Background: A group health service is a system that delegates workplace health management to an entrusted institution. There have been various studies on group health services to date, but recent changes, such as an increase in foreign workers, are rapidly changing industry characteristics. Methods: Satisfaction was assessed using a 27-question survey distributed among 203 workplaces employing health professionals. The survey items consisted of general characteristics, comprehensive satisfaction, requirements for health professionals' work, and satisfaction with work environment management, ergonomic management, and healthcare management. Multiple regression and frequency analyses were performed. Results: The comprehensive satisfaction was 4.08 points on average, out of 5. The comprehensive satisfaction of health professionals in the industry was positively correlated with each factor. Hazardous materials and chemical management (material safety data sheets, MSDSs) were the most common requirements. Conclusion: A low level of satisfaction with work environment management indicates high demand for healthcare management. The working environment should be improved by identifying characteristics of the workplace, examining harmful substances, inspecting equipment, and enhancing worker methods. The shorter the work experience of health professionals, the more dependent they are on group health services. The variables affecting comprehensive satisfaction were the period of work, healthcare management satisfaction, and work environment management satisfaction. Most of the requirements of health professionals in the workplace were practical improvement case presentations, MSDSs, and legal document management.

This study is a comparative study on the tendency of power distance between administrative and field personnel in fire departments. For this study, 355 firefighters nationwide were surveyed from August 22 to December 31, 2023, and the collected data was analyzed using the SPSS 24.0 statistical program. As a result of the reliability analysis, Cronbach's =.803 was found to be higher than the standard value of 0.6. irefighting agencies are firefighting organizations that work to resolve incidents quickly and efficiently at disaster sites, and an appropriate level of power distance is essential. However, excessive power distance between superiors and subordinates leads to self-righteousness in administration and incompetence in field activities through one-sided instructions and compliance. As a result of analyzing the power distance tendencies of administrative and field workers in fire departments in this study, it was confirmed that there was no bias in either direction with an average score of 2.55. And the level of power distance tendency between administrative and field firefighters was 2.56 points, showing no significant difference.
This study aimed to analyze the effects that the exchange relationship among employees engaged in the wedding industry in Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongnam area exerted on job satisfaction and voluntary service intentions. For this purpose, a theoretical model was presented based on previous studies and the relationship among variables was analyzed based on the analysis results through a survey. There have recently been great difficulties in the whole wedding industry due to the global economic depression and the low birthrate. Moreover, it is hard to optimize the future business environment. In particular, the low birthrate has weakened the demand base of the wedding industry. As a result, it is expected that the competition among companies will be more fierce in the wedding industry. Employees' voluntary service intention become much more important to overcome difficulties in this industry. Employees' voluntary service intentions can be possible when their job satisfaction is achieved. Many studies report the result that this job satisfaction can naturally be achieved when the high quality exchange relationship among a leader, team members (co-workers) and customers is formed. It is viewed that employees' voluntary service intentions should be induced through job satisfaction to improve the profitability through the efficient operation and management of the system. A leader of the organization should make an effort to form the high-quality exchange relationship with members, support so that team members(coworkers) and other employees can get along together and the teamwork can be improved and induce them to improve a high level of service quality with friendly customer services. In spite of the significance of the study discussed above, there are the following limitations in this study. There is a limit to a certain extent in generalizing study conclusions because the study was limited to the Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongnam area. If practical surveys which full- and part-time employees are included in the composition of samples are conducted for wedding suppliers in the country in the future, the quality of study will be able to improve.
The Fourth Industrial Revolution has been revolutionizing industry and education. This paper proposes an education platform, Smart Space EduPlatform (SSEP), for the real estate industry, aimed at educating the basic real estate technology (RETech) for workers in the real estate industry so they can achieve the highest and best use of the real estate in the smart environment. The habitat of SSEP is driven by the donation system ensuring sustainability, various technical functions such as tools for content production and learning participation, and learning behavior frameworks each in form of a learner, a teacher, and a helper. Services of SSEP consist of 17 important RETech lectures under 6 categories-planning and design, decision-making, management, economics, construction, and equipment-and project-based learning (PBL) curriculums. The lectures are provided along with video contents, additional learning materials and learning management service, while teachers' workshops, learner invitation and registration management, curriculum operation services are offered for the PBL curriculums.

This study aimed to identify factors influencing awareness and interest in male nail care and nail art among people in their 20s and 30s, using a survey that included 390 men and women. The survey consisted of sub-factors, including awareness of appearance management, interest in nails, perception of male nail care and nail art, behavioral factors in nail care, and image factors in nail care. The results showed that the overall average interest in male nail care and nail art was 3.76, which fell between "average" and "yes". Women showed higher interest in male nail care than men did. While there was no statistically significant difference in the average value, interest in male nail care and nail art was higher among those in their 30s than those in their 20s. Unmarried individuals showed more interest in male nail care than married ones, and higher levels of education were associated with higher interest. In terms of occupation, service workers showed the highest interest in male nail care and nail art. In conclusion, the findings suggest the need for marketing research that caters to the development of services and programs targeting the male nail industry. The study also highlights the importance of segmenting and differentiating marketing strategies that target male and female customers with a high interest in male nail care and nail art. Based on these findings, this study aims to provide direction for the male nail care industry and serve as a basis for the development of customized programs. Additionally, it aims to provide basic data to aid in the development of the nail industry in Gyeongnam.

