The purpose of this study is to try finding the research possibilities of computer technology in art education and understand why computer technology has such a great impact on our contemporary education. The methodology of this study is based on the analysis of literature review. I have tried to find the importance articles in the journals of art education such as Studies in Art Education and Art Education published from the National Art Education Association, one of the most well-known organizations in the field of art education. To draw the purpose of this study, I found articles and categorized the information using key words such as aesthetic, feminist, gender issues, and interactivity. After analyzing, I have discussed about the research possibilities and important issues of computer technology in art education and then categorized the information found in each article into four different subheadings: 1) the visual effects of computer graphics in art education, 2) gender issues based on the computer technology, 3) interactive multimedia and social interactions among students, 4) research possibilities with computer technologies in art education. The findings are as follow. Firstly, there were many research possibilities of computer technologies in art education such as ways of criticizing the contemporary art world. Secondly, I found that computer technology has a great impact on art education because students are more eager to engage with computer technologies-based media activities and very familiar with new media either at home and school. Therefore, we, as educators, must address how the student will be systematically engaged with computer technologies in their educational environment and should determine what knowledge and skills prospective teachers bring to our teacher education programs and how and where they acquired this knowledge.

This paper considers the historicity and aesthetical implications of in the art world of Paul Ryan(1943-2013) who designed the aestheticization of relational circuit of society by realizing the value of social transformation being inherent in video with cultural practices and suggesting the interdisciplinary method of leaning and research in the early video art history. To do this, in Chapter II, I review the first artwork presented firstly in the art gallery exhibition "TV as a Creative Medium" in 1969, in which Ryan proposed a video medium as a communication system and experimented the concept of 'feedback' in Cybernetics. And Chapter III focuses Ryan's discursive activities contributed to magazine Radical Software and artist-collective Raindance Corporation with growing interest in communication technology. At this time, Ryan regarded video medium as the tool for cybernetic expansion. Finally Chapter IV deals with the development of ecological method based on "a shared perception of environmental realities" and verifies Ryan's vision that video medium would be most effective means of social change and communication.
This study analyzed the effects of job style on job satisfaction and turnover intention of fashion models, and the difference in the job style, job satisfaction and turnover intention by model activities period. Data was collected by surveying fashion models with more than 10 modeling experiences, and 230 responses were used in the data analysis. The results of were as follows: First, the job style of fashion models were classified into professional ability type, social relationship-focused type, future-oriented type and body-boasting type. Job satisfaction was classified into satisfaction with working conditions, satisfaction with model activities, and satisfaction with relationships. Turnover intention was classified into intention to change jobs, and intention to quit modeling. Second, being a professional ability type had a negative effect on satisfaction with working conditions, whereas being a future-oriented type had a positive effect on it. The professional ability type and social relationship-focused type had a positive effect on satisfaction with model activities, and the social relationship-focused type had a positive effect on satisfaction with relationships. Third, the future-oriented type and body-boasting type had a negative effect on the intention to change jobs. The social relationship-focused type, future-oriented type and body-boasting type had a negative effect on the intention to quit modeling. Fourth, there were significant differences in the professional ability type, human relationship-focused type, body-boasting type, intention to change jobs and intention to quit modeling by model activities period. Therefore, it is necessary for domestic fashion models to have the appropriate attitude to develop features and competency required for modeling projects and if improvements are made to enhance job satisfaction of fashion models, the fashion modeling industry is expected to make further developments.
In light of the recent increase in new independent spaces within the field of artistic production, this study seeks to examine the daily experience and art practice of agents in such spaces. In-depth interviews were conducted with fifteen emerging artists, who manage new independent art spaces and participate actively in related activities, and the significance of their activities was analyzed. An important theoretical foundation of this study is Bourdieu's concept of the field of cultural production. According to Bourdieu, in order to understand a specific field, the habitus of agents must be studied together with the structure of the field. This study found that individuals belonging to the same or a close generation exhibit similar attitudes to life based on shared experiences, and they can be connected to their art practice. Most agents of new spaces did not have high expectations for success, and chose to practice art independently while bonding with their peers and enjoying the moment rather than wait for recognition or funding from external sources. Their self-fulfilling habitus is condition-specific and can be regarded as a form of flexible art practice. Given the poor conditions of today's field of artistic production, this is likely to serve as an advantage in entering the field and in position-taking. The social significance of this study lies in the fact that the aforementioned characteristics of the agents of independent production spaces not only reflect the current field of artistic production but also other fields of cultural production at large in our society.

The study was to improve the right to the enjoyment of culture of persons with visual impairment by increasing the accessibility to art exhibitions and exploring assistive measures through needs assessment survey of persons with visual impairment on arts exhibition. We used total 83 responses collected through an online survey. The result are as follows. First, watching movies at a teather was the most frequent leisure activity among persons with visual impairment, while respondents reported attending art exhibitions as the least frequent activity. Yet, 71.1% included attending art exhibitions as one of their top 5 culture and leisure activities. Most of the respondents reported the purpose of attending art exhibitions as fun. However, a primarily visual atmosphere prevented them from visiting the exhibition. Second, persons with visual impairment preferred approaching the art to have a closer look. More than about 50% of the respondents used their residual vision. Most of the respondents reported to use more than two senses when appreciating the exhibits. Moreover, respondents reported that devices/services for multi-sensory experiences would be helpful to appreciate the art. The findings imply that the consideration of the characteristics and needs of persons with visual impairment is required for establishing the environment of art exhibitions. This could further contribute to the improvement of the right to the enjoyment of leisure and culture of persons with visual impairment and lead to the realization of social integration.

