유기농 셀프수확 프로그램 개발 연구 (A Study on the Program Development for Organic Farming with the Concept of Self-harvest)

  • The theme-type self-harvest concept proposed in this research will be applied as a relevant reference in planning and realizing urban-rural exchange facilities at the village level. The aim of this paper is to describe the concept, to characterize the self-harvesters and organic farmers involved, to illustrate the ecological, economic and social interaction and the possible constraints of the concept. What is more important, however, is to develop programs for consultants, organic farmers and green-minded consumers, to vitalize direct transaction. The proponents of self-harvest are convinced that this concept leads to ecological, economic and social benefits, which will help to design a sustainable food supply system for small, medium and large cities.

여고생의 자아개념에 따른 의복구매행동 특성 (A Study on Clothing Buying Pattern of Korean High School Girls by their Self-concept)

  • The objectives of the present study were to investigate the relationship between self-concept and clothing buying pattern in accordence with their self-concept. The method employed to conduct this study was normative-descriptive survey using questionnaires. Subjects were 438 high school girls in Seoul and the survery was implemented from the begining of May 1998 to the end of June 1998. The questionnaires were completed by students during class. Mean Standard Deviation Chi-Squeare and t-test were employed to analize the data gathered. The results are summarzed as follows: (1) The group who has the higher score in total positive self, self identity self satisfacton self behavior physcial self moral ethical self personal self and family self cares more about economical efficiency of clothing than the group who has the lower score. (2) The group who has the higher score in total positive self, self satisfaction personal self and family self attachs greater importance to the practical use of clothing than those who scored lower with in said categories of self concept. (3) The group who has the higher total positive self score cares originality more than the group who has the lower score when they purchase outdoor garment. (4) The group who has the lower social self score cares modesty and ostentation more than the group who scored higher in social self. (5) The group who has the higher score in positive self behavior personal self and family self cares about convenence in care and maintenance of the clothing than the group has the lower score. (6) Friends buying and use experiences of herself and the observation of other's attire are the main source of fashion information for the present Korean high school girls. The group who has the higher score in total positive self personal self family self, self identity self satisfactio self behavior used their own experiences more often as a source of fashion information than those who scored lower with in said categories of self concept. The group who has the higher score of total positive self personal self family self, self identity self satisfaction self behavior uses family members more often as a source of fashion information than those who scored lower with in said categories of self concept. The group who has the higher score in self identity and self behavior uses store displays more often than the group who scored lower. (7) Bonded processing goods stores or fancy goods shops(haberdashery) located in trendy shopping district discount stores and outlet stores of the famous manufactures are main places where Korean high school girls buy their outdoor garments. The group who has the higher score in social self, self identity and personal self uses department stores more often and rerely shops at bonded processing goods stores of fancy goods shops located in thendy shopping district compared to those who scored lower with in said categories of self concept.

유아, 또래 및 교사 보고에 의한 유아기 또래 집단 거부의 비교 (Analysis of Cross-Informant Data for Peer Group Rejection among Preschoolers)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the correlation between self-report, peer nomination, and teacherreport of peer group rejection among preschool children. Moreover, we examined the influence of self-concept, language skills, social behaviors, and hyperactivity on peer group rejection. The participants were 297 4 and 5 year children recruited from preschools and day care centers. Teacher completed children’s social behaviors and children were interviewed to assess their self-concept and language skills. The results indicated that teacher-report was significantly correlated with self-report and peer nomination. According to informants, the associations between peer rejection and children's characteristics were different.

초등학생의 자아개념 유형별 인터넷 아이템 구매행동 및 자기평가 (Children's Self-Concept Typology and its Effect on Internet Item Purchase Behavior and Self-Evaluation)

  • The purpose of the study was to examine the internet purchase behavior of items and self-assessment according to self-concept of elementary school students. The data were collected from 716 elementary school students by a self-administered questionnaire. Frequencies and means, Cronbach's Alpha, factor analysis, t-test, Pearson's correlation analysis, cross-tabulation analysis, cluster Analysis were conducted by SPSSWIN 12.0. The results from this study were as follows; First, from self-concept measurements, 4 factors(affective, social, schooling, Family self-concept) were extracted through factor analysis. Second, the subjects were classified into 3 clusters as self-concept types(high self-concept, middle self-concept, low self-concept) through cluster analysis. Third, the significant variables affecting internet purchase behaviors of items included grade, allowance, rank in class, the number of hours on the internet. As the self-concept gets higher, the frequence of the impulsive purchase and imitation purchases gets lower. In the contrary, as the self-concept gets higher, the self-assessment on the impulse purchases and imitation purchases also gets higher. In combination, these results suggest that irrational purchase behaviors were protected by positive self-concept, therefore it is important that children have positive a self-concept.

