공학수준 수상함 지휘무장통제체계 범용 모델 개발방안 연구 (On the Development of the Generic CFCS for Engineering Level Simulation of the Surface Ship)

  • In this paper, we considered the authoritative representation of Command and Fire Control System(CFCS) for the surface ship that was the engineering level model to develop system specifications and to analyze operational concepts on the concept design phase and to analyze military requirements, effectiveness and performance for the system. The engineering level model of CFCS can be used in simulation independently of the surface ship's type, and also it takes reuse, interoperability, and extension into consideration. The detailed sub-models, internal and external data interface, data flow among each sub-model, sensor and weapon models about the engineering level model of CFCS was defined. It was verified via engineering level simulations according to the V&V process.

  • Nowadays, customer-oriented manufacturing enterprises such as airplane, ship, ship engine, etc are knowledge-intensive and higher added value industries. In these companies, to quickly respond customer's order, a quotation management is a very important task. But, this task is very complex, time-consuming, resource- consuming, and difficult process because it is related with many departments within a company. In this paper, for the effective and efficient quotation management, the concept of product specification framework is introduced because a quotation BOM (bills of material) can be created from product specification. Also, this paper presents the product specification framework based quotation management process and implements the quotation management system for the ship engine division of 'H' company, one of customer-oriented manufacturing enterprises. As a result, the proposed quotation management concept reduced a lead time of drawing out quotations from $3{\sim}10$ days to 1 hour. And, the constructed quotation management system achieved a rapidity, accuracy, quality, and workload reduction of the quotation management process.

Review of Ice Characteristics in Ship-Iceberg Collisions

  • The International Ice Patrol (IIP) was established after the Titanic collided with an iceberg off the eastern coast of Canada in 1912 and sank, killing more than 1,500 people. Recently, the IIP has analyzed satellite images and provided safe operation information to vessels by tracking the occurrence and movement of icebergs. A large number of recent arctic studies mainly deal with sea ice formed by freezing seawater related to sea routes and resource development. The iceberg that collided with the Titanic was land-based ice that dislodged from a glacier and fell into the sea. The properties of these two types of ice are different. In addition, vessels operating in ice-covered waters such as the Arctic sea have an ice-breaking function or minimum ice-strengthened functions. Ships operating on transatlantic routes including the eastern coast of Canada do not necessarily require ice-strengthened functions. Hundreds to thousands of icebergs are discovered each year near the area where the Titanic sank. In this study, the status of ship-iceberg collision accidents was investigated to provide useful information to researchers, and the physical and mechanical characteristics of icebergs were investigated and summarized.

Safety analysis of marine nuclear reactor in severe accident with dynamic fault trees based on cut sequence method

  • Dynamic fault tree (DFT) and its related research methods have received extensive attention in safety analysis and reliability engineering. DFT can perform reliability modelling for systems with sequential correlation, resource sharing, and cold and hot spare parts. A technical modelling method of DFT is proposed for modelling ship collision accidents and loss-of-coolant accidents (LOCAs). Qualitative and quantitative analyses of DFT were carried out using the cutting sequence (CS)/extended cutting sequence (ECS) method. The results show nine types of dynamic fault failure modes in ship collision accidents, describing the fault propagation process of a dynamic system and reflect the dynamic changes of the entire accident system. The probability of a ship collision accident is 2.378 × 10-9 by using CS. This failure mode cannot be expressed by a combination of basic events within the same event frame after an LOCA occurs in a marine nuclear reactor because the system contains warm spare parts. Therefore, the probability of losing reactor control was calculated as 8.125 × 10-6 using the ECS. Compared with CS, ECS is more efficient considering expression and processing capabilities, and has a significant advantage considering cost.

선박관리산업 전문인력 이직 원인 분석 및 대책 연구 (A Study on the Analysis of Reasons for Job Change and Countermeasures among Professionals in the Ship Management Industry)

  • 대한민국 선박관리산업은 지속적으로 발전하고 있으며 이에 정부에서는 선박관리산업 환경 변화에 대응하기 위해 선박관리산업 발전을 위한 정책을 추진함으로써 대한민국 선박관리산업 경쟁력을 높이기 위해 다양한 정책을 추진하고 있다. 또한 선박 관리산업의 경쟁력을 좌우하는 중요한 요소로서 우수한 선박관리 전문인력의 필요성을 제시하였고 선박관리 전문인력 양성 계획 및 관련 정책을 추진하였다. 하지만 이러한 정부 및 유관기관의 노력에도 불구하고 현재 선박관리기업들은 심각한 인력난을 겪고 있다. 선박관리산업의 경쟁력을 높이기 위해 우수한 선박관리 전문인력을 확보하는 것이 필수적이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 선박관리 전문인력의 이직 원인을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구결과 선박관리 전문인력 이직 원인의 경우 업무환경, 경제적 보상 및 복리후생, 자기개발, 승진 및 커리어 4가지 요인으로 분류되었다. 이후 도출된 요인을 바탕으로 다중회귀 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 경제적 보상 및 복리후생 요인의 비표준화계수 0.426으로 선박관리 전문인력의 이직률 감소에 영향을 미치는 것으로 도출되었다. 본 연구는 향후 선박관리산업의 안정적인 인적자원 관리 정책을 구축함에 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

북태평양 중부 해산어장에 있어서 저층 트롤의 어획실태 (Fishing investigation of trawl fisheries in sea mount of central northern Pacific)

