안전 필수 철도 시스템 개발을 위한 요구 사항의 정형 명세 작성 (Development of the Formal Requirements Specification of the Safety-critical Railway Systems)

  • 철도 제어 시스템은 대표적인 안전철수 시스템이다. 국제 규격의 컴퓨터 기반의 철도 제어 시스템을 개발하기 위해서 정형 기법을 이용한 요구사항 명세와 검증이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 정형 기법을 사용하여 요구사항 명세를 작성하는 지침서(guideline)을 개발하고, 컴퓨터 기반의 열차 제어 장치 시스템에 대한 실제 적용 사례를 제시한다. 정형 명세를 위해 상태차트(statechart)와 Z를 사용하고, 정형 명세의 일치성(consistency)과 완전성(completeness)을 검증한다.

BIM 기반 건축법규 자동검토를 위한 사전정의서 개발 (Development of Pre-Specification for BIM-based Automated Building Code Checking)

  • Building Information Modeling (BIM) has been adopted in variety domain of construction industry. In this circumstances, interest of BIM model quality has been increased. In many countries, automated building code checking system by Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) has been developed and studied to use web based building permission systems. IFC is international standard of BIM format. However, the data structure of IFC does not include all of objects and properties about national building codes. In this paper, we developed the information specification between IFC data structure and national building code to increase interoperability. First, we drew the criteria from literature review to analyze the building code. And then, we analyzed building code and sorted objects and properties for automated building code checking. After that we made mapping table between the sorted data and IFC specification. Using the mapping table, we developed pre-specification about building codes information that does not exist in IFC specification. And the defined information can be used to develop the BIM modeling guide and national building permission system. The pre-specification support increasing the interoperability between user and automated building code checking system. Increasing thee interoperability makes improvement accuracy and reliability about result of automated building code checking.

  • Today, offshore design field is concerned with system integration such as CIM(Computer Integrated Manufacturing), PDMS(Product Data Management System) and EDMS(Engineering Data Management System) in order to cope with the change of engineering specification as owner's requirements during construction stage of the project. This paper deals with the case study that describes about the efficient interface between material control system and 3D CAD system to support the design process in offshore industry using design rules involved the designer's knowledge. In this paper, we constructed an information system, called knowledge-based CAD interface systems, which is composed material code management system and 3D specification generator which automatically creates 3D catalogue anti specification by linking the material code, called short code, and the specification components of the 3D CAD system. As a result of the construction, it is possible to maintain consistency of the design process, and through reduction of the design processing time and improvement of the design process, competitiveness is improved.

  • Nowadays, customer-oriented manufacturing enterprises such as airplane, ship, ship engine, etc are knowledge-intensive and higher added value industries. In these companies, to quickly respond customer's order, a quotation management is a very important task. But, this task is very complex, time-consuming, resource- consuming, and difficult process because it is related with many departments within a company. In this paper, for the effective and efficient quotation management, the concept of product specification framework is introduced because a quotation BOM (bills of material) can be created from product specification. Also, this paper presents the product specification framework based quotation management process and implements the quotation management system for the ship engine division of 'H' company, one of customer-oriented manufacturing enterprises. As a result, the proposed quotation management concept reduced a lead time of drawing out quotations from $3{\sim}10$ days to 1 hour. And, the constructed quotation management system achieved a rapidity, accuracy, quality, and workload reduction of the quotation management process.

  • This paper contains the design specification and detail design for a towing winch system. We analyze operating condition of the system and decide the design specification for the winch system, and also perform a detail design for the subsystem such as hydraulic winch system, control equipment and power supplier at the full scale development. The performance of designed towing winch is established by load tests and sea trial tests.

  • The train control system is a facility to ensure safe train operation, and its safety is the most important factor for system introduction. Therefore, in order to improve practical usability in the business, safety analysis and evaluation of train control system and train control related core technologies are needed. Korea Railroad Research Institute has carried out standard development of radio-based train control system as a government research and development project. In this paper, we present a system specification of ATP, a core part of train control system, for standard system of Korean radio-based train control system(KRTCS). The paper present a operation environment and primary ATP functions, and functional requirement specifications.