This paper intends to focus on the practical activities and historical significance of network art, that is, 'net art' as an artistic form that depends on network technology. This is because the appearance of net art, which constructs a new interactive art that cooperates and exchanges with each other beyond the boundaries of time and space, can be a contemporary alternative in overcoming the limitations of traditional art. Another important research area to be considered in this paper is net art curating, as well as considering the significance of net art in art history. As new media art that is defined as a 'process' rather than a complete object, net art is a digital art that requires functions such as aesthetic appropriation, dissemination, and mediation performed online, unlike physical presentations with high perfection in exhibition halls. It is accompanied by a new social and cultural curatorial. This appearance requires both artists and curators to reorganize the strategy that net art curating in technoculture should have. Therefore, this paper attempts to question the creative strategies of net art in the wave of globalization in the 21st century, and to examine the artistic meaning and critical value of the experimental net art curatorial method that emerged through the realm of new technology and media. For this purpose, this paper demonstrated key examples of net art works and exhibition projects that started with Fluxus in the 1960s and are spreading all over the world in the 2000s.
The purpose of this study was to develop a social skills training program for rejected young children and to investigate the effects of the program. The developed program used several kinds of interaction methods such as instruction, modeling, rehearsal, feedback, and positive reinforcement. The contents of the program are consisted of role-play, art, language activities, and games. The experimental group with a sample of 9 four-year-old children was those children rejected by peers. There were the other 9 children assigned to the control group. The experimental group received the social skills training program for 50-60 minutes per day twice a week during 12 sessions, and the control group received no treatment. And 9 popular children also joined the program from ninth to eleventh sessions. As compared to the control group, children in the experimental group showed a significant increase in peer acceptance and social skills after they participated in the program.
The purpose of this study is to present foundational data to promote the cultural welfare status of youth. The actual condition of the youth's cultural welfare was investigated by investigating the degree of youth's cultural welfare satisfaction and needs by regional groups. A total of 1486 questionnaires were used for the final data analysis. The analysis revealed the following results. 1. Actual conditions of adolescents cultural welfare. 1) Among various cultural activities, adolescents find leisure and social activity, artistic, mass media and video-media activities very boring and one-sided, Instead, they have greater interest in computer- and Internet-related activities, such as getting and sharing information and communication. 2) While adolescents living in urban areas benefit from well developed social infra-structure, those living in rural areas seldom take advantage of it. 3) The obstacles against cultural welfare of the youth can be categorized as: 'lack of money,' 'lack of time,' and 'lack of cultural facilities. ' In urban areas 'lack of time' becomes an issue, whereas in rural areas 'lack of money' and 'lack of cultual facilities' are important. 2. Degree of cultural welfare satisfaction of the youths. Youths generally appear either 'unsatisfied' or 'neutral' concerning their satisfaction degree about leisure and social activity parts, and art and play-activity paris. On the other hand, they appear 'neutral' concerning their satisfaction degree about computer- and Internet-related information and communication parts, and mass- and video-media activity parts. In addition, urban youths show a higher degree of satisfaction than rural youths. 3. What the youths need To improve their culture welfare status, they need a lot of supplements for cultural activity in the form of cultural infra-structure. Regarding the cultural infra-structure, rural youths need more than urban youths.
This study intended to analyze picture books and activity contents of Book Start Program targeting infants and preschooler. Target objects were 244 picture books with their activities contained on casebook of Book Start Program. First, the study outcome showed that the most type of its picture books in general was fantasy, while, by ages, play books for those in 6~18 months, information books for those in 19~35 months, and fantasy books for those in 36 months~before going to school were the most. Second, contents of the picture books showed the most order of nature exploration, social relationship, art experience, while by ages, contents on nature exploration were the most in all ages, while social relationship and art experience showed statistically significant difference by ages. Third, the outcome of activity contents utilizing the books showed drawing activities were the most, while activities other than drawing showed statistically significant difference by ages. This result shows that they chose a picture book suitable for the developmental characteristics of the infants and preschoolers, but that the contents of the picture book were not closely associated with the activities. The outcome of this study lies in offering information and basis on ways to choose effective picture books and their activities to those planning and running Book Start Program in the future.
This study is to conclude a direction for Information Commons, which supports the university library in a new role. The study explains perspectives on the changing role of the university library by examining the approaches, histories, and theories practiced by various researchers on Information Commons. The study aims to discover ways of improving the library space that are dedicated to technology using Information Commons, it also examines ways of creating a unified "library space" that will support learning and access to knowledge and information. The features of Cultural Commons include making improvements to technology-centered space, and providing support to research, freedom of speech, creative approach, public freedom and collaboration, and interaction. The functions of Cultural Commons within the university library are listed: First, it supports programs that will transform the library into a social hub within the university. The space specifically blurs the boundary between the library building and its surroundings, and unifies these spaces to enhance its catalytic role in aiding social interactions and human-centered approach. Second, it supports active participation through cultural programs and provides a fluid and interactive space with virtual resources. Third, it enhances user experience to supports behaviors and activities that involve fixtures and equipment in the space to promote learning. The study notes that, with the emergence of these characteristics, the university library is changing by implementing Cultural Commons for on-campus social space and new learning. Accordingly, this implementation is expected to enhance active acceptance of the library space in the future.
