재가방문요양시설장의 리더십유형이 조직유효성에 미치는 영향과 조직신뢰의 조절역할: 요양보호사를 중심으로 (Effects of the In-Home Visitation Care Facility Directors' Leadership Types on Organizational Effectiveness and the Moderating Role of Organizational Trust)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 재가방문요양시설장의 변혁적 및 거래적 리더십이 조직유효성에 미치는 영향과 리더 십유형과 조직유효성간 관계에서 조절변수로서의 조직신뢰의 역할을 탐구하는데 있었다. 본 연구에서 조직유효성 변수로는 직무만족과 이직의도의 두 변수를 사용하였다. 연구를 위해서 구조화된 질문지를 이용하여 서울시 소재 50개 재가방문요양시설에 근무하고 있는 요양보호사 290명으로부터 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 단계적 회귀분석방법을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과 시설장의 변혁적 리더십은 요양보호사들의 직무만족에 유의미한 긍정적인 영향을 미치고, 이직의도에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면에 거래적 리더십은 직무만족에 이직의도에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 조직신뢰는 변혁적 리더십과 직무만족간의 관계를 조절하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • This study investigated the influence of director's leadership on teachers' empowerment and organizational effectiveness in early childhood educational institutes. The subjects in this study were 627 teachers who worked at kindergartens and childcare centers located in Seoul and Gyeonggi province. The results showed that (1) transformational leadership had stronger effects on teacher empowerment than transactional leadership. (2) Directors' transformational leadership had meaningful effects on organizational commitment, but their transactional leadership didn't have effects on commitment. (3) Directors' transformational leadership had stronger effects on job satisfaction and job performance than transactional leadership.

전문병원 병원장의 리더십이 조직유효성과 고객지향성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Specialty Hospital CEO Leadership Style on Hospital Organizational Effectiveness and Customer Orientation)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose an effective leadership in the hospital management by analyzing the relationship of the effect of the specialty hospital CEO's leadership on the employees' organizational effectiveness as well as the customer orientation, and the mediation effects of the organizational effectiveness on the relation between hospital CEO's leadership and the customer orientation. The questionnaires of the survey targeting the 99 specialty hospitals were collected that 786 copies of them were utilized in analysis. The major outcomes of the research can be summarized as follows. Firstly, transformational leadership of specialty hospital CEO generally has the greater impact on the employees' job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention than his transactional leadership. Secondly, the most important sub-variable of specialty hospital CEO leadership affecting the organizational effectiveness of the employees are charisma of transformational leadership and contingent reward of transactional leadership. Thirdly, the sub-variable of specialty hospital CEO leadership which has the greatest impact on customer orientation of employees is the active management-by-exception of transactional leadership. Fourthly, the sub-variables in the organizational effectiveness such as job satisfaction, organizational commitment and the turnover intention of hospital employees play mostly the partial mediation role between the customer orientation of employees and the leadership of a specialty hospital CEO. This means that the more the organizational effectiveness of specialty hospital employees improves, the more the customer orientation does. Thus, specialty hospital CEOs need to pay attention to the sub-variables in organizational effectiveness so as to improve the customer orientation of the employees. To explore further the nature of the effect of hospital leadership in the future, apart form the variables of the organization effectiveness used in this study to improve the customer orientation of employees through the leadership of the specialty hospital CEO, the research to identify other factors which have greater influence and explanatory power will be needed.

마을평생교육지도자 양성과정 참여자의 특성에 따른 리더십유형과 프로그램 만조도와의 상관관계 (The Relation between Program Satisfactions and Leadership -Types of Who Participating in the Programs of Village Lifelong Education Leaders-)

  • 본 연구는 마을평생교육지도자양성과에 참여한 학습자의 개별적 리더십특성에 따라 프로그램 만족도를 알아보는 것이다. 본 연구의 중요한 연구목표를 보면, 마을평생교육지도자 양성과정의 개념을 살펴보고, 마을평생교육지도자에 관련된 이론을 탐색하며, 참여자의 개별적 특성별 리더십유형과의 프로그램만족도간의 상관관계를 파악해 보는 것이다. 본 연구를 통해 나타난 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성별에 따라 거래적 리더십과 예외적 관리 리더십과의 유의미한 차이를 보이고 있다. 둘째, 평생교육에 대한 경험유무에 따라 변혁적 리더십유형의 하위 유형인 카리스마적 리더십과 거래적 리더십 하위유형인 예외적 리더십유형과의 유의미한 차이를 보이고 있다. 셋째, 변혁적 리더십의 평균값이 거래적 리더십의 평균값보다 높게 나타났다. 넷째, 변혁적 리더십을 지니고 있는 참여자의 하위리더십의 유형의 순위는 인간관계, 정신적 동기, 지적자극 및 카리스마 등으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 거래적 리더십을 지니고 있는 참여자의 하위리더십의 순위는 성취에 대한 보상, 예외적 관리 등으로 나타났다.

