The urban regeneration project is an activity that promotes the economy in underdeveloped commercial or residential areas and maintains urban communities through improvement of living in residential areas. Through this study, various successful cases of urban regeneration at home and abroad and surveys related to urban regeneration in Bongsan Village, Yeongdo, Busan were collected and analyzed. Key keywords for each case were derived, grouped, and top keywords were created. The 13 top keywords were evaluated using Likert's 5-point scale, and AHP was conducted for the 10 keywords that were finally selected. As a result of AHP analysis, the preference for "spatial and physical properties" was derived in the order of "publicity", "sustainability", and "identity". The preference of "content and system properties" was derived in the order of "resident participation", "convenience", "locality", and "local government participation". It is necessary to present a role as a design guideline for establishing urban regeneration designs in relation to various urban regeneration projects that will become more active in the future through the analysis of preferences of urban regeneration keywords derived through this study.

This paper compares and analyzes the domestic OTT services to access their success factors, strategies and examine the domestic OTT leader's wavve's unique differentiation strategy. It is a comparative study of the top five market share services based on the operator and content's key success factors criteria, revenue structure, personalization, interactive media and cooperation. As a result, the common success factors were contents that reflected the characteristics of the operators, hybrid VOD, hybrid filtering, real-time participation interaction, alliances between the same and heterogeneous industries, and utilization of existing business areas. In addition, the study confirmed that it expanded the scope of the project and operated the contents efficiently by introducing one or more business strategies. wavve has been widely validated with its content, while B2C has long-term benefits and overseas use services, and B2B has a systematic use system, differentiating itself from other services. This paper can be the foundation for identifying the strengths and differences of each service on 2021, entering the domestic OTT industry, and establishing competitive strategies.

In March 2020, the National Assembly revised the Framework Act on Cooperatives, allowing a federation of heterogeneous cooperatives, and in October 2020, the Daegu Gyeongbuk Federation of Local Food Cooperatives was launched as the first federation of heterogeneous cooperatives in the country. The local food movement, which has been promoted upward in the local community as an alternative to the existing global food system, seems to be being activated by the government's food plan policy, but critics say that the government's policy goals are not fully achieved due to the top-down policy promotion and lack of communication. In response, this study first examines the role and significance of the local food federation of heterogeneous cooperatives in solving the problems raised in the process of establishing a food plan. In addition, the current status of the federation was investigated for the successful settlement and development of the Daegu Gyeongbuk Federation of Local Food Cooperatives. A survey of affiliated cooperatives, focus group interviews with managers and experts and related literature surveys were conducted. Based on this, the direction of activities was presented, such as the role of an intermediary in Daegu and Gyeongbuk and the role of an intermediary in the public and private sectors etc. In addition, six joint project tasks were specifically presented, including an integrated information sharing system & a logistics network, a planned production system & a joint processing center, an online sales system & a co-marketing promotion, a joint education system, a management of direct stores & restaurants, a sustainable public-private cooperation system etc.

In the modern society, people live in an environment while sharing a space with each other and secure their own space for the safety. As interest in "Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED)" securing the safety of citizens from crime through environmental design is increasing, this research studies the public space design realized in public environments which is explored through the understanding of the concept of public design. Through the various case studies conducted with the concept and cases of public design, a standard for proceeding with crime prevention design has been established. The research analyzes the results of successful cases with ten extracted keywords, and finally three design solutions for crime prevention were proposed through extracted keywords. Each design solution was evaluated by 25 CPTED researchers who participated in this project with Likert's 5-point scale. Based on final evaluation results, the research will further investigate better and safe approaches and solutions for CPTED.

Productivity estimation of construction operations is crucial to successful project delivery. Especially in the preconstruction phase, the adequacy and effectiveness of plans directly affect the actual performance of operations. Currently, productivity estimation is conducted by referring to existing references such as the Construction Standard Production Rate. However, it is difficult to promptly apply changing conditions of operations when using such references. Moreover, it is difficult to deduce the optimal combination of construction machinery for the given condition. This paper presents a simple simulation model that can be used to generate productivity data that considers site conditions and construction equipment combination. The suggested method is expected to be used as a decision making assisting tool for practitioners who rely on estimations using the Construction Standard Production Rate when establishing construction plans using heavy machinery such as backhoes, loaders and dumptrucks.

