문제 만들기를 적용한 문제해결수업이 수학적 창의성에 미치는 영향 (An Effect of Problem-solving Lessons with Problem-posing on Mathematical Creativity)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate how students' mathematical creativity changes through problem-solving instruction using problem-posing for elementary school students and to explore instructional methods to improve students' mathematical creativity in school curriculum. In this study, nonequivalent control group design was adopted, and the followings are main results. First, problem-solving lessons with problem-posing had a significant effect on students' mathematical creativity, and all three factors of mathematical creativity(fluency, flexibility, originality) were also significant. Second, the lessons showed meaningful results for all upper, middle, and lower groups of pupils according to the level of mathematical creativity. When analyzing the effects of sub-factors of mathematical creativity, there was no significant effect on fluency in the upper and middle groups. Based on the results, we suggest followings: First, there is a need for a systematic guidance plan that combines problem-solving and problem-posing, Second, a long-term lesson plan to help students cultivate novel mathematical problem-solving ability through insights. Third, research on teaching and learning methods that can improve mathematical creativity even for students with relatively high mathematical creativity is necessary. Lastly, various student-centered activities in math classes are important to enhance creativity.

입원환자가족의 가정문제에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Family Problem of the Hospitalized Patients)

  • This study was conducted to identify the family problems of the in-patients and to analize factors Influencing to the family problems. The subjects for this study were 277 family members those who were giving care for the adult patients during hospitalized in general wards at Seoul National University Hospital in Seoul. Data were collected through interviews with the questionnaire from September second to September twentieth in 1989. The instrument used for this study was the family problems scale which was developed by the researcher. Analysis of data was done by frequency, percent, mean, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson-Correlation Coefficients, and Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis. The results of this study are summarized as follows: 1. General characteristics of the care-giver in family. The average age of care-givers was 37.9 years, and the $26.4\%$ of monthly Income of family was 310,000-500,000 won group. The $93.5\%$ of family had taken the responsibility of caring for the patients instead of hiring the care-givers, and the $12.3\%$of the care-givers complained weakning of health status during care giving for the patients. The spouse took the largest part of responsibility of the care-giving services to the patient among the family members. 2. General characteristics of the patients. The average age of patient was 47 years, and the $80.9\%$ of patient was married status. The $39\%$ of patient was father in the position of family, and the $41.5\%$ had the responsibility to support their family before hospitalization. The average hospitalization period of patient was 24.3 day and the $50.9\%$ had admission experience. 3. The factors of family problems which were faced by the family were classified into six problems. The factors of family problems were ranked as follows; the first rank problem was related to care-giving for the patients. the second problem was resulted from the patients diseases, the theirds problem was related with adaptation to the hospital enviroments, the fourth problem was related to the arisen conflicts with medical team. the fifth problem was related to the change of family function. and the sixth problem was the financial problem. 4. The relationship between the family problems and the general charateristics of the care-givers showed that the nuclear type family was higher the family problems, that the admission period of patients became longer, and that the family who had the worse condition of health status of the care givers during care giving for the patients. From the above results, it was confirmed that the family care giving for patients was faced with some problems resulted from patient's illness, relation to the medical team, adaptation to the hospital enviroment, financial problem. change of family function, and care-giving for patients.

  • The purpose of this study is to present a method for determining the k most vital arcs in the maximum flow problem using a heuristic method. Generally, the problem which determine the k most vital arcs in maximum flow problem has known as NP-hard. Therefore, in this study we propose a method for determining all the k most vital arcs in maximum flow problem using a genetic algorithm. The proposed algorithm found all alternatives within shorter time than other heuristic methods. The method presented in this study can determine all the alternatives when there exists other alternative solutions.

전문대학 전기전공 신입생들의 자기조절학습능력과 문제해결력이 성취도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Self-Regulated Learning Abilities and Problem Solving Ability of College Electrical Information Control Freshmen on Academic Achievement)

  • The main purpose of this study was to examine the learning abilities of college electrical students, especially self-regulated learning abilities and problem solving ability. In addition, this study was to explore the effects of self-regulated learning abilities and problem solving ability of the college students on academic achievement. For this purpose, a total of 58 college freshmen was chosen to conduct a survey. The results of this study showed that self-regulated learning abilities and problem solving ability significantly influenced on the college engineering students' academic achievement. Based on these study results, the above variables investigated in this study should sufficiently considered in the design and development of the college engineering courses that enable students to become self-regulated learners and improve their academic achievement.

