루이스 설리번은 "형태는 기능을 따른다"라고 주장했다. 기능이라는 것은 사용자가 제품이나 공간을 사용함에 있어서 가장 원초적으로 필요한 요소 중에 하나이며, 공간 및 건축 분야에서의 "기능"은 그것의 형태를 결정하는 가장 중요한 요소의 의미를 가지고 있다. 이렇게 "기능주의"의 관점에서 기능주의가 추구하는 중요한 요소들이 어떻게 그것의 형태와 관계를 갖는 지를 확인하기 위해서 토요 이토의 작품을 선정하였다. 1970년 초반에서 현재까지 진행된 그의 작품 중에서 공간 및 건축의 구조, 재질 및 공간의 형식을 쉽게 파악할 수 있도록 소규모의 주거 공간 프로젝트를 선정하여 분석하였다. 공간 및 건축의 구조와 표피를 재질의 특성으로 분류하고 공간의 개방성의 강도에 따른 분류를 진행하였다. 결과적으로 기능을 추구하는 공간 및 건축은 기능이라는 요소를 부각하기 위해서 전체적인 장식을 배제하고 그 기능의 효율성을 최대한으로 추구할 수 있는 방법을 사용하였다. 이토 토요의 소규모 주거 공간에서 발견되는 특징은 형태의 정형화 및 단순화, 공간의 개방성, 각 요소의 다목적성 활용성으로 정의할 수 있다.

This paper focuses on solving co-channel interference (CCI) issues arising in the open subscriber group (OSG) mode of heterogeneous networks (HetNets). Considering a general framework consisting of arbitrary number of picocells within a macro cell, where the inter-user interference (IUI) is the main CCI to macro user equipments (UEs), while the the inter-cell interference (ICI) is the major CCI to pico UEs. In this paper, three IA based transceiver design schemes are proposed. For macro cell, we uniformly use block diagonalization (BD) scheme to eliminate the IUI. And for picocells, three IA schemes are proposed to mitigate the ICI. The first scheme, named as zero forcing IA (ZF-IA) scheme, aligns the inter picocell interference onto an arbitrary sub-space of the cross-tier interference using ZF scheme. Considering the channel state information (CSI) of the desired channel of pico UEs, the second scheme, named as optimal desired sub-channel selected IA (ODC-IA) scheme, aligns the inter picocell interference onto a certain sub-space of the cross-tier interference, which guarantees the largest channel gain of the desired signal of pico UEs. The third IA scheme, named as maximum cross-tier interference selected IA (MI-IA) scheme, is designed for the system with less receive antennas. The inter picocell interference is aligned onto the space of the strongest cross-tier interference and only the interference on this space is nullified. The complexity analysis and simulations show that the proposed transceiver design schemes outperform the existing IA schemes in the OSG mode of HetNets, and the MI-IA scheme reduces the requirement of the receive antennas number with lower complexity.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the expanded characteristics that can be found in the fashion designs of JUUN. J. For the study, the concept and discourse related to theme expansion have been theoretically reviewed, and various types of expansive characteristics were derived by reviewing prior research related to the keyword expanded characteristics. Photo data required for the analysis were collected through the official website of JUUN. J and Vogue, a worldwide fashion magazine. The scope of the survey was limited to 983 photographs collected from 28 collections from 2009 S/S through 2022 F/W. The results are as follows. First, the expansion of the human body, which is achieved by adding an empty space between the body and the clothing or using various materials to express the volume of the body, is expressed through two different forms in the designs of JUUN. J. Second, the expansion of time expresses the combination of different timelines, the meeting of the past and present or awe toward the unpredictable future. Third, the expansion of style, which is expressed by reinterpreting existing costumes or styles, is a type of expansion' that appears individually in the fashion designs of JUUN J. Such expansion of style can be found in the military inspired designs. Fourth, the expansion of space, which diversifies our perception of space by re-recognizing the concept of space, was implemented into the works and designs of JUUN. J through the convergence of different cultural aspects. Fifth, the expansion of gender, which is expressed through the continuous exploration of the borders of gender and the delivery of social messages, has appeared in the works of JUUN J. in the form of genderless design.

In this paper weak and strong convergence theorems of modified Noor iterations to fixed points for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in the intermediate sense in Banach spaces are established. In one theorem where we establish strong convergence we assume an additional property of the operator whereas in another theorem where we establish weak convergence assume an additional property of the space.

We show a series of improved subseries convergence results, e.g., in a sequentially complete locally convex space X every weakly $c_0$-Cauchy series on X must be $c_0$-convergent. Thus, if X contains no copy of $c_0$, then every weakly $c_0$-Cauchy series on X must be subseries convergent.

In this paper, we introduce the concept of the fibrewise convergence space as a generalization of both the notion of fibrewise topology and that of convergence. Furthermore we observe the adjoint ness and Galois correspondence between the category of fibrewise topological spaces and the category of fibrewise convergence spaces. Finally we investigate the limit and colimit structures in these categories.

In this paper, we prove strong convergence theorems of Halpern iteration for relatively asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in the framework of Banach spaces. Our results extend and improve the recent ones announced by [C. Martinez-Yanes, H. K. Xu, Strong convergence of the CQ method for fixed point iteration processes, Nonlinear Anal. 64 (2006), 2400-2411], [X. Qin, Y. Su, Strong convergence theorem for relatively nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space, Nonlinear Anal. 67 (2007), 1958-1965] and many others.

In the present paper, some general convergence principles are established in metric spaces and then theses principles are applied to the convergence of the iterative sequences for approximating fixed points of certain classes of mappings. By virtue of our principles, most of the latest results obtained by several authors can be deduced easily.

Let X and Y be topological vector spaces. For a sequence {$T_j$} of bounded operators from X into Y the $c_0$-multiplier convergence of ${\sum}T_j$ is an invariant on topologies which are stronger (need not strictly) than the topology of pointwise convergence on X but are weaker (need not strictly) than the topology of uniform convergence on bounded subsets of X.

We present a new convergence analysis of popular Broyden's method in the Banach/Hilbert space setting which is applicable to non-smooth operators. Moreover, we do not assume a priori solvability of the equation under consideration. Nevertheless, without these simplifying assumptions our convergence theorem implies existence of a solution and superlinear convergence of Broyden's iterations. To demonstrate practical merits of Broyden's method, we use it for numerical solution of three nontrivial infinite-dimensional problems.
