공학계열 대학 졸업자의 첫 일자리 취업성과 결정요인 탐색 (Exploring the Determinants of First Job Employment Outcomes of Engineering College Graduates)

  • This study explored the determinants of first job employment outcomes(employment status, salary, company size) of engineering college graduates using 2018 Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey(GOMS) data. Independent variables were used as variables for personal characteristics, academic background, and job preparation efforts. The priorities and interactions between the factors determining employment outcomes were identified using the decision tree analysis. The research results are as follows. First, it was found that the most important factor in determining the 'first job employment status' was 'exam preparation(public and private company, test for teacher recruitment)' among individual's job preparation efforts. Second, the most important factor in determining 'first job salary' was 'gender' among individual characteristics. Third, the most important factor in determining the 'first company size' was the experience of 'corporate job aptitude study' among individual's job preparation efforts. Based on the results of the analysis, suggestions for establishing customized career development strategies for engineering college students were presented.

대학교육품질이 반도체분야 졸업생의 업무성과에 미치는 영향 (On the Effect of the Quality of University Education of Semiconductor on Graduate's Job Performance)

  • 본 연구는 반도체분야 대학졸업생의 업무성과에 영향을 미치는 대학교육의 품질요인(교수, 학생들의 학습태도, 교육프로그램, 교육환경 등)에 관한 인과관계를 살펴보는 데 초점을 맞추고 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 최근 반도체분야의 대학교육을 마치고 관련분야에서 종사하고 있는 5년 미만의 졸업생들을 연구대상으로 설정하였다. 총 287명이 분석에 활용되었다. 본 연구에서는 구조화방정식을 이용하여 이들 간의 가설관계를 검증하는 것으로 하였다. 분석결과, 졸업생의 업무성과에는 '교수' 변수보다는 '졸업 후 본인 스스로의 지식습득노력' 변수와 더 높은 정(+)의 관계가 존재하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 특히 졸업생의 업무성과에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 대학교육 품질요인으로는 '학문을 향한 학습 태도'인 것으로 나타났다.

  • 본 논문은 대졸자의 취업성과에 있어 취업준비 목적의 자발적 졸업연기가 미치는 영향을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 위 연구 목적을 위해, 본 연구는 한국고용정보원의 '2015년 대졸자직업이동경로조사(2014GOMS)' 자료를 활용하여 취업준비 목적의 자발적 졸업연기가 정규학기 졸업과 비교해 취업여부와 첫 일자리 임금수준에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 로지스틱 회귀분석과 다중회귀분석방법을 사용하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 취업준비 목적의 자발적 졸업연기는 정규학기 졸업에 비해 취업확률에 유의미한 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 취업준비 목적의 자발적 졸업연기는 정규학기 졸업에 비해 첫 일자리의 임금수준이 높을 가능성이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 다음과 같은 시사점을 논의하고자 한다. 첫째, 기업은 투명한 채용기준을 제시하여 대학생들이 필요한 역량계발에 몰두할 수 있도록 돕고, 대학은 학생들이 재학 중 단기 일 경험을 할 수 있는 다양한 프로그램을 제시하여야 하며, 정부는 이중노동시장 구조를 완화하고 불평등을 해소하여 청년층의 첫 일자리 선택에 대한 불안감을 줄일 수 있도록 제도와 정책을 보완해야 할 필요가 있음을 시사한다.

  • 본 연구에서는 국내외의 어려운 경제상황과 급격하게 변화하는 교육환경에서 공대생들의 취업경쟁력 강화를 위하여 공학교육에 대한 만족도 및 개선방향에 대하여 조사하고 그 결과를 분석하였다. 본 설문 조사는 기계, 토목, 컴퓨터 전공 재학생, 졸업생, 기업체 등 취업과 관련된 모든 사람들을 대상으로 하였으며 중소기업을 대상으로 구직 활동을 하는 수도권 대학의 현황을 보여준다는 특징이 있다. 설문조사 결과 학생들은 전문지식과 기술의 교육을 가장 중요하게 생각하고 있는 반면에 기업체에서는 기술의 응용력, 자료의 분석 능력, 인성과 성실성 등 학생의 기본 소양 육성을 중요시 하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 공대 재학생, 졸업생 및 기업체의 공학교육 만족도와 인식을 통한 교과과정 등 교육 환경 개선으로 교육 내실화 실현이 취업경쟁력 및 학교 이미지 제고를 꾀할 수 있을 것으로 기대할 수 있다.