대학생들의 융합형 문제 해결 활동에서 문제발견 및 과학기술 분야 활용 양상 분석 (An Analysis on the Characteristics of Problem-Finding and the Aspects of Using Science and Technology of Undergraduate Students' Convergence Problem Solving Activity)

  • 지식과 정보의 양이 폭발적으로 증가하는 최근 사회의 변화에 의해 지식의 선택과 활용 능력을 신장해야 한다는 요구가 더 높아지고 있다. 이를 반영하기 위한 하나의 방안으로 문제기반학습은 구체적 맥락에서 문제를 해결하여 지식의 이해와 활용을 가능하게 하는 접근 방안임을 강조했다. 하지만, 주어진 문제를 해결하는 경험만으로는 본래의 목표를 달성하기 어렵다는 비판이 많은 것이 사실이다. 따라서 학생들이 주어진 상황으로부터 문제 해결을 위한 구체적 목표와 방법을 결정하는 경험을 쌓게 하여 문제를 발견하는 능력을 강조해야 한다. 본 연구는 대학생들이 과학기술 분야를 어떻게 활용하여 문제를 발견하는지 이해하고자 하였다. 이러한 선상에서 융합형 교수학습프로그램에 참여한 대학생들 중, 과학기술 분야를 활용한 네 명의 참여자들의 사례에서 문제발견 과정과 과학기술 분야의 활용 방식, 활용 이유를 조사하였다. 연구결과는 문제 제안서, 중간발표인 포스터, 최종 보고서와 함께 인터뷰 자료를 분석하여 도출하였다. 연구결과, 연구 참여자들은 초기의 비구조화된 문제로부터 구조화하여 결론을 구체적으로 도출할 수 있는 형태로 변화시켰다. 과학기술 분야는 문제의 구조화를 위한 구체적 사례로 활용되거나, 타 학문 분야와 연계하기 위한 분석 도구 혹은 배경 이론으로 활용되는 것을 확인하였다. 과학기술 분야가 도입된 이유는 사전 경험에 근거한 개인적 흥미와 불만족 해소를 위한 기존 학문 분야의 대안으로 설명할 수 있었다. 연구 결과를 토대로 문제기반학습에서 문제발견을 촉진할 수 있는 방안으로 직관적 사고와 논리적 사고의 통합적 관점, 메타인지적 조절을 제안하였다.

유사 문제 해결에서 구조적 유사성의 인식 (Insight into an Structural Similarity in Stage of Similar Mathematical Problem Solving Process)

  • It is the aim of this paper to study the target problem solving process in reference to the base problem. We observed closely how students solve the target problem in reference to the base problem. The students couldn't solve the target problem, although they succeed to find the base problem. This comes from failing to discover the structural similarity between the target problem and the base problem. Especially it is important to cognize the proper corresponding of primary components between the base problem and target problem. And there is sometimes a part component of the target problem equivalent to the base problem and the target problem can't be solved without the insight into this fact. Consequently, finding the base problem fail to reach solving the target problem without the insight into their structural similarity. We have to make efforts to have an insight into the structural similarity between the target problem and the base problem to solve the target problem.

  • An analytical methodology for solving antiplane problem of anisotropic materials is proposed and discussed in detail in this study. The material considered in this study possesses a symmetry plane at z=0. The relationship between the problems of anisotropic materials and the corresponding isotropic problems are established by Ma (1996) on the basis of the general solutions for the shear stresses and displacement in both the polar and Cartesian coordinate systems. This implies that any solution of an anisotropic problem can be obtained by solving a corresponding isotropic problem. In this study some examples and numerical results are presented as an explanation of how the complicated anisotropic problem could be solved by the associated simpler isotropic problem.

부모의 온정적 양육행동과 또래 상호작용이 유아의 외현화 문제행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Parenting Behavior and Peer Interaction on Preschoolers' Externalizing Problem Behaviors)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of parenting behavior and peer interaction on externalizing problem behaviors of preschoolers. The data of 953 49~55 month old preschoolers and their parents were extracted from the Korean Children Panel Survey of Child-Care Policy Research Institute(2012). This study was conducted with Structural Equation Modeling(SEM). The results of this study were as follows. First, parenting behavior had a direct influence on externalizing problem behaviors of preschoolers. Second, parenting behavior had a direct influence on preschoolers' peer interaction. Third, preschoolers' peer interaction had a direct influence on externalizing problem behaviors of preschoolers. Fourth, preschoolers' peer interaction had mediating effects on the relationship between parenting behavior and externalizing problem behaviors of preschoolers.

  • For an undirected graph G=(V, E), the Rural Postman Problem (RPP) is a problem that finds a minimum cost tour that must pass edges in E'($\subseteq$ E) at least once. RPP, such as Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP), is known as an NP. Complete problem. In the previous study of RPP, he structure of the chromosome is constructed by E' and the direction of the edge. Hence, the larger the size of IE' I is, the larger the size of the chromosome and the size of the solution space are. In this paper, we transform the RPP into a Hamiltonian graph and use a genetic algorithm to solve the transformed problem using restructured chromosomes. In the simulations, we analyze our method and the previous study. From the simulation results, it is found that the results of the proposed method is better than those of the previous method and the proposed method also obtains the near optimal solution in earlier generations than the previous study.

  • This paper describe an approximation method for solving the minimum makespan problem of job shop scheduling with fuzzy processing time. We consider the multi-part production scheduling problem in a job shop scheduling. The job shop scheduling problem is a complex system and a NP-hard problem. The problem is more complex if the processing time is imprecision. The Fuzzy set theory can be useful in modeling and solving scheduling problems with uncertain processing times. Lee-Li fuzzy number comparison method will be used to compare processing times that evaluated under fuzziness. This study propose heuristic algorithm solving the job shop scheduling problem under fuzzy environment. In This study the proposed algorithm is designed to treat opinions of experts, also can be used to solve a job shop environment under the existence of alternate operations. On the basis of the proposed method, an example is presented.
