This study is concerned with the reduction of fraction defective for quality improvement model in manufacturing system. For the methodology, a heuristic method for the selection of alternatives of process improvement is introduced for quality improvement and cost problem subject to cost constraints. This study suggests a model for selecting fraction defective reduction alternatives in multi-stage manufacturing system and a numerical example is presented.

This paper presents an environment for rule-based English-Korean machine translation system, which supports the translation domain adaptation and the continuous translation quality improvement. For the purposes, corpus is essential, from which necessary information for translation will be acquired. The environment consists of a corpus construction part and a translation knowledge extraction part. The corpus construction part crawls news articles from some newspaper sites. The extraction part builds the translation knowledge such as newly-created words, compound words, collocation information, distributional word representations, and so on. For the translation domain adaption, the corpus for the domain should be built and the translation knowledge should be constructed from the corpus. For the continuous improvement, corpus needs to be continuously expanded and the translation knowledge should be enhanced from the expanded corpus. The proposed web-based environment is expected to facilitate the tasks of domain adaptation and translation system improvement.

Several housing improvement programs for low-income have done by Ministry of Health & Welfare, Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy, Ministry of Security and Public Administration, Ministry of Environment, and Ministry of Land, infrastructure and Transport up to now. Each program practiced separately based on each agency's function and territory, but there are also negative opinion on beneficiary duplication, beneficiary omission, and the inefficient execution of the government budget. This study analyzes the housing improvement programs of each agency on the aspects of coordination, and suggests the integration system with coordination and delivery system. We selected 3 indexes such as similarity, integration effect and availability for integration system and analyzed the effects of integrated programs into one based on cost, repair effect and management. We proposed that the similar housing improvement programs of each agency should be coordinated for integration. But it is not easy to integrate similar programs into one program, therefore similar programs which support the house owner are needed to integrate into housing benefit except same beneficiary who owned own house.

With the advancement of the industry such as information technology, residential facilities has been consistently achieved high standard. Ubiquitous system has been introduced in apartments nowadays, and it will be general facilities in the near future. However elderly people is not generally accustomed to ubiquitous or internet environment, so degree of ubiquitous system usage is able to be less than young people. This study aims to grasp the relative importance of ubiquitous environment, and offer materials to realize residential environment's improvement of silver towns under investigation through a questionnaire survey. Skin recognition system was most preferred among various functions. Energy management system, protection system of solitude elderly person and security system by CCTV was also preferred at a high rate. Housework part such as cooking aid, height control of sink and basin etc., was not less important system relatively.

This writing is for the purpose of investigating the specific character and problem point of China arbitration system which has near 90 years history and overviewing the drift of system improvement which happens recently. The arbitration system of China which traditionally does not acknowledge ad hoc arbitration, unlike most of the other nations that employ The UNCITRAL model law and make it their own legislation, is restrictive to the parties concerned principle of private autonomy considerably. Also the independence of arbitration is delicate, because of a civil characteristic weakness of the arbitral institutions and the intervention of the courts on the arbitration procedure and award. The dual system of domestic and international arbitration which maintains after enforcement of 1994 arbitration law is often to be a primary factor interrupting the development of Chinese arbitration system and making it vulnerable to challenges. The system improvement demand of the recent time reflects this point and makes the arbitration system of China to a international standard rather than now, so it is a desirable direction for China to be as the member of the world economy to be globalization.

본 연구는 ISO 9000 시리즈 인증을 획득함으로써 품질보증시스템구축 뿐만 아니라, 이미 기존 논문들에서 밝혀진 품질의식향상, 관리능력향상, 품질시스템 확립 등의 효과들로 인한 제품의 품질향상정도를 파악하기 위한 것이다. 제품의 품질향상을 확인하기 위해서 설계품질, 제조품질, 서비스품질의 향상분석뿐만 아니라 Garvin의 8가지 제품품질특성 향상분석도 이루어졌다.

In this paper, a power controller and 3 phase voltage source inverter are proposed for the improvement of weldability of large scaler Mash seam welder. The welder system is designed for the low cost and the improvement of weldability. For this system, the thyristor convertor has performed constant current controlling in the output terminal by using PAM type inverter. We have simulated our algorithm and made a prototype welder for experiment. Through the experiment, we have confirmed the improvement of weldability of our system.

Most O4I Systems are considered as one of the major system in future Information Warfare. However, it is difficult to measure the effectiveness of force improvement when C4I System is used with other weapon systems, quantitatively. In this Paper, we propose a quantitative method to evaluate the force improvement effectiveness of KNTDS(Korea Naval Tactical Data System). This method utilized the Lanchester's equations and its applications. We also showed a numerical example based on a given scenario in a sea battle and the ASP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) Method is applied to verify its results.

A costal improvement project is designed for preventing disasters on the coast, improving costal environment, and promoting costal functions, so it is different from the one for developing coasts. However, the costal improvement project also affects the surrounding environment and it may damage the costal environment in some cases. In line with this, this study was carried out to provide the guideline to the review on environmental conditions, which should be performed in the stage of establishing the plan for a costal improvement project, so that the influence affecting marine environment can be reduced and more efficient coastal project can be planned. The costal improvement project is different in the degree of affecting the costal environment according to kinds, scales, and regions. Accordingly, in this study the state of the coastal improvement project and involved problems were analyzed. The prior environmental review system was divided into a seawall-installation project, a marine construction such as the installation of submerged breakwater and jetties, and a project for creating water-friendly coast including a park without marine landfill. The main items for reviewing these specific projects were presented.

교육부는 2013년부터 초등학교와 중학교를 대상으로 웹 기반의 기초학력 진단-보정 시스템을 전국에 서비스하고 있다. 이 논문의 목적은 2015년에 실시된 기초학력 진단-보정 시스템 기반의 향상도 검사 결과와 교사 및 전문가들의 요구사항을 종합적으로 분석하여 시스템의 개선 방안을 도출하는 것이다. 이를 위해 진단-보정 차수별 응시율과 도달율을 분석하고, 교사 자문위원회와 전문가 협의회의 인터뷰 및 협의 내용을 기초로 기초학력 진단-보정 시스템의 개선방안을 도출하였다. 결론적으로 기초학력 진단-보정 시스템의 발전 방안을 교사 이용 활성화 방안과 학생 이용 활성화 관점으로 구체화여 제언하였다.
