The Effect of Social Capital of Wage Workers with Acquired Disabilities on Organizational Commitment: Focusing on the Comparison of Degree of Disability (중도장애인 임금근로자의 사회적 자본이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향: 장애정도 비교 중심으로)

  • This study aims to analyze the effects of the social capital of wage workers with acquired disabilities on organizational commitment, depending on the degree of their disabilities. The survey included 187 people with severe acquired disabilities and 606 people with moderate acquired disabilities, who participated in the 8th (2015) panel survey of employment for the disabled. Multiple regression analysis was performed: the results identified that the official network activity increased for people with both severe and moderate acquired disabilities and contributed to the improvement of organizational commitment. Further, women had a significant influence on organizational commitment. In the case of people with severe acquired disabilities, it was also found that, as social participation increased, organizational commitment decreased. In the case of people with moderate acquired disabilities, individuals who were healthier, more regular workers, and had higher qualifications had a greater positive the impact on the organizational commitment. Based on the results of this study, ways to increase social capital and organizational commitment of wage earners with severe and moderate acquired disabilities are suggested.

  • The aim of this study is to analyze the correlation between the job characteristics, psychological wellbeing, and organizational commitment of workers in social welfare organizations. The subjects were 275 workers of social welfare organizations in Y city, Gyeongsangbuk-do. The analysis were frequency, reliability, correlation, and regression using the SPSS Program. The results of the study, analyzing the effects of job characteristics on organizational commitment showed that authority, harmony, and autonomy had positive effects on organizational commitment. Analyzing the effects of job characteristics on psychological wellbeing showed that authority and harmony had positive effects on psychological wellbeing, but autonomy was not. The organizational commitment to the effects of job characteristics on psychological wellbeing was analyzed as the partial mediated effect. The implications of this study are expected to be utilized as baseline data in developing programs for improving organizational commitment for the psychological wellbeing of social welfare organizations workers.

Effects of Individual Motivation on Turnover Intention among Social Workers : Focused on the mediation effects of multiple commitment (사회복지사의 개인적 동기가 이직의도에 미치는 영향 - 다중몰입의 매개효과를 중심으로 -)

  • This study set out to investigate the effects of individual motivation on turnover intention among social workers and examine their turnover intentions in details by focusing on the mediation effects of multiple commitment. To be specific, it aimed to propose and test a prediction model for social workers' turnover intentions based on the Self-determination Theory and Theory of Planned Behavior. For those purposes, a mail survey was taken among social workers working for use facilities, residential facilities, public health centers, social welfare foundations and associations, and all kinds of centers and institutions in 15 cities and provinces across the nation. Total 1,918 questionnaires were distributed, and 1,671 ones were returned, and 979 whose respondents expressed a turnover intention were used in final analysis. The analysis results indicate that psychological motivation of social workers had direct impacts on their turnover intention. However, their role stress had no direct impacts on their turnover intention, which suggests that the impulsive routes model for turnover intention is supported only in psychological motivation and job characteristics. Secondly, their psychological and job motivation turned out to have indirect impacts on turnover intention through the multiple commitment, which suggests that the reflective routes model for turnover intention is supported in all career, job, and organizational commitment. Career commitment had the most significant impacts on turnover intention, being followed by job commitment and organizational commitment in the order, which suggests that the social welfare academy should increase their interest in career commitment. Based on the findings, the study proposed implication for the career management plans, plans for human resources

The Effects of Relational Benefits and Commitment on Word-of-mouth Intention and Repurchase Intention for Cosmetic Purchaser in Internet Shopping Mall (인터넷 쇼핑몰에서의 관계효익과 관계몰입이 화장품 소비자의 구전의도 및 재구매의도에 미치는 영향)

  • As increasing the rates of purchasing cosmetic in internet shopping mall, the relationship marketing between purchaser and shopping mall service providers has become more important. At this point, the purpose of this study was to investigate factors of relational benefits and commitment, and to analyze the effects of relational benefits and commitment on word-of-mouth intention and repurchase intention for cosmetic purchaser in internet shopping mall. With convenience sampling, the research was surveyed to 20’s to 30’s female and male who had purchased cosmetics in internet shopping mall. The 308 responses were analyzed by frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability test, and multi-regression analysis. The results were as follows. First, the factors of relational benefits were divided into psychological benefits, social benefits, and economic benefits. Also the factors of commitment were divided into calculative commitment and affective commitment. Second, only psychological benefits affected to calculative commitment, and all three factors of relational benefits affected to affective commitment. Third, the word-of-mouth intention for cosmetic purchaser in internet shopping mall was affected by psychological benefits, social benefits, economic benefits, calculative commitment and affective commitment. Lastly, the repurchase intention of cosmetic in internet shopping mall was affected by psychological benefits, social benefits, economic benefits, calculative commitment, affective commitment and the word-of-mouth intention.