The purpose of this study is to conduct a survey on awareness of the fourth industrial revolution being much debated recently and suggest the educational program for adult learner in order to create a new demand of university according to the social change. Based on earlier researches, the survey was conducted on employees working in the health and medical industry with questionnaire including the relevant educational field, areas of turnover and educational needs from July 1 to July 31, 2017. As a result, the bio-medical device, senior-friendly industry, environment and safety, clinical counselor and food service industry(coffee industry) were identified as necessary education areas. To enhance the validity of research results, in-depth interviews of relevant experts in each field were conducted from August 19 to September 22, 2017, and presented necessary education programs driven by the advent of the fourth industrial revolution and changes in each areas.
This study seeks to understand the inter-relationship between employee enthusiasm, trust, immersion and satisfaction of employees working at a hospitality company based in Gwangju Metropolitan City. The purpose of this study is to examine the human resources management of workers in the hospitality industry by grasping the current situation of employees working in the service enterprise. As a result, corporate organizational support in the hospitality industry has a significant impact on the enthusiasm of employees. The enthusiasm of the employee is shown to be trusting, immersing, and satisfying in the work of the employee in the hospitality company, which can be seen as an organization, showing that the employee's passion plays a positive role in trust, immersion and satisfaction. As the employee's enthusiasm is reflected in the quality of the service product as a result, it can be regarded as the quality of the relationship that the employee is responsible for or positive feelings about the company in which he or she is in charge. Personnel management measures are required to strengthen pride and desire to achieve work so that employees can exercise their passion to feel trust, immersion, and satisfaction in their businesses and work. Therefore, it is necessary to provide tangible and intangible organizational support and introduce and implement personnel-related programs to enhance work pride and desire to achieve.
Objectives : To identify the relationship between the use of medical services by workers with three types of respiratory diseases(total respiratory diseases, acute upper respiratory infections and chronic lower respiratory diseases) and exposure to hazardous agents after controlling for other factors affecting medical services use, such as characteristics of the enterprises(scale, industry type) and employee demographics (sex, age). Methods : The study population comprised 28,882 workers who had undergone general or special medical examinations at the industrial health center at least once between Jan 1995 and Dec 1997 and had possessed medical insurance during the period. We combined medical examination data with medical insurance data in order to analyze the relationship between exposure to hazardous agents and respiratory diseases, Results : Among the 28,882 study subjects, 17,454 employees(60.4%) used medical services more than once during 3-year study period, owing to more than one kind of respiratory diseases. In logistic regression analysis, sex, age and the size of the enterprises proved to be significant variables on the use of medical services for all three types of respiratory disease; The use of medical services increased with employee age. Women used more medical services than men and the employees in the large-scale enterprises used more services than employees in small-scale enterprises. However, exposure to dust or organic solvents did not affect medical service use due to total respiratory diseases or acute upper respiratory infections. Only in the case of chronic lower respiratory diseases did workers exposed to dusts(OR=1.12, 95% CI=1.01-1.24) or organic solvents(OR=1.19, 95% CI=1.05-1.35) use more medical services than those not exposed. Conclusions : Workers exposed to dusts or organic solvents are particularly apt to suffer from chronic lower respiratory diseases and use medical services more often than those not exposed. That is, chronic exposure to hazardous agents such as dusts and organic solvents is believed to be harmful and to cause respiratory symptoms and diseases.
This study aims to provide solutions concerned with to residential moving companies about their operational problems. In order to shed light on these problem, factor analysis and fuzzy AHP method are adopted. Selected factors are low quality of workers and equipments, weak condition of business, policy and form of a contract, and excessive competition. The results of survey show that excessive competition is the most urgent problem compared with other problems. In the twelve-measured variables, The problem of non-certificated firms, low service quality caused by excessive competition, and claims caused by lack of service instruction are chosen as the urgent matters. As a result of the analyses, the study would propose policy directions how to solve these problems. Firstly, the government should make the legal basis of operating the industry because there is too competitive in the field. Secondly, the government should regulate firms which have not a certificate because they are the cause of low service quality in the field. Thirdly, in order to improve the service quality, the study would suggest that the managers should instruct the workers of residential moving companies. Lastly, the paper would suggest that customers check the certificate of the firm allowed by the government authorities.
The proportion and role of public sector in health care industry is very small in Korea. Asymmetric distribution of health care resources is one of the major health care concerns. This issue is so important that it raises a question of accessibility, availability, continuity of care and equity of rural area people's health care utilization. To solve these problems and to satisfy the basic demand of oriental medical service in rural areas, the oriental public health doctors were placed in rural health centers since 1998. The main objectives of this study are twofold: to measure the cognition and attitude of health center directors on the strategies for utilizing oriental public health doctors and to provide basic data for improving the health manpower management program. Data have been collected by way of the self-administrative questionnaires. Developing the questionnaire, the literature review on the previous studies and delphi method were carried out. The response rate was 38.7%. The results of this study are summarized as follows; 1. community people respond positively on the oriental medical service activity in health center. 2. In regard to workloads of oriental public health doctor, 'appropriate' was 81.1% and 'burdensome' was 18.2%, respectively. 3. The 94.0% of respondents thought that the oriental medical service will be continued. 4. To activate oriental medical service in health center, the sufficient budget and provision of aid workers is a necessity. 5. The 75.5% of health center directors respond positively on the allocation of oriental public health doctor to health sub-centers. 6. Health center directors agreed that oriental public health doctor should perform the clinical service as well as prevention and health promotion activity. These results recommend that oriental medical service in health center should be continued gradually, and oriental public health doctors working at health center perform their work efficiently. Undoubtedly, their activity should be more focused on health promotion and disease prevention than daily patient care. For achieving this objective, more support of governmental policy is essential for utilizing oriental public health doctor and better health of the rural area community people.