NuSEE: AN INTEGRATED ENVIRONMENT OF SOFTWARE SPECIFICATION AND V&V FOR PLC BASED SAFETYCRITICAL SYSTEMS

  • As the use of digital systems becomes more prevalent, adequate techniques for software specification and analysis have become increasingly important in nuclear power plant (NPP) safety-critical systems. Additionally, the importance of software verification and validation (V&V) based on adequate specification has received greater emphasis in view of improving software quality. For thorough V&V of safety-critical systems, V&V should be performed throughout the software lifecycle. However, systematic V&V is difficult as it involves many manual-oriented tasks. Tool support is needed in order to more conveniently perform software V&V. In response, we developed four kinds of computer aided software engineering (CASE) tools to support system specification for a formal-based analysis according to the software lifecycle. In this work, we achieved optimized integration of each tool. The toolset, NuSEE, is an integrated environment for software specification and V&V for PLC based safety-critical systems. In accordance with the software lifecycle, NuSEE consists of NuSISRT for the concept phase, NuSRS for the requirements phase, NuSDS for the design phase and NuSCM for configuration management. It is believed that after further development our integrated environment will be a unique and promising software specification and analysis toolset that will support the entire software lifecycle for the development of PLC based NPP safety-critical systems.

  • Application of information technology for the construction area has been processed actively with the development of information technology. In this study, a framework of the Construction Specification IETM(Interactive Electronic Technical Manual) was suggested through the analysis of the Department of Defense(DoD)'s standards and the trend of techniques related to the IETM. As the Framework, the DFD(Data Flow Diagram) of the construction specification IETM's organizing and using procedure was suggested. And a Model of construction specification IETM was organized on the basis of DFD. Finally, a scenario was constructed by the pilot system which is based on the model. The application of the construction specification IETM would make efficient and effect task implementations possible. By that, in addition to the reduction of the cost and time, the quality enhancement from information missing protect effectiveness could be expected.

  • 본 논문에서는 차세대 인터넷 서비스를 지원하기 위한 광버스트 교환 시스템(Optical Burst Switching System : OBS)의 개발 규격을 제시한다. 개발 규격이란 입출력 노드의 수, 파장의 수, 버퍼의 용량, 컨트롤러의 용량/큐 크기 및 최대 버스트 조립 지연시간을 포함한다. 개발 규격을 제시하기 위하여 관련된 성능 파라메터를 추출하고 시스템의 성능을 최대화하며 가입자의 데이터 손실율을 최소화하는 수학적 모형을 제시하고 효율적인 휴리스틱 알고리즘을 제시한다. 그리고 여러 성능 파라메타들에 대한 시스템의 민감도를 분석한다.

  • 원자력 발전소의 디지털 제어 시스템은 안전성이 중요시되는 safety-critical 소프트웨어로서 충분한 수준의 안전성을 보장하기 위해서 여러 기법들이 적용되고 있다. 특히, 정형명세 기법은 개발의 초기 단계에서 소프트웨어 요구 사항들을 명확하고 완전하게 명세하도록 유도함으로써 안전성을 크게 향상시킬 수 있는 기법으로 인정받고 있다. 본 논문에서는 정형명세 기법인 NuSCR을 이용해서 작성된 요구사항 명세로부터, 설계 단계의 내용으로 사용될 수 있는 PLC 기반의FBD 프로그램을 체계적으로 생성하는 기법을 제안하고 있다. 제안된 기법은 기존의 수동 명세 작업에서 발생할 수 있는 오류들을 크게 줄일 수 있으며, 소프트웨어의 개발 비용과 기간을 줄일 수 있다. 또한, 제안된 기법의 유용성을 증명하기 위해서, 현재 KNICS에서 개발 중인 DPPS RPS의 BP를 구성하는 트립 논리 중의 하나인 고정 설정치 상승 트립을 예제로 설명하고 있다.