이공계 졸업생의 좋은 대학에 대한 주관적 인식 유형 분석 (Analysis of Subjectivity on Good Universities of Science and Engineering Graduates)

  • 학생 중심을 표방하는 대학이 늘고 있으나, 학생들이 생각하는 좋은 대학이 어떠한 모습인지는 분명하지 않다. 이 연구는 좋은 대학의 여러 특성 중 학생에 따라 어떤 것을 중요하게 생각하는지 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 인간의 주관적 인식에 대한 연구방법인 Q 방법론을 활용하여, 이공계열 졸업생의 좋은 대학에 대한 인식을 유형화하고, 각 유형별로 학생들의 교육 경험의 차이를 살펴보았다. Q 방법론의 연구절차에 따라서 선행 연구와 대학의 질 관리 기준에 기초하여 29개의 진술문을 개발하고, 사회진출에 성공한 이공계열 졸업생 16명에게 진술문을 Q 표본 배열표에 맞게 분류하도록 하였다. 진술문의 선호도에 따라 참여자들은 세 유형으로 분류되었다. 학생 경험 중심형인 제1유형은 학생이 교내외 다양한 활동과 경험에 참여하도록 장려하고 지원하는 대학을 좋은 대학이라 인식했다. 대학 성과 중심형인 제2유형은 취업률, 연구성과, 입학 성적과 같은 지표를 보고 좋은 대학을 판단했다. 교육 활동 중심형인 제3유형은 대학을 하나의 공동체로 인식하며 교수와 학습의 질을 중요하게 여겼다. 이 연구는 학생의 입장에서 좋은 대학에 대한 상대적인 인식 차이를 분석했다는 점에 의미가 있다. 마지막으로 연구 결과를 기반으로 대학의 질 관리와 개선을 위한 제언을 추가하였다.

실업계 고등학교 섬유디자인 교육에 대한 실태조사 연구 - 인천여자공예고등학교 섬유공예과 사례분석을 중심으로 - (Case Analysis of Textile Design Education at Korean Technical High Schools Case Analysis of Inchon Gril's Polytechnic High School)

  • This study was designed to investigate actual conditions of textile design education at technical high school in Korea, and to present possible solutions for improving its effectiveness. Inchon Girl's Polytechnic high School was selected as sample of case study because it was the only school which has textile design major. Survey was done through questionnaire and telephone interview. 100 students, 25 graduates, 8 teachers, and 8 managers of textile industry were involved in survey. The data were analyzed by using frequency, t-test, correlation. Statistical analysis resulted in the following suggestions to be considered for maximizing the effectiveness of the textile design education at technical high schools: First, the curriculum should be flexibly reorganized to come up with trends in the market and demands from industry, and also to stimulate and motivate students into the biggest achievements possible. Second, more weight should be given to practical design subjects which have proved to be preferred by students and industry by reducing class hours for non-design subjects or theoretical subjects. Third, equipments and facilities for practical exercise should be open to students anytime needed so that students can improve their practical skills without any restrictions. Fourth, new teachers having majored in textile design at the university should be employed and the existing teachers should be periodically re-educated to keep abreast with new knowledges and technology. Fifth, The solidarity and the connection between schools and companies should be reinforced, not only to provide graduates with more chances to get a job, but also to make education at schools refreshed and updated.