Eight years have passed since the Sponsoring Consortium for Open Access Publishing in Particle Physics (SCOAP3) was launched. SCOAP3 is one of the most successful global partnerships and funds for Open Access and has been benchmarked by other Open Access initiatives. The Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) joined as the first Asian partner in 2011, and has supported its shared vision and contributed its financial commitment since the beginning of SCOAP3. SCOAP3-Korea is the first bottom-up collaboration for local libraries to re-direct funds previously used for subscriptions to Open Access publishing. This paper explores the roles and responsibilities of KISTI in the Open Access quest. It describes the commitment to SCOAP3 in South Korea, including how the collaboration model for SCOAP3-Korea differs from the global model. This paper also discusses the impact of SCOAP3-Korea by analyzing publications affiliated by Korean authors in SCOAP3 journals for the last six years (2014-2019). We have integrated the national R&D project and research outcome data from NTIS (National Science and Technology Information Service) to investigate the research articles benefited by SCOAP3 and research publications in non-SCOAP3 journals. The positive impact of SCOAP3 in increasing research publication in the discipline was revealed compared to non-SCOAP3 journals. In addition, the financial benefit of SCOAP3-Korea has been proven. With regard to the investment for readers, $137,094 USD was saved during the SCOAP3 Phase 1 and 2, while $748,923 USD was saved with regard to publication fees. We discussed the lessons from SCOAP3-Korea for commitment to a larger-scale Open Access transition.

In this paper, we present the results of educational innovation case study using U-Learning Box and Ubiquitous-based Test(UBT) system for 6 sample primary schools in Nepal. As Nepal is considered to be a developing country with electricity problem to the school, the U-Learning Box, consisting of a small and easy-to-use tablet PC for teacher and a small smart beam with its own battery was evaluated as the optimum solution to support continuous basic English and hygiene education for these schools. And UBT technology using tablet PC was used to evaluate and analyze basic English learning ability of the students, which helped us realized that it is necessary to improve the educational environment and develop suitable educational contents. We hope that the global educational innovation using U-Learning Box and UBT technology will become a successful model for global equality of educational opportunity project for developing countries including Nepal.

Korean government has developed the 1st version of the National ITS Architecture in 1999 and utilized it as the framework for ITS planning, design, and standardization. The National Architecture now needs to be revised to accommodate environmental changes in ITS market and advancement of ITS core technologies. This study evaluates the current version of the architecture and suggests the directions for revision for a new national ITS architecture. The two most popular methodologies for architecture development-the process-oriented approach and the object-oriented approach-were reviewed, and the process-oriented approach was selected for new architecture development. The concept of the national architecture was then newly defined based on evaluation of the existing architecture. The new National ITS Architecture is suggested to be composed of ITS user services, logical architecture, physical architecture, and project architecture. This study must be followed by actual architecture development efforts and supporting policy actions for successful deployment of the new National ITS Architecture.

The CBDs of major cities in Korea have been deteriorating because of the hollowing-out phenomenon caused by decades-long urban sprawl. The weakening of CBD triggered various efforts to revitalize the area; and several cities have launched regeneration policies in recent years. The purpose of this study is to investigate key factors to revitalize CBD area with reference to various experiences of foreign and domestic countries. This study consists of follows. At first, it analyzes theoretic backgrounds of urban regeneration such as new urbanism; and implements case studies of England, USA, and Japan with respect to their relevant laws and policies. Second, it investigates domestic cases of so-called Newtown projects being implemented in Seoul and Dajeon. We focused on the analysis of strategies and characteristics of housing redevelopment as well as regional center revitalization projects happening in these cites. Lastly, we proposed future directions of urban regeneration in Korea based upon the comparative studies of various cases discussed in this study. The study concludes that diverse efforts in terms of project implementation, planning, and money raise are required for successful urban regeneration in Korea.

Countries around the world are accelerating digital transformation based on intelligent information technology to overcome the economic and social crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and enhance national competitiveness. Based on the Framework Act on Intelligent Informatization, Korea is also focusing on implementing various intelligent informatization policies, projects, and digital platform government. In this study, the government's professional manpower status and operation status were investigated and analyzed based on national statistics, and the number of professionals was insufficient compared to the rapidly increasing project and budget. Based on the results of this study, we hope to achieve a successful digital transformation by calculating appropriate personnel for informatization at the national level and recruiting them as soon as possible
