Sensory attributes and preferences that contribute to consumer satisfaction with artificial leather were measured by subjective evaluation, and subjective hand and preferences were analyzed in relation to its use. Using tactile and visual senses, 50 experts in fashion and textile industry evaluated leathers classified into two categories, suede and polyurethane coated, according to different manufacturing methods. They answered questions on subjective hand and preferences of different artificial leathers of various fashion items (jackets, purses, bags, shoes, boots, furniture, etc.), using specific adjectives to describe the hand properties. As a result, it was found that the subjective hand properties of artificial leathers were related to 'Thickness', 'Fullness/softness', 'Surface contour', 'Stickiness', and 'Elasticity'. The leather type from different manufacturing methods influenced their perceived hand and preferences relating to use. By use, different hands were preferred. The preferences for jackets and furniture of suede type leathers were related to their surface properties, whereas the preferences for items of the other type of leathers were associated with their resilience. On the other hand, in the case of polyurethane coated leathers, the preferences for jackets were significantly affected by their thickness, while those for the other items were influenced by their resilience and surface properties.

주관식 문항은 깊이 있는 사고능력 평가와 고등정신능력 평가에 적합하나 채점하기가 쉽지 않다. 동일한 채점기준을 갖더라도 채점자에 따라 다른 채점결과를 가져올 수 있으므로 객관적인 자동 채점 시스템이 필요하다. 그렇지만 채점 시스템은 표현 언어인 한국어 분석과 비교의 문제가 걸려있다. 본 연구는 한국어의 구문 분석을 구현하고 결과인 구문분석 트리를 비교하는 비교기를 이용하여 주관식 문항을 채점하는 채점 시스템을 설계, 개발하였다. 이 시스템은 단어 중심의 채점 시스템과 구문의미트리 중심의 채점 시스템을 복합한 시스템으로 구문의미트리 비교기를 활용하였다. 본 시스템의 실험 결과 제안한 구문의미트리 중심의 채점 시스템과 복합 채점 시스템이 더 나은 결과를 가져옴을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 한국어 구문의미분석과 주관식 채점 영역에 활용할 수 있고 또한 문서 분류에도 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to find the differences between the husband's and wife's satisfaction of home life. This study is also to compare and analyze some empirical influence on life satisfaction of husband and wife according to home socio-demographic variables and subjective evaluation of economic level including their perception levels of home economics circumstance. The major results are as follows; 1. The husband's score of life satisfaction shows signifcantly more than wife's score that is his score is 3.36 and her score is 3.19. 2. The variables which affect couple's life satisfaction are the perception of resource adequacy the perception of the adequacy of household income, the evaluation level of resource contribution and the perception of level of living relative to others. The most influential variable of the husband is the perception of resource adequacy, while the most influential variable of the sife is the evaluation level of resource contribution. 3. The result of the relative contribution for the variables of life satisfaction are as follows. The explanation of husband's sociodemographic variable is 11.5% if variable of subjective evaluation of economic level is added the explain power is 34.1%(increase, 22.6% (p<0.001)) The explanation of wife's socio-demographic variable is 9.8% If variable of subjective evaluation of economic level is added the explanation is 41.2% (increase 31.4% (p<0.001)).

In the consumer products industry, it has been highly desirable to develop objective test methods to replace subjective evaluation methods. In developing an objective test method, subjective evaluation data should be on a linear scale. According to Thurstone's theory of comparative judgment, a%-preference from a paired-comparison test can be converted to a linear-scale value. The required number (N) of paired-comparison tests increases dramatically as the number of products increases. This problem should be solved by classifying the total products into several subgroups consisting of 3-4 products in each group. By doing so, it can not only significantly reduce the number of required paired-comparison tests, but it can also obtain more reliable, reproducible data.

This study aims to survey the living spaces of the welfare facilities for the aged to get the objective relationships between the physical thermal environment and the users' subjective responses. The surveys were made twice in winter and once in summer during 2001 and 2002. An ambient temperature, relative humidity, air velocity, globe temperature were measured as physical elements of thermal environment and the ASHRAE Psychophysical Voting Scale were used as an evaluation index for subjective responses. As the results, the aged respond thermally comfortable, in spite of the differences among important factors such as thermal sensations, humidity sensations and air velocity sensations. Also the physical thermal environmental elements and the subjective responses indices exceed thermal comfort range calculated by PMV(Predicted Mean Vote) and PPD(Predicted Percentage Dissatisfied). It shows that the insulation of walls of the facilities is not enough for heating and cooling seasons, and the indoor environmental control is necessary.

Fabric hand was assessed for 14 women's spring-fall dress fabrics based on the subjective hand evaluation scale developed in the part 1 of this study. The effects of fabric type, seam and dress style on the subjective hand evaluation of 470 Korean consumers (205 textile experts and 265 non-experts) were investigated. Mechanical properties obtained from KES-FB system were compared with the each dimension of subjective hand expression. The type of fiber and construction were considered to be important factors in affecting hand assessment of Korean consumers, however, the presence and type of seam were not considered to be important. There were certain characteristics of subjective hand attributes for each dress style. Surface properties of fabrics, even though it is not strictly mechanical properties, appeared to be the most effective dimension in the developement of new products which appeal to Korean conssumers.

Within the field of Korean linguistics, it has been observed that subjective adjectival predicate constructions are characteristic of imposing 'coreference constraint' on the higher and lower subjects, while evidential -te- constructions imposing 'non-coreference constraint' on them. I interpret these constraints as dependency constraints between higher and lower judge-sensitive semantic predicates, and investigate the interactions among subjective adjectival predicates, evidential -te-, and modal -keyss- in Korean. The paper ultimately argues for the necessity to add a new indexical element, the judge of evaluation(Lasersohn 2005, Stephenson 2007), to the traditional set of indices that were confined to the world and the time.

Human sensibility is assessed by measuring and analyzing various physiological signals in an objective way, or by analyzing adjectives chosen by the subjects in a subjective way. The present study aims at developing an integrated human sensibility assessment system that measures changes in a person's objective and subjective sensibility in real-time and analyzes them in an integrative way. The present system is composed of a real-time subjective sensibility assessment system, an automatic subjective sensibility assessment system and a real-time physiological signal measurement and analysis system for sensibility assessment, which are separated from one another. It can be utilized individually, or can be combined as a synthetic sensibility assessment system for comprehensive sensibility assessment.

This research entailed the production of stereoscopic 3D (S3D) contents using 2D-to-S3D conversion for exhibition at a museum and subjective evaluation. Hybrid production combining S3D images of existing live-action videos using the 2D-to-S3D conversion technology and computer graphic ones created via stereo rendering was conducted. Design and control of the chronological analysis of the parallactic angle was conducted on the produced contents, using binocular information as well as subjective evaluations, with the intent of conducting an investigation on the characteristics of such contents from the perspectives of the producers and viewers. An investigation was also conducted on the effects of the viewing position on the impressions of the S3D images.

Now days, as the consideration of sound environment is getting important, method of physical measurement such as reverberation time and sound pressure level becomes common. However, such method cant include subjective sensation such as personal emotion and feeling, evaluation. So there is a limitation to make the most optimized sound environment. Therefore, in the present experiment, I improve big indoor gymnasium that has sound defect because of too long reverberation time. After that, I conduct the auditory sense evaluation of human psychological response. From the experiment, I will make research into sound satisfaction rate about the subject space and response of each item. As well as, I will present the result as basic database of sound environment improvement experiment of indoor gymnasium.
