1. In Sui, Tang and Five Dynasty, a discourse related to sleep was published in various big Fang Shu(方書)'s that later became a valuable historical data. Notably, the importance of good sleep began to be properly discussed in "Bei Ji Qian Jin Yao Fang(備急千金要方)" of 'Sun Si Miao(孫思邈)', etc. 2. During Two Song era, achievements in the previous eras were accepted and diseases related to sleep were explored in more details. 3. In Jin and Yuan(金元) era, Liu He Jian(劉河間), in "Su Wen Xuan Ji Yuan Bing Shi(素問玄機原病式)", recognized 'anger' as the cause for various sleep disorders and Li Dong Yuan(李東垣), in "Pi Wei Lun(脾胃論)", believed 'lethargy' and 'Shi Hou Ji Hun Mao Yu Shui(食後卽昏冒欲睡)' are related to narcolepsy linked with stomach. Zhang Cong Zheng(張從正) observed 'insomnia' as an isolated disease whereas Zhu Dan Xi(朱丹溪), in "Ge Zhi Yu Lun(格致餘論)" argued about somnambulism based on the relationship between Xiang Huo(相火) and Xin huo(心火).

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to compare Xingjian(LR2) Shaofu(HT8) with Dadun(LR1) Shaofu(HT8) on Blood Pressure in Hypertensive RAT induced by Two Kidney One Clip(2KIC). Methods : This experiments was to investigate the effects of LR2 HT8(originated from ${\ll}$Classic on Difficulty${\gg}$ Shi Ze Xie Qi Zi), LR1 HT8(originated from ${\ll}$Ling Shu${\gg}$ Sheng Ze Xie Zhi) acupuncture on the blood pressure, cardiomegalic index, and plasma levels of atrial natriuretic peptide in hypertensive rat induced by 2K1C. Results: 1. Blood pressure was decreased significantly after third acupuncture of LR2 HT8. 2. Blood pressure was decreased significantly after acupuncture of LR2 HT8, but was increased after LR2 HT8. 3. Cardiomegalic index was not changed after acupuncture of LR2-HT8 and LR1-HT8 4. Plasma levels of atrial natriuretic peptide was increased significantly after acupuncture of LR2 HT8 but LR1 HT8 was not changed.

Objectives: The Qing Dynasty experienced a development in Yunqi even greater than in the Ming Dynasty. Popularization and universalization of Yunqi theory led to many books on the subject published, especially with weights on Warm Heat Disease and Pestilence, also giving birth to new Yunqi theories. A study into this development has a great significance in the study of the traditional medicine in Qing. Methods: The paper studies the Yunqi books published in the Qing dynasty to find out the unique characters of those books. To understand the direction which the Yunqi theory in the Qing period took, the paper also reviewed the positions of different groups, those who were favorable, those who compromised, and those who were unfavorable. Results: Four directions were taken by the study of Yunqi in the Qing period. First is the systemic study and composition of Neijing's chapter of Yunqi. This direction was taken by Liumaoxiu's NeiJingYunQiBingShi) and $N{\grave{e}}ijingyunqibiao$, Xuefuchen's Suwenyunqitushuo, Zhuenhua's Suwenyunqiqianshuo, an unknown person's Su wen yunqi chao, Weigeliu's Neijingqihuapian. The second direction is the study of Yunqi in relation with the Warm Heat Disease and Pestilence, which was taken by Mayin lin's Wuyunliuqiwenyifayuan, Lumaoxiu's Suwenyipianbìngshi, Litianchi's Shiyiwenbingqìyunzhengyan lun, and Wangxun's Cihangsanyuanfujifang. The third direction deals with a new Yunqi theory. The Fourthis the explanation of Yunqi in the form of Songs, which was taken by Wuqian's Yunqiyaojue, and Wengzao's Yunqiyaojue. Conclusions: Ludanchen published Yunqibian, and explained that Haizichouyinmaochen, which is the eclipse's south latitude, becomes Nanzheng, and Southern government, which is the eclipse's north latitude, becomes Northern government. Lumaoxiu revealed that the Liuqidasitian, founded by Wangpuzhuang, his great grandfather on the mother's side, is in alignment with the theory of Dashitian, used by Liushozhen, Lidongyuan, Zhudanxi, and Zhangjingyue. The representative figure in the favorable view of Yunqi in the Qing period is Wuyang, that of those who compromised is Fengzhaozhang, and that of opposition is Zhangzhuo.