Influence of R&D Employees' Social Network and Self-Esteem on Organizational Commitment and Career Orientation (R&D 인력의 사회적 네트워크와 자아존중감이 조직몰입과 경력지향성에 미치는 영향)

  • The effective management of R&D employees is critical for a small or medium sized firm's sustainable growth. R&D employees have professional skills and choose expertise-oriented or management-oriented careers in the process of organizational socialization. This study synthetically verifies the direct and indirect effects of R&D employees' social network and self-esteem on their career orientation by organizational commitment based on social network theory and social recognition theory. The research model has been analyzed through structural equation modeling using survey responses from 220 R&D employees at small- and medium-sized firms in Korea. The analysis results show that internal network activities have direct and indirect impacts on organizational commitment and career orientation, but external network activities do not have significant effects on self-esteem, organizational commitment, or career orientation. There is no consensus in prior studies on whether expert orientation and management orientation are distinct concepts. In this study, these two types of orientation are verified as distinct concepts. It is also found that R&D employees' internal network activities are significant factors for a company's growth. A company should implement an educational system of roles and duties using which individuals can pursue career progression. In addition, it is necessary to provide career development programs such as job rotation, mentoring, and career counseling.

Effects of Social Factors and Game Factors on Commitment of Mobile Social Network Games(M-SNG) (사회적 요인과 게임적 요인이 모바일 소셜 네트워크 게임 몰입에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: The purposes of this study are (1) to examine why users commit to M-SNG and (2) to understand what factors impact M-SNG users' enjoyment, motivation and commitment. Methods: We use a questionnaire survey to collect 190 data on users' perception on M-SNG. we also use a structural equation modeling method with Smart PLS 3.0 Results: Playfulness, design aesthetics, competition and social identity are found to be statistically significant factors affecting enjoyment and motivation. Also, enjoyment and motivation are found to be statistically significant factors affecting commitment. Conclusion: We suggest three points of view as game factors, socio-game factors, and social factors. Game factors are more important than other factors. Also, enjoyment is a more powerful factor than motivation in affecting user's commitment to using M-SNG.

  • This study was carried out in order to verify the influence that recognition was mad to organization commitment, organizational culture type leadership of a social welfare organization. The study object a total Part 456 was used to analysis as social worker engaged in to social welfare agency. It was for an independent variable to revolutionized leadership, exchanged leadership as leadership type, and it was organizational culture an mediator variable, analyzed correlation of organization commitment, analysis return in order to grasp an influence to be mad to organization commitment material leadership type, executed path analysis so that direct and indirect effect being mad to organization commitment organizational culture through leadership type. Result of research, A total effect to affect regarding organization commitment, there is most a lot of revolutionized leadership, affected that organization culture appeared group culture of an organization, exchanged leadership, development culture. A leader of a social welfare organization shall improve self-participation and business efficiency voluntary of an employee through revolutionized leadership, in order to improve organization commitment of an employee, this leadership types had to improve organization commitment of an employee as group culture of an organization.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the relationship between job stress, job crafting, and organizational commitment and the moderating effect of job crafting for members working at social enterprises in Busan. The analysis results are as follows. First, job stress confirmed the negative effect on organizational commitment. Second, it was confirmed that job crafting had a significant effect on organizational commitment in the relationship between job stress and organizational commitment. Based on the results of this study, since job stress of social enterprise workers lowers job commitment, a plan to effectively manage and reduce their stress is required. In addition, job crafting regulates the relationship between job stress and organizational commitment, which means that although members are stressed, job stress has a different negative effect on organizational commitment depending on how much they perceive the meaning and value of their work.

Effects of Perceived Value and Value Congruence on Loyalty about Products or Services Provided by Social Enterprises: Focused on Commitment and Trust (인지된 가치와 가치 일치성이 사회적 기업 제품과 서비스 충성도에 미치는 영향: 몰입과 신뢰를 중심으로)

  • Establishing a financial independence is essential for sustainable growth of social enterprises. In this vein, this study investigated the key factors that affect customer loyalty about the products or services provided by social enterprises. Commitment and trust in social enterprises were considered as main factors affecting customer loyalty. We also examined the effects of functional, hedonic and social value about the products or services of social enterprises on purchasing decision-making processes. The research model analysis was conducted on 204 consumers using social enterprises in Dong-gu, Daegu. The analysis of research model has shown that commitment and trust had a significant impact on customer loyalty about the product or service of those enterprises. Functional value did not have a significant effect on commitment, while it had a significant effect on trust. Hedonic value had a significant impact on both commitment and trust. Social value had a significant effect on commitment, but not on trust. Value congruence had a significant effect on both commitment and trust. Based on the our findings, it is expected that it would help establish operational and marketing strategies to improve competitiveness in products and services of social enterprises.