중학생의 학교적응 관련요인의 인과적 구조분석 (Causal Relationships between School Adjustment of Middle School Students and Related Variables)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the causal relationship of familial factors (parental acceptance, autonomy, and family satisfaction), social support (teacher's support and friend's support), school achievement, self-concept, and school adjustment. Based on preceding research, this study established a path model of school adjustment and its related variables. Methods: Two thousand six hundred and twenty nine middle school students participated in this study. Data were collected by a visit-survey with an organized questionnaire and was analyzed by the SPSS and AMOS programs. Results: Self-concept showed a significantly direct influence to school adjustment while both family satisfaction and school achievement directly and indirectly influenced school adjustment. Parental acceptance, autonomy, and social support indirectly influenced school adjustment. Conclusion: These results imply that first, family satisfaction, and self-concept are essential to solve the problems of school adjustment. Especially friend's support, teacher's support and school achievement should help improve the self-concept and school adjustment. Second, a variety of programs are available for schools to employ in an effort to provide interventions for students who demonstrate school maladjustment. Finally, it is necessary for family, school and society members to comprehensively cooperate to improve school adjustment.

천연아로마가 중학생의 자아개념에 미치는 효과 (The Study of the Effects of Natural Aroma Essential Oil on Self-concept in Middle School Students)

  • Purpose. The aim of this study was to provide Aromatherapist with analysis of the effect of natural aroma essential oil on middle school students' self-concept. Methods. In total, 20 students were recruited to answer a self-administered questionnaire in pre and post. The questionnaire was composed of questions about general self-concept, class self-concept, achievement self-concept, ability self-concept, social self-concept, family self-concept, emotional self-concept, physical self-concept. The natural aroma essential oil program was operational in a 90-minute once a week for ten weeks. Results. As a result, the score of emotional self-concept(t=-2.60, p<.05) is higher than pre the experiment post experiment. Conclusions. This study is to get a basic data of natural aroma should be applied to improve self-concept of middle school students.

치위생과 학생의 전문직 자아개념과 임상실습 만족도와의 관계 연구 (A study on the professional self-concept of dental hygiene students and their satisfaction level with clinical practice)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the professional self-concept of dental hygiene students, their satisfaction level with clinical practice and the correlation of the two factors. The subjects in this study were 129 dental hygiene seniors at a college located in the city of J. The selected students had been engaged in a 16-week clinical practice. The findings of the study were as follows: 1. The dental hygiene students investigated got a mean of 3.34 out of possible five points on professional self-concept. As for the subfactors of professional self-concept, they got 3.75, 3.38 and 2.87 respectively on communication, professional work handling and satisfaction level. 2. They got a mean of 3.29 out of possible five points on satisfaction level with clinical practice. As to the subfactors of the satisfaction level, they gave 3.60, 3.50, 3.46, 3.04 and 2.83 to environments for practice, the content of practice, supervision, the length of practice and evaluation respectively. 3. In regard to the relationship of general characteristics to professional self-concept, satisfaction level with the major and social perception of dental hygienist made significant differences to professional self-concept. 4. As for connections between the general characteristics and satisfaction level with clinical practice, satisfaction with clinical practice was significantly different according to satisfaction with the major, satisfaction with the amount of practice and satisfaction with social perception of dental hygienist. 5. There was a significantly positive correlation between professional self-concept and satisfaction level with clinical practice(r=.383, p=.001). In conclusion, how much dental hygienists who are trained to be a dental hygienist are gratified with clinical practice is one of integral factors to affect their development of professional self-concept. Therefore prolonged research efforts should be directed into determining in which way clinical practice should be implemented to develop the professional self-concept of would-be dental hygienists and how to raise their satisfaction with clinical practice.

