In order to accomplish the purpose of this study, participants of the equestrian program were set as the population and the sample was extracted by the method of Stratified cluster random sampling. The input data were statistically processed according to the purpose of the study using the SPSS / AMOS 22.0 Version Statistical Program for Windows, and the results were as follows. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, there were some differences in demographic characteristics such as horse riding experience, social development, life satisfaction, and participation level. Second, there was a partial relationship between participation level and social development of participants. Particularly, the degree of participation in horse riding experience was related to the activity of social development. Third, the participation level of horse riding experience was analyzed as having no direct influence on participants' life satisfaction. Fourth, it was analyzed that the development of sociality due to participation in horse riding experiences did not directly affect life satisfaction. This study analyzes the effects of the self-esteem on the life satisfaction of 2,040 middle school senior students using the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey 2012 Data (KCYPS 2012) provided by the National Youth Policy Institute. In the ecological perspectives, this study considers two factors which influence the life satisfaction of the students; one factor is the environmental characteristics like parent intimacy, friend intimacy, teacher intimacy and study adaptation, and the other factor is the individual characteristics. In particular, self-esteem as one of the individual characteristics is divided into two separate categories, positive self and negative self. The two categories are found to have some interaction effects on the life satisfaction at the evaluation level. The effects of the negative self-evaluation on the life satisfaction appear to be different depending on the level of the positive self-evaluation. As the level of the positive self-evaluation becomes higher, the effects of the negative self-evaluation on the life satisfaction decreases. The life satisfaction becomes higher as the level of the negative self-evaluation is lower, and the life satisfaction is not high relatively at the low level of the positive self-evaluation. These results suggest that solving the adolescent's negative self-formation problem can not bring out the positive self-formation and there should be some plans for the positive self-formation more than simply solving the negative self- formation problem in order to improve the life satisfaction.
This study aims to analyze the mediating effect of disability level on the relationship between economic activity participation and life satisfaction level of middle-age and older women with disabilities. The survey respondents were 4,961 women with disabilities aged from 45 to 65 who participated in one of the first series of the PSED(2nd to 8th). Results of the analysis showed the economic activities of middle-aged and older women with disabilities and level of disability were correlated with a statistical significance in the analysis phase 1 and 2, and economic activity participation affected life satisfaction level through the level of disability as a parameter, indicating that a mediating effect does exist. This study suggests that to enhance the life satisfaction level of middle-aged and older women with disabilities through participation in economic activities, an employment scheme based on their level of disability is necessary.

The purposes of this study were to identify the factors that affect the life satisfaction of unmarried one-person households and to examine how these factors influence this population. This study targeted 308 unmarried one-person households. The results found the following: one-person households without marriage experience had higher levels of job stress than one-person households with marriage experience, and the level of differentiation of family projections was lower; the overall level of life satisfaction was higher in one-person households without marriage experience than in one-person households with marriage experience; in one-person households without marriage experience, higher life satisfaction correlated with higher levels of self-integration, family projection processes, and family retirement differentiation, and lower job stress, which was correlated with higher self-control ability, higher evaluation and higher material support; and life satisfaction was found to be higher in unmarried one-person households that received more information and had a lower age, lower job stress, and higher monthly income. The instruments included the Family Support Scale developed by Kang, Life Satisfaction Scale developed by Choi, Health Promoting Behavior Scale designed by Walker, et al. The scores for HPB ranged from 40 to 160 with a mean score of 98.07. In the sub-dimensions of HPB, the participants showed the highest level of engagement in the nutrition domain, and the lowest level of engagement in the exercise domain. 2. Higher levels of family support and life satisfaction were correlated with more engagement in HPB. 3. The most influencing factor on HPB in the elderly was family support. accounting for 11% of the total variance in HPB. A combination of education level and types of living patterns accounted for 18% of the total variance in HPB. Life satisfaction accounted for 14% of the self-actualization domain, and 5% of the stress management domain, in the sub-dimensions of HPB. Conclusion: Perceived family support was identified as an important factor to predict HPB in the elderly. However, life satisfaction was identified as only partially influencing HPB among the elderly.
This study analyzes the differences in school life satisfaction according to middle school students' general characteristics, including their gender, grade, monthly household income, and parents' education level, and examines the effects of intimacy with parents, optimism, and learning motivation on school life satisfaction. Data were collected from 380 middle school students by using a socio-demographic questionnaire. A measurement tool for intimacy with parents, optimism, learning motivation, and school life satisfaction was used, and a frequency analysis, a t-test, a one-way ANOVA, a correlation analysis, and a path analysis were conducted. School life satisfaction showed differences in terms of middle school students grade and, parental education but there were no meaningful differences in terms of their gender and monthly household income. Intimacy with parents and optimism had direct effects on motivation; intimacy with the father and optimism had direct and indirect effects, respectively; and intimacy with the mother had an indirect effect. An increase in the level of intimacy between parents and students and an increase in the positive perception of oneself facilitated learning motivation as well as school life satisfaction.