  • This study was conducted in order to the experiment of bottom trawl fisheries in the sea mount of central northern pacific($30^{\circ}-40^{\circ}N$, $170^{\circ}-175^{\circ}E$), during the period of July 1 to August 25, 2004 by commercial trawl ship. Fishing experiment was carried out by bottom trawl, with the codend of 110mm mesh size. The number of 101 test fishing was done in the sea mount of central northern pacific during 56 days and the total catches were 198,593kg as 18 fish species, and CPUE/day and catches/day were 8.3 hours towing time and 3,546kg. Catch ratio according to each fishing ground was higher with the order of B, C, and E, and catches for B was 7,171.0kg during the towing time of 13.2 hours. Main target species were Pseudopentaceros richardsoni and Beryx splendens, there was 14.9% of damage ratio for fishing gears on catching the target fishes inhabiting on the rough sea bottom. Catches by water depth was the order of 300m below, 301-350m, 451-500m and 351-400m. It is thought that there was no problem on the mesh size because most of fishes caught from the experimental fishing was 30cm over.

자원 제약을 고려한 조선산업에서의 탑재 일정계획에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Erection Scheduling for Shipbuilding Considering Resource Constraints)

  • Scheduling for shipbuilding processes has many alternative solutions since it has long time horizon and handles many jobs. This requests the scheduling system to generate and search feasible alternative solutions in short period of time. Among shipbuilding schedules, the ship erection schedule in a dock is the most important since the dock is the most critical resource in shipyard. In this research, we model the erection scheduling problem for shipbuilding and develop a new problem solving method using CST(Constraint Satisfaction Technique) and ILOG Scheduler. Experimental results show that the proposed scheduling method outperforms the existing manual scheduling methods in terms of schedule performance and required time.

  • Currently for exploring marine resources, After confirming the location of the resources by controlling search equipment and sensor module, the method which collects sample of searched resources and analyzes the quality and a contents of the resources in research vessel is been applying. This search method is structure which analyzes an ingredient in ship and decides the quality of the resources. And real-time processing for an effective resources search is been demanding. Therefore we have developed a exploration system of marine resource that can display the type feature of resources by Graphic User Interface.

선박의 초기설계 제품정보관리를 위한 PLM 시스템 원형 개발 (Development of PLM Prototype for Conceptual Design of Marine Vessels)

  • 최근의 제조 산업에서 제품개발 정보는 제품 수명주기 관리(PLM: Product Lifecycle Management) 시스템을 통하여 관리하고, 조달과 생산 계획에 관련된 통제는 전사적 자원관리(ERP: Enterprise Resource Planning), 생산 관리 시스템이 담당하고 있다. 특히, 효율적인 제품 개발과 시스템 구축 여부는 설계 및 생산, 원가 관리 전체에 걸쳐 영향을 미친다. 따라서 도면, 모델, 자재 정보 등 제품정보관리를 위한 PLM시스템의 역할이 매우 중요하게 여겨지고 있다. 이러한 PLM체계는 요구 사항 분석, 시스템 설계 그리고 기존 Data Migration 등 정보 시스템 개발 절차를 따라서 수행된다. PLM시스템은 전사적인 시스템 개발 과정에서 Prototype개발을 진행하여 구축 절차와 체계 설계를 검증하는 것이 효과적이다. 이 과정에서 PLM 아키텍처 및 제품 구조(Product Structure) 구성, PLM의 기능 개발을 수행한 후에 전체 시스템 설계 개발을 재 수행하는 것이 효과적이다. 본 연구에서는 조선 PLM구축에 필요한 절차와 체계 설계 방법을 제시하고, 이를 초기 기본 설계 단계에 적용하여 PLM구축 방법론을 제시하고자 한다. 초기 설계를 대상으로 요구사항을 도출하고, PLM의 아키텍처를 설계하였으며, 설계한 시스템을 Prototype형태로 제시하였다.

선박 및 실내 N-스크린 서비스를 위한 동적 Threshold 기반 멀티캐스트 기술 (Dynamic Threshold-Based Multicast Scheme for N-Screen Services in Indoor and Ship Area Networks)

  • 센서장비에 장착되는 무선통신 모듈은 선내 통합유무선 네트워크와의 원활한 연결을 위하여 무선 게이트웨이 기능을 수행하는 Bridge(브릿지)를 통한 데이터 전송방식이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 선박 및 실내 끊김없는 N-스크린 서비스를 위한 무선 통신 MAC 구조로서, WiMedia Distributed-MAC(D-MAC) 프로토콜을 적용하고, 끊김없는 D-MAC 프로토콜에서 P2P(Point to point) 스트리밍이 가능한 OSMU(One Source Multi Use) N-스크린 서비스를 제공하기 위해, 동적 Threshold 기반 멀티캐스트 기술을 제안하고 성능을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 새로운 Hard/Soft Vertical Region(HVR-SVR) 기반 타임 슬롯 할당 기술과 Multicast 자원 예약기술을 결합하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해 동적 Threshold 기반 멀티캐스트 기술은 다양한 서비스 시간 간격 요구를 갖는 실시간 N-스크린 데이터 전송에 있어, 멀티캐스트 및 유니캐스트 전송 DRP 예약 구간을 확장하고 수율을 향상시키는 효과를 나타내었다.