영재교육기관별 초등과학영재와 일반학생의 과흥분성과 사회적 자아개념 비교 (A Comparison of Overexcitability and Social Self-Concept between the Scientifically Gifted and Non-Gifted Elementary Students)

  • 다양한 형태의 자극에 대해 더 많이 더 오래 그리고 더 강렬하게 반응하는 내적 경향으로서의 민감성을 의미하는 과흥분성과 한 개인이 사회생활, 특히 학교생활에서 어떠한 방법으로 어떻게 행동할 것인가를 알아보기 위한 개념인 사회적 자아개념은 과학영재의 매우 중요한 정의적 특성이라고 할 수 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 영재교육기관별 초등과학영재와 일반학생의 과흥분성과 사회적 자아개념을 비교하여 어떤 특성이 있는가를 알아보고자 하였다. 이 연구를 위해 초등학교 5, 6학년의 영재교육원 및 영재학급 학생 135명과 일반학생 91명을 대상으로 과흥분성 검사와 사회적 자아개념 검사를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 과흥분성의 5개 하위 영역에서 일반학생보다 초등과학영재의 모든 점수가 통계적으로 유의하게 높았다. 둘째, 영재교육기관별로는 대학부설영재교육원 및 지역공동영재학급의 초등과학영재의 과흥분성이 단위학교 영재학생 및 일반학생에 비하여 통계적으로 유의하게 높았고, 단위학교영재학급은 일반학생과 차이가 없었다. 셋째, 사회적 자아개념에서는 대학부설영재교육원 과학영재가 단위학교영재학급의 과학영재 및 일반학생보다 통계적으로 유의하게 높은 점수를 나타내었다. 연구 결과를 토대로 초등과학영재의 지도에서 영재교사가 유념해야 할 시사점과 영재교사의 연수 등에서 고려해야 할 점 등을 논의하였다.

보육기관에서의 놀이치료가 유아의 문제 행동, 자아지각, 사회적 상호작용 및 놀이치료 과정에서 유아의 반응 변화에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Childcare Center Based Play Therapy on Infant's Problem Behaviors, Self-Concept, Social Interaction and Infant's Response Changes during Play Therapy)

  • The study was performed at a childcare center based play therapy to help ameliorate the problems of infants in the borderline, self-concept, social interaction, infant's response changes observed during play therapy. The subjects of this study consisted of twenty eight infants between the ages of 4 to 5 years who exhibited behavior problems. All subjects were located in the Seoul. The play therapists were sent to the child care center, and conducted 16 sessions of play therapy to infants exhibiting problem behaviors. In summary, the results indicated the following. First, childcare center based play therapy was effective in improving infants' behavior problems in the borderline areas outlined above. Second, childcare center based play therapy had a positive effect on the self-concept of infants. Third, childcare center based play therapy had a positive effect on the social interaction among the infants. Finally, there was significant difference in the responses of infants during childcare center based play therapy.

진행성 근이영양증 청소년이 자아개념과 기능적 독립성에 대한 종단적 연구 (A Longitudinal Study of Self-Concept and Functional Independence in Adolescents with Progressive Muscular Dystrophy)

  • A longitudinal study of self-concept and functional independence in 22 adolescents with progressive muscular dystrophy is reported. 30 adolescents with progressive muscular dystrophy completed Korean Self-Concept Scale, Modified Barthel Index, and a questionnaire examining demographic and medical factors. Functional independence was measured by Modified Barthel Index. Two years later, 22 of the 30 adolescents with progressive muscular dystrophy completed same Korean Self-Concept Scale and Modified Barthel Index. Adolescents with progressive muscular dystrophy were not changed on self -concept scores between test and retest. At retest adolescents with progressive muscular dystrophy scored significantly lower than at test on Modified Barthel Index. Compared to scale norms, subjects had significantly lower Total Self, Physical Self, Social Self, Self Satisfaction, Self Behavior scores. Age, years of education, and functional independence were significantly related self-concept. Functional independence was significantly related years of education.