충북지역 대학의 취업지원 활동에 대한 대학 취업담당자와 대학생들 간의 인식의 차이 (A Study on the Perception Level Differences Between Staffs and Students on University Employment Supporting Activities in Choong-buk Province, Korea)

  • 경체 침체와 고용 없는 성장 산업으로 인해 대학생의 실업 문제가 점차 사회문제로 부각되고 있다. 특히 대학생의 취업률 문제가 대학의 평가로 이어질 정도로 정부가 관심을 갖고 대학생 취업률을 올리고자 노력하고 있다. 따라서 대학의 취업 정책은 졸업자의 취업지원을 위해 다양한 프로그램을 준비하여 대학생 취업을 지원하고 있다. 그러나 대학의 취업지원 활동의 의도, 추진 성과, 준비성 등과 대학생이 인지하는 만족도, 효용성 등 부문에서 일부 차이를 보이고 있다. 이는 활동의 효과에도 문제가 있지만 프로그램 추진의 효율성도 떨어져 예산 낭비로 이어지고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 대학 취업 지원활동의 효율성과 효과성을 높이기 위해 대학의 지원활동에 대한 대학생의 인지도, 활용도, 만족도 등을 분석하여 대학의 취업 지원 프로그램 수정 제안과 함께 관련 주체들의 바람직한 태도와 정책을 제시하고 있다.

패션 CS(Costumer Service) 교과목 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of a Fashion CS Course)

  • As an effort to improve the employment of graduates from fashion.related departments, this study purposed to develop a course that may contribute to a broader range of employment, focusing on CS, which has been overlooked by fashion.related departments, among various job categories in the fashion industry. In order to determine the necessity of the new course, we surveyed job categories that enrolled students wanted to have after graduation and graduates'opinions on and responses to the opening of the new course. In addition, for the efficient design of the course, this study extracted the practically applicable goals and contents of the course from basic theories in previous CS .related studies in the area of fashion studies and from interviews with field workers in related businesses. Through these multi.sided approaches, this study proposed a fashion CS course as a major applied subject with an hours' theory and two hours' practice classes, and suggested a weekly teaching plan of 15 weeks. This study is meaningful in that it expanded the scope and variety of employment for students of fashion.related departments, and developed a course that can be immediately applicable to any CS.related jobs. The results of this study are expected to expand work areas for graduates from fashion.related departments in the fashion industry.

간호대학 졸업예정자의 임상실습 만족도 영향요인 (Factors Affecting Satisfaction of Clinical Practice among Prospective Graduates in Nursing Colleges)

  • Purpose: This study was designed in order to explore the factors affecting the satisfaction of clinical practice among prospective graduates in nursing colleges and attempt to provide the base data for the quality improvement of clinical practice education. Methods: A total of 205 perspective graduates in nursing who have completed the clinical practice at four colleges of nursing located in Gyeonggi-Do and Chungcheongnam-Do participated in the study. Using structured questionnaires, the data was collected between October 10th, 2016 and November 9th, 2016. Results: The average scores for the image of nurses ($3.86{\pm}0.66$), satisfaction of major ($3.85{\pm}0.55$), self-efficacy ($3.44{\pm}0.51$), nursing professionalism ($3.70{\pm}0.47$), and satisfaction of clinical practice ($3.32{\pm}0.56$) were calculated. The satisfaction of clinical practice was in significant statistical correlation with the image of nurses (r=.59, p<.001), major satisfaction (r=.47, p<.001), self-efficacy (r=.21, p<.001), and professional identity (r=.46, p<.001). The significant predictors of the satisfaction of clinical practice included the image of nurses (${\beta}=.48$, p<.001) and nursing professionalism (${\beta}=.19$, p=.008). The regression model resulted in 36.0% satisfaction of clinical practice. Conclusion: Active development and implementation of programs for establishing positive images of nurses and nursing professionalism are needed in order to improve the satisfaction of clinical practice for nursing students.

농촌주민의 흡연 및 음주 실태와 이에 영향을 미치는 요인분석 (An Analysis of Determinants of Smoking and Drinking of Community people in Rural area)

