This paper aims to develop a conceptual framework for evaluating the impact of motivational factors on the work results of lecturers at Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU), one of two leading multidisciplinary and multi-sectoral national universities in Vietnam. This study has considered wages and other benefits (WB), training and development (TD), working environment (WE) and working motivation (WM) as motivational factors, and proposed a structural model of the impact of motivational factors on the work results of lecturers at VNU. The empirical analysis used data from the survey data of 321 university lecturers. Comprehensive, valid, and reliable tools (SPSS 26 and SmartPLS 3.0 software) are used to evaluate rigorous statistical tests including convergence validity, discriminatory validity, reliability, and average variance extracted to analyze and verify the gathered data, and the hypotheses developed. The result of path analysis shows that four motivational factors constitute a structured system with different degrees of influence on the work results of lecturers. There is also a positive relationship between the motivational factors and the work results of lecturers. As a result, it can be concluded that all hypotheses developed are supported. Several recommendations are further suggested to improve the performance of lecturers at VNU.
Purpose This study aims to analyze how entrepreneurs' morality affects entrepreneurship and social responsibility. The purpose of this study is to analyze the differences of entrepreneurship and social responsibility on corporate financial performance and social performance by measuring entrepreneurial morality index. Design/methodology/approach The research model is based on the existing literature related to morality, entrepreneurship, social responsibility, and corporate performance. In order to verify the research model, empirical analysis was conducted. The collected data were analyzed by Smart-pls 2.0 based on the structural equation model based measurement model verification and the structural model verification two - step approach. Using the bootstrapping method of PLS, 500 samples were constructed and hypothesis verification was performed. Findings The results of this study are as follows. In the case of general manufacturing companies, business people are more focused on improving corporate performance than morality, and have a somewhat consistent effect with entrepreneurial spirit that does not have a space of morality. When entrepreneurship is strengthened, financial performance and social performance. Business entrepreneurs in social enterprises are more aware of social responsibility than entrepreneurship, so they achieve both financial performance and social performance at the same time. As a result of this study, it was found that there is a difference in perception depending on the morality of the business people, entrepreneurship, social bookkeeping, and management performance according to the type of company.

The management of mega construction projects which incorporate a large number of stakeholders, technologies, data, work culture etc., is cumbersome. The experts in the construction arena advocate that interface management serves as a precise tool in resolving these conflict points due to the intricate nature of the construction projects. Interface management is a current trending management practice in the construction industry which is also a beneficiary to mega/fast track projects in enhancing the project performance. The main objective of this study is to validate a model for assessing the relationships among interface management, IT applications, project performance & project benefits. The mediating effect of interface management in relationship between project performance & interfacial factors was also investigated. The research model was validated using PLS-SEM (Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modelling) approach. Data were collected from clients, contractors, consultants in large scale projects through questionnaire survey and smart-PLS software was used to analyse the conceptual model. The research model comprises eleven hypothesis and the significance of these hypothesis were tested using T- statistics values. The research implies that people/participants factor is greatly influenced by interface management with the path coefficient of 0.608 and also enhancement of project's schedule performance due to the interface management is strongly appealing (Path coefficient = 0.711). The results also reveal IT application is significantly associated with interface management practice (Path coefficient =0.723) and also the effect of IT application on project performance (schedule, cost, quality & safety) is successfully mediated through interface management practice. The practical application of this validated model was done through case study. The case study aims at measuring the impact of interface management on interfacial factors and role of interface management in improving the project performance in the construction organisations.

Purpose: The researchers reviewed the previous studies on the psychological anxiety and economic damage during the recent COVID-19 pandemic to understand the satisfaction, awareness and attitude of the residents in Jeju, Korea. Research design, data and methodology: 215 samples based on self-reported survey were collected for path analysis focused on controlling variables in demographic characteristics in PLS-SEM using Smart PLS 3.0. Results: The researchers found the Satisfaction with COVID-19 Prevention Measures and the Awareness of Tourism Crisis affect Attitude toward Tourism of the residents with the explanatory power (R2 = 0.209). Age was found to be the only significant controlling variable in this model for the Awareness of Tourism Crisis to Attitude toward Tourism. Conclusions: The attitude toward tourism is influenced by the level of satisfaction of the prevention service for COVID-19 as well as the awareness of the crisis. Residents have different level of the tourism crisis awareness by the status of their economic activities while there is no differences in all age groups for satisfaction in the quarantine service. The study suggests that the importance of the public health service should be preferentially concerned for residents to have stable economic activities where the tourism is the major industry.