간호사의 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향요인 (Factors influencing Nurses' Organizational Citizenship Behavior)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the factors that influence nurses' organizational citizenship behavior. Methods: A cross-sectional design was used, with a convenience sample of 547 nurses from four university hospitals in Seoul and Gyeonggi province. The data were collected through a questionnaire survey done from September 22 to October 10, 2008. The tools used for this study were scales on organizational citizenship behavior (14 items), self-leadership (14 items), empowerment (10 items), organizational commitment (7 items), job satisfaction (8 items) and transformational transactional leadership (14 items). Cronbach's alpha and factor analysis were examined to test reliability and construct validity of the scale. The data collected were processed using SPSS Window 15.0 Program for actual numbers and percentages, differences in the dependent variable according to general characteristics, and means, standard deviations, correlation coefficients and multiple regression analysis. Results: The factors influencing nurses' organizational citizenship behavior were identified as self-leadership ($\beta=.247$), empowerment ($\beta=.233$), job satisfaction ($\beta=.209$), organizational commitment ($\beta=.158$), and transactional leadership ($\beta=.142$). Five factors explained 42.0% of nurses' organizational citizenship behavior. Conclusion: The results of this study can be used to develop further management strategies for enhancement of nurses' organizational citizenship behavior.

간호학생의 리더십 유형과 자아 존중감, 임상실습 만족도의 관계 연구 (The Relationship between Leadership Styles and Self-esteem, Satisfaction of Clinical Practice in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The Purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between leadership styles and self-esteem, satisfaction of clinical practice in nursing students. Method:The subjects were 386 nursing students who were in college and university located around Seoul, Kyounggi, Chungchung, Kangwon province. The data were collected from July 26 to September 18, 2004 by the structured questionnaires. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression with SAS package were used. Results: 1. The score of the nursing students' transformational leadership were higher than that of the nursing students' transactional leadership. 2. The mean of satisfaction of clinical practice perceived by nursing students was 3.07, and its subcategories were practice contents 3.28, practice evaluations 3.11, practice hours 3.00, practice environments 2.99, practice directions 2.98. 3. 'Transformational leadership', 'charisma', 'intellectual stimulation' and 'individual consideration' were positively related to 'self-esteem', 'satisfaction of clinical practice' of nursing students. 4. 'Contingent reward' was positively related to 'self-esteem'. And 'Management by exception' was negatively related to 'self-esteem'. 5. 'Transactional leadership', 'Contingent reward' were positively related to 'satisfaction of clinical practice' of nursing students. 6. As a result of multiple regression analysis, the key determinants of 'self-esteem' were 'charisma' and this explained 27.41% of the total variance of it. And the key determinants of 'satisfaction of clinical practice' were 'charisma' and this explained 10.94% of the total variance of it.

리더십 유형이 구성원의 조직몰입과 직무만족에 미치는 영향 : 종합병원 의무기록실을 대상으로 (Leadership Style of Medical Record Directors at General Hospitals and it's Effect on the Organizational Commitment and Job Satisfaction)

  • 1) Background: The hospitals of modem society, like any other business entities, have to constantly strive to secure their survival from aggressive changes and competition outside. In this unstable environment, effective leadership is one of the most effective strategies for securing organization's growth as well as stability. This study investigated types of leadership (transformational or transactional) that is dominant in medical record departments and compared it's effects on organizational commitment and job satisfaction of their organizational members by types. 2) Method: A questionnaire was developed and mailed to all medical record administrators working at general hospitals throughout the country except department directors (N=450). Of these, 150 useable questionnaires were returned and analyzed by t-test, multiple regression analysis using SPSS. 3) Results: The organizational commitment and job satisfaction were a little bit higher than moderate level, and that of leadership perceived by medical record administrators was also in moderate level throughout types. Significant characteristics (positively) related to organizational commitment and job satisfaction by univariate analysis were marital status (married), position (middle management) and both type of leadership. However transformational leadership was the only significant factor in leadership styles after considering all the factors related to organizational commitment and job satisfaction together by multivariate analysis. 4) Conclusion: The average organizational commitment and job satisfaction of medical record administrators was just in moderate level. Efforts should be made to increase them by improving leadership capacity of medical record directors, primarily by using transformational leadership approach.