  • The study was designed. to analyse the factors effecting to smoking and drinking of community people in rural area. The study has been surveyed through interviews by trained college students for 1,846 residents who live in rural area(Eup or Myun office is located)for 20days(from 3rd. to 22M. in August, 1988) The summary and conclusions are as follows. 1. The number of answers on the questionaires was 1846. And the percent of man was 55.7 %(woman 44.3 %). Among age group 20-29 years group with 30.4 % was larger than any other group. Anaverage age of answers was 38.6 years. 2.In the period of residence, 21.5 % of the residents lived within 5 years(This group was larger than any other group). In occupations, workers in agriculture and fishing was more than other job occupants. In education, the percent of high school graduates was 44.0 %(higher than any other group) 3.The smoking rate of rural residents was 41.8 %and man's smoking rate was 76.0 % (woman's smoking rate was 7.6 %). These rates were higher than the rates in 1985 (The smoking rate of nation was 32.0 %). First of all, woman's smoking rate increased rapidly 4.As for smoking amount, in male 52.8% of smokers smoked a cigarette case (20 cigarettes) in a day, and 16.9 % of smokers smoked more than one cigarette case. In female 42.5 % of woman smokers smoked a half case in a day and the rate of non-smokers diminished to 77.8 % 5.The rate of non-smokers in 21-29 years group was higher than any other group and a smoking rate increased as an age increased. However, a smoking amount decreased as an age increased. This suggests that people are more concerning about their health as their ages increase.. 6.The smoking rate of college graduates was 58.8 %(higher than any other group) and in a smoking amount 36.4 % of college graduates, 29.8 % of high school graduates smoked more than a cigarette case in a day. This shows that people in a higher education group smoke more than those in other groups. 7.As for non-smoking rate, students, service job workers, company employees, and teachers was 54.1%, 43.4%. 40.1% and 39.5%. respectively. As for smoking rate, workers in agriculture and fishing was the highest level of all job employees. Public officers smoked less than the workers in agriculture and the smoking rate of teachers was less than that of public officers. with regard to smoking amount. above one cigarette case in a day was 39.9 % in public officers, 39.2 % workers in agriculture and fishing, 37.9 % in businessmen, 34.2 % in teachers, 31.9 % in service job employees and 31.6 % in a company employees. 8.The variables which had an effect on smoking were sex (B=.1701), job(B=.1688), education(B=.1671), age(B=.1125). These variables were significant in P<0.05 statistically. Explanatory variance level was 19% 9.The drinking rate of community residents was 61.8% and man's drinking rate was 81.7%(woman's drinking rate was 38.9%). As drinking rate 18.0%(the highest rate) of man drinkers drank 3 bottles of beer in a general drinking and 12.1% of them drank more than 10 bottles. 12.1% (the highest rate)of woman drinkers drank 2 cups of beer. The rising rate of woman's drinking of alcohol was remarkable. 10.Each non-drinking rate of age groups was 27.6% (in 20-30 years group), 28.0% (in 30-39 years group), 28.9%(in 40-49 years group) and 32,6%(in 50-59 years group), 10,7%(the highest rate) of 20-29 and 30-39 years groups drank above 3 bottles. 7.5% of 20-29 years group and 7.7% of 30-39 years group drank above 10 bottles. In 40-49 years group, 14.4 % of them drank a bottle and 8.1% of them drank above 10 bottles. In 50-59years group, 14,2% of them drank 2 bottles and 5.3 % of them drank above 10 bottles. This shows that a drinking rate decresed as an age increased. 11.Non-drinking rate was higher as an education level was lower. Each non-drinking rate of non-educated group, elementary school group, middle school group and high school group was 41.0 % of high school graduates and 14.5 % of college graduates drank 3 bottles of beer. 9.7 %(the highest rate) of college graduates drank above 10 bottles, in general drinking. 12.Each non-drinking rate of businessmen, farmers, service job workers, and students was 31.3%, 28.2%, 26.8% and 25.9%. However, Each drinking rate of public officers, company employees and teachers was 73.3 %, 72.2 % and 68.4 %. This tells us that the drinking rate of mental workers is higher than that of physical workers. 14.9 % of farmers and 14.4 % of public officers drank 3 bottles at a time. 10.5 % of teachers and 9.9 % of public officers drank above 10 bottles. 13.The variables which affect on drinking were sex(B=.1545), education(B=.1476), job(B=.1064), and age(B=.1052). These variables were significant in the level of 0.05 % and explanatory variance level was 18 %. 14.Government have to educate people and demonstrate the health hazards caused by smoking and over-drinking. Especially, No-smoking campaign for woman and education not to over drink for professional job workers are necessary.