As a wireless handset deals with multiple application standards concurrently, RF transmitters and power amplifiers are required to be more power efficient and reconfigurable. In this paper, we review the recent advances in the design of the power amplifiers and transmitters. Then, the systematic design approaches to improve the performance with the digital baseband signal processing are introduced for the next generation mobile handset.

Temperature-sensitive yeast mutants were used to screen for cell cycle-related genes from Pleurotus eryngii genomic DNA. A mushroom genomic DNA library was established and each gene was screened for the ability to rescue seven Saccharomyces cerevisiae temperature-sensitive strains. Hundreds of yeast transformants were selected at restrictive temperatures over $30^{\circ}C$. Plasmids from the transformants that survived were isolated and transformed back into their host strains. The temperature sensitivity of the resulting transformants was tested from $30^{\circ}C$ to $37^{\circ}C$. Ten DNA fragments from P. eryngii were able to rescue yeast temperature-sensitive strains, and their DNA sequences were determined.

Modal analysis is an important and essential process in design of a high speed machining center. Generally, modal analysis of a built-in spindle system has not taken the work piece's shape and dimension into consideration. Since small and long work pieces influence greatly the natural frequency of the entire system, the high speed spindle system which continuously makes small machine parts by long work pieces for improvement of machining time has to consider the machining work pieces. Therefore frequency characteristics of the spindle system with long work pieces are studied in this paper.

This paper proposes a fuzzy linear programming based solution approach fur the long-term generation mix with multi-stages (years) considering air pollution constraints on $CO_2$ emissions, under uncertain circumstances as like as ambiguities of budget and reliability criterion level. This paper approaches to generation mix problem for 2030 year in Korea eventually. The proposed approach may give more flexible solution rather than too robust plan. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is demonstrated by applying it to solve the multi-years best generation mix problem on the Korea power system which contains nuclear, coal, LNG, oil and pumped-storage hydro plants.

Cytologic findings of 2 cases of metastatic leiomyosarcoma diagnosed by fine needle aspirtion cytology are reported. Case 1 is pleomorphic leiomyosarcoma which had metastsized to the liver from the stomach of a 54-year-old male patient. The cytologic features showed highly cellular aspirates with nuclear pleomorphism and interlacing pattern. Case 2 is low grade leiomyosarcoma that occurred in the uterus of a 43-year female patient and metastsized to both lungs. The aspirates were less cellular than that of case 1, and showed spindle cells with minimal pleomorphism, but ceil block revealed interlacing patterns of smooth muscle cells with occasional mitosis.

In this paper, we propose a novel image clustering method based on weighted sub-sampling to reduce clustering time and the number of clusters for target detection and tracking. Our proposed method first obtain sub-sampling image with specific weights which is the number of target pixels in sampling region. After performing clustering procedure, the cluster center position is properly obtained using weights of target pixels in the cluster. Therefore, our proposed method can not only reduce clustering time, but also obtain proper cluster center.

정보 보안 시스템에 대한 접근을 용이하게 하면서 보다 안전하게 하기위한 하나의 방법으로 생체인식 시스템이 사용되고 있다. 본논문에서는 생체인식 시스템 중 보편적으로 사용되는 융선 방향을 이용한 지문인식 시스템을 구성하고, 디지털 워터마킹 기법을 이용하여 지문에서 추출한 특징점 데이터를 영상에 워터마킹하여 지문 데이터를 보호하는 방법을 제안한다.
