ON DISTANCE ESTIMATES AND ATOMIC DECOMPOSITIONS IN SPACES OF ANALYTIC FUNCTIONS ON STRICTLY PSEUDOCONVEX DOMAINS

  • We prove some sharp extremal distance results for functions in various spaces of analytic functions on bounded strictly pseudoconvex domains with smooth boundary. Also, we obtain atomic decompositions in multifunctional Bloch and weighted Bergman spaces of analytic functions on strictly pseudoconvex domains with smooth boundary, which extend known results in the classical case of a single function.

  • It is shown that the Mayer-Vietoris sequence holds for the cohomology of complexes of Lie algebroids which are defined on simplicial complexes and satisfy the compatibility condition concerning restrictions to the faces of each simplex. The Mayer-Vietoris sequence will be obtained as a consequence of the extension lemma for piecewise smooth forms defined on complexes of Lie algebroids.

Fixed point iterations for quasi-contractive maps in uniformly smooth banach spaces

  • It is our purpose in this paper to first establish an inequality in real uniformly smooth Banach spaces with modulus of smoothness of power type q > 1 that generalizes a well known Hilbert space inequality. Using our inequality, we shall then extend the above result of Qihou [15] on the Ishikawa iteration process from Hilbert spaces to these much more general Banach spaces. Furthermore, we shall prove that the Mann iteration process converges strongly to the unique fixed point of a quasi-contractive map in this general setting. No compactness assumption on K is required in our theorems.

SB발파에서 무장약 균열 유도공의 파단면 제어 유효성에 관한 수치해석적 연구 (Numerical Study on the Effectiveness of Guide Holes on the Fracture Plane Control in Smooth Blasting)

  • 본 연구에서는 SB발파에서 평활한 최종파단면과 발파손상영역을 제어하고, 동시에 발파진동을 제어하기 위한 목적으로 무장약 균열 유도공을 이용한 제어발파기법을 제안하였다. 무장약 균열유도공의 파단면 제어 유효성을 검토하기 위하여 일반 SB발파와 무장약 균열 유도공 적용한 SB발파에서 암반 내 발생하는 파괴과정을 수치해석법으로 모사하여 파단면을 분석하였다. 제발효과를 높이기 위하여 도폭선에 의한 기폭을 고려하였으며, 무장약 균열 유도공을 중심으로 양쪽에 장약공이 설치된 일자유면 발파로 가정하여 암반의 파괴과정해석을 수행하여 SB발파에서 무장약 균열 유도공에 의한 파단면 형성 기구를 고찰하였다. 결과적으로, 공간격이 40cm 이하에서 무장약 균열 유도공을 사용한 경우가 낮은 파단면 거칠기를 보여 파단면 제어 효과가 있음을 입증 하였다.

  • Let T be a local strongly accretive operator from a real uniformly smooth Banach space X into itself. It is proved that Ishikawa iterative schemes with errors converge strongly to a unique solution of the equations T$\_$x/ = f and x + T$\_$x/ = f, respectively, and are almost T$\_$b/-stable. The related results deal with the strong convergence and almost T$\_$b/-stability of Ishikawa iterative schemes with errors for local strongly pseudocontractive operators.

  • For a smooth algebraic curve C of genus g $\geq$ 4, let $SU_C$(r, d) be the moduli space of semistable bundles of rank r $\geq$ 2 over C with fixed determinant of degree d. When (r,d) = 1, it is known that $SU_C$(r, d) is a smooth Fano variety of Picard number 1, whose rational curves passing through a general point have degree $\geq$ r with respect to the ampl generator of Pic($SU_C$(r, d)). In this paper, we study the locus swept out by the rational curves on $SU_C$(r, d) of degree < r. As a by-product, we present another proof of Torelli theorem on $SU_C$(r, d).

극대변형 해석을 위한 SPH 수치기법 개발 및 ExLO 코드 연계 (Integration of 3-Dim SPH Scheme into the ExLO Code)

  • This paper describes the development of SPH(Smooth Particle Hydrodynamics) scheme and integration into the multi-material shock physics code(ExLO) for the purpose of the application to the extreme large deformation problems. SPH numerical scheme has been extended into the fluid dynamics and the high-speed impact events, such as space structure protection against space debris and meteorite catering. Like other hydrocodes, SPH scheme also solves the conservation equations with the constitutive equation including equation of state. The benchmark problem, Taylor-Impact test, was simulated and the predictions show good agreements with both the published numerical data and experimental data. Currently, the contact treatment between materials is under development.

  • In this paper, we study the following extended generalized variational inequality problem, introduced by Noor (for short, EGVI) : Given a closed convex subset K in q-uniformly smooth Banach space B, three nonlinear mappings T : $K\;{\rightarrow}\;B^*$, g : $K\;{\rightarrow}\;K$, h : $K\;{\rightarrow}\;K$ and a vector ${\xi}\;{\in}\;B^*$, find $x\;{\in}\;K$, $h(x)\;{\in}\;K$ such that $\xi$, g(y)-h(x)> $\geq$ 0, for all $y\;{\in}\;K$, $g(y)\;{\in}\;K$. [see [2]: M. Aslam Noor, Extended general variational inequalities, Appl. Math. Lett. 22 (2009) 182-186.] By using sunny nonexpansive retraction $Q_K$ and the well-known Banach's fixed point principle, we prove existence results for solutions of (EGVI). Our results extend some recent results from the literature.