The purpose of this study is to explain intention to use untact medical diagnosis and consultation services. We carried out the analysis of the survey data using Smart PLS 3.0 to test the hypotheses how the expected benefit variables and perceived risk variables of untact medical diagnosis and consultation services affect intention to use. According to the empirical analysis results, this study confirmed that quality of telemedicine service had a significant effects on perceived usefulness, Perceived Easy of Use. And accessibility had a significant effects on perceived easy of use, cost saving and expected benefits had a significant effects on use Intention of untact medical diagnosis and consultation services. Performance risk and service risk had a significant effect on medical risk. And medical risk had a significant negative(-) effects on use Intention of untact medical diagnosis and consultation services. This study has its meaning because it found out that it deals structurally and expansively with use intention of untact medical diagnosis and consultation services through positive and negative factors.
Purpose - Brand equity has emerged as an indispensable marketing tool for firms engaging their business in developing nations. This study proposes that the country of origin image and advertising will affect the Korean brand equity formation, which leads to repurchase intention of Korean brands. In the study, attitude factors are applied in brand equity theory to predict repurchase intention of Korean brands. Cognitive brand equity, such as brand awareness, brand association, brand image and attitudinal brand equity, such as perceived quality and brand loyalty are considered with regards to their attitude towards the Korean brand. Design/methodology - A total of 178 Myanmar consumers out of 200 participants who have used Korean brands answered the survey and data were analyzed through SmartPLS 3.3.2 version. PLS-SEM is considered a more suitable analysis to pin down and evaluate the cause-effect relationship among all of the constructs with relatively complex models. Findings - Our results substantiate that the country of origin image positively affects brand awareness, brand associations, and brand image and advertising awareness positively affects brand awareness. Brand awareness gives positive effect only on brand association, which sustains a positive effect on brand image and brand loyalty. Brand image only has a positive effect on perceived quality, which again affects repurchase intention and brand loyalty. Brand loyalty also shows a positive effect on repurchase intention. Originality/value - Brand equity dimensions were viewed as cognitive and attitudinal outcomes of brand equity which affects repurchase intention. The drivers of brand equity were considered from the perspective of country of origin image that firms cannot control or mange, and advertising awareness which firms can control and manage. The findings also explored the relationships between cognitive and attitudinal brand equity.
This study designed a research model to analyze the relationship between organizational commitment and work performance for outsourcing workers. The path relationship was analyzed using the PLS-SEM of the sample collected through the survey. As a result of the study, organizational support perception had a direct effect on the work performance of outsourcing workers, and the company commitment and customer company commitment had a mediating effect. In addition, it was confirmed that the workers showed dual commitment to the company and the customer company, and the organizational commitment to both companies was complementary. It was also suggested that the outsourcing company's organizational support activities are more important for improving the work performance of workers.
In this study, nurses above the age of 20 years and working in General Hospitals located in the Gyeongbuk province were enrolled as participant. A survey was conducted to identify the relationship between types of health-eating, level of occupational stress, and degree of quality of life. An effective sample size of 120 was determined, and it was validated as a feasible count to perform the analysis by applying the PLS-SEM. We hypothesized that the physiological and psychological occupational stress levels vary according to functional, mental, and trendy types of health-eating lives and impact the degree of quality of life. This was evaluated using structural models, employing the bootstrapping method using the Smart PLS 3.0. Our results indicate that in the relationship between health-eating types and quality of life, the higher the functional health-eating type, the higher the quality of life. The association between job stress and quality of life showed that the higher the psychological work stress, the more negative the quality of life. Examining the association between the type of healthy eating and the quality of life revealed that the higher the functional health-eating type, the higher the quality of life. As a result of verifying the moderating effect of the difference in working period (less than 3 years/more than 3 years), it was found that the shorter the working period (less than 3 years), the higher the psychological stress.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between corporate entrepreneurship and organizational effectiveness among employees of medical institutions. In addition, we aim to investigate the mediating effect of motivation to participate in the In-house Innovation & Start-up Contest and the moderating effect of support from a dedicated organization. Methodology/Approach: A survey was conducted on participants in the 3rd in-house contest held in 2023 at Granum Sinapis Center of Seoul St. Mary's Hospital. A total of 122 people responded to the survey. The collected data were analyzed PLS-SEM(Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Model) using SmartPLS 4.0 program. Findings: First, 'Corporate entrepreneurship' had an effect on 'Participation motivation in in-house contest'. Second, 'Corporate entrepreneurship' had an effect on 'Organizational Effectiveness'. Third, 'Participation motivation in in-house contest' mediated the relationship between 'Corporate entrepreneurship' and 'Organizational Effectiveness'. And last, 'Support from a dedicated organization' had no moderating effect on the relationship between 'Corporate entrepreneurship' and 'Organizational Effectiveness'. Practical Implications: Since the dedicated organization is in the early stages of operation, there may be no moderating effect on organizational effectiveness. If follow-up research is conducted after the dedicated organization's system has been supplemented, the moderating effect may appear differently.
This study aims to determine the factors affecting the level of satisfaction with the Cell Broadcast Service (CBS) among citizens in Incheon. Partial least squares (PLS) regression, instead of multiple regression, was used for the analysis because it can solve multicollinearity and sample size issues. The analysis results are as follows: The factor with the greatest effect on satisfaction with CBS among Incheon citizens, was the elimination of redundancies (VIP=1.185). Therefore, local governments, government agencies, and public organizations must coordinate their ideas and collectively create guidelines to eliminate redundancies. The second most influential factor was the expansion in the broadcast medium from legal, institutional, and policy aspects (VIP=1.087). This is because differences in generation, age, gender, and personal characteristics were not considered. Therefore, it is necessary to devise a customized messaging tool through the expansion of broadcast media. The broadcast criteria of the legal, institutional, and policy perspectives comprised the third most influential factor, with a high VIP value of 1.053. Consequently, it is essential to devise a plan to avoid distributing unnecessary cell broadcast services, by establishing criteria for areas and sections, time, and the direct and indirect impact zones of a disaster. In the future, this study could be used as base data to develop policies, guidelines, and response measures for Incheon CBS. Given the lack of research on the diverse characteristics of each social class and the city traits of each region, and a lack of concrete empirical research on each factor, continuous and in-depth studies are required in the future.
