In this paper, we introduce the notion of symmetric bi-f-derivation on subtraction algebra and investigated some related properties. Also, we prove that if D : X → X is a symmetric bi-f-derivation on X, then D satisfies D(x - y, z) = D(x, z) - f(y) for all x, y, z ∈ X.

We consider pseudo-symmetric and Ricci generalized pseudo-symmetric N(${\kappa}$) contact metric manifolds. We also consider N(${\kappa}$)-contact metric manifolds satisfying the condition $S{\cdot}R$ = 0 where R and S denote the curvature tensor and the Ricci tensor respectively. Finally we give some examples.

The symmetric dual filters are essential for the construction of biorthogonal multiresolution an analyses and wavelets. We propose an algorithm to seek for dual symmetric trigonometric filters $\tilde{m}_0$ for for the given symmetric trigonometric filter $m_0$ and illustrate our algorithm by examples.

We define a quarter symmetric metric connection in a Lorentzia para-Sasakian manifold and study CR-submanifolds of a Lorentzian para-Sasakian manifold endowed with a quarter symmetric metric connection. Moreover, we also obtain integrability conditions of the distributions on CR-submanifolds.

The aim of the present paper is to study the Eisenhart problems of finding the properties of second order parallel tensors (symmetric and skew-symmetric) on a 3-dimensional LCS-manifold. We also investigate the properties of Ricci solitons, Ricci semisymmetric, locally ${\phi}$-symmetric, ${\eta}$-parallel Ricci tensor and a non-null concircular vector field on $(LCS)_3$-manifolds.

The object of the present paper is to study the invariant submanifolds of (LCS)n-manifolds. We study generalized quasi-conformally semi-parallel and 2-semiparallel invariant submanifolds of (LCS)n-manifolds and showed their existence by a non-trivial example. Among other it is shown that an invariant submanifold of a (LCS)n-manifold is totally geodesic if the second fundamental form is any one of (i) symmetric, (ii) recurrent, (iii) pseudo symmetric, (iv) almost pseudo symmetric and (v) weakly pseudo symmetric.

The aim of the present paper is to study 3-dimensional trans-Sasakian manifold with respect to semi-symmetric metric connection. Firstly, we prove that extended generalized M-projective 𝜙-recurrent 3-dimensional trans-Sasakian manifold with respect to semi-symmetric metric connection is an 𝜂-Einstein manifold with respect to Levi-Civita connection under some certain conditions. Later we study some curvature properties of 3-dimensional trans-Sasakian manifold admitting the above connection.

Molecular reorientation of oblate symmetric top molecules with internal rotation is investigated theoretically and an analytic expression for the overall reorientational correlation time in terms of the internal angular momentum correlation time is derived. This expression is quite different from the expression for prolate symmetric top molecules but reduces to the same expression in the spherical top limit. Fast internal rotation is treated by a modified version of the extended rotational diffusion while the bulky symmetric top mainbody is treated by the rotational diffusion model.

In this paper, we show that a recurrent manifold with harmonic curvature tensor is locally symmetric and that an Einstein and conformally recurrent manifold is locally symmetric. As a consequence, Einstein and recurrent manifolds must be locally symmetric. On the other hand, we have obtained some results for a (conformally) recurrent manifold with parallel vector field and also investigated some results for a (conformally) recurrent manifold with concircular vector field.
