  • This paper proposes two detection algorithms for Multi-user Space Time Block Code systems. The first one is linear detection Gaussian Elimination algorithm, and then it combined with Ordered Successive Cancellation to get better performance. The comparisons between receiver and other popular receivers, including linear receivers are provided. It will be shown that the performance of Gaussian Elimination receiver is similar but more simplicity than linear detection algorithms and performance of Gaussian Elimination Ordered Successive Cancellation superior as compared to other linear detection method.

  • In this paper, an improved ordered block minimum mean squared error (OB-MMSE) detector for generalized spatial modulation (GSM) systems is presented. It is based on an ordered successive interference cancellation (OSIC) technique. Its bit error rate (BER) performance and computational complexity are compared with those of the corresponding original OB-MMSE detector. It is shown that the proposed OSIC-based OB-MMSE detector outperforms the OB-MMSE detector in terms of BER without noticeable complexity increase.

  • In this letter, an ordered successive interference cancellation (OSIC) scheme is applied for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) detection in ultra-wideband (UWB) communication systems. The error rate expression of an OSIC receiver on a log-normal multipath fading channel is theoretically derived in a closed form solution. Its bit error rate performance is analytically compared with that of a zero forcing receiver in the UWB MIMO detection scheme followed by RAKE combining.

  • In this paper, we define generalized induced linguistic aggregation operator called generalized induced linguistic ordered weighted harmonic mean(GILOWHM) operator. Each object processed by this operator consists of three components, where the first component represents the importance degree or character of the second component, and the second component isused to induce an ordering, through the first component, over the third components which are linguistic variables and then aggregated. It is shown that the induced linguistic ordered weighted harmonic mean(ILOWHM) operator and linguistic ordered weighted harmonic mean(LOWHM) operator are the special cases of the GILOWHM operator. Based on the GILOWHM and LWHM operators, we develop an approach to group decision making with linguistic preference relations. Finally, a numerical example is used to illustrate the applicability of the proposed approach.

  • In this paper, we consider the intuitionistic fuzzification of the notion of a interior ideal in ordered semigroup S, and investigate some properties of such ideals. In terms of intuitionistic fuzzy set, characterizations of intuitionistic fuzzy interior ideals in ordered semigroups are discussed. Using a collection of interior ideals with additional conditions, an intuitionistic fuzzy interiror ideal is constructed. Natural equivalence relations on the set of all intuitionistic fuzzy interior ideals of an ordered semigroup are investigated. We also give a characterization of a intuitionistic fuzzy simple semigroup in terms of intuitionistic fuzzy interior ideals.

  • The Reverse k Nearest Neighbor (RkNN) query is valuable for finding objects influenced by a specific object and is widely used in both scientific and commercial systems. However, the influence level of each object is unknown, information that is critical for some applications (e.g. target marketing). In this paper, we propose a new query type, Ordered Reverse k Nearest Neighbor (ORkNN), and make efforts to adapt it in an on-demand scenario. An Order-k Voronoi diagram based approach is used to answer ORkNN queries. In particular, for different values of k, we pre-construct only one Voronoi diagram. Algorithms on both the server and the clients are presented. We also present experimental results that suggest our proposed algorithms may have practical applications.

  • A method of preparation of magnetite nanoparticles in ordered systems, as in vesicle and microemulsion, consisting of soybean lecithin and water has been introduced. The size of magnetite grain was controlled by the content of soybean lecithin and size of liposomes in the systems. It was found by experiment that magnetite nanoparticles were formed inside the double layer vesicles. The magnetite nanoparticles were separated by magnetic separation and centrifugation and the dispersion of the magnetite nanoparticles prepared at 10% (w/w) soybean lecithin was particularly stable. The formation of pure magnetite nanoparticles was confirmed by analyses of XRD and electron diffraction pattern.

  • In this paper, we investigate the properties of residuated partially ordered sets as weak definitions of algebraic structures in many valued logics. We study the left(resp. right) residuated semigroups induced by right(resp. left) associated map. We give their examples.