항공사승무원의 고용불안정이 심리적계약 위반과 직무만족에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Job Insecurity of Airline Crew Members on Their Psychological Contract Violation and Job Satisfaction)

  • 본 연구는 항공사 승무원의 고용불안이 심리적계약위반과 직무에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 파악하기 위하여 가설을 설정하였다. 항공사 승무원이 느끼는 고용불안을 감소시키는데 유의미한 시사점을 제공하고자하였으며, 심리적계약위반을 완화시킬 수 있는 방안을 검토하여 항공사의 인적자원관리에 이론적 실무적 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다. 실증분석결과는 아래와 같다. 먼저 "항공사승무원이 지각하는 고용불안정은 거래 심리적 계약위반에 정의 영향을 미칠 것이다"는 가설 1-1은 채택되었다. 둘째, "항공사승무원이 지각하는 고용불안정은 관계 심리적 계약위반에 정의 영향을 미칠 것이다" 는 가설 1-2는 채택되었다. 셋째, "항공사승무원이 지각하는 거래 심리적 계약위반은 직무만족에 부의 영향을 미칠 것이다" 는 H 2-1는 채택되었다. 반면 충분한 교육훈련이나 경력계발기회 등의 관계 심리적 계약위반을 높게 지각할수록 직무만족에는 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타나 가설 2-2는 기각 되었다. 마지막으로 "항공사승무원이 지각하는 고용불안정은 직무만족에 부의 영향을 미칠 것이다"는 가설 3은 채택되었다. 즉 위협적인 상황으로 인해 자신의 직무가 없어질 지도 모른다는 무력감을 느낄수록 직무만족은 저하되는 것으로 나타났다.

인지된 공정성이 오픈마켓의 만족과 지속적 이용의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Perceived Equity on Satisfaction and Continuance Intention in Openmarket)

  • As the Internet is explosively growing and the market is rapidly globalized, many entrepreneurs have been given an impetus to take on the function of the intermediation between providers and customers. Organizations performing the mediating roles in the cyberspace are termed 'cybermediary' and often called 'Openmarket' as a kind of transactional cybermediary in Korea. Despite sustainable growth of Openmarket, customer complaints and damages are increasing because of absence of recovery standards after a service failure. Therefore, it is important that a service provider converts dissatisfied customers to advocates for the growth of the Openmarket. This study aims to examine the role of recovery of the service failures for the Openmarket by proposing a relationship between complaint handling and continuance based on the equity theory. From the empirical results, we found that interactional equity had significant effects on both overall service satisfaction and recovery satisfaction, while procedural equity significantly influenced only recovery satisfaction. Recovery satisfaction also had an impact on overall service satisfaction and each satisfaction factor was positively related to continuance intention.

항공객실승무원의 팔로워십, 리더십 유형이 직무만족 및 팀 몰입에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Effects of Followership and Leadership of Flight Attendant on Job Satisfaction and Team Commitment)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to propose useful suggestions by analyzing causal effect relationship between quality of followership, perceived style of leadership, job satisfaction and team commitment in the aviation industry. Methods: For the analysis of this study, a survey was conducted on local flight attendant. A total of 364 surveys were collected and 336 effective samples were used for analysis. And the collected data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling. Results: The results of this study were as follows : First, In the relationship between quality of followership and perceived leadership styles, independent thinking has a positive effect on all six sub-factors of transformational and transactional leadership and active engagement has negative influence on all six sub-factors of transformational and transactional leadership. Inaddition As a result of total and direct and indirect effects, Idealized Influence of perceived leadership style indirectly influences between Quality of Followership and job satisfaction, Idealized Influence, Inspirational Motivation, Intellectual Stimulation, Individualized Consideration, Contingent Reward of perceived leadership style have been shown to have indirect effects on team Commitment Conclusion: Based on the characteristics of followers and the type of leadership, it is necessary to develop ways to develop job satisfaction and team commitment of airline crews. In addition, flight attendant act as leaders and followers of each other depending on their work characteristics. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the relationship between leadership and followership based on the results of this study.
