the topic. We identify the effect of consumer's utilitarian shopping value on expectations for omni-channel services. An online survey was conducted on 176 subjects who had experience using omni-channel services. We employed Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) as our theoretical model to explore the mechanisms of consumers' acceptance of omni-channel services in fashion. We used SPSS ver. 22.0 and AMOS ver. 22.0 programs to analyze data. The results indicate that utilitarian shopping value has a positive effect on performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influence for omni-channel services. Performance expectancy for omni-channel services also has a positive effect on the purchase intentions of fashion products. Effort expectancy for omni-channel services also positively increases the purchase intentions of fashion products. Last, the social effect of omni-channel services has a significant positive effect on purchase intention. All the hypotheses were supported. The research findings can provide the fashion distribution industry with useful basic data to understand the needs of consumers who use multi-channels when establishing a new channel or marketing strategy.

Determinants of Continuous Intention-to-Use on NTIS: Perspectives of UTAUT and TTF Model (국가과학기술정보서비스플랫폼 NTIS 지속적 사용의도 결정요인에 관한 연구: UTAUT 및 TTF모형을 중심으로)

  • Purpose In this study, in order to understand the effects of NTIS users' behavioral scientific behaviors and determinants, an integrated model of the UTAUT(Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology) model and TTF(Task-Technology Fit) model, which are frequently used MIS field, was presented and empirical analysis was conducted. Design/methodology/approach In this study, an online survey was conducted on researchers from organizations carrying out national R&D projects, institutions, universities, and dedicated management institutions and the collected data verified hypotheses established using the SPSS 25.0 statistical package and structural equation model using AMOS. Findings The results showed that NTIS users' business activities had a positive(+) effect on task-technology fit and task-technology fit had a positive(+) effect on performance expectation, effort expectation, and continuous intention-to-use intention. In addition, the performance expectation, effort expectation, and promotion conditions presented in research model had a positive(+) effect on the continuous intention-to-use. The research results derived through this study are expected to contribute substantially to subsequent research in the field related to information sharing platforms.

  • In line with the social changes due to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, foreign countries are strengthening information education for the future of education. This study analyzed the current status of software (SW) and artificial intelligence (AI) education among different types of information education programs in elementary schools of major foreign countries, and compared them with the education provided in Korea. Compared to major foreign countries, Korea allocated very little time for software education in elementary schools, making it difficult to sufficiently cover all areas of the curriculum achievement standards. In addition, other countries recognized the importance of artificial intelligence, an important technology of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and were providing artificial intelligence education on the basis of software education at the national level. The Korean government is also planning on providing the education at national level, but it was identified that the information education of elementary schools have many problematic issues. This study emphasized the need to establish an information curriculum for elementary schools as a way to address these issues.

  • The government is pursuing plans to create new e-government services. In terms of improving business procedures, dBrain (finance), e-people (personnel), and Onnara (electronic payment and business management) have achieved considerable results, and are currently making efforts to improve existing administrative services using newly emerged ICT. Among them, this paper attempted to study whether self-learning-based intelligent administrative services are efficient in the work process of public officials promoting actual work and affect their continued use. Based on individual perceptions and attitudes toward advanced ICTs such as AI, big data, and blockchain, public officials' influences on administrative services were identified and verified using UTAUT variables. They believe that the establishment and introduction of innovative administrative services can be used more efficiently, and they have high expectations for the use and provision of services as ICT develops.
