배열형 소형 프레넬 렌즈가 결합된 LCD 백라이트의 설계 (Design of LCD Backlight Unit Coupled with Micro Fresnel Lens Array)

  • LCD 백라이트의 효율을 향상시키기 위하여 배열형 소형 프레넬 렌즈(micro Fresnel lens array)가 결합된 도광판을 설계하였다. 배열형 소형 프레넬 렌즈(MFLA)는 blazed 형태 및 다단계 이진 형태를 채택하였다. MFLA는 기존 LCD 백라이트 장치에서 필요로 했던 프리즘판 및 확산판을 대체할 수 있다. MFLS가 적용된 도광판의 성능을 나타내기 위하여 휘도와 균일도 값 등을 계산하였다.

  • This paper deals with the device for measuring the time-varying magnetic fields and induced voltages caused by lightning discharges. The two magnetic field measuring systems were designed and made. One consists of the loop-type magnetic field sensor with the active integrator operated by a differential amplifier. The other consists of the loop-type magnetic field sensor and Labview software. The loop-type magnetic field sensor detects the time derivative of the magnetic field being measured, and the signal detected is integrated by the Labview software. As a consequence, from the calibration experiments, the frequency bandwidth of the full measuring system ranges from 400 [Hz] to 1 (MHz) and the response sensitivity are 0.98 (mV/nT) and 22 (mV/nT) for the magnetic field sensor of 2 turns and 6 turns, respectively. Also, the results obtained by the two measuring devices well agreed with each other.

가속형 다침전극의 이온풍 특성 연구 (A Study on Ion Wind Characteristics of Acceleration Type Multipoint Electrode)

  • In this paper, after an acceleration typed ion wind generator which could format strong electric field in air was manufactured and installed, the effects of the electrode configuration and distance of acceleration type ion wind generator with triangle structure on the ion wind generation characteristics were investigated. As a result, the ion wind generator with curvature multipoint electrode could generate higher ion wind velocity and ion wind generation yield than others with multipoint electrode, curvature line electrode, line electrode structure. The ion wind generator with curvature multipoint electrode showed a peak ion wind velocity of 1.33[m/s] at 19.0[kV] and a ion wind generation yield of 0.12[m/Ws] at 15.0[kV].

주거용 건물 태양광발전시스템의 설치유형에 따른 발전성능 평가 (Evaluation of Electricity Generation According to Installation Type of Photovoltaic System in Residential Buildings)

  • The types of installation of the photovoltaic system applied to domestic residential buildings are classified as follows: Mounted modules with air circulation, semi-integrated modules with air duct behind, integrated modules with fully insulated back. In order to study generation characteristics of PV system, we verified the validity of interpretation program based on long-term measurement data of demonstration house installed in BAPV form and also analyzed the generation characteristics and performance of each installation type. The results are as follows. First, the RMSE of amount of generation and simulation according to annual daily insolation of demonstration system located in Daejeon was 0.98kWh and the range of relative error of monthly power generation was -5.8 to 3.1. Second, the average annual PR of mounted modules was 82%, semi-integrated modules 76.1% and integrated modules 71.9%. This differences were attributed to temperature loss. Third, the range of operating temperature of annual hourly photovoltaic modules was -6.5 to $61.0^{\circ}C$ for mounted modules, $-6.0{\sim}73.9^{\circ}C$ for semi-integrated modules and -5.5 to $88.9^{\circ}C$ for integrated modules. The temperature loss of each installation type was -14.0 to 16.1%, -13.8 to 21.9%, and -13.6 to 28.5%, respectively.

  • 본 연구에서는 광학계를 설계하고 이미지 센서를 사용하여 자외선 영역에서 근적외선(220nm~1100nm)의 광학적 특성평가를 측정시간 16ms에서 20000ms 범위에서 검지할 수 있도록 하는 시스템을 제작하고 본 시스템의 응용연구를 통해 조명산업 및 표시소자 산업의 연구개발 및 품질관리 평가에 필요한 칼라의 색좌표, 연색성, 휘도, 색차, 색순도, 반사율, 투과율 등을 측정하였다.

  • To apply the flux-lock type SFCL into power system, its current and voltage ratings are required to increase. Especially, in case of series connection of SFCLs, the countermeasure for simultaneous quenches must be considered. The structure, which each flux-lock type SFCL unit was wound in series on the same iron core, can induce the simultaneous quench of superconducting elements. Through the fault current limiting experiment for the suggested structure, it was confirmed that the even voltage burden among the superconducting elements comprising SFCLs could be made.

  • We investigated the quench characteristics of a superconducting element, two superconducting elements in order to increase the current capacity of flux lock type SFCL. The flux-lock type SFCL consisted of the transformer with a primary winding and a secondary winding connected in parallel, and the superconducting element was connected with secondary winding in series. The applied voltage at that time was 160 ${\sqrt{3}}$. We found that the parallel connection between the superconducting elements increased the power capacity and let quench characteristics improve through their mutual linkage.

Voltage Sag 보상을 위한 승압형 단상 인버터 시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on Boost Type Single-Phase Inverter System for Compensation of Voltage Sag)

  • This paper proposes a boost type single-phase inverter system to compensate the voltage sag appeared on source side. The proposed system is composed of a boost converter, a PWM inverter, and a bypass diode. If the voltage sag has appeared in input voltage, the boost converter would be operated to compensate it in the proposed system. The boost converter would not be operated when the magnitude of input voltage is more than 0.9 pu. The output voltage is kept constant by a direct-quadrature frame controller in the inverter. A 300 W class boost type inverter system was simulated, and the validity of the proposed system was verified by carrying out experiments.

  • The current streetlight system have been tried various attempts. but during maintenance, it has caused the traffic congestion and many risk factors. In addition, maintenance costs are very expensive to manage and the local government have to establish countermeasures about the present condition. If neglected, it may cause a variety of social problems. so, there should be a measure to prevent problems. This rotational and up-and-down type streetlight can be a solution to these factors and it has been highlighted indirectly in terms of green growth because we have to take advantage of the value.

  • 최근 새로운 개념의 보강토 옹벽이 많이 개발되고 있으나, 개발된 보강재에서 발생되는 시공과정에서 문제나 붕괴와 같은 문제의 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 신장형 띠형 보강재의 형상에 따른 현장 적용성을 인발저항시험과 내시공성시험으로 평가하고자 하였다. 시험체는 일반적인 신장형 띠형 보강재, 돌기가 부착된 개발된 신장형 띠형 보강재, 지오그리드를 절단하여 만든 띠형 보강재를 사용하여, 신장형 띠형 보강재 형상의 차이에 대한 기초적인 연구를 수행하고 각 보강재료의 장단점을 비교하였다. 연구 결과로서 보강재의 형상에 따른 장·단점을 명확하게 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 보강토 옹벽의 설치 조건과 뒤채움재의 입도를 고려하여 선택한다면 최선의 보강재를 선택할 수 있을 것으로 나타났다.
